Everything regarding CM Punk's return to action is being kept quiet within WWE. A lot depends on how well his knee heals up but it will be interesting to see if he returns on Monday's RAW from Canada because that was the most recent date officials wanted him back. Punk would need to return soon if he's going to have a match on the June 16th Payback pay-per-view, as planned before.
For those wondering, WWE has no plans to strip Dolph Ziggler of the World Heavyweight Title, no matter how much time he has to miss.

There is still talk of having the ladder match with he, Jack Swagger and Alberto Del Rio, possibly at SummerSlam. This means that these three Superstars will be in the World Heavyweight Title picture for a few more months.

Despite other reports online, there is no backstage heat on Swagger for Dolph getting injured.

While Big Japan Wrestling announced that Sami Callihan would be missing their next tour because he signed with WWE, that is not actually correct.
Sources in CZW indicate that Callihan pulled off the tour because he has a family member that is dealing with a severe health issue and Callihan did not want to be out of the country for 7-10 days while it is ongoing.

WWE has had interest in Callihan for some time but him pulling out of the tour has nothing to do with WWE.

WWE developmental will officially shift over to Winter Park, FL in the beginning of July. We've heard rumblings from one source that there may be as many as 20-22 new signings starting at that point and even some shuffling of developmental staff.
Those being signed to developmental deals have been told they will be reporting to Tampa, FL as of 7/1, which is when the Performance Center will officially open.

In related news, PWInsider.com has also confirmed that California talent Shaun Ricker, who was a top heel for Championship Wrestling from Hollywood, where he was managed by the late Percy Pringle, has signed a developmental deal. He had been on WWE's radar for some time.
SmackDown General Manager Booker T is currently out of action after having elbow surgery.

Booker suffered a torn triceps and had to have the surgery after getting an elbow infection. Because of his absence, the feud with Teddy Long has been put on hold. The injury was described as a freak injury and not ring related. He's expected back on TV around the end of this month.

Backstage Feeling Towards JBL

Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

While WWE officials have been really hot on JBL since returning, which is why he's doing more announcing now, they do want him to work on getting new material. The feeling is that he's repeating some of his material because he's doing more shows now.

News On WWE's Gorgeous George Projects

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, It appears WWE has dropped any plans to do a DVD or feature film on Hall of Famer Gorgeous George. Credit:TMZ

TNA wrestler Austin Aries was hit with a "severe fine" by the organization this week after he went off the script during a recent live event and shoved his man bits into a female announcer's face, TMZ has learned.

The unscripted crotch-thrusting went down earlier this month on "Impact Wresting" ... when Aries became upset at announcer Christy Hemme for calling him the wrong name during his ring intro.

Hemme was clearly upset during the junk attack ... and afterward, she even tweeted about the incident ... calling it "unacceptable."

But sources tell us ... Aries -- real name Daniel Solwold, Jr. -- reached out to Hemme and privately apologized, acknowledging he crossed the line.

TNA also came down hard on Aries and slapped the wrestler with a fine -- it's unclear how much cash Aries will have to fork over.

As for Hemme, we're told she has spoken with TNA officials and told them she was "satisfied" with Aries' apology.

As reported a few weeks back, Paul Bearer is the first name confirmed for next year's Hall Of Fame

WWE's plan has always been for Bearer and The Undertaker to be inducted at the same time so it will be interesting to see if Taker gets inducted next year as well. Apparently there is some consideration.

Another name being considered for induction next year is Jake "The Snake" Roberts.
Chavo Guerrero tweeted the following:

"Great Job @MarkMaddenX for watering down wrestling even more. God forbid that a wrestler breaks out of the typical mold of being so scared to show his personality on TV. U must've been going crazy during the 'attitude era' with every cutting edge thing that Vince did!"

"And for the record, I saw Hemme after that segment, & she didn't look bothered at all. Just saying...I was there."

"I think we should just let Hemme fight her own battles. If she needs help, she'll ask."
The show opened with a Miz TV segment to set up matches for Extreme Rules. By that I mean that it set up matches that didn't include John Cena and Ryback. The guys who were there have a six man match later tonight as Mark Henry, The Big Show and Jack Swagger will take on Randy Orton, Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio.

Tons of Funk beat The Prime Time Players.

Chris Jericho beat Antonio Cesaro in a long match. The fans chanted "boring" at Cesaro. I blame WWE for that. They had a good match and the finish was the Walls Of Jericho. Afterward, Fandango attacked Jericho again but Jericho ran him off.

The Miz beat Damien Sandow. It was pretty competitive.

Kaitlyn beat Aksana to retain the Divas Title.

In the main event, Randy Orton, Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio beat Mark Henry, Big Show and Jack Swagger in a six man match.
NA wrestler Austin Aries is under fire for climbing to the second rope, putting his crotch in front of ring announcer Christy Hemme's face during Thursday's Impact Wrestling television show. Hemme incorrectly introduced Bad Influence when Aries and Bobby Roode were making their entrance.

Aries went to the ring, backed Hemme into a corner, and had his crotch in her face while she delivered the corrected introduction. Hemme was asked about the incident on Twitter and wrote that it was "unacceptable."

