There is of course nothing at all wrong with doing this as these places are truly magical, especially when travelling with children, however, there is so much more of beautiful Florida to be explored from your Orlando base. By driving around Orlando you are able to able to unlock some of the true treasures and sights that are only a few hours’ drive from the city itself. If you are flying into the city car hire Orlando Airport is probably the best place to pick up a car and get around.

Firstly, Florida is as famous for Disneyworld as it is its sumptuous beaches. 100 miles west will land you at what is arguably the state’s most beautiful beaches at Clearwater and St. Petersburg. The total serenity of the faultless white sand and crystal clear waters of the gulf are something truly to behold. En-route you can take in the city of Tampa which is packed with activities for both adults and children alike such as the nearby Busch Gardens theme park in Tampa Bay, the Museum of Science and Industry, The Florida Aquarium and Adventure Island.

From Clearwater, let Interstate 275 take you across the bridge over Tampa Bay to another popular destination on the Gulf Coast – Sarasota. The drive down to Sarasota in the warm Florida sunshine will quickly indicate you to the sheer magnificence of western Florida. Sarasota itself is perfect for the culture vultures out there thanks to the number of museums, superb restaurants, shops, nightspots, theatres and more. The beaches here are also to be marvelled at, likewise the opportunities open for the outdoor types, with golf, tennis and water sports always popular.

The adventure continues from here with a two-hour drive on Interstate 75 to Naples. Again, the possibilities are endless. As well as the truly stunning beaches there is also an excellent zoo and boat tours to Marco Island to busy yourself with. Naples also boasts many pretty parkland areas simply to relax in.

Stopping at Naples perfectly breaks up the journey as you head for the unforgettable Everglades National Park. This internationally-famous World Heritage Site is the home to crocodiles, manatees, 350 species of birds, 300 species of fish and has the largest mangrove ecosystem in the Western Hemisphere!

After this adventure, get yourself back to civilisation by visiting the unmistakeable city of Miami. Go to South Beach, visit the art deco buildings, laze by the beach, enjoy cooking from around the world or go on a shopping spree; Miami is a true one-off.

As the journey heads north back towards Orlando there is still much to discover and enjoy. Fort Lauderdale for example is famous for its canals and waterways, plus the Florida Riviera is always on hand should you be ready to get yourself back on the beach! In fact there is almost 190 miles worth of golden sand to spoil yourself with (including sumptuous Palm Beach) until reaching Kennedy Space Centre, where you will be bowled over at the incredible feats achieved by America’s space program and be able to see shuttles from past missions, artefacts and also the devastatingly huge hangar where the next shuttle for launch is being prepared.

This leaves you just 44 miles from Orlando, or if you’re still not tired of the beach; Daytona is just 80 miles north!

Waikoloa Beach Resort on the Big Island of Hawaii

The Waikoloa Beach Resort is the best spot to vacation on the Big Island of Hawaii. From swimming with the dolphins to romantic dinners, it has something for everyone.
The city features many museums, over 5000 restaurants, and is home to multiple major-league sports teams.
It would be ridiculous to assume you could experience all of Toronto in a single visit, or even in an entire lifetime, but there are a few places that are very popular, and would be considered must-see attractions. Here are a few places that you should plan on visiting:

The CN Tower – this is Toronto's tallest structure – one of the tallest in the world - and one of the most popular tourist attractions. Standing at over 550 metres, the tower attracts more than 2 million visitors every year and has become a symbol of Canada. It features a glass floor and observation deck, where you can see the city from a whole new perspective, 342 metres above. Also on the main deck level is a revolving restaurant, which completes a full rotation every 72 minutes.

A sports game – it wouldn't quite be a true Toronto experience without attending a professional sports game. Toronto is home to teams from nearly every major league sport including basketball, hockey, and baseball, as well as lacrosse, football, and soccer.

The Royal Ontario Museum – the ROM is the largest museum of natural history and world culture in Canada, and the fifth largest museum in all of North America. Over 1 million people visit the museum's over 6 million items, and because of its popularity, it has seen 3 expansions, the most recent completed in 2007.

