Today is Texture Thursday – and that means that you get a free set of textures to download! The texture set includes 12 high resolution concrete textures which are actually the inside walls of a car port in an apartment complex. This is the last texture set of July, so I figured I’d put up a set that would be very well rounded and could be used for a variety of projects.

Below are screenshots of three of the textures in the set. The size of each image in the set is 3648×2064 so you can virtually use the textures for anything from web designs to printable works like flyers and business cards. Today marks the beginning of something great (if I say so myself) here on GreenStar – Tuesday and Thursday Textures! Yesterday I shot a video about the new series here on GreenStar and shortly after shooting the video I was driving and came across a spot to shoot these textures. I shot 20 pictures but one came out really blurry for some reason so I removed it – only quality will be here in the textures I release. The light grunge rock textures I mentioned in the video will be released on Tuesday.

Another great feature I will be working on with this site is GreenStar TV. GreenStar TV will be a twice-weekly video blog where I discuss marketing, business & freelancing. I am also working on a monthly podcast where I interview other freelancers and get other people to join in. It’s a movement, and I want you to be a part of it.