Meanwhile, Aries wrote the following on his Twitter page on Saturday: "Pretty nuts, some of the junk people get the balls to say over the net, knowing they couldn't to your face...Eh, anyway, time to sack out

When asked if Hemme was upset with the incident, a source said:

Of course, she was. How would you react? It's one thing if that was set up as a work earlier in the day, and even then our girls would have to reassure our agents over and over again that they would be okay with that spot before it got approved for television." The source added the opinion that Hemme was "technically sexually harassed."
What will happen with the World Heavyweight Title given that Dolph Ziggler is out of commission with a concussion? Who will stand tall between Cena & Ryback in their quest to keep and win the WWE title respectively? Will The Shield be receiving a title shot after their dominance over the past 6 months or so? And will Brock & Triple H face-off in the ring 6 days before their Steel Cage match? Oh, and there's also the dance-off between Fandango and Chris Jericho also coming tonight... Uh-Oh is all I can say on that. Keep it here for the live updates.

According to the preview on USA, the dance-off will start tonight's show and Brock & HHH will be face-to-face as well.

The usual Raw recap starts us off.

Jerry Lawler is in the ring. He says that Jericho will be facing Fandango at Extreme Rules. They recap Fandango's Mania 29 victory. They then announce the dance-off. Introduced first is Fandango with Summer Rae. Then Jericho and his Dancing With The Stars partner come out. Lawler brings up to Fandango how he lost a dance-off to Khali a few weeks back. Fandango says that the crowd there were poor judges and that he'll be the victor tonight. Jericho replies that it may be a dance-off but it's still Raw Is Jericho!! He brings up being the Musical Chairs champion and The Price Is Raw champion in the past. He says he'll be the winner not only tonight, but also on Sunday and Fandango will never, EVVVER be the same again.

Fandango apparently won the coin toss and will be dancing first. Fandango poses as if he's ready, but doesn't even dance to his music when it plays. Wow... great way to waste time on Raw, WWE... he eventually starts the second time around but in the dance, Summer twists her ankle. Fandango is less than impressed and leaves the ring. Jericho and her partner go to check on her, only for Fandango to run back in and attack Jericho. He also throws him into the table and the ring steps outside. He even pulls up a square meter section of the dance floor and hits Jericho with it. He then gets in the ring and turns out Summer was faking her ankle injury. He poses with her in the ring, Jericho down at ringside, before heading to the back.

Later tonight there's a 6-man Elimination Tag match with John Cena & Team Hell No taking on The Shield.

Ryback is backstage, he's going to be in action next.

WWE Rewind with the aftermath of last week's Raw main event.

Zack Ryder is in the ring. Oh dear... Ryback is heading to the ring next.

Match 1 - Zack Ryder vs. Ryback
Squash match. Ryback wins with Shellshock.
WINNER - Ryback

Well, that was memorable... not.

They now do a recap of the Lesnar vs. HHH feud, showing Lesnar attacking HHH last April. They go face-to-face later.

Back from break and Tons Of Funk are finishing their dance in the ring. Their opponents are the Prime Time Players.

Match 2 - Tons Of Funk (Brodus Clay & Sweet T) (w/ The Funkadactyls, Naomi & Cameron) vs. The Prime Time Players (Darren Young & Titus O'Neil)
Short match. Titus O'Neil got a dirty pin with the ropes, with assistance from a hair spray tin from Darren Young to Brodus Clay
WINNERS - The Prime Time Players

They recap Dolph Ziggler's tough bumps over last week, and up next, an announcement will be made regarding the future of the World Heavyweight Title.

Teddy Long is coming out to talk to Matt Striker, Booker T is having surgery, to make an announcement. Zeb Coulter interrupts saying that Ziggler should be stripped of the belt. AJ & Langston then come out saying that Jack should be suspended for causing the concussion. Teddy shuts them up and says that Ziggler will not be stripped, and that Ziggler and Del Rio will now face each other in an I Quit match to become the number 1 contender for Dolph's title. Teddy then also sets up a match for later, with Big E. Langston to take on either Del Rio or Swagger, with the opponent to be decided by WWE app voting later.

Mark Henry's Hall of Pain is up later, where he'll call out Sheamus, as well as the 6-man Elimination Tag match.

Kofi Kingston is coming out to the ring now. He'll be in action next.

Back from break and they recap last Monday's Raw with The Shield attacking him. They then announce that Dean Ambrose will be facing Kofi Kingston on Sunday for the US title... nice move by WWE.

Kofi's opponent is out now, Damien Sandow, who cuts a promo saying that Kofi's time as US champion will be ending soon. Sandow is a 4th member of The Shield? Just kidding...

Match 3 - Kofi Kingston vs. Damien Sandow
Quick little match. Kofi wins with Trouble In Paradise.
WINNER - Kofi Kingston

Mark Henry is backstage now, his Hall Of Pain induction with Sheamus is up next.

