Established in 1986, Creekside Center was one of the first organizations to offer a blend of conventional and alternative medicine in the Seattle area. We pride ourselves on treating people as unique individuals, developing a plan of care as a team with the patient using our wisdom of more than 33 years practicing medicine.

For more than 25 years our focus has been on whole person care and since 2006 Dr. Markus has specialized in psychiatry and addiction medicine, integrating medical, psychological and emotional needs into a treatment plan offering a balanced approach to challenges in our patient's lives. He has developed many unique techniques for management of detoxification treatment programs. He is the medical director of a Washington State based medically managed detox facility with 48 beds and 100 residential beds.