The Toronto Zoo – the zoo hosts over 5000 animals and is open year-round to over 1 million visitors per year. Over 10 kilometres of trails and 287 hectares of land allow visitors to tour through all continents of the world, offering amazing experiences for adults as well as children.

Entertainment District – these 8 city blocks of Toronto have nearly every type of entertainment you could want. With dining choices from bars to bistros, steaks to international delicacies, and dance clubs, music venues, the CN Tower and Rogers Centre, and many hotels and shops; this district has something for everyone.

These are just a few of many, many places you can visit in Toronto. Among other popular destinations is the nearby theme park, Canada's Wonderland, a boat tour around nearby islands, Toronto Island Park, Roy Thompson Hall, and the Eaton Centre. Toronto's highly multi-cultural population offers something for everyone.

Toronto is a very easy city to travel to and around. It is the connection point of 3 major highways, has an international airport, and is accessible by train as well. The city itself is also very accessible by public transit systems like buses and streetcars, but taxis are available if and when you need them. When you get to the downtown area, though, most everything is accessible by foot, featuring an underground walkway system called PATH for those that enjoy an underground experience, or in case the weather is not favourable.

Find Hotels in Toronto

Finding Fun in a Cabo Vacation

Cabo is located on the Baja California Peninsula, Mexico. Whereas American football and baseball dominant the sports headlines in the US, European Football garners all the attention of European sports enthusiasts, particularly in Spain.

One of the best ways to immerse within a new culture is to become knowledgeable of the new culture. While you can't learn everything about every place you visit, spending a little time learning about a country’s passion can go a long way in making a good impression and a few new friends on vacation. Football is a great sport to learn about as it's an easy way to strike up a conversation with almost any Spaniard. To help you out, here are the basics you need to know about football in Spain.

First off, football is the most followed sport in Spain. In the same way that rowdy fans passionately cheer for their preferred football team in the US, football fans in Spain do the same. Spend an afternoon at a professional football game in Madrid or Barcelona and you’ll quickly learn just how passionate fans can be.

The Liga de Futbol Professional (Professional Football League) is one of the most successful football leagues in all of Europe and is split into two divisions. The top, ultra competitive division is called the Primera Liga and consists of the best football clubs in the country. This league currently includes teams such as FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Athletic Club de Bilbao, Atlético de Madrid and a few more clubs.

The Segunda Division is the second tier league in Spain. However, don’t be fooled into thinking that this league is any less exciting to watch. The Segunda Division consists of 22 teams fighting for a spot ion the Primera Liga. The action is hot and the stakes are high as teams fight to advance to the upper division.

Prior to visiting Spain, it'd be a good idea to watch the headlines to get updates on the progress of teams in the Liga de Futbol. Pay close attention to the top teams like Real Madrid and FC Barcelona as they are most liked and controversial clubs in the leagues. A match-up between these two teams is similar to that of when the NY Yankees and Mets battle it out in the subway series. You can easily start a conversation, or argument, about the merits of each of these football clubs with just about any Spanish football fan.

Whether you're a big fan of sports or not, attending a football game in Spain will help you to connect with the culture in ways that sightseeing and your hotel concierge cannot. Add a little knowledge of the sport to this experience and you’ll certainly feel more involved and in-touch than you otherwise would.

From Hotel to History - Touring Barcelona by Bicycle

Boasting the second largest population of any other city in Spain, Barcelona is certainly not an exemplary city when it comes to reducing environmental impact. However, Barcelona does have a number of programs already in place and others that are on the way which aim to reduce the amount of pollution for which this popular tourist destination is responsible. A fairly efficient public transportation is just one way Barcelona city managers hope to cut back on unnecessary pollution. Another more controversial effort that is being made is with their efforts to become a more bike-friendly city.

Barcelona city has promoted the usage of bicycles throughout the city in a couple different ways. First off, bike lanes have been put in place in some of the main sections of the city. Separate bike lanes have historically proven to encourage bike usage simply because riders feel a little more safe being separated from the regular flow of cars and buses in the streets. In addition to bike lanes, a number of solutions for bike storage have also been proposed and implemented to address peoples’ fear of getting a bike stolen or not being able to find a parking space when they arrive at their destination.

