Congratulations to the Australian Dave Muir, the local SUP rider Tama Audibert who took second place, Aaron Napoleon and Heifara Tahutini who finished 3rd and 4th. The SUP World Tour stopover in Tahiti had the best conditions of all the SUP contests so far, with 10ft+ Teahupoo-like waves. Thanks to all the sponsors : He’e Nalu, TNTV, Air Tahiti Nui, GIE Tahiti Tourisme, the French Polynesia government, the FTS, the Waterman League and many more…

In the french pavilion during Shanghai Expo 2010

The France pavilion at Shanghai Expo will showcase Hau Maru Photography during the last two weeks of May at the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai, China. HMP has been selected by the CCISM (Tahiti’s Chamber of Commerce) to illustrate the surf scene in the Focus Area.
The following image, which I called HAPAINA (glass of water in tahitian language) will be displayed on a 4m x 6m wall.

The french pavilion is the second most visited pavilions after the China pavilion.

Maiko Mou grew up eating taro plant roots & mangoes in Papara, on the south coast of Tahiti
