When it is your characters birthday (the date of creation of your character) you can get a gift from a Gatekeeper, currently it is a hat and a vitality buff that last for 12 hours.

To check your Birthday enter /mybirthday into the chat window.

Be sure to noble yourself, because when you die you will loose your birthday buff!

Notice to all players

A sudden issue with some Vesper Weapon drop-rates has taken effect on all servers, resulting in ordinary monsters all around Aden dropping Vesper weapons at a high frequency. The first report was sent by a character who claimed that their armor and weapon had transformed into Vesper. The on-duty GM entered the game to verify this, but he only saw a strange glow around the character's weapon. The character then emailed a screenshot of their situation and this proved that the character was indeed also wearing Vesper armor and carrying a glowing Vesper weapon. It seems that the transformations cannot be seen by other players.

A hotfix was released to keep the Vesper Weapons from being picked up by players, but testing confirmed that the hotfix neglected to remove one of the weapons. It was determined that some real Vesper weapons could not be removed from the servers. Read below for details on the bug.

Please do not be alarmed if an unexpected affect occurs when you pick up a Vesper weapon. During an emergency phone conference with the developers regarding this issue, they decided that if a real Vesper weapon slips into a player's inventory, they may keep it.

Santa's reindeer have unionized and gone on strike in an attempt to earn themselves extra vacation time! This has obviously perturbed Santa, seeing as they already have a monumental 364 days off every year. So, instead of bowing to their demands, old St. Nicholas has turned to the brave adventurers of Lineage II. • Baby Rudolph pets must be fed Baby Food so it can grow into a Rudolph.
• To use the Baby Food, select the Rudolph and double-click on the Baby Food icon. The Baby Rudolph will evolve into a Rudolph.

• Fruit Baskets should be fed to Rudolph to raise it into an Adult Rudolph.
• Fruit Baskets drop regularly from mobs throughout the world.

Cursed Raiders: These ordinary pirates were turned into mice that travel alone, but are able to stun you when you attack them. Fire a Pardon shot during the stun for the most effective results!

Cursed Deckhands: These pirates travel in packs and will call upon a Cursed Buccaneer if attacked.

Cursed Buccaneers: The biggest, burliest of all the pirates, the Cursed Buccaneer is best taken on in a group.

Responsibilities:

• always support your team.
• be aware of your party's HP and MP and try to improve party's strategy when needed or advice to change the spot when needed.
• listen to what the tank has to say (he is choosing mobs, keeping aggro on him and goes down first). Dead tank = dead party.
• agree an party strategy at the beginning of the party; tell what buffs/dances/songs are needed for everyone, when to heal in case of CDL, Frenzy, Bizon and other necessary things. Don't hesitate to advise other members on their startegy on that stage, because you can improve party's stategy or learn something new.
• tell when rebuff, do invocation, you are low mana and so on ...
• support actively when needed; supporters please don't forget about your debuffs: Root, Sleep, Trance and other can be crucial for your party.
• don't waste your mana; heal only when it's necessary and don't root all mobs you can see, because it's useless and you can do more harm than help.
• try to know skills of people you party with; other thing which can improve the quality of party and can be later usefull on PvP.

Rights:

• to party within the clan; the main reason for supporters leaving their clans is no clan party.
• to get clan help with quests and getting new gear; it's almost impossible for support to do quests alone and also they don't have many ways of making adena. Well equipped support can work much better for party.
• to have mana in party; if the support says "no mana" it means he can't support anymore so he is useless and party often dies.
• to have a quiet moment when buffing; please, it doesn't cost much, so try not to fight and wait patiently for your buffs (check if u have all of what u need, everyone can make a mistake). Dont aggro mobs at that time because, support is busy then, can't heal you and usually needs to run to you, so you get down. Also if you are beeing buffed and you aggro mobs on you, support gets the aggro!.
• to invocate in peace; all should protect invocating support not to get any damage, because he is very vulnerable and looses mana he can get from invocation.
• to be treated like a full party member; never say 'buff us and get lost" because you will sing differently when doing mass PvP and siege ... also don't say every time" heal him, do that, now that, unless you have completely incompetent support. We don't tell you when to nuke of use backstab, we know our job and usually know better how to support ... Exception is Party Recall - you should always tell your Eleven Elder, Eva's Saint if PR is needed because busy with healing party members he may not be able to see enemies and so on ...

