The Midwest Haunters Convention (MHC) offers weekend seminars June 8-9, 2013 in Columbus Ohio at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Six tracks of education are presented: Business, Acting, Makeup, Props/Haunt Design and Home Haunting. The Seminars are instructed by industry experts and serve participants with skills ranging from beginner to advanced levels and backgrounds ranging from haunt owners, actors, makeup artists and Halloween fans.

Ashmore Estates Damage Prompts Urgent Sale

Ashmore Estates, a haunted attraction located in Ashmore Illinois, suffered major damage from a tornado last night. It is owned by Scott, the “Spookmeister”, and Tanya Kelley. They lost the roof of the building, the clown maze, the concessions shed, and a camper. The family and animals are safe.

Canadian Haunted Attractions Conference Announces 2013 Venue & Dates

The organizers of the Canadian Haunted Attractions Conference (CHAC) today announced a venue, as well as confirmed dates, for the CHAC 2013. Following an extremely positive response from the Hamilton community, Matthew Flagler of CHAC today confirmed that the event will be returning to the Hammer.

For the past several years, my father has been fighting a battle with Kidney Disease and Diabetes. He had been hospitalized for the past 3 years after entering the hospital a few days after New Years 2009. Recently in the past few months, his health has steadily declined and sadly, he passed away on December 3, 2012.
