<p>This week, I have an extra bonus for you. I’m out of town this week and will not offer a live interview tonight. However, last week I held a private  interview with  my very good friend  Raymond Francis, the author of Never be Sick Again and Never be Fat Again. He&#8217;s  an MIT-trained scientist and also an expert in vitamins.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s always such a joy to talk with Raymond.  Raymond just turned 73 years old and still feels like he&#8217;s in his 20s, brimming with boundless energy.</p>
<p>So today I’m giving away the interview and  transcript with Raymond Francis so you get a taste of what I offer in the Member area every single week.</p>
<p>We talked about how to reduce your toxic overload. One of the most common of our toxic overloads is processed oil. This is so deadly.</p>
<p><span id="more-7395"></span></p>
<p>I measure them every five years or so. I had them measured just a year ago, and I have my arteries down to age 26 as of last March. My goal is by the time I’m 80 that I will have the arteries of a teenager.</p>
<p>Anybody can do this. We know how to do it. All you have to do is take care of yourself. That’s why I wrote <em>Never Be Sick Again</em>. It’s all in <em>Never Be Sick Again</em>. It tells you how to do it.</p>
<p><strong>Nancy Desjardins: </strong>I have to say it has been one of my favorite books. I highly recommend the book still today. Going back to the age of 20, Raymond, you don’t look your age.</p>
<p>When I saw you two years ago in Toronto, I was floored. You looked vibrant. You sure don’t look your age. You definitely walk the talk.</p>
<p><strong>Raymond Francis: </strong>I definitely do. I exercise. I keep my weight down. I don’t have any excess weight. The important thing is what that does for the quality of your life.</p>
<p>I was out to dinner a couple of weeks ago with some people, and we had to cut dinner short because they had to go home and go to bed because they get tired. They had to go home and go to bed, and they’re younger than I am. They’re in their 60s.</p>
<p>Here I am; I’m going to be 73 in a matter of days, and I have boundless energy. I’m never tired. It’s the quality of your life and to never have a cold.</p>
<p>Have the quality of your life and not go through all that sneezing and coughing and everything else you go through with a cold. You don’t need that in your life. Anybody can do this. That’s the good part. They’re talking in Congress about healthcare reform and insurance. You don’t need healthcare insurance. Just don’t get sick.</p>
<p><strong>Nancy Desjardins: </strong>Exactly. That’s right. This is what we’re going to talk about. We’re going to dive into the information from your book, and also articles you wrote. I have to say, Raymond, I receive your newsletter and I also read your articles weekly, which you email once or twice a week.</p>
<p><strong>Raymond Francis: </strong>Once a week are the NewsClips. That’s free to anybody. Anybody can go to my website, <a href="http://www.beyondhealth.com/">www.BeyondHealth.com</a> and sign up for the weekly NewsClips.</p>

<p><strong>Nancy Desjardins: </strong>What an amazing gift for the general public, but also for us as practitioners. For me, when I do the research, you’re one of the first people I’ll read on specific topics.</p>
<p>Again, thanks for what you’re doing. Raymond, <em>Never Be Sick Again</em> and <em>Never Be Fat Again</em> are the two books that you wrote. They are truly revolutionary books. They have gone all over the world.</p>
<p>They’re changing the way medicine is practiced. You said in your book that there are thousands of different symptoms. You don’t even call them diseases. You also said that there’s only one disease, which is the malfunctioning of cells. Can we talk about that?</p>
<p><strong>Raymond Francis: </strong>Sure. What I try to do is to give people the power to take care of themselves. I have to do this myself. Here I am talking as an expert. I’ll tell you something.</p>
<p>Even though I was highly trained scientist, I got sick and I almost died. At age 48 my death was a medical certainty. Now here I am. I’m going to be 73 in days and I’m the picture of health. It shows you what you can do.</p>
<p>It’s very complicated molecular biology and cellular bio-chemistry. Of course, as a scientist, I was able to wade through all of this and understand and separate the wheat from the chaff and help myself.</p>
<p>It took me two years to restore myself to health after I almost died. I wanted to simplify things so that the average person can take of themselves.</p>
<p>I started looking at what health is. How do you get healthy? How do you get sick? I discovered that it really all comes down to individual cells. We’re all made of these little units of life called cells.</p>