1. Start quest at East of Town of Oren Castle, speak to Maestro Reorin. He will ask you to free his wife Reiria by slaying Shilen's Messenger Cabrio and get back soul orb.

2. Shilen's Messenger Cabrio locate at North-East of The Cemetery. A box will spawn out after Shilen's Messenger Cabrio dies, you will receive Reiria's soul orb by opening it.

3. Take the soul orb back to Maestro Reorin, he will ask you to go Tower of Insolence to kill 3 Raid Bosses to get 3 Infernium Scepters. A box will spawn out after Raid Boss dies, you will receive Infernium Scepters by opening it.

4. Return 3 Infernium Scepters to Maestro Reorin, he will ask you head to Town of Oren to look for Warehouse Freightman Cliff to get Infernium Varnish for Neutralization of Infernium Scepter. Warehouse Freightman Cliff is locates at middle of Town of Oren.

5. Return Infernium Varnish to Maestro Reorin, he will ask you to make a trip to Town of Aden meet Head Blacksmith Ferris to get his Hammer in order to make A grade weapon. Head Blacksmith Ferris is locates at east side of Town of Aden.

6. Return Maestro Reorin's Hammer, now he needs his Mold from Trader Zenkin. Trader Zenkin says he sold the Mold to Master Kaspar at Hardins Private Academy.

7. Master Kaspar says in order to get the Mold, you will need to get Baium's blood by using the Pipette Knife that Master Kaspar gives you. To enter Baium's room, you need to get Blooded Fabric from An Arrogant Search quest.

8. Click the Angelic Vertex with Blooded Fabric and enter the room, click on Baium and wake it. Hit Baium with Pipette Knife to collect its blood. Angelic Vertex locates at 12th floor of Tower of Insolence.

9. Return to Master Kaspar and exchange for the Mold.

10. Prepare your class type highest B grade weapon (Without enchant and Special ability.) and 984 B-Crystal and return the Mold to Maestro Reorin. He will reward your class type 2nd A grade weapon and Star of Destiny which is a quest item for Subclass quest.

Sin Eater Quest - The quest starts off in "Hardins Privat Academy" by the Gatekeeper.

Once you port into Hardins you will run strait to the rocks. The 3rd set of rocks you will see a lady standing on top of them her name is the "Black Judge". Click on the quest link and the "Black Judge" will have you go to the "Ivory Tower" and see "Magister Joan".

Port from Hardins to Oran Castle Town, 7.300 adena, then Oran castle Town to Ivory Tower 4.400 adena.

Once your in the Ivory Tower at the Gatekeeper Verona, click the link to go to another floor. Click on the link Elven Wizard Guild 3rd floor. In here you will see Magister Joan.

Magister Joan will send you on a quest. Masister Joan will tell you ... you will need to go to the Sea of Spores and collect 3 Trisalim's Venom Sacks. Then bring them back to her.

Go back to the Gatekeeper and port up to the 1st flood lobby and go out the south gate, then head west "turn right" to the river, go over the bridge and then make a hard right. Follow this ... Note to lower levels don't get to close to the building, I susgest you stay on the hillside and keep traveling along here till you come to the 3rd gate building that will lead you into The Sea of Spores.Run to the left 90* angle and over the burm and there will be the spiders.

Just be carful of the Drakes "Flying Dragons and Monster Eyes".

Within the first 3 spiders you kill you should recive the Venom Sacks. It's pretty easy. Now SoE out before Orfen finds you and squashes you like a bug lol.

Now you will be back in Oren or Ivory tower I forgot what town you go to SoEing out. Go back to the Magister Joan in the Elven Wizard Guild on the 3rd floor and click on the quest again. A screan will come up talking about "Good you have brought back the 3 venom sacks. Dont worry about what the rest of the story says because there is no link in there to do anything. Close the window then click the quest again, then close it there still will not be any links in there.

This part is done.

Now go back to the Black Judge in Hardins Privat Academy. Port to Oren Castle Town 4.400 adena. Hardins Privat Academy 7.300 its cheeper then to Hunters Village then to Hunters then to Hardins Privat Academy. Hunters Village is 8.200.

The Black Judge will have you go to Giran and see Blacksmith Pushkin. When in Giran go to the west gate at the end on the right is the blacksmith.

Blacksmith Pushkin will give you a list to gather for the Manacles of Penitent. You can find all of the parts in Giran for this.

