We enjoyed this fresh mango juice from Antonio’s yesterday during a dinner with hubby – his treat before we went to watch a comedy show at CB. Hubby and the lil boy likes fresh mango juice and this is often the drink that they order and share. But since the lil boy was not with us last night, so he and I shared this instead. I could not drink a lot of this but I truly enjoyed it.

On a much ligter note, I read that there are three magical phrases for women and they are:

• I love you!
• You lost weight!
• Lets go shopping!

I wanna greet all women out there a… Happy Woman’s Day!!!

I have to admit watching American Idol this season 9 makes it more interesting to have someone like Casey James. Casey is not just my fave among the American Idol Season 9 top 24, there is also Crystal Bowersox whom I am impressed with her natural talent in singing and playing instruments though her first live performance did not impress me much.

Going back to Casey, I hope he makes it to the the top of this season. As Kara calls him eye candy and ear candy, and whom another judge Simon Cowell said they were both cursed with good looks and that the last performance where he sang Heaven was the best performance he had per Simon. Well I look forward to seeing more performances from Casey in Idol.

To be wiser and happy, one advice is to spend more time with people over the age of 70 who are probably wiser in life, and under the age of six who are most probably make you most happy. So what does it mean to be spending time with people between these ages given? But what I know is that very young kids are often more carefree and happy. I miss being young and I miss talking to my nephews whose wonder in the world we live in makes you just smile and laugh at most times.

I just thought about this because I suddenly feel a little sad and need some wise thoughts to help me decide on something that I have been thinking of. Sometimes don’t you just wanna be carefree like these young kids yet as wise in life as the elderly.

I truly miss this place! Going through my photos, I saw this photo of the sky at a sanctuary of endangered species here in our city. This was taken during sunrise one early morning. I want to go back to this place and have another shoot. But it is not open to the public yet as far as I know. Obviously it is to protect those endagered species kept in this place as well as the mangrove located towards the left side from which I took this shot then.

This is such a beautiful place to go for a sunrise shoot. I would love to go back here and enjoy my time looking at the sky early morning.

Finally got new black shoes called Monobo which I got from the Feretti store in the mall. I am not that particular about shoe brands and it is actually the first time I heard of Monobo but I am most after comfort and this black Monobo shoes I bought yesterday afternoon are really soft and comfortable for daily use and every day walking. It has been more than a year since I bought closed shoes for myself though I more often use sandals and flipflops or slippers in walking as they are more comfortable for me. Since I have not been working in an office anymore, I opt more for soft and comfy shoes or slip ons.

It is time for another Ruby Tuesday and here is a red stuffed toy bear with the words “I Love You”. I found this in my photo files a few days ago and so I remember I would use this in this post. I was looking for something like this last Valentine’s day but could not find one around here. Wish a loved one would give this or better I’d be able to give this to my loved one.

Presenting our lil boy’s McDonalds Happy Meal toy the blue Tamagotchi Makdotchi Express. It is his second toy from the Tamagotchi set. We dropped by McDonald’s yesterday before going to church and he insisted on this blue toy which he chose for himself from the Tamagotchi toys on display. Happy blue Monday to all!

Hope we can complete the toy set for this Happy Meal but that means having to bear eating the Happy meals which am not that up to eating lately. But for the lil boy’s happiness then maybe we can try bearing having to eat the McDo Happy Meals.

It is another Thankful Thursday and a another good time to give thanks with our heart’s delight to the Lord:

• I am thankful for my eldest nephew’s birthday yesterday and for the guidance you have given him up to this day. Protect him oh Lord from any bad influence that the society may try to put in his life.
• I am thankful always for my family who is ever there to support, love, care for us and help us in what way they can.
• I am thankful for friendships that I have found in fellow stay-at-home and work-from-home moms that I have met online and this play an important role in helping me “survive” the challenges of being a SAHM/WAHM.
• I am thankful that the Lord is giving me more patience and comfort when am down and tired.
• I am thankful for my lil boy’s laughter, smiles and giggles when we wake up in the morning, any time during the day and at night time before we go to sleep.
• I am thankful for my lil boy’s care, love and concern for me that sometimes surprises me and more importantly touches and sometimes tugs my heart as a mother.
• I am thankful for the happy moments shared with my two boys that hopefully will never be forgotten ever. May there be much more happy times to remember throughout our lives.
• I am thankful for my sisters support and care for me when I call them. They never neglected or rejected me ever.
• I am thankful for me mom’s and dad’s prayers for me and my boys. They are ever ready to be there for us when they know I need their help.
• I am thankful for hubby being there still though at times he can me my toughest challenge when it comes to being patient in life.
• I am thankful for all the blessings that come to our lives that continues to pour into our lives as a family.

We will be forever grateful Lord!!!