<p>If every cell in your body is functioning just the way nature intended it to function, you can’t be sick. The only way you can be sick is if you cause an enormous number of cells to malfunction.</p>
<p>Billions and billions—hundreds of billions—of cells have to malfunction. The average person has somewhere between 50 and 100 trillion cells. That’s a lot. Let’s say it’s an average of 75 trillion cells.</p>
<p>You have to have hundreds of billions of cells malfunctioning in order to get sick. The more cells that malfunction, the sicker you get. It’s all about cells. Cells malfunction for only two reasons.</p>
<p>Either they’re not getting everything they need to function properly, or they’re getting something that’s interfering with their function. There’s only one disease: a malfunctioning cell.</p>
<p>The cell malfunctions depending on the deficiencies and toxicities. For example, almost all of us are deficient in nutrients today, and we’re all in toxic overload.</p>
<p>The particular combinations of deficiencies and toxicities acting in your body through your unique set of genes will produce all the symptoms we have.</p>
<p>Our doctors, unfortunately, get very confused and think the symptoms are different diseases. Then they try to treat the diseases differently. They are not different diseases.</p>
<p>They are different symptoms based on cellular malfunction caused by deficiency and toxicity.</p>
<p>What you need to do is pay attention to the deficiency and toxicity, remove the deficiency and toxicity, revert the cells to normal function, and then whatever is wrong goes away.</p>
<p>It doesn’t matter whether you have terminal cancer, arthritis or diabetes. It goes away. That’s the power. That’s why you said my books were revolutionary. They are revolutionary because they completely change your understanding of health and disease.</p>
<p><strong>Nancy Desjardins: </strong>Exactly. When we understand this, it’s much easier to start making change. That’s what you did when you got sick. The average North American today is in toxic overload, obviously.</p>
<p><strong>Raymond Francis: </strong>Yes, very much so. It’s to the extent that it’s now catastrophic. In other words, the average person now has enough toxins in their body that are at the levels that cause disease.</p>
<p>Of course, I don’t know if you’ve been following the news, but there’s just new out now about atrazine. A new study was published in the proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences on the chemical atrazine. Atrazine is one of the most commonly used weed killers.</p>
<p>They have now proven that the atrazine actually changes the hormones in animals, like frogs, and turns male frogs into female frogs. Of course, as we know, there’s a massive, catastrophic decline in the frog population all over the world.</p>
<p>They are now saying that it is the atrazine that is most likely causing this. We have an herbicide that’s used in agriculture. It’s used on cornfields. It’s even used on golf courses and residential lawns.</p>
<p>It’s getting into the drinking water. It is in the drinking water. The problem is that atrazine can be transported for hundreds and hundreds of miles in the air from the point of application.</p>
<p>It gets into the air and falls down in the rain. Even in very remote and pristine areas, you have atrazine raining. In fact, in the United States alone, over 200 tons of atrazine fall in the rain every year.</p>
<p>We’re contaminating everything. In fact, in the experiments they just did—and I said that study was published in the proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences—they used 2.5 parts per billion of atrazine, and they were able to get these dramatic changes in the frogs, turning male frogs into female frogs.</p>
<p>It was 2.5 parts per billion. Guess what? They measured 100 parts per billion in the Midwest of the United States falling in the rain.</p>
<p><strong>Nancy Desjardins: </strong>That is absolutely insane. How much do you think we are exposed to on a daily basis? Obviously, we’ve created tens of thousands of manmade toxins over the years.</p>
<p><strong>Raymond Francis: </strong>They have done some studies on it. Food products, personal care products, cleaning products, laundry products and all kinds of things have toxins in them today.</p>
<p>The manufacturer says, “My product only has a little bit of toxin. It’s not going to harm anybody.” Do you know what? They’re pretty much right. The problem is this.</p>
<p>By the end of the day, you’ve been exposed to a little bit here and a little bit there and a little bit there and a little bit there. By the end of the day, you are in toxic overload.</p>
