I wonder either it is me who cannot explain properly or the person who I am going to talk about is an idiot.

Phone conversation:

Me: Ah, XXX, what you want?
XXX: I want to format my PC jor. got many virus.
Me: Oh, got Install CD ma?
XXX: Got, last time you give me the one lor.
Me: Ok. So, now, put in the CD and restart the computer. Then later when you see press anything to boot from CD. After gimme a call again.
XXX: Sure.

Elapsed time: 30 seconds… XXX called back.

XXX: Cannot Restart la dei!
Me: Why cannot restart?
XXX: There pop up something says “Welcome to Microsoft Windows XP”. So, I click install Windows XP then…
(I stopped him)
Me: Eh, did you hear what I said just now? I say put the CD and restart the PC, not asking you to install.
XXX: So, now installing, then how? (feel like shooting him)
Me: If you want clean install, you need to use my method, using your method will end up having the same virus wandering around.
XXX: Install got clean and no clean de meh? I thought can install means no virus ade? (ARGH!!!!)
Me: Ok, now, I give you 1 option, switch off the PC, unplug everything and send it to the technician, and remember to pay them for reformat.

1. I fail in my school exam. and it is just 2 more months before my trial. I wish to get into a good university.

2. I do not have proper Internet connection. I had a fight with my brother. My elder brother is now paying for the Internet, which I am supposed to pay. So, no Internet.

3. I'd made up this decision when I couldn't even answer a very simple question in the exam.

4. Retiring here means, I would be refrain myself from going on-line till after STPM. Which means around 5~6 months from now. After that I will be back.

5. I am sorry. I cannot risk my future.

How fast our internet can be in the year 2010?

According to a source from Utusan and The Star, it's 10Mbps! Well, this is what comes into my mind... Previously, they said that they will roll out 4Mbps but only covers certain area. This is so ~~WTF~~ gay! Below are the original news from the newspaper.

Menurutnya, ia juga secara tidak langsung mewujudkan sehingga 135,000 peluang pekerjaan baru menjelang 2010.

Kata beliau, aplikasi e-kesihatan juga dapat dilaksanakan dengan lebih berkesan kerana pesakit boleh berurusan secara dalam talian dengan pakar perubatan tanpa perlu bersemuka melalui persidangan video.

“Bagi golongan petani dan nelayan, mereka misalnya boleh menyemak harga hasil tani secara dalam talian dan memasarkan hasil pencarian secara terus tanpa menggunakan perkhidmatan orang tengah,” jelasnya.

Beliau berkata, pengguna juga kelak hanya memerlukan beberapa saat sahaja untuk memuat turun dokumen bersaiz 10 Megabait (MB) berbanding lima minit sekarang.

Mengulas lebih lanjut, Shaziman berkata, jika dahulu perkhidmatan bekalan air dan elektrik merupakan faktor utama untuk menarik pelaburan, kini perkhidmatan jalur lebar pula menjadi keperluan asas.

Beliau berkata, keputusan itu diambil memandangkan kadar penembusan jalur lebar negara iaitu 18 peratus, amat rendah berbanding negara-negara maju di Asia seperti Singapura (78 peratus), Hong Kong (80 peratus) dan Korea Selatan (93 peratus).

“Pembangunan jalur lebar terbaru ini menyasarkan penembusan jalur lebar bagi isi rumah sebanyak 50 peratus menjelang 2010 dengan nilai pelaburan keseluruhan sebanyak RM11.3 bilion,’’ ujarnya.

Shaziman menambah, peningkatan penembusan jalur lebar juga merupakan pemangkin yang mampu mencetuskan pertumbuhan ekonomi daripada segi peningkatan Keluaran Dalam Negara Kasar (KDNK).

“Hasil penilaian awal daripada aspek sumbangan ke atas KDNK ialah RM6.68 bilion atau satu peratus pada tahun 2010,” katanya.

Beliau berkata, bagi memenuhi aspirasi tersebut, usaha-usaha perlu ditumpukan dalam memastikan perkhidmatan jalur lebar disediakan kepada orang awam dan mengenal pasti kawasan-kawasan yang berimpak tinggi.

Menurutnya, projek pembangunan berkenaan akan dilaksanakan secara berfasa-fasa dengan peruntukan awal hanya melibatkan fasa satu meliputi 1.3 juta premis dengan pelaburan kerajaan RM2.4 bilion, manakala bakinya oleh Telekom Malaysia Berhad ™.