Recipe for Penitents Manacle:

1 Blacksmiths Frame
5 Steel
2 Adamantite Nuggets
10 Silver Nuggets
10 Cokes

When you get all of the parts for the Recipe go to the Blacksmith Pushkin and click on the quest. He will creat the Manacles of Penitent.

Now go back to the Black Judge in Hardins Privet Academe and click on the quest again he will then give you your Sin Eater.

Here comes the fun part... just level up the sineater one lvl and then bring it back to the Black judge and he will take off some of your PK count from 1 PK up to 12 PK's. Leveling up the Sin Eater one level will depend on your lever on how fast it levels up. I leveled mine in one hour. I suggest doing it out of party, the Sin Eater will get all of the XP and you will not recive any. Also carry Rez scrolls for the sin Eater incase it dies and SoE's for porting.

You will also need to get "Wolf food" to feed the Sin Eater.

Strength (STR)
STR is the value that represents how strong a character is. This value has an effect in the following ways.

• Amount of physical damage: Damage from ordinary attacks and physical skills of the player increases as STR increases.

Dexterity (DEX)
DEX is the value that represents how nimble and precise are the body movements of the character. This value has an effect in the following ways.

• Attack speed: Ordinary attacks and casting speed of physical skills increase as the DEX value increases.
• Accuracy: Accuracy increases as the DEX value increases.
• Evasion: Evasive ability increases as the DEX value increases.
• Critical probability: As a rule, this changes depending on what weapon is being used but the critical probability also increases with the size of the DEX value. Because critical probability also has an effect on the probability of success of hitting vital areas when using skills such as Mortal Blow, the probability of success of skills of this type increase as the DEX value increases.
• Shield defense success rate: The shield defense success rate increases as the DEX value increases.
• Movement speed: Movement speed increases as the DEX value increases.

Constitution (CON)
CON is the value that represents how strong or how healthy a character is. This value has an effect in the following ways.

• HP quantity: The maximum HP value increases as the CON value increases.
• HP recovery speed: HP recovery speed increases as the CON value increases.
• Breath: CON has an effect on the ability of a PC to move underwater. The underwater physical strength gauge increases as the CON value of a character increases. The higher the CON value, the slower the HP reduction rate when the character's breath runs out.
• Shock resistance: Resistance to shock attacks increases and the probability of falling into a shocked condition falls as the CON value increases.
• Bleeding resistance: The probability of getting injured and bleeding falls as the CON value increases.

Intelligence (INT)
INT expresses how much intelligence a character has. The strength of magic increases as this value increases. This value has an effect in the following ways.

• Magic Attack: Damage caused when a PC uses damaging magic increases with the INT value.
• Curse success probability: The success probability increases with the INT value when using magic that causes all kinds of abnormal conditions.

Wit (WIT)
WIT is the value that expresses how quickly a character can think and his/her ability to make things happen. As INT is the value that demonstrates the level of understanding, WIT is the value that shows the character's ability to make things happen and the character's mental spontaneity. This value has an effect in the following ways.

• Exceptional damage probability: Exceptional damage can occur at a certain low probability when casting damage magic and the higher the WIT value, the higher the probability that this exceptional damage will occur.
• Magic casting speed: If the WIT value is high when using magic, the magic can be used more quickly.
• Resistance to abnormal conditions: WIT has an effect on one's ability to avoid various kinds of bad abnormal conditions. Abnormal conditions a character doesn't succumb to easily when WIT is high include curses that lower ability values, mental abnormalities (such as Hold, Silence, Sleep, Fear), paralysis, HP reduction magic of the four elements, MP reduction magic, HP recovery speed reduction, and magic that increases the delay for reusing skills and reduces heal effects.

Mentality (MEN)
MEN is the value that represents how strong a character is mentally. This value has an effect in the following ways.

• Magic defense: Magic defense ability increases as the MEN value increases, while the probability of receiving magic damage decreases, as does the probability of succumbing to curse magic.
• MP quantity: Maximum MP increases as MEN increases.
• MP recovery speed: The degree of MP recovery speed is determined by level, race, and MEN. MP recovery speed increases as MEN increases.
• Probability of magic interruption: There is a chance that when a player casts magic and is attacked, the magic that was cast will be interrupted. At this time, the probability that the magic won't be interrupted increases as MEN increases even for magic with higher damage.
• Poison resistance: The probability of succumbing to poison magic falls as the MEN value increases.