<p>There have been studies done estimating that the toxic load at the end of the day is more than 500 times higher than what we consider to be safe.</p>
<p><strong>Nancy Desjardins: </strong>Exactly, but it’s changing. People are aware because of the books that you wrote. Many other people are trying to help others. Yet, a lot of people still are not conscious about changing their lifestyles.</p>
<p>If you still smoke and drink and eat packaged food all day long, at the end of the day you’ve consumed a lot.</p>
<p><strong>Raymond Francis: </strong>You don’t see it directly. If you drank a Coca-Cola and fell over dead, few people would drink it. The fact that it does a small amount of damage day after day, and that the damage is accumulative, and then 50 years later you get cancer, you don’t think, “Maybe I shouldn’t drink all that Coca-Cola.”</p>
<p>It’s the same way. Even the electromagnetic pollution today is causing disease in cell phone pollution.</p>
<p>However, we don’t see it, so we don’t know it’s happening. The people who are using cell phones are developing brain tumors, but a brain tumor often takes 20 or 30 years to develop.</p>
<p>You’re using your cell phone every day and you don’t get cancer tomorrow so, obviously, it’s safe to use, but it isn’t. What we need to do is to educate people. We can’t go back to living in caves. We can’t turn the clock back.</p>
<p>However, what each of us can do is make different choices on a daily basis that will limit our toxic load. The bad news is this: we are all in toxic overload today.</p>
<p>That’s the bad news. The good news is this: about 80% of that toxic load is under your personal control. By exercising your personal control, you can cut your toxic load by 80%. That is very significant because the body is able to detoxify toxins.</p>
<p>It has a detoxification capability, but the big problem is that we’re overloading that detoxification capability, so we end up in toxic overload. By reducing your toxic load, you can reduce it down to where the body can cope with it, and then you won’t be in toxic overload. It’s bleak.</p>
<p>There are toxins everywhere: in the clothes you’re wearing, in the carpets on your floors, your mattress, and the toothpaste you’re using. It almost sounds insurmountable, but it’s not.</p>
<p>Simply by making different choices on a daily basis, you can drastically cut your toxic load. Then, by taking simple detoxification procedures, such as eating a good diet that helps the detoxification system, eating good supplements that help the detoxification system, and simply by doing other things, you can reduce your toxic load.</p>
<p>Here I am. I already said I would be 73 in a matter of days. I’m in perfect health and I’m getting biologically younger. What I have done is reduce my toxic load to just about zero.</p>
<p><strong>Nancy Desjardins: </strong>It absolutely shows, too. For our listeners this afternoon, we’re also going to dive into Raymond’s research and the supplement kit that he recommends.</p>
<p>Before we dive into this information, can we talk about your ‘Big Four’, which are sugar, white flour, processed oil and dairy? Obviously, those are the toxins that you don’t consume on a daily basis, or probably never.</p>
<p><strong>Raymond Francis: </strong>Right. Let’s take sugar. Sugar is a toxin. It poisons your body. It’s probably one of the most dangerous substances that anyone is exposed to on a daily basis.</p>
<p>We don’t think that way because we grew up with sugar. I grew up with sugar. I can remember that the refrigerator always had ice cream in it. We always had cakes and pies and cookies.</p>
<p>My mother used to make some of the best chocolate chip cookies in the world. We always had candy. Sugar was part of our lives. Indeed, it was part of our celebration of life.</p>
<p>If you have a birthday party, what do you feed the kids? A lot of sugar. If you’re a good kid they buy you ice cream and give you sugar. We grew up with it, but it is a deadly poison.</p>
<p>When you look at what happens in the body after you eat sugar, it is so devastating that I don’t want to touch this stuff. As a chemist, I immediately have in mind all of the chemistry of what happens when you eat the sugar.</p>
<p>I just look at sugar and this picture comes to my mind. I don’t even want to be in the same room with something that dangerous.</p>
<p>It’s like a 100-car pileup on a highway. One teaspoon of sugar is like a 100-car pileup. You are doing so much damage to your body. One teaspoon of sugar—just one—within two hours will lower your immunity by 50%.</p>