Kata beliau, pembangunan itu dibahagikan kepada tiga zon dengan Zon 1 diliputi infrastruktur jalur lebar berkelajuan tinggi (HSBB) dan jalur lebar orang awam (BBGP) bagi kawasan berimpak ekonomi tinggi seperti Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru dan Timur Laut Pulau Pinang.

Zon 2 pula merupakan kawasan yang diliputi dengan infrastruktur BBGP sahaja, manakala Zon 3 meliputi luar bandar yang tidak ekonomik, bertujuan merapatkan jurang digital dan memerlukan pembiayaan dana Pemberian Perkhidmatan Sejagat (USP), katanya.

Kerajaan, kata beliau, memutuskan untuk menumpukan dua kategori iaitu BBGP pada kelajuan 2 megabait sesaat (Mbps) dan HSBB pada kelajuan antara 10Mbps dan 1Gbps memandangkan pelan pembangunan pelaksanaan jalur lebar ke seluruh negara dijangka menelan belanja RM56 bilion.

Menurut Shaziman, bagi jalur lebar kategori HSBB di Zon 1, ia akan dilaksanakan secara usaha sama antara kerajaan dan TM memandangkan syarikat berkenaan memiliki 95 peratus infrastruktur komunikasi sedia ada.

Bagi liputan untuk orang awam di Zon 2, jelasnya, majoriti inisiatif peluasan jalur lebar akan diteruskan di bawah strategi-strategi sedia ada termasuk galakan persaingan antara teknologi wayarles seperti generasi ketiga (3G) atau Capaian Paket Pindah Turun Berkelajuan Tinggi (HSDPA), WiMax dan talian tetap.

Katanya lagi, cadangan kos projek bagi membangunkan infrastruktur HSBB dalam tempoh 10 tahun akan datang berjumlah RM15.2 bilion.

Billion-ringgit boost for broadband

KUALA LUMPUR: Telekom Malaysia Bhd ™ and the Government are spending a total of RM15.6bil to ensure that the country will have a top-notch, competitive high-speed broadband infrastructure in the next decade.

The benefits of having such a facility for the people and the nation are expected to be worth many times that amount.

High-speed access to the Internet will provide a boost to telehealth facilities, Energy, Water and Communications Minister Datuk Shaziman Abu Mansor said yesterday.

Patients anywhere in the country, and especially in rural areas, will be able to get specialist attention via medical systems connected to the Internet.

In the same way, children could also be educated via Internet-enabled systems that would allow teachers and students to interact despite being hundreds of kilometres apart.

Malaysians would also benefit from better access to e-government services, such as being able to pay utility bills, renew licences, file tax returns, and even lodge police reports online more efficiently.

Farmers and fishermen will have instantaneous information, such as current market prices and demands.

“They will be able to check the market price of their produce directly and no longer need depend on middlemen,” Shaziman said.

Having high-speed broadband would also create 135,000 jobs because it would help spur local digital-content creation and attract foreign direct investments.

“Foreign investors now always scrutinise a country’s broadband speed when they decide on whether or not they want to do business with the nation,” said Shaziman.

Broadband speed in South Korea is now 1,000 megabits per second (Mbps) and it is the same for Hong Kong, with Singapore expected to reach that target by 2015.

Malaysia’s broadband speed ranges between 1Mbps and 4Mbps, in comparison.

The high-speed broadband initiative will be rolled out in two phases.

Phase 1 is the building of the infrastructure and rolling out of broadband services to 50% of households by 2010.

TM expects to start work on the high-speed broadband infrastructure by December.

The task will include upgrading copper phone lines to fibre-optic cables.

I remembered very clearly last year. They (TM) could not even provide a decent 512kbps to my house, but now they talk about 10Mbps! Hey, are you talking CRAP? You (TM) screw with me as my area couldn't even have 512kbps. Now, you can only provide 1Mbps to my house and now giving out 10Mbps?

I think they should be given NATO Tag, "No Action, Talk Only". This is so true! Most of the area in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor area couldn't even get a 2Mbps or 4Mbps connection which (TM) offered last year. Please, I urge, stop fooling us, the netizen. We are unlikely to trust this news, show it and prove it and don't just talk only!

