If you did watch the Apple Special Event on September 1st, 2010. You should notice this awesome 3D game demo of the Epic Citade, using the iOS4 game center to play online with another person. If you missed it, watch youtube video below:

You can download this game via this iTunes link.

And give a try on your iPhone/iPad, but nothing you can do for now since game center is not working yet, but you can just walk around and experience how cool the 3D result it is. Until the game center is working from coming few week, you can challenge your friend to play this game anytime, anywhere.

Well, Christmas is near, Steve Jobs is introducing some really nice christmas gift options for you to choose. They just announce their new products, start with:

4 gen. iPod touch, with HD camera and front camera, Facetime, Retina Display:

Alright, now new iPod Touch 4 gen support HD camera recording, Retina Display and Facetime, and cheaper price. I think most people may struggle to choose between iPod touch and iPhone 4.

My suggestion, if you don’t like iPhone SMS/Phone call features, buy an iPod Touch 4 then. Just get another MiFi and your iPod touch is almost the iPhone alike.

Porn Video Appears On Nokia N8 Launch Event! Hopefully not happen to New iPod announcement tonight.

Happened in China on August 25th, when Nokia China ready to introduce the new N8 smartphone through a launch event. The event was broadcast on several major Chinese sites, but guess one of the live streaming videos being “hacked”. A porn video scene appears suddenly and stunned everyone, including all the media reporters.

There are explaination why the porn video appears. Some think it’s a staff prank, or the site was hacked. Well, this may be good for the promotion of N8 i guess.

By the way, tonight (midnight +8 GMT), Apple will announce their new product (again), from rumors, it is all about new iPod touch and iPod Nano. I’m not so sure is this real, but based on some of news resources saying that some manufacturers from China already start selling their new iPod touch/iPod Nano case, it seems like this is quite real.

Can see that a new iPod touch came with camera. Those iPod lover must be very exciting about this news.

Facebook for iPad alternative and free!

If you are Ipad user, you probably notice there is no native facebook app for iPad, or it is not release yet. However, there are lots of option from 3rd party but most are not free. To me, paying something to get facebook work in iPad is not worth it, as those are fromm 3rd party, how can I make sure it is keeping up to date? Especially when facebook changed something from their website.

But with AIM, you can login to facebook for free, including chatting, push notification, upload photo, browse updates from others etc. And not just facebook, you can access twitter update too, including Youtube and other social media website.

I love the interface, and of course, it is FREE!

iPad is too hot

Apple has a tiger by the tail with its iPad and suppliers are now complaining they can’t push them out the door fast enough to meet demand. The head of LG Display, a division of LG Electronics, told Reuters “Apple may have to delay launches of the iPad for some countries due to tight component supplies and strong demand.”

Which also mean, the rest of the countries which do not have official iPad selling in their Apple reseller store, to have iPad officially arrive will be delay until this matter are solve.

iPad is too hot, just like an iPhone4. I got mine, have you got yours?

Finally the iPad arrived (not officially from Malaysia) but I got it from oversea. I don’t think I have to introduce too much about this awesome touchscreen device. You can check out the video below if you want.

like others said, it is hard to define iPad belong to which category, it is not consider as tablet, and not a laptop too.

The color of the screen just stunning, the touch screen are responsive, the design is sexy, you will feel comfortable when holding it and lying on the bed or sofa.

Holding when you are walking is not that practical as this thing is considered a bit heavy. But i think that’s what it made for.

It is not something to replace your laptop or mobile phone, but something good for you to do some basic document works or composing email, and entertainment that you don’t even need to wait for the device to boot up or worried it’s battery life, as it can stay up to 10 hours!

if you think iPad just another big screen iPod touch/iPhone, then you should try to have a touch on it. And you wouldn’t say that again.

Trust me, I have an exactly the same thought like your, until I touch it!

This blog post was save using iPad, with it’s friendly touch screen keyboard + WordPress App, finish within 10 minutes (Exclude attaching photos).

Ok, now i need a case, hmm….

Back to Cydia again for a reason

I know i ever said I decided not to jailbreak my iPhone anymore since iOS4. I said that because i find running a jailbreak firmware will giving me a chance to install a cracked app/games, which make me felt guilty.

But recently, i’m FORCED to go back to jailbreak with a reason.

It is not that i do not keep my word, jailbreak is now legal in US and everywhere, that’s nothing wrong to jailbreak your iPhone/iPad/iOS device. But it does break the warranty of your device from Apple. It is not a big deal if you are happy with original firmware without jailbreak. But if you need a features that original firmware cannot provide or solve it. Jailbreak is your answer.

For example, do you find to turn off the app running from the background (in Multitasking bar) is annoying? As you need to turn them off by tapping one by one:

iOS4 is great, Multitasking is good. But tapping each app one-by-one to turn them off manually to save the RAM memory, that’s too much!

For this reason, i decided to jailbreak because i need a features from SBSetting to allow me to:

* Install SBSetting from Cydia

Turn on/off my bluetooth/WiFi easily without have to go into setting > general etc so many steps. When i just want to pair my Bluetooth headset.
To free up my memory easily.
To adjust Brightness easily without go back to setting. To toggle other setting easily.

* Install “Remove Background” and “Remove Background Toggle” from cydia.

Kill the apps that still running in Multitasking bar at once without have to turn off them one by one.

Access Flash movie in iOS4 Safari through install “Frash” in Cydia.

NO CRACKED GAME/APP

As i promised, i WON’T Install”App Sync” so that can install cracked game or app in my iPhone, i still paying for the games/apps that I need/want.

I still respect to the app developer/author, and not support piracy.

So be original, if you really need features above, then go for jailbreak, otherwise, just stay original firmware without any trouble.

Is Jailbreak good? And anything wrong?

I think since jailbreak is legal few weeks ago, most people will go for jailbreak, as it is nothing wrong to mod your iPhone/iOS4 device. Just don’t install cracked Game/App, support original game/app please!

Just to remind you, jailbreak your iOS4 device, will break it’s warranty from Apple.

MiFi – Mobile 3G wireless modem+router allow you to sharing up to 5 WiFi device

It is really surprise that some of my friends doesn’t know this device, which is called MiFi, a mobile wireless modem running 3G network, allow you shareg WiFi connection up to 5 devices wirelessly.

What’s advantage to using this device?

Vonage Mobile – Call Your Facebook Friends for Free from iOS or Androids Device

VoIP giant Vonage has just introduced a new iPhone, iPod touch and Android app that allows users to call their Facebook friends for free. Vonage Mobile for Facebook is similar to VOiP apps like Skype or Fring, but with a twist: It’s all about Facebook.

The free app does not require a Vonage subscription, but does require both parties to have the Vonage Mobile for Facebook app installed. Once installed, calls can be made over 3G or Wi-Fi.