In 2007, Barcelona also implemented a fairly controversial bike-sharing program available to all residents. This program again was after other similar programs in other cities throughout Europe. The program works like this; registered riders can pick up a bike at any of several hundred bike stations and ride for up to 30-minutes without a charge. When the rider arrives at his or her destination, the bike needs to be returned at any other bike station. Thus far, the program has been fairly successful. A few quirks in with the availability of bikes are being dealt with but overall, the program seems to be working.

Unfortunately, the bike-share program is not currently available to tourists but the city’s other efforts to become more bike-friendly are starting to effect tourists, too. Several bike tour and bike rental companies offer tourists a cheap alternative to public transportation. Since Barcelona has become fairly bicycle-friendly, many tourists find that bicycle tours and rentals are a safe and fun way to explore the city, especially in the late summer months. Guided tours typically provide visitors with everything they need for a brief 3 hour tour. Many of these tours cover several attractions in just a short amount of time, leaving time at each attraction for a quick break and chance to take photos.

Bike rental services are also becoming more popular in some of the more popular hotels in Barcelona. Typically, guests can arrange for a bicycle, gear and tour map from the concierge. This is often the most convenient way for tourists to see the city as they can leave directly from their hotel.

As with any public service project, the success or failure of Barcelona’s bike programs will be guided by the public’s reaction and utilization of the program. For now, it looks like the positive response will drive the government to expand its greening efforts and hopefully encourage other cities to follow suit.

Le Reve Review

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_yKcd7m-f-8M/Sdz1yAqnOMI/AAAAAAAAAE8/T9jnNiQ9gLs/s320/le+reve+3.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5322399099166079170" />
I had the pleasure of seeing Le Reve last weekend at the Wynn in Las Vegas and was quite taken by the whimsical approach to the famed spectaculars from Franco Dragone. I’m not a regular to the theater and have only seen 2 other cirque du Soleil shows before. I saw Mystere years ago which was my first introduction to the acrobatic, sensual style of movement from Cirque du Soleil and then I saw O at the Bellagio more recently which was on a completely different level. If O was ethereal and mystical, then Le Reve would fall into sultry, dark and sensual...teasing the senses with hints of eroticism in the dancing and movement.

The show is a mix of comedy, lust and the mystical underworld. If you are scared off by mystery and demon-like creatures this may not be the show for you. I happen to be enthralled by darkness and loved the play between the good and evil and passionate dancing. Because the show is literally portraying a dreams it seems to jump without a transition from theme to theme without warning but it works.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 274px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_yKcd7m-f-8M/Sdz1c7M57cI/AAAAAAAAAE0/RTI9gh2nluo/s320/le+reve+1.jpg" border="0" alt="Le Reve"id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5322398736922045890" />If you are a fan of Dragone you are in for a treat. Unlike O, there is Latin influence in the dancing and I loved the passionate tangos performed. The circular stage rises up and down with splashes of water emphasizing the strike of every precise step. In one scene a beautiful fountain rises from the pool of water and the male dancers take turns ravaging their women and then diving off into the water only to come back for more. Your breath will be taken away by the beautiful dancers and creatures soaring through the sky flipping, twisting, turning and leaping in and out of the water with precision and beauty.

The icing on the cake was ogling at the chiseled perfect bodies of all the dancers causing me to feel a bit guilty for downing a bag of caramel corn. I would highly recommend Le Reve when you are in Las Vegas next. I was there for a bachelorette party and it fueled our fire for a night of fun!

Photo Credits: Top Photo, Bottom Photo

Kid-Friendly Las Vegas Thrills

When you think of Las Vegas, the first that probably comes to mind is gambling, followed by the notorious “sin city” name that was dubbed many years ago. One thing to consider before heading off to fun land is the purchase of a Las Vegas PowerPass. The PowerPass offers a sampling of the best twenty things attractions and adventures in Las Vegas. The pass can also save quite a huge chunk of change in admission costs.