<p>Sugar is the leading cause of colds. It’s the leading cause of flu. I don’t get colds. I don’t get the flu. I don’t eat sugar. You reduce your immunity. We live with these germs and viruses. We’re adapted to them.</p>
<p>They don’t bother us. The only time they bother us is when we screw up the equation between us and them. The way to screw up the equation is to damage your immune system, lower your immunity.</p>
<p>One teaspoon of sugar will lower your immunity by 50% within two hours. If you’re eating sugar all day every day, as most people do, no wonder people have so many colds and the flu. Then they get flu shots, so they don’t get the flu.</p>
<p>Stop eating the sugar. You won’t need the flu shot. White flour is the second of what we call the ‘Big Four’. White flour is essentially the same as eating sugar, because when you eat the white flour it very quickly metabolizes in the digestive system.</p>
<p>It gets broken down into sugar. The sugar is absorbed into the blood. Eating white flour is almost the same thing as eating sugar. That’s another thing you don’t want to do.</p>
<p>That, too, will lower your immunity. The average American eats 200 pounds of white flour a year. The average American eats 160 pounds of sugar every year. Do I eat sugar? Yes, I do.</p>
<p>On holidays I’ll have a piece of pie or something like that. At a birthday party I’ll have a piece of cake. I eat probably a half a pound of sugar a year, so somebody else is eating my 159-and-a-half pounds.</p>
<p><strong>Nancy Desjardins: </strong>If you break it down it’s a half-a-pound a day of sugar.</p>
<p><strong>Raymond Francis: </strong>A half-a-pound a day of sugar for the average person, yes.</p>
<p><strong>Nancy Desjardins: </strong>Also, if you look at ADD and depression, if people were to look at their intake of sugar on a daily basis, that would perhaps help them with depression, especially with young kids today. It’s sad to see how much they consume.</p>
<p><strong>Raymond Francis: </strong>It is. Of course, it’s easy to see how much they consume because they’re all fat. Thirty percent of our children are overweight, or more than 30% now. I think it’s a full third of our children; one out of three children is now overweight. They just completed a study on that.</p>
<p>They found that these overweight children have tremendous amounts of inflammation in their bodies.</p>
<p>That means they are on their way to heart disease. They’re on their way to cancer. They’re on their way to massive problems. They’re eating all this stuff and they’re getting overweight. It’s tragic.</p>
<p>They’re sick with asthma and diabetes. Half of all new cases of adult diabetes are in children. Isn’t that amazing? They used to call it ‘adult diabetes’ because it happens to adults. Now, half of all adult diabetes is happening in children.</p>
<p><strong>Nancy Desjardins: </strong>That’s very sad. What’s going to happen? Obviously, our lifestyles are changing, but what happened in the last 25 to 30 years?</p>
<p><strong>Raymond Francis: </strong>It has been catastrophic, absolutely catastrophic. We have to turn it around. The problem is that it’s going to bankrupt us all. Trying to pay for all of this is simply going to bankrupt our governments.</p>
<p>The US government is on its way to bankruptcy. The unfunded liabilities of Medicare in the US are so catastrophic that there’s no way we can ever pay for them.</p>
<p>They are going to bankrupt the government. The only thing you can do is to deny care, which is what they were just trying to do in Congress. They are trying to pass this healthcare reform bill, which essentially was a bill to deny care and to ration care, so as to reduce the costs.</p>
<p>However, the real way to reduce the costs, the win-win way, is to get healthy. Then you reduce the costs and you feel good.</p>
<p><strong>Nancy Desjardins: </strong>Really, it’s not that expensive to keep your body very healthy, especially if you’re investing in good quality supplements, which we’re going to talk about in a few minutes.</p>
<p>That was a good explanation about the sugar and the white flour. You also talk a lot about the processed oil. This is also deadly.</p>
<p><strong>Raymond Francis: </strong>Yes. The Number Three of the ‘Big Four’ is processed oils. You have to understand that we’re going back to the cellular health, all of those trillions of cells in your body.</p>
<p>Each of these cells is like a little water balloon. It has a little membrane around it. In a water balloon, the membrane is made out of latex. We know that. It’s a rubber. In your body, the little membrane is made out of oils.</p>
<p>The membrane is what guides and determines what goes into the cell and what goes out of the cell. All the right things have to go into the cell every moment of every day, and all the right things have to come out of the cell every moment of every day.</p>
