&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Times,'Times New Roman',serif;"&gt;Place oil in casserole and heat on HIGH power for 40 seconds. Add ginger, garlic, chilli, fenugreek seeds and turmeric powder and cook on High power for 2 minutes.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Times,'Times New Roman',serif;"&gt;Add potatoes (diced) and 1/4 cup water a dish. Cover it.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Times,'Times New Roman',serif;"&gt;Cook on HIGH power for 6-8 minutes.Stir in between.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Times,'Times New Roman',serif;"&gt;Add dried fenugreek leaves, chat masala and dum aloo masala. Now cook on MEDIUM power for 5-7 minutes till the potatoes are cooked.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Times,'Times New Roman',serif;"&gt;Add salt to taste and sprinkle with fresh chopped coriander before saving.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;

Grease the dish for dhokla. Now add soda bi-carbonate salt, and beat till the mixture is smooth.&lt;/div&gt;

Method&lt;/h2&gt;

Sprinkle figs and dates on top. Cook uncovered on MEDIUM for 10-20 minutes, giving the dish a quarter turn every 3 minutes.&lt;br /&gt;

If not done, cook on HIGH for 30 seconds to 2 minutes or till surface is nearly dry.&lt;br /&gt;