*Click on any photo to view original source.

Choosing Exotic Honeymoon Packages

Every couple sits down and day dreams of their perfect wedding and their perfect honeymoon. Included in these dreams are people, wonderful food, dancing, and then off to a place of peace, sleeping on white linen sheets under a hut in the middle of nowhere with locals bringing plates of food and plenty of drinks.

Months go by and the couple has finally finalized the wedding, cutting out many of the items they dreamed about along the way. Now, they can’t even think about planning the honeymoon and the funds aren’t as grandiose as they once dreamed. One option may be to hold off on the honeymoon until a few months after their wedding. By this time they might not have the vacation time or the energy from settling in together. If the honeymoon is really important, there is a good option. A honeymoon registry is a good option where friends and family of the newlyweds contribute to the cost of the honeymoon as a wedding gift. Signing up for a honeymoon registry allows the newlywed couple to focus on the important things, like which destination to choose.

Exotic Travel Destinations

Africa has become a very popular place to go for honeymooners. There is so much to do and see there. Discover Africa by vehicle, boat, on foot, by horseback, or elephant. Some tours even offer tours from the air by hot-air balloon or privately-chartered plane. Choose to visit Egypt & Jordan to see the great pyramids. Or have an organized safari adventure.

Asia has a world of culture to experience. These authentic cultures can be discovered in India, Cambodia, China, Japan, Singapore, Nepal, or Sri Lanka. Destinations like these are unlike any other. There is sophisticated shopping, lush forests, and temples to explore.

Central America is where the beach goers have fun in the sun. A restful honeymoon that has some adventure is in Belize. It’s a rare place that is unspoiled and little developed. It has the least amount of inhabitants in Central America. Explore the Maya mountains for a few days and then rest by the shallow waters of the Caribbean Sea. The seclusion is what draws honeymooners.

If these options sound at the least bit interesting, then research on travel companies and book right away. A lot can happen in a few weeks and months, such as a hike in gas prices can put a damper on package deals. Booking honeymoons right away also gives a peace of mind and the wedding can be the focus. Experience the majestic destinations that the world has to offer.

Must-See Museums of Madrid

As the capital city of Spain, Madrid is considered to be a cultural center while also boasting the liveliest nightlife in all of Europe. Throughout the city, visitors find medieval architecture, monolithic cathedrals and museums housing artifacts and art work from around the world. One could easily spend weeks in Madrid and still not cover all the notable museums so here’s a list of the most notable of all the Madrid museums:

El Museo del Prado
Since 1819, El Prado has housed artwork from some of the most notable artists in the world and is considered to be the largest art gallery in the world. With over 1,000 paintings and several thousand other drawings, prints, sculptures and other pieces of art, el Prado acts as a Mecca for art lovers worldwide. Notable artists whose work you’ll find here include Rafael, Rembrandt, Bartolome Bermejo, El Greco, Hans Memling, Diego Velazquez and many, many more. The most notable pieces of artwork include Las Meninas (Velazquez), Decent of Christ from the Cross (Weyden) and The Annuntiation (Angelico).

El Prado is open 6 days per week while remaining closed on Mondays. Tickets are fairly cheap (around $10 for adults) or free (weeknights from 6-8 and Sunday from 5-8). For about $50 per year, a membership can be purchased allowing unlimited access to the museum. Group rates and tour guides are also available for an extra fee.

National Archeology Museum
There’s no better way to learn about the archeological history of Spain than with a visit to Museo Arqueologico Nacional. The main collections which can be found in the museum include Prehistory, Settlers, Egypt, Greek and Rome, Modern Age and Coins & Medals. Additionally, the National Library is part of the museum.

The National Archeology Museum is open from 9:30-8:00 Tuesday-Saturday and on Sunday from 9:30-3:00 and is closed on Mondays. Currently, there is no charge to access the museum and weekdays are the best time to avoid the crowds. Group tours are also available for an extra fee.

