The EVP of Merchandise drives the process to deliver maximum sales and profit in order to nourish business growth.  The EVP of Merchandise recruits and develops talent in buying, planning and visual departments and holds the members of each team accountable for performance. 
 


Oversees all product and category assortment plans and strategies. 

Leads and motivates the buying, planning, and visual presentation teams in order to maximize sales and profit through business and financial planning. 
Partners with the executive management, marketing, and store operations team on presenting the brand to consumers. 

Develop and enhance the Company-s vendor relationships and work with the buyers to maximize those relationships. 

Creates policies, procedures, and standards that are guidelines which the buying, planning and visual teams follow. 

Understands the Company-s customers and anticipates new market trends, improves current categories, and seeks out cutting edge products. 

Challenges department directors and leaders to ensure that financial goals are met and exceeded. 

Manage performance and adjust merchandise plan and forecasting based on retail data. 

Constantly develop the merchandise teams by recruiting new talent and establishing processes in which members can grow and advance within the organization. ]]></description>