Besides that, can you really download 10MB in just 5 minutes with TM 1Mbps? Especially with torrent files? I hardly agree. Yes, unless you prove it that you can give us an uncapped 10Mbps. I highlight again, uncapped. There is no point giving out 100Mbps where you cap our downloads to 5Kbps. Maybe by then, those developed country would be getting 10000Mbps. Sigh~! How far can we go?

Enough or Not Enough?

LHDN (Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri) Declaration for Computer

As we all know, Malaysia LHDN allowed a total of RM3,000 tax relief on new computer purchases. However, tax relief for a new computer is only deductible 3 (Three) year once. So, I would like to pinpoint this. As we all know, the world is moving fast. Computer today may be junk tomorrow. Therefore, a computer may not fulfill our needs if we were to wait for 3 years to purchase new computers.

What is the weakness here?

1. Having more than 1 child
Let's say you have more than 1 child and you wish to let your child to be a computer savvy. So, RM3,000 relief would not be enough especially for three years. If we were to have more than one child, the computer may wear and tear faster which leads to a shorter lifespan.

2. Laptop and Desktop
You might need a laptop and a desktop. This will allow 6 years of tax relief for each. This means 3 years for laptop and 3 years for desktop. If you are kind enough to wait, then go ahead.

3. How about assemble it yourself?
There are people who are computer savvy would think of assembling the computer themselves as they know what they need for their computer. So, does this count into tax relief as computer parts?

4. Outdated
Nowadays, computer industry are growing fast. Starting from my old junk, Pentium 3 to Quad Core, there had been 8 generation difference. So, don't you think that my computer is totally outdated? So, unless you think that you can survive for 3 years, you can do it!

Conclusion: I hope that the Inland Revenue Board Malaysia (LHDN) will consider a tax relief for computers every year or tax relief for computers according to the number of child.

5 Reason not to use Ad Blocker

This is not to discriminate any Ad Blocker available on the net. This article is written just for information purposes. I am referring to all Ad Blocker for all supporting browsers.

5 Reason not to use Ad Blocker

1. Free Content
Why do we enjoy free content from the internet now and then? This is because there are people who took their precious time to write, to share content and to publish articles. So, certain writers would love to use the advertisement to generate revenue as their extra pocket money. So, when you Block the advertisement, no count can be made and no advertisement means no revenue.

Why are we torturing people who are contributing to the world?

2. Near to clean sites
Since the original purpose of using an Ad Blocker is to block websites with multiple advertisement and very little content. So, why bother to block a site which only has one or two ads around the site? I supposed it won't slow down your internet speed. If it does, it is time to upgrade a better broadband package.

As for image banners, it is done as the way it is and it just take a few KBs of bandwidth. Why you can open a full image site but not sparing a banner? So, it is wise to judge a clean site and a site which is full of advertisement.

3. Broadband - The future of Internet
Unless you are using a 56k modem which I have no comments about, you might be using a broadband. Broadband which I assume that speed is not a matter. Since speed is not a problem, loading a few advertisements won't take you a longer time to load. Therefore, unless you encounter a bad site which is filled with deadly advertisement and pop-ups, there is no need to use Ad Blocker.

4. Honey, I shrunk a few KBs!
I supposed all advertisement company are aware that advertisement loading speed are supposed to load very fast. Not loading them might save you a few KBs but it is not advisable because you will not help the advertising company nor the publishers.

Internet is about give and take and vise versa, and sharing is caring. A publisher give and you take and all you can do to give is by not blocking the advertisement. However, not everyone publishes for revenue as it may be just pure interest.

5. You are reading in an advertisement enabled site
This is true and I don't deny about it here. HeHeHunter's Talk is currently serving Nuffnang ads and Google ads. Which means, every single click on the ads is my revenue. I am not telling the readers to click on the ads just to help me but, if you are interested into that advertisement, it is no harm either. I am trying my very best just to minimize the amount of advertisement in my blog. So, you can stop worrying about slow loading time. Therefore, let us not to use Ad Blocker unless the site has an uncontrollable amount of ads.

Data from Columbia disk drives survived the shuttle accident
Jon Edwards often manages what appears impossible. He has recovered precious data from computers wrecked in floods and fires and dumped in lakes. Now Edwards may have set a new standard: He found information on a melted disk drive that fell from the sky when space shuttle Columbia disintegrated in 2003.

"When we got it, it was two hunks of metal stuck together. We couldn't even tell it was a hard drive. It was burned and the edges were melted," said Edwards, an engineer at Kroll Ontrack Inc., outside Minneapolis. "It looked pretty bad at first glance, but we always give it a shot."