There is no doubt that the many other museums, galleries and attractions are worthwhile visiting points on any trip to Madrid. However, if your time and short and you want the most bang for your buck, consider El Museo del Prado and the National Archeology Museum as your first choices. Within these two museums, you’ll be exposed to highlights of the artwork and history of Spain and from around the world.

The Boneyard

The strip has undergone some dramatic changes through the years. The people who lived in Las Vegas before the Strip became known as Sin City will recall the dawn of the neon signs. Bright, flashing lights flooded the streets as hotels, mega-resorts, and casino’s began to blossom along Las Vegas Boulevard.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 213px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_yKcd7m-f-8M/Sb7Tz4MVBjI/AAAAAAAAADs/z6MS4g_C0bo/s320/boneyard.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5313917498554648114" />

Some will recall the yesteryear that was the Golden Nugget, Binion’s Horseshoe, and the Silver Slipper. Once these buildings were demolished, the signs were rescued and left for viewing pleasure at what is now known as the Neon Boneyard. According to the boneyard’s website, “The Neon Museum’s mission is to collect, preserve, study, and exhibit neon signs and associated artifacts to inspire educational and cultural enrichment for diverse members of our international community.”

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 234px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_yKcd7m-f-8M/Sb7T6vNZd9I/AAAAAAAAAD0/NixCGlhNbfw/s320/boneyard1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5313917616402298834" />

The collection is unparalleled and can be viewed through private walking tours. Situated on three acres, these signs are sure to impress. Tours are offered Tuesday through Saturday, twice daily. Be sure to check their website as the times for these tours change throughout the year. Could you imagine a walking tour during high noon under the beaming Las Vegas sun? Neither can the tour operator which is why they choose to change the time.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_yKcd7m-f-8M/Sb7UB7pqu_I/AAAAAAAAAD8/ouoOxUPd9mY/s320/boneyard+2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5313917740001180658" />

Las Vegas is rich in history and seeing how far the city has come in terms of its neon propaganda is truly amazing. No trip to Las Vegas would be complete without seeing the amazing feat that was once Las Vegas. Of course not. In the midst of a desert this city boasts some of the most beautiful greens in the country. Las Vegas is quite an expansive city; however finding a golf course right along the strip is not as difficult as one may think.

Like the themed hotels along Las Vegas Boulevard, Bali Hai Golf Course transports visitors to another world full of lush tropical foliage. The course features seven acres of water hazards, 4,000 trees and 100,000 other tropical plants. Located on the south side of the strip, Callaway is a par-three course with a Golf Performance Center and Golf Shop. If you would rather work on your swing and avoid a long day of golf, grab your clubs and head to their 100-stall driving range.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 163px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_yKcd7m-f-8M/SZH2kT7tfZI/AAAAAAAAAC0/o3A2gIEhT94/s320/boulder+creek+golf+cource.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5301289340078226834" />
Photo Credit

The last course situated on the Strip is the Wynn Golf and Country Club. Designed by Tom Fazio and Steve Wynn, this course takes golfing in the desert to a whole new level. This 18-hole, Par 70 features actual elevation changes not see in the other Strip courses. Over 800,000 cubic yards of dirt were moved to create the 45 feet of elevation on the course. Along the course are 100,000 shrubs, two marshlands, and roughly 1,200 trees. The centerpiece of the 18th hole? None other than a 37-foot waterfall.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_yKcd7m-f-8M/SZH2rXoYAeI/AAAAAAAAAC8/8sKep9JuNNk/s320/wynngolfclub12.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5301289461329953250" />
Photo Credit

There are other courses throughout Las Vegas; however these are the only ones you will find on the Strip. Be prepared to pay a hefty fee. The Wynn Golf and Country Club green fees can run up to $500 while Bali Hai starts at $200. The old cliché saying “everything is bigger in Texas” rings true in this region that spans more than 350 miles from its northern to southern border. There is something about the vibe that Texas gives off, whether you are in a busy city or a more laid back farming locale. The Prairies and Lakes region has endless activities to offer, both in the city and in the country. You are sure to find something for everyone on your trip.