<p>You have to really be careful about what goes in and what goes out of the cell. This is automatic if you correctly build the cell membrane.</p>
<p>A correctly built cell membrane will automatically make everything just right. Here is the problem. The cell membrane is made out of oil.</p>
<p>If you eat the wrong oils, you construct the membrane incorrectly, you change what goes in and out of the cell, and when you do that you cause cellular malfunction. Cellular malfunction is what disease is, so you cause disease.</p>
<p>How are we doing with the oils? We are all eating the wrong oils. The result is that we are causing massive amounts of disease. In fact, I am writing a book on how to cure cancer.</p>
<p>Probably the single largest cause of cancer is eating the wrong oils. We could eliminate the cancer epidemic simply by getting people off of what we call the ‘supermarket oils’.</p>
<p>Take a mental trip to the supermarket. Go down the aisle where the oils are. Look at all of those oils. All of those oils are the wrong oils. What does everybody buy every day?</p>
<p>They buy those oils at the supermarket, which are all the wrong oils. The soybean oil, the canola oil, the corn oil, the safflower, the sunflower, the peanut oil; all of these oils are the wrong oils.</p>
<p>They’ve all been processed in ways that alter their molecular structure, making them quite toxic. Again, we’re talking about choices that people can make that can have a huge impact on their health.</p>
<p>Getting off of the wrong oils will have a huge impact on your health and probably make you pretty much bullet-proof in terms of not getting cancer. That’s worth doing.</p>
<p><strong>Nancy Desjardins: </strong>Let’s go back to the type of food we consume. If we get up in the morning and eat a muffin, it’s usually made out of processed oil, flour and sugar. Most likely you’re going to use canola oil because it’s a cheap oil to buy.</p>
<p><strong>Raymond Francis: </strong>Exactly. That muffin you’re having for breakfast is making you sick. People buy disease at the grocery store. That’s where you buy disease. You can go and choose your disease.</p>
<p>Go down one aisle and choose cancer. Go down another aisle and choose diabetes. Go down another aisle and choose arthritis. Depending on what you want, you just go down the right aisle and buy it.</p>
<p><strong>Nancy Desjardins: </strong>That’s right. Raymond, what is your take on dairy products? What about raw milk or just dairy?</p>
<p><strong>Raymond Francis: </strong>Raw milk from a healthy cow is not appropriate for human consumption, but it’s not all that bad either. By the time you get into the highly processed milk that people buy at the supermarket—milk that has been pasteurized and homogenized, milk that has come from cows that were given all kinds of antibiotics and sulfa drugs, and fed corn and other materials that are loaded with pesticides, herbicides, dioxins, and PCB’s—that’s a toxic poison.</p>
<p>Yet, we feed this toxic poison to our children. We don’t know any better.</p>
<p><strong>Nancy Desjardins: </strong>Yes, absolutely. There was also a study you mentioned in your book called <em>The China Study</em> by—what was his name—Dr. Campbell?</p>
<p><strong>Raymond Francis: </strong>Colin Campbell, yes. My friend, Colin Campbell, was a professor at Cornell University. He wrote <em>The China Study</em> and determined very clearly that excessive amounts of animal protein cause disease and cause cancer.</p>
<p><strong>Nancy Desjardins: </strong>You’re not saying to totally eliminate animal protein, but perhaps be aware of the toxicity, so just buy the grass-fed animals.</p>
<p><strong>Raymond Francis: </strong>That’s right. I eat animal protein. In fact, I think from my study of human nutrition, most humans—not all, perhaps—need at least some animal protein in their diet to be healthy.</p>
<p>How much animal protein is appropriate? One egg is about the maximum amount of animal protein you can have in a day.</p>
<p>A piece of fish the size of the palm of your hand, or perhaps organic beef the size of the palm of your hand would be appropriate, but not more than that.</p>
<p>You’ll have people who eat three eggs for breakfast, a hamburger for lunch, and a big slab of roast beef for dinner. Good luck. You’re on your way to massive disease.</p>
<p><strong>Nancy Desjardins: </strong>You mention on your site, as well as in articles, about Vitamin-C. It is one of the most important molecules that you can put into your body, and of course it’s an antioxidant.</p>
<p>Can we talk about that, and also the type of Vitamin-C that we should consume?</p>