During Columbia's fateful mission, the drive had been used to store data from a scientific experiment on the properties of liquid xenon.

Most of the information was radioed to Earth during Columbia's voyage. Edwards was able to recover the remainder, allowing researchers to publish the experiment in the April issue of a science journal, Physical Review E.

That led Kroll Ontrack to share details of its salvage effort.

Columbia broke apart during re-entry into the atmosphere on Feb. 1, 2003, killing its seven astronauts. The shuttle had been damaged at launch by foam insulation that fell off an external fuel tank.

Like other Columbia debris, the mangled disk drive turned up in Texas. It was six months after the disaster when a NASA contractor sent the drive to Kroll Ontrack, which specializes in data recovery.

Edwards had reason for pessimism. Not only were the drive's metal and plastic elements scorched, but the seal on the side that keeps out dirt and dust also had melted. That made the drive vulnerable to particles that can scratch the tiny materials embedded inside, destroying their ability to retain data in endless 0s or 1s, depending on their magnetic charge.

However, at the core of the drive, the spinning metal platters that actually store data were not warped. They had been gouged and pitted, but the 340-megabyte drive was only half full, and the damage happened where data had not yet been written.

Edwards attributes that to a lucky twist: The computer was running an ancient operating system, DOS, which does not scatter data all over drives as other approaches do.

After cleaning the platters with a chemical solution, Edwards used them in a newly built drive. The process - two days from start to finish - captured 99 percent of the drive's information.

Edwards was gratified.

And to drive home just what a long shot his recovery had been, he later had no success with two other drives found in Columbia's wreckage. Blasted by the unfathomable furnace of entry into the atmosphere, their metals had lost the ability to hold a magnetic charge.

She is a woman who cannot forget!

Jill Price, 42, can remember every part of her life since she was 14 but considers her ability a curse as she cannot switch off.

She described her life as like a split-screen television, with one side showing what she is doing in the present, and the other showing the memories which she cannot hold back.

Every detail about every day since 1980 - what time she got up, who she met, what she did, even what she ate - is locked in her brain and can be released to come flooding back by common triggers like songs, smells or place names.

Mrs Price, a widow who is a school administrator, sometimes struggles to sleep because the vivid memories crowd her mind and stop her relaxing.

Her condition is so rare that scientists had to coin a term for her condition - hyperthymestic syndrome from the Greek thymesis, for remembering, and hyper, meaning well above normal.

For years she remained anonymous, referred to only by initials in scientific journals while experts at the University of California-Irvine tested her ability.

Mrs Price said her memory started working overtime after her family moved to Los Angeles when she was eight and from the time she was 14, in 1980, she can remember absolutely everything.

Neuroscientists say a trauma such as moving the family home can trigger major, lingering changes in the brain, especially in children who cling to memories of how their life had been. Mrs Price said: "Some memories are good and give me a warm, safe feeling.

"But I also recall every bad decision, insult and excruciating embarrassment. Over the years it has eaten me up. It has kind of paralysed me."

Mrs Price was so worried by her condition that in 2000 she asked neuroscientist Professor James McGaugh, a world expert on memory, what was wrong. She wrote to him: "My memory is too strong. It's like a running movie that never stops.

"Most have called it a gift. But I call it a burden. I run my entire life through my head every day and it drives me crazy!"

Professor McGaugh spoke to her and was astonished.

He said: "You could give her a date picked at random from years ago and within seconds she'd tell you what day of the week it was, and not only what she did but other key events of the day."

From the age of 10 until she was 34, Mrs Price kept a daily diary, which allowed scientists to check events as she remembered them now against what she wrote down at the time.

Mrs Price, who has written a book called The Woman Who Can't Forget, blames her vivid memories for many years of depression.

Professor McGaugh has since discovered five other adults with similar powers and 50 more "possibles".

He said MRI scans indicated their brains were a slightly different shape to normal.

Two other patterns have emerged. Mrs Price and three of the other five are left-handed and they all compulsively collect things like TV guides, old films and theatre programmes.

Today my friend discussed with me about my blog. She said that my blog is to IT-ish. Sigh, that is what I am best in by the way.

Therefore, I plan to create another blogspot account. Do you think that this is a good idea? I hope so.
Back to my life...

