Establishing your own E-commerce site is not like what
it used to be. There are thousands of competing sites,
that are all too willing to get a bigger share of the pie.

Every scheme and method you can find to augment your sales
would be very beneficial.

We have got to admit to ourselves. Most of us are into
it for the money. We are not going to waste our time
and effort just for the fun of it. Many sites would not
wait until hell freezes over just to see their profits.

While there are some who take things lightly, there
are always those who would rather see profit on any given day.

It is common knowledge that without traffic we have
no business. Like any business, without any customers you
don�t get sales. Traffic represents all the people that get
a chance to see what you have to offer.

The more people who see your products, the more people there
would be to buy them.

Nobody puts up an E-commerce site that doesn�t expect profit.
We have a startup capital that needs to be regained. With
a consistent traffic, we at least have a fighting chance
to achieve that probability. Monetizing your traffic would
optimize your chances of making the best out of it.

If you answered making money online in the shortest amount of time
then you’d be 100% right.  Did you know that the average life
cycle of a new internet marketer is about 3 years?

I’m not kidding.  It’s a little known fact the industry’s burn and churn rate
for those serious about staking their claim to internet fortunes, is right at
about 3 years.  Unfortunately for most, only the strong survive and come out winners

No matter where you are in that process, I’ve outlined some steps
that will help you on your path to online business success.

Biz Opp Seeker or Business Owner?

Before all else, determine if you want a online business
opportunity or to run a business.  These are two different animals.
There’s nothing more frustrating than spending your time trying
to build a business doing something you really don’t enjoy.

Those were my thoughts until I landed on the Sheraton.com
website.

I was pretty surprised to see how the hospitality industry
has gotten into the Web 2.0 act in a big way.

Gone are the days of stuffy, boring, clunky drop down boxes.

The Sheraton has done an awesome job of reinventing it’s
online presence and has become a skillful user
of Web 2.0 Technology.

If you look closely, you’ll see Two Key things at work
on their home page:

Sections called “See Stories” and “Share Your Story”.

These sections show cool, funny, entertaining pictures
guests submit along with their  stories and comments
about their actual hotel guest experiences.

Blogs has made making money online and cashing in on this
upward trend much easier.   At DoshDosh.com, she highlights
6 powerful checklist tips that will help bloggers increase
affiliate referrals.

I thought all of the tips were great foundational tips
for building an affiliate referral business using blogs
Except one critical element was missing…

A Conversion System

Making money online and building a recurring income stream
are two different animals.

Here’s a hint…Set up an affiliate marketing campaign
as if it was Your business.

Doing this will set you Far ahead of your competitors.

I know for sure Joel Comm is NOT a loser like what has been
mentioned in this article. In fact, when I met this guy, I
profesionally think he is pretty darn smart.

Joel is a best seller. He sold a $97 e-book for sure (Maybe
for some people, they think it is not worth the money).
However, what he is trying to do is PUT people into the
marketing funnel.

This is what I called, “Upsell Strategy”.

You sell them an e-book for $97.
You sell them a home-study course for $497.
You sell them an apprentices program for $4,997.
You sell them a protege program for $9,997.

This is what every successful entrepreneur does (Not just
Joel Comm or Rosalind Gardner). Sure, there are some
unethical marketers who will give a bad product, but
that’s how business is.

When I read Naimp today, I really thought those tips were great,
except that I will NOT even let the visitors of my web
site view my product, unless they are willing to opt-in to my
database.

Seriously, when you talk about 99 out of 100 people are
going to leave anyway, why do you even want to let them
even see what you have to offer directly.

1. It is a waste of your bandwidth. (Just like you said)
2. If they are NOT willing to fill in their information,
don’t give them the information. Say “Bye-Bye” to them.

In other words, tell them… Either you are in or you are
out. No Exceptions. If you let them read your stuff. C’mon,
does it sound fine?

I don’t think so!

Start asking your visitors to opt-in. If they are serious
enough, they most likely will. This is exactly what
I do to TRIPLE my affiliate commission.

Look, I read a post today at work from home online. The post
is talking about choosing the wrong affiliate. Seriously,
if you know what you are passionate about, how is that
possible that you can choose the wrong affiliate?

However, I do agree that you need to make sure the product
that you choose has to be appealing to the target market.
In other words, it must have a high demand.

Now, mistake #2: Joining too many affiliate programs.

Again, I really think that it depends on what affiliate
program you participate in. If it is in the same niche,
then why not, right?

If it is NOT, of course it is NOT reasonable to even waste
your time on joining the affiliate program.

Let’s go through the last mistake…