<p><strong>Raymond Francis:</strong> Vitamin-C is extremely important. It’s one of the most important molecules you can put into your body. Most people today do not get adequate amounts of Vitamin-C, and this is a cause of all the disease that we’re having in our society.</p>
<p>Most animals make Vitamin-C all by themselves. Humans, guinea pigs and a few primates have lost the ability to make Vitamin-C themselves, so we have to get it from our diet.</p>
<p>We’re not getting it from diet; we’re just simply not getting it.</p>
<p>First of all, the need for Vitamin-C has gone up because we have all these toxins in our environment.</p>
<p>You drive your car on the highway and you’re breathing fumes from other cars that are causing reactions in your body that chew up Vitamin-C. The need for Vitamin-C is the highest it has ever been.</p>
<p>The availability is the lowest because, for example, an orange has Vitamin-C; we all know oranges have Vitamin-C.</p>
<p>If you go to an orange tree, you pick the orange and you eat it, you’ll get Vitamin-C. If you go to the grocery store and buy an orange, do you get any Vitamin-C? A lot of times the answer is none, no Vitamin-C whatsoever.</p>
<p>This is because Vitamin-C is easily damaged, and in the time between the harvesting and the time you buy it, the Vitamin-C is gone. They’ve actually done experiments buying oranges at the grocery store and measuring zero Vitamin-C.</p>
<p>Mom buys fresh oranges and thinks she’s feeding the family Vitamin-C, and that’s not true. Virtually everyone today needs to supplement with Vitamin-C.</p>
<p>That gets you into another problem because almost all the Vitamin-C on the market today is junk. More than 90% of the Vitamin-C on the market today is made in China, and it is not being made correctly. That’s why I make my own Vitamin-C.</p>
<p>If you people want to go get some, they can go to <a href="http://www.beyondhealth.com/">www.BeyondHealth.com</a> website. The Vitamin-C on there, less than 1% of the Vitamin-C in the world is of that quality.</p>
<p>However, that’s what you need for your body. You need very pure Vitamin-C.</p>
<p><strong>Nancy Desjardins:</strong> This one is corn free, obviously. That’s the one I’ve been using for the last two years. I have to say it is a high quality Vitamin-C. They can visit your website at <a href="http://www.beyondhealth.com/">www.BeyondHealth.com</a>.</p>
<p>There’s also a lot of information, It’s very confusing with the Vitamin-D, and you wrote an amazing article in your January and February newsletter called “The Shocking D Deficiency,” and you’ve done some research about that. What is the latest research right now on Vitamin-D?</p>
<p><strong>Raymond Francis:</strong> We’ve learned more about Vitamin-D in the last 10 years than we’ve learned in all of human history. Here’s why. It was only about 10 years ago that we developed good tests for testing Vitamin-D levels in the body.</p>
<p>It wasn’t until then that we could really measure it and see what was going on and then do experiments with it that we could begin to understand it.</p>
<p>Almost everything we know about Vitamin-D we’ve learned in the last 10 years because it was only then we could begin to measure it. Now it’s astounding, just astounding, what we’ve been finding out.</p>
<p>Vitamin-D acts more like a hormone in the body. As it turns out, it controls a vast number of biochemical reactions in the body. It helps to prevent infection, for example.</p>
<p>If you want to stay infection free and not get colds, take extra Vitamin-D. Again, I do that; I take Vitamin-C, I take Vitamin-D, and I never get sick. It helps to prevent cancer.</p>
<p>It helps to prevent diabetes. It helps to prevent heart disease, and it just goes on and on. They even treat multiple sclerosis patients with Vitamin-D.</p>
<p>Here’s a chemical, a hormone-like chemical, that regulates an enormous amount of biochemistry in the body.</p>
<p>What we’re finding now that we can measure it is that almost everybody is short Vitamin-D. Of course, our doctors have been telling people now for decades to stay out of the sun, so everybody is doing that.</p>
<p>Where do you get your Vitamin-D? You get it from the sun. As a result, everybody is Vitamin-D deficient, especially if you live in the north. I live in Florida, and you can get Vitamin-D year round here in Florida.</p>
<p>If you are up in the North country—I originally come from Boston—you don’t get any Vitamin-D about six months of the year. There are not enough of the particular rays that come through the atmosphere.</p>
<p>You just don’t get the Vitamin-D, even if you’re out in the sun. You need to supplement. When I studied this problem I found out that most of the Vitamin-D, again, wasn’t very good.</p>