I wonder either Mr. Gopal knows that I blog. He is so funny today. I bring a pair magnetic something that will buzz a sound when put together. Then he took it and say that, this must be a symbolic item. Because:

I am an IT Brigade, wear grey pants, whereas Michelle wear grey skirt and the magnetic something is grey.
When it is put near to each other, it will pull each other, similar to our relationship. LOL!
This is a symbol that we won't leave each other.

I had lunch at McDonalds with the Upper 6 Kensett gang while Michelle is doing Biology practical. Well, they come out with chatting... Talking crap out of their life. Suddenly, Janice and Wen Chean come out with an idea on playing with the straw. Turn turn turn and shoot. BAM! Dar... funny thing about this game is... when I hit Wen Chean's thumb. LOL! When it come to my turn, she take revenge ( dunno either she did it on purpose or not... )

Next, Hwang Hsien ( did I spell her name correctly? ) and Ken Kent play with the toy, I think it is the very old Happy Meal toys. Two robots. One is like playing acrobatics... ( wonder if the robot will get backache.. ) and is more like a rapist, running to you like an idiot. Ha Ha Ha!!!

A day with Windows Vista

I installed Windows Vista Ultimate today. It was a pleasant experience because by default, my computer cannot support Windows Vista at all! You will be surprised that I install Windows Vista on a Pentium 3 PC with 512 SD RAM with a GeForce 3 Ti 200 Graphics Card.

Actually, I am just using a LITE version of Windows Vista. However, it runs well on my computer. Response was fast compared to my teacher's Windows Vista. (Generally, the teacher is using C2D)

The installation was a breeze, just 30 minutes for a complete install, similar to the installation of Windows XP.

When I logged in, the first thing I did was... Check the space available in my hard disk. To my surprise, it just took 2GB for the install.

I think I can install Vista into eeePC! Why not? I have a 4GB solid state HDD and the installation will just take up to 3GB in size after installing drivers and some basic needed functions.

Pentium 3 dude...

I LOL'ed to myself and say, I must review this. After installing some programs and tweaks, settings, and etc, I end up with 3GB disk usage. I checked the Physical Memory Usage, 300 MB++ is being used! Well, I have a 512 RAM with pagefile on. That wouldn't be a problem.

Took a 3GB space for installation

Driver installation was one of the most funniest part for Windows Vista. Vista did not detect a driver for my 3Com 3C900-COMBO Ethernet PCI Adapter, My GeForce 3 Ti 200 Graphics Card - it generally say that it is just a graphics card, and my Audio Controller.

So, I need to look for 3 Drivers.

Driver 1: 3Com 3C900-COMBO Ethernet PCI Adapter
I just visit 3Com website, and found out that they do not supply a driver for my Windows Vista. What a filthy company... Duh, I must admit that my Ethernet adapter was way too old for the year 2008.

I downloaded the driver for Windows XP. Unzipped it. Then I go to 'Update Driver Software' > 'Browse my computer for driver software'. Then I showed the path to the Driver Folder and click next. To my surprise, it detected it as a driver! ^^ So, I completed my first step, GET TO GO ONLINE.

Driver 2: GeForce 3 Ti 200 Graphics Card
Well, when I visited http://www.nvidia.com, I couldn't find a driver for my graphics card! Too old it seems, GeForce 9800 GX was one of the latest one. Compared to my graphics card, it is like comparing "chocolate" and "shit"! Enough of mumbling, search for the driver goes on.

I search back for my old Installer CD and found the universal driver for Nvidia Graphics Card, Forceware V93.71 for Windows XP and Windows 2000. Another time to test it out... I run the installer, they copied all files to my C Drive and prepare for installation. BUT, it come out an error stating that my operating system is not supported!

I wish to give up at first, but I didn't. : ) I take my time to figure out the solution. I go to 'Update Driver Software' > 'Browse my computer for driver software'. Then I showed the path "C:\NVIDIA\Win2KXP". I am surprised for the second time... My Graphics Driver is installed!

Driver 3: VIA AC'97 Audio Controller
Somehow, I hate myself for using this audio controller. I checked out VIA's website and get to know they provide drivers till Windows XP. ^^ I downloaded the driver for Windows XP. Unzipped it. Then I go to 'Update Driver Software' > 'Browse my computer for driver software'. Then I showed the path to the Driver's Folder and click next.