Dallas, Texas has been the center and heart of many famous movies and films. It is no wonder, considering Dallas is one of the largest cities in the entire country. A city this grand deserves all of the attention it is given. Dallas is filled with fun and exciting attractions like the Sixth Floor Museum, the Dallas Zoo, the Dallas Museum of Art, and many more. Another great place to see is Fair Park, home to the fantastic State Fair of Texas. The State Fair is held every fall in September and October in true Texas fashion. Located in the Prairies and Lakes region with Dallas, Fort Worth is the opposite of Dallas. Here you can tour the largest honky tonk in the world, Billy Bob’s Texas. If that isn’t cowboy enough for you, take a tour at the Stockyards National Historic District. Here you will find the Stockyards Collection & Museum, which gives a great view of history. The Fort Worth Zoo is fun for the family, with over 200 native Texas animals. Another unique and fun activity in Fort Worth is the National Cowgirl Museum

Waco, Texas is located in the southern part of the Prairies and Lakes region. Psoriasis sufferers from around the globe flock to this exotic locale year after year to experience the unique healing abilities first hand. The Dead Sea is so well known for healing that there are many products available that have Dead Sea salt as an ingredient. The Dead Sea has the highest level of salt and minerals in a body of water in the entire world. There is said to be two and half pounds of salt for every liter of water.

The Dead Sea is known as a healing location for people with all kinds of ailments. People with skin disease, such as psoriasis and eczema sufferers, frequent the Dead Sea often. However, the Dead Sea is said to relieve many other ailments, such as arthritis, rheumatism, asthma, and more. By spending time floating in the sea, patrons can relax and take in the healing qualities. The minerals offer a natural relaxation effect. If you are not a swimmer, do not fret about floating in the water. The unique combination of minerals and a high salt content will help you float without any effort.

The Sea itself does not work alone in providing a unique, therapeutic destination for travelers. The atmosphere of the area is literally relaxing. The air is rich with minerals, such as bromide, that gives a relaxing feeling when inhaled. There is also about 8% more oxygen in the air around the Dead Sea than any other place on earth. This is due to the elevated barometric pressure of the Dead Sea air and the surrounding area. More oxygen gives way to better breathing, which is great for asthma sufferers. It also helps that the air is pollen-free and unpolluted.

There are other natural elements of the area, besides the Dead Sea itself, that are beneficial. The shore of the Dead Sea is dotted with naturally heated sulphur pools. Many take a soak in these unique pools to stimulate circulation in the body. Once your circulation is stimulated, the oxygen level in your blood will be encouraged to increase. The Dead Sea is also the only place in the world where one can soak up the sun virtually worry free. The undisturbed area’s atmosphere, combined with an evaporation layer, filters out most bad ultraviolet rays, making for a virtually sunburn free experience.

The Dead Sea’s signature black mud is another reason travelers flock to the unique locale. The black mud of the area is a combination of organic elements found on the shoreline, Dead Sea minerals, and mud. Covering yourself in the one of a kind mud has therapeutic and cosmetic benefits. The black mud offers cleansing and stimulation of the skin, which will give a healthy glow. The mud is also known to relieve tension, both emotional and in the muscles. Combine that with improved blood circulation and rheumatic pain relief and you can’t say no to the muddy wrap!

The Dead Sea offers many great reasons to travel to the exotic locale. Travelers will experience activities that cannot be experienced anywhere else. Whether you are coming for health reasons, or just to have a unique vacation, you will not be disappointed with the Dead Sea.

Las Vegas' Night Scene

Along the strip, the dance clubs are just as famous as the five-star casinos and hotels. In a city of guilty pleasure, what better way to satisfy your dance fever than to hit up one of the many nightclubs that line Las Vegas Boulevard.