<p>In fact, a lot of it wasn’t even being absorbed because most of us have damaged our gut tissue. We’ve taken antibiotics, which are very damaging to the gut. You end up with damaged gut tissue that does not absorb the Vitamin-D very well. I had to design a way around that.</p>
<p>What we have is a sub-lingual liquid Vitamin-D. You turn the bottle upside down, put drops into your mouth, and then swish it around in your mouth. Then the Vitamin-D gets absorbed through the mucus membranes. That way, you don’t have to worry about the fact that you’re not absorbing it through the gut.</p>
<p><strong>Nancy Desjardins:</strong> In the summertime when the sun in very strong, do you still recommend taking Vitamin-D?</p>
<p><strong>Raymond Francis:</strong> It depends on whether or not you’re going out in the sun. For example, here I am in Florida. They’ve actually measured people in the middle of the summer in Florida who are Vitamin-D deficient.</p>
<p>The reason is that they’re staying out of the sun because they think it’s bad for them. Even if you’re in a sunny area, you may still need to supplement.</p>
<p><strong>Nancy Desjardins:</strong> Also, we’re using a lot of sunscreen on our skin.</p>
<p><strong>Raymond Francis:</strong> That’s absolutely crazy. Sunscreen is a deadly toxin. There are so many toxins in that. It goes right through your skin and poisons you. There are chemicals in sunscreen that when the sun hits it, they turn into powerful carcinogens. As a result, sunscreen causes skin cancer.</p>
<p>They’ve actually done studies of different sections of the country, parts of the country, different cities, and they find that the cities where the most sunscreen is used have the most skin cancer.</p>
<p><strong>Nancy Desjardins:</strong> That’s amazing.</p>
<p><strong>Raymond Francis:</strong> Isn’t it?</p>
<p><strong>Nancy Desjardins:</strong> Raymond, can we get peek preview of your book on cancer and why you chose to write the book on cancer?</p>
<p><strong>Raymond Francis:</strong> I’ll tell you, I chose to write the book on cancer because I wrote <em>Never Be Sick Again</em>, and we started having people calling us from all over the world saying, “Thank you, thank you.</p>
<p>I read your book and I cured my cancer.” We had people with terminal cancer, who were told that they would be dead within six months, buy the book for $14.95. They went home and cured their terminal cancer. It just happened over and over again.</p>
<p>Finally I said, “I should write a book just on cancer.” Now we’re doing that; we’re writing a book on how to cure cancer, which it turns out is fairly simple to do. Anybody can do it. You just have to tell them how.</p>
<p><strong>Nancy Desjardins:</strong> Exactly, that’s right. I’m sure it’s going to be in simple terms and in an easy format to digest.</p>
<p><strong>Raymond Francis:</strong> It will be very simple to understand. There’s only one disease, and you can call it cancer if you want to. You can call it diabetes. You can call it Alzheimer’s.</p>
<p>But there’s only one disease: a cell that isn’t working the way it’s supposed to. There are times when a cell doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to, and what it does is it will continue to multiply.</p>
<p>The cell just continues to grow, and that’s what cancer is. It’s a cell that just keeps growing. All disease is the result of deficiency and toxicity at the cellular level.</p>
<p>Whether it’s cancer, Alzheimer’s or asthma, it’s the result of deficiency and toxicity at the cellular level. What I found in my research is that cancer is an oxygen deficiency disease; that’s what it is. It’s an oxygen deficiency disease.</p>
<p>It’s a deficiency of oxygen metabolism inside the cell, which forces the cell to change the way it produces energy. That completely changes the genetic programming, and you lose the programming that keeps the cell growth under control.</p>
<p>That’s what cancer is. It’s simple to cure and simple to prevent. All you have to do is make sure the cell is getting all the oxygen it needs.</p>
<p>One of the ways to do that, of course, is to stop eating the supermarket oils. When you build your cell membrane out of the supermarket oils, it inhibits the transfer of oxygen into the cell and creates an oxygen deficiency in the cell.</p>
<p>If you want to buy cancer, go to the supermarket, go down to the oil section, and buy the oil. That’s where you buy your cancer. It’s simple.</p>
<p>Once you teach people what the cause is, then they can eliminate the cause and then revert the cells to normal function.</p>
<p><strong>Nancy Desjardins:</strong> My last question here is about the cholesterol myth. This is a huge topic out there. Cholesterol doesn’t cause heart disease.</p>
