Once again Henry’s is sponsoring the Toronto Zombie Walk and related festivities, which are taking place Saturday, October 22 from 12pm onwards at Trinity Bellwoods Park.

Henry’s staff will have a photo tent set up at the park where you can get a professional 4×6 picture of you and your Zombie friends for only $2 each to preserve all your undead memories. All proceeds will go to the Connect Learning Centre, which provides adults with disabilities the confidence and tools to lead an independent lifestyle, through basic life skills training.

Last year more than 6,000 corpses writhed, weaved and lurched their way through the streets of Toronto, feasting on the brains of those unlucky enough to be living.

The turnout is expected to be even greater this year and there’s even a zombie wedding taking place at 2 pm in the park. The walking dead’s 5 kill-o-meter lurch will be-heading east on Queen St. West, north on Spadina Ave., and west on Dundas St., and ending back at Trinity Bellwoods Park.

Coinciding with the Zombie Walk, photographer Sara Collaton will lead the first ever Google+ Photowalk in Toronto, shadowing and shooting the Zombies along the way (with cameras, not guns).

Angelo Nunez is the winner of the September 2011 Henry’s Photo Club (HPC) Music Photo Contest for his entry my lil’ basshead, for which he received a $250.00 Henry’s Gift Card.