Blush

Having a little pink in your cheeks is not always a bad thing – at least that is what the owners of Blush would like us to believe. Located inside the Wynn Las Vegas, this boutique club prides itself on excellent service, excellent music, and an over-the-top atmosphere that entices the senses. The space is lit up with 300 individual color-changing lanterns hanging from the ceiling and art graces the walls. The floor is a feat in itself; made with lit onyx the space is literally glowing from top to bottom. Inside, music from House favorite D.J. Mighty Mi vibrates throughout the dance floor. Outside, a patio houses additional seating, a bar, and when needed in the winter – heat lamps.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 224px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_yKcd7m-f-8M/SWyyFfe2MLI/AAAAAAAAACU/ECVVmt74MrM/s320/blush.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5290799469673459890" />
Photo Credit: Bachelorette Vegas

Tryst

If you are looking for an outdoor oasis, then look no further than Tryst. The second of the Wynn nightclubs, Tryst is an outdoor (but indoor) masterpiece. As you enter, directly ahead will be a giant waterfall, viewable from most places inside the club. Yes, I said it – a waterfall inside Tryst, inside the Wynn. D.J. Justin Hoffman spins the latest Top 40, hop-hop, mash-ups and house music while you tear up the dance floor or sit at one of the many tables surrounding the lagoon.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 180px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_yKcd7m-f-8M/SWyxj1cSLyI/AAAAAAAAACM/rfQrYsyPe_w/s320/Trist.jpeg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5290798891452739362" />

TAO

If you are looking for an Asian-inspired night, then you are in luck. It is no wonder it is popular with its beautiful weather and picturesque skies. San Francisco is home to The Golden Gate Bridge, one of the most famous bridges in the world. It is also the location of The Bay Bridge, another beautiful piece of architecture instantly associated with San Francisco. On the other end of the spectrum, San Francisco’s famous landmark Alcatraz is a frequented tourist attraction.

The Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco has been the backdrop to many famous movies, television shows, photos, and more. At 1.7 miles long, it is easy to see why such a beautiful piece of architecture would catch the inspiration and heart of so many. The Golden Gate Bridge was named for the body of water it crosses over, the Golden Gate Strait. It is hard to believe such a large bridge has been standing since it opened in 1937. This is due to the careful planning that went into the construction of the bridge. It took about ten years to plan how to suspend the massive bridge. The suspension consists of two 750 foot towers, two 7,000 foot cables, and 70,000 miles of wire. Once it was started, it only took about four years to construct the $33 million Golden Gate Bridge.

Named the seventh wonder of the world in 1955 by the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Bay Bridge is the longest high-level bridge in the world. Completed in 1936, the Bay Bridge connects San Francisco and Oakland at an astounding 8.4 miles in length. The Bay Bridge is actually a combination of two bridges, connected through a tunnel on an island in between Oakland and San Francisco. The San Francisco side of the bridge is a suspension bridge, where as the Oakland side is a cantilever bridge. The bridge is one of the most heavily used in the country, and about a quarter of a million people a day cross it. Driving across this bridge takes a while and the speed limit is fairly low, so it is perfect for taking in the beautiful San Francisco scenery minus the city crowds.

Alcatraz is probably the most famous federal penitentiary in the United States. It is actually the site of the first ever lighthouse on the West Coast in the U.S. In 1934, Alcatraz became the infamous prison it is known as today, housing some of the country’s most dangerous and notorious convicts. Al Capone was a prisoner here, and in 1963 the prison was cleared out of all of its inmates. Today, Alcatraz is a very famous tourist attraction where you can tour the infamous “claustrophobic” 9 by 5 foot cells. You can also check out the jails commons, such as the mess hall and the library, that were frequented by the inmates. Alcatraz is now part of San Francisco’s Golden Gate National Recreation Area.

Top 5 Ski Destinations

Whistler, Canada – Many skiers quickly come to associate Whistler, Canada with great skiing. This is a great place to go, especially if you are travelling for New Year's for the first time. Pack into Times Square with thousands of others, New Yorkers an visitors, to watch the ball drop at midnight. If you can't get into Times Square, no worries - there is always a party on New Year's Eve in New York. And no one throws a better party than a New Yorker!

2. Sydney, Australia: Australia is known for it's lavish New Year's Eve celebrations, and usually pulls in a million people to the party each year. Just like the ball drop in New York City, the New Year's Eve party in Sydney is the biggest party of the year! The fireworks show put on by the Aussie's is truly spectacular. Located on the Sydney Harbour, the fireworks reflect off of the water for a beautiful and breathtaking show.