It come out an error stating that there are no drivers for it! Sigh! Which means the method I use for the first two Drivers doesn't work smoothly on the third one.

HeHeHunter's Equation 1: No Audio Controller = No Music = No Life.

Argh!!! I'd went so far but this stopped me. But this is not the end. Remember Pentium 4 Audio Drivers? - Realtek Driver! I remembered and swiftly to Realtek's website. I found the driver for Windows Vista 32bit. Download it and use the same tactic above. It works!

I couldn't update my Windows Vista just to check out the functionality of Windows Update because the download server for Microsoft was down. Therefore, I didn't get the latest Windows Live Messenger 8.5. I am using 8.0 for my Windows Vista currently.

Today, I am being asked to tell the difference between a laptop and a notebook! I am not surprised if I don't know how to answer them. Sigh~~!

"What is the difference?" I asked myself. Thinking... Thinking once, thinking twice and thinking thrice... I gave up. Since they are just noobs, I say it's the same~! (Now, I consider myself as a noob)

Most people use the terms notebook and laptop computer interchangeably. BUT it's not the same.

How to tell the difference?

The Notebook Computer
A standard notebook has the following features:

Ultralight. Less weight is better.
4 - 5 hour battery life.
No internal floppy drive.
Minimal graphics subsystem.
No internal DVD or CD system.
12" - 14" TFT screen.
Low profile (thin).
Integrated modem and network connection.
Smallest possible keyboard that retains functionality.
Low power consumption Celeron/Centrino or Sempron style processor.

Now I know that the eeePC that I'd been using is a sub-notebook!!!! WTH!

Megaupload Resume Download Hack

Have you ever get frustrated when your download suddenly stops due to poor broadband services (mainly screamyx)?

Have you ever wanted to download a 500MB size file but unable to do due to the lack of time?

That is why you will need a download manager here to resume your downloads! However, can you resume from megaupload without being a premium member?

Today, I will teach you how to resume download from megaupload.

1. Read Megaupload Country Limit Hack if you get the error download slots from your country are used.

2. Get a download manager. I suggest you download flashget for easy usage. Download and install. Then start it up.

3. Get the megaupload download link. Remember to enable Megaupload SX if you get download slot limit.
Eg. http://www.megaupload.com/pt/?d=Y65GR7UA

4. Key in the captcha and wait for 25 seconds if you are a member, 45 seconds if you're not.

5. Right click the "Free Download" button and click Copy Link Location. Normally flashget will catch the download link. Else, right click the drop zone and click Add Downloads.

6. Change the settings. Click Advanced, Edit the setting for 'Thread From Main Site' into 1.
Then click ok to start.

Let say that you accidentally stopped the download or your modem hang or your ISP rage because you download too much or bad services that made you stop downloading. The you try to continue download but you cannot because there will be error such as 'limit exceeded' or file size not the same.

So, restart your modem, click back the megaupload link, follow steps 3 to 4. When you want to resume download... you use the same method in step 5 but you must you don't click yes as a mirror for it nor add new download.

You should right click the partial downloaded files and click properties. paste the new URL from the download link and continue downloading.

That's how I do to download 10 chapters of Season 4 House MD.

Megaupload Country Limit Hack

Have you ever get this error when you try to download from megaupload?

This is because the download limit for your country already fully utilised. You can choose to install the toolbar which will flood you with spams and spywares. Therefore,I can conclude you won't download anything from the site as for now. Today, I will teach you how to bypass it.

Firstly, you need to have Mozilla Firefox installed. If you do not have mozilla firefox then get one or look at my sidebar to get one.

After you get Mozilla Firefox, go to this site and download this extension: Megaupload SX3.2 The settings are pretty much self explanatory. After downloading the extension and restart your firefox, go to Tools > Megaupload 3 > Enable.

After you enable it... HeHe... Go to Megaupload and try to download any files.

You should see a download captcha. Fill it in and you can download.

AVG Free is available free of charge to home users for the life of the product. Which means, if you using it at home or for personal use, then you can use it for free. Else, buy the commercial edition. AVG is easy to use but lack of interface. By the way, we should look towards the functionality instead of the GUI (Graphic User Interface). If you wish to have a good interface anti-virus, opt no more other than the free Avast which cost you just a mere 20.78MB of space. At first glance at the interface, I thought it is a media player! Which I am surprised. There are more free anti-virus software to discuss but there are also commercial version.