<p><strong>Raymond Francis:</strong> Exactly, cholesterol does not cause heart disease, and therefore there is no need to take a cholesterol-lowering drug. Yet, millions and millions of people are taking cholesterol-lowering drugs.</p>
<p>Why? The drugs are very toxic, they do absolutely nothing for you, they do not protect you from heart disease, and they cost a lot of money. Why take them? People are convinced that they should.</p>
<p>The doctors simply don’t know any better because they’re not trained that way. They don’t understand the chemistry.</p>
<p><strong>Nancy Desjardins:</strong> With the supplement, is there any antioxidant kit supplements that you would recommend?</p>
<p><strong>Raymond Francis:</strong> Number one is Vitamin-C. Everybody needs to take Vitamin-C, but you need to take pure Vitamin-C. There again, go to <a href="http://www.beyondhealth.com/">www.BeyondHealth.com</a> if you want pure Vitamin-C.</p>

<p>The <strong>liver</strong>, the <strong>largest organ</strong> that we possess is connected to the small intestine.</p>
<p>It produces a secretion called bile that breaks down our <strong>digestive fats</strong> into smaller pieces, so that they can, together with associated vitamins, be absorbed within the small intestine.</p>
<p>The <a href="http://www.globalhealingcenter.com/health-products/cpcaff.php?ref=171431&amp;url=http://www.globalhealingcenter.com/liver-and-gallbladder-cleanse.html">liver </a>has an important function in this respect and develops its bile from a combination of molecules such as cholesterol, bilirubin, phospholipids, bile acids and also electrolytes.</p>
<p>Most people believe the liver is essentially in place to purge the <strong>damaging alcoholic chemicals</strong> and other <strong>toxins</strong> from our body.</p>
<p>Just as any other machine will start to fail if not maintained properly, the efficiency of our organs will diminish after years of damage.</p>
<p>They will not be able to break down the fats as well and this will automatically lead to weight gain and an inability to do anything about it.</p>

It’s called <strong>“pH.</strong>” Without an in-depth lesson in<strong> chemistry basics</strong>, suffice it to say that pH measures the concentration of <strong>hydrogen ions</strong> in your blood.</p>
<p>The lower your pH, the stronger the acid content, or acidity, of your body.</p>
<p>The higher your pH, the stronger the alkaline content, or <strong><a href="http://www.enerhealthbotanicals.com/?Click=10281">alkalinity,</a> </strong>of your body. A normal <strong>pH balance</strong> hovers around seven.</p>

<p>So, testing your pH will give you a better idea whether your body is more acidic or alkaline.</p>
<p>Just know that being too <strong>acidic</strong> or too <strong>alkaline i</strong>s bad for your body and can lead to many health issues and problems.</p>
<p>Use the <strong>80/20 rule </strong>to maintain balance in your body. Every meal, fill your plate with at least <a href="http://www.enerhealthbotanicals.com/?Click=10281"><strong>80% alkaline</strong></a> forming foods like vegetables, and 20% acid forming foods like meats and white pasta.</p>
<p>You can also look at it this way: 80% of your food should be in raw form, while 20% of it should be cooked.</p>
<p>Try to eat foods rich in<strong> vitamins </strong>and<strong> minerals </strong>such as vegetables, fruits, and tubers such as ginger root, parsnips, sweet potatoes, and so forth.</p>
<p>Add to that baby greens and sprouts. This group also includes, but is not limited to mung beans, alfalfa, lentils, radishes, and onions. Add plenty of salad greens to your diet, including spinach, collard greens, mustard greens, bok choy, and lettuces.</p>
<p>When choosing <a href="http://www.enerhealthbotanicals.com/?Click=10281"><strong>alkaline snack</strong></a> foods, go for those that contain <strong>protein, vitamins, and minerals such as almonds, seed mixes, as well as raw vegetable juices, and raw veggies. </strong></p>
<p>Actually, it’s a matter of maintaining the chemical balance in your body. Basically, the body is balanced much like the water in a swimming pool &#8211; too much acid, and it becomes uninhabitable; too little acid, and you get algae.</p>
<p>Now this isn’t to say that you’re going to <strong>sprout algae </strong>or unleash a volcano of sulfuric acid if you’re unbalanced, but your body does need to maintain that<br />
equilibrium in order to stay fresh, clear, and disease free.</p>
<p>You wouldn’t want to swim in a cloudy or green pool any more than you would want your body to be all “gunked up.” Love your body and treat it with care, and you, in turn, will experience a healthy life, which is rich with energy and vitality.</p>