3. New Orleans, Louisiana: Home to Mardi Gras, it is no surprise that New Orleans is a fantastic place to find yourself at the stroke of midnight. Though it seems there is a party going on every night, New Year's Eve is like a one-night Mardi Gras. The Sugar Bowl players will be in town and ready to play, so expect excitement in the air. If you are a party person, this is where you want to be on New Years Eve. Did someone say beads?

4. Rio, Brazil: Brazil is known for beautiful models, beaches, and a hot, steamy nightlife. Combine this with a New Year's Eve celebration and you get a summer party that spills out onto the beaches. Millions, upwards of 5.5 million to be exact, gather to celebrate the birth of a new year. Copacabana is breathtaking under the illumination of thousands of candles. No need for sweaters and bulky clothes here. The summertime heat calls for little more than something lightweight and sexy.

5. Honolulu, Hawaii: Hawaii is one of the most popular vacation areas in the world. Even in the midst of a party, there is something very serene about the whole scene.

Whether you bring in the New Year down under or under the steamy starlight, you are sure to have one unforgettable night.

Dubai Hotels - Burj Al Arab

Dubai has become a regular subject of many documentaries and news stories. This is no surprise when you consider how massive the latest hotel and resort project is in Dubai. The group of manmade islands, created solely for a resort-atmosphere, is breathtaking when viewed up close and through satellite view. The sheer engineering that went into the Dubai hotels is amazing. There are few places in the world that required such ingenuity. One of the most outstanding creations to come from this resort plan is the Burj Al Arab Hotel.

The Burj Al Arab Hotel is currently the world’s tallest hotel that is open for business. During the Dubai hotel building, there were other hotels that were taller but were not completed. This is still true today, leaving the Burj Al Arab to hold the title. The Burj Al Arab is not only tall, it is
one of the most luxurious hotels in the world.

As with the rest of the new Dubai hotel creations, the Burj Al Arab was literally built from the ground up. The islands in the new Dubai resort area are almost exclusively manmade. This is also true for the island that the Burj Al Arab is on. The island is about 920 feet off of the main beach called Jumeirah beach. The only thing connecting the hotel to the beach is a private bridge, which makes access to the hotel even more exclusive.

The Burj Al Arab’s design was meant to mimic the look of a boat sail, and it is easy to see the resemblance. The massive asymmetrical structure houses some elaborate and beautiful features. The Burj Al Arab houses the world’s tallest atrium. At 590 feet tall it is truly a breathtaking architectural feat. The structure is so uniquely shaped it seems as if it shouldn’t be able to stand at all. The remarkable beauty of this unique structure lends it to be a building forever a symbol of the new Dubai.

To accompany such a vision, hotel rooms boast a unique and fresh interior design layout. The furniture itself is very architectural and modern. Bathrooms are beautiful and luxurious with mosaic tiling, giving it a spa-like feel. The beds are large and luxurious, which is no surprise given the other luxurious accommodations. With only 202 rooms, there is still a private feel to an otherwise sprawling hotel.

The Dubai hotel Burj Al Arab not only is a great place to stay, it is also a great place to eat. The restaurant Al Mahara (The Oyster) has a massive sea water aquarium that holds more than 1 million liters of water. The restaurant is accessed through a simulated submarine voyage. Al Mahara, whose chef is Kevin McLaughlin, was voted one of the top ten restaurants in the world. Al Muntaha (Highest) is accessed via a panoramic elevator and offers a beautiful view of Dubai.

Dubai has been on a mission since the mid nineties to create a beautiful and luxurious resort area. The Dubai hotels are quickly becoming a much desired location to stay on vacation. The Burj Al Arab hotel itself is creating buzz amongst avid travelers. Book your room and prepare to enjoy the manmade lap of luxury.

Burj Al Arab Elevator

Burj Al Arab Interior View

Atlanta - Big City Fun

Atlanta, Georgia is an abundant city, home to many wonderful places and attractions.