Good day. I skipped my breakfast today. Why? Am I on a diet? Of course not. I am a healthy person. (everyday sleep at 2am and wake up at 5am considered healthy? I think so...)

Why I skip breakfast?

Reason 1:

My phone lost under the hand of the burglar as written in here. Therefore, I can say they took my alarm clock too! Darn, I forget about my phone totally. So, I woke up at 6am today and race through the time!

I skipped breakfast and my personal time. Driving at full throttle but traffic jam is a real bummer. Sigh... Lucky I reached school at 7.18am. Wow, today is not a wonderful day at all or is it?

Reason 2:

I am keeping my stomach blank so that I could have a full lunch today with Michelle. Don't know who is Michelle? She's my GF (duh.. not guardian force but girlfriend).

Break In!

Dear readers, today as in 08-04-08, a thief just barge into my house! Yes, a thief. What happened? Are you hurt? Anything lost? I am not hurt because I am at school. Lost? My phone only.

Let's get back to the start:

How come they can break in?

Security features installed in my house:

Alarm - A sensitive one, similar to my school's alarm.
2 doors - a grilling and sliding door.
A SOLEX Top Security pad lock!

This is what I meant by security!

So, this is what happened.

The thief climbed the gate, try to 'kill' my grilling and sliding door. Neighbor saw the situation and called the police. They 'killed' the pad lock, yea yea I know... "MONSTER KILL!!". Out of a sudden I think of DotA. The alarm activated, they got panic and ran off.

Padlock is off, door is open!

Damage done to my house:

The pad lock need to be changed.
The sliding door lock need to be changed.
My phone is gone!

Solex TOP SECURITY??

Darn, I was so angry when my phone was gone at first, but somehow Iwas relieved after I suspended my SIM card. After all, it was just my RM 159.90 Philips 362 phone. They took it but I think they won't be happy when they get to know that they cannot even view their SMS and phonebook without the password even when they change their SIM card. Duh!

They cannot even view the SMS and phonebook! It's locked regardless you change the SIM card. So, it's just a useless phone that can only call. Similar to one that exist in the 1990's.

Besides, I would like to highlight about the SOLEX Top Security pad lock. Er... "High Security"? It was not that HIGH after all! I wonder how would they feel when they saw the padlock disambled. On the other hand, I would like to salute the thief who get to disamble the pad lock. This proved that SOLEX Top Security pad lock sucks! Hey thief, cheers~ and damn you!

SOLEX just lost the security war!! Even a thief can disamble it!

After that, I just remember one thing, how come they didn't steal anything else other than my phone? I wonder if the thief underestimates my computer value, jeweleries, cash, etc etc. This proved that thief have no brain to determine the price but able to disamble a pad lock. WTH is happening?

Conclusion: I really hate to say this but the thief did a great job to show that SOLEX pad lock is so unreliable. Now, SOLEX, you don't earn me your trust anymore and get out!!!

From 100KBps can drop to 2KBps or flashing? A: Remember that you are staying in Malaysia. Nothing is called as stable here. Reason for a such a sharp drop of speed suddenly is because you download a file, there will be always a slight pause between data transfers. So, because of zero data transfers, the speed will sudden drop significantly. Unlike other torrent clients that people claimed to be stable. This is because the creator set the download digit to increase and decrease slowly unlike Xunlei. I think this happened to all over Malaysia. Anyone can confirm this? How to do an experiment on this? Well, install BitComet or other similar torrent clients. Install Xunlei. Start BitComet. Then, you connect to any fast torrents that make you download at 40KBps~200KBps. Let it run for 2 minutes after reaching the desired speed. Now, unplug your Ethernet cable. See how slow the speed drops. Now, try the same process on Xunlei. Do the same experiment. After the experiment, can you tell me the difference? Q: Why Xunlei doesn't seem to work on private trackers but work on public trackers? A: Most private trackers does not allow Internet Explorer nor other browsers to "read" the tracker data. Because of security purposes, most of the private trackers will not allow a browser to view it. Since Xunlei is using a fake http header. The private tracker will think that you are using a browser to view the data thus disallowing you to connect to the tracker How to do an experiment on this? Install BitSpirit. Add a private tracker torrent. Click Extensions & Proxy. Go to User-Agent, define it as Internet Explorer 5.x. . Click Ok to continue. Start downloading. Look at the network log. Set TCP to 80 or 8080 or 21 because no other browser is using other port.