Back from break, and Mark Henry is in the ring with his strap. They then recap a strap match from 2004 with JBL taking Eddie Guerrero at The Great American Bash. Josh is in the ring with Mark and they recap Smackdown, with Henry pulling the two semi trucks. Josh asks how he'll use that in the strap match. Henry asks him to put the strap on and he pushes him down and taps all four corners. Josh then manages to get out the ring as Henry lets him go. Henry then says why don't we have it tonight and asks Sheamus to come out. A little time later, Sheamus makes his way out and says he's ready for Sunday. He then makes his way to the ring and gets a strap of his own and they briefly whip each other before Mark Henry flees and heads to the back. Sheamus celebrates in the ring.

Another Lesnar and HHH clip, this time with Brock attacking Vince in January. They go face-to-face later.

Randy Orton will be in action next. They then show a world premiere trailer for 12 Rounds 2: Reloaded.

They recap the dance-off from earlier.

Antonio Cesaro is in the ring now, Randy Orton is out next, another return match from Main Event.

Match 4 - Antonio Cesaro vs. Randy Orton
Short match here. Orton wins with the RKO.
WINNER - Randy Orton

Heath Slater's in the ring with Drew McIntyre & Jinder Mahal. His opponent is then introduced and it's the returning Miz.

Match 5 - Heath Slater vs. The Miz
Decent match here. Miz wins with the figure four leglock.
WINNER - The Miz

Susan J. Komen cancer promo now.

Up next, it's the 6-man elimination tag match.

Another HHH & Lesnar recap, with HHH return to beat down Lesnar.

Justin Roberts introduces the 6-man Elimination tag, Team Hell No come out first, followed by John Cena. Out last through the crowd is The Shield. During the entrances, they announce that Team Hell No will be defending the WWE Tag Titles against Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins of The Shield, which will be a Tornado Tag match.

Match 6 - Team Hell No (Kane & Daniel Bryan) & John Cena vs. The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns)
The first elimination comes with Kane DQ'd for using the top of the announce table on one of The Shield outside the ring. Then Bryan is eliminated after being pinned by Ambrose. Rollins is out next after an Attitude Adjustment, followed by Reigns being DQ'd for attacking the referee. Soon after, Cena gets Ambrose in the STF, only for The Shield members to attack Cena causing a DQ.
WINNERS by DQ - John Cena & Team Hell No

The Shield do their triple powerbomb on Cena, and soon after Ryback's music hits, he comes out and hits Cena on the injured ankle with the Steel Chair.

The WWE App voting for who Langston will face, either Del Rio or Swagger, is underway. I'd say Vote for Pedro.

HHH & Lesnar recap, this time of their Mania 29 match. They Go face-to-face later.

Big E Langston is out as they recap Ziggler's bumps from last week. They then reveal the voting for the opponent and by 65% to 35%, it's jack Swagger, who makes his way to the ring.

Match 7 - Big E. Langston (w/AJ Lee) vs. Jack Swagger (w/Zeb Coulter)
Decent match here, Swagger wins by countout after he throws Langston over the barrier.
WINNER by count out - Jack Swagger

After the match, Ricardo appears with his bucket, but then gets overpowered by Swagger. Del Rio then comes out and manages to put the Cross Armbreaker on Swagger, only for Langston to stop it and then getting drop kicked out of the ring. Del Rio then clotheslines Swagger out of the ring as well. Del Rio & Ricardo celebrate in the ring.

Back from break and Natalya & AJ Lee are in the ring. The Bellas and Kaitlyn are at the commentary position. Kaitlyn's had another present, a Simpsons trivia box... the plot thickens...

Match 8 - Natalya vs. AJ Lee
Not too bad a match. AJ wins with an impressive looking octopus stretch.
WINNER - AJ Lee

Up next, it's the face-off with Brock Lesnar and Triple H.

Back from break and they recap the dance-off from earlier. Matt Striker interviews Jericho, who says that the fun and joking is over, he's dead serious now and focused on taking down Fandango now.

Triple H makes his way out now. The camera then shows that the steel cage is above the ring and is being lowered into place. It looks like the face-off is going to be surrounded by steel, Lesnar will be out after the break.

Back from break and Triple H says once again that the ring is his home and a cage surrounding it brings out the anger and hate. Lesnar and Heyman come out now on stage and Heyman goes to introduce himself, but HHH says to just let Lesnar in the ring. Heyman talks about hate, even mentioning how the word hate shouldn't be used, and also talks about how HHH will hate being the loser on Sunday.

Lesnar & Heyman's music hits to go backstage, but Triple H cuts them off and says that Brock also hates losing, like what happened at Mania. He then says that he knows that Lesnar thinks he's the baddest man in the arena, but Heyman is holding him back, asking Lesnar whether he's a beast or a bitch. Damn. Lesnar then heads to the ring and into the cage and they come to blows. Triple H eventually comes out on top, throwing Lesnar through the closed door, knocking Heyman down to the floor. Lesnar contemplates getting in the ring again, but thinks twice and he and Heyman head to the back and HHH looks on from inside the cage as Raw goes off the air.

A mixed bag of a go-home show for WWE Raw tonight. Make sure you're here next week for all the fallout from the Extreme Rules PPV. Until then...
