“Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing” (Proverbs 12:18, NIV)

Let me take the time and share this word with you today. The Bible tells us that life and death are in the power of our words. We can use our words to build people up and encourage them or we can just as easily bring destruction.

When we use our words to bring healing, the Bible says that we are wise. Choose to be wise today and choose healing words. Look for the best in others and build them up. Choose healing words over gossip; choose words of freedom and peace over anger and judgment. Let your words encourage the people in your life by speaking strength, hope and victory.

Remember, words are seeds. When you use your words to bring healing, you’ll reap a harvest of health, strength and life in return. As you are faithful with your words, God will increase your influence. He will increase His favor and blessing upon you and lead you in the good life He has prepared for you.

I for one, know that I have spoke words out of anger, hurt, or fear. I know that words are powerful, even when we do not see the end result. I ask blessings over your words and my words. So today let us pray that the words of our present strengthen the words of our future.

Our Heavenly Father, today I choose to be wise and bring healing to others with my words. I ask for an increase of Your power and ability in my life so that I can live to honor You in all I do.

In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Have a blessed day,

Jerry

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — August 16, 2010:

If you can receive it, beloved, I am releasing the anointing of peace to quiet your troubled soul. It is not necessary that you work to accomplish My purposes in your life. Yours is to rest in the security of destiny, says the Lord. Trust Me! Isaiah 55:12 For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth into singing before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

It is not the dead who praise the LORD, those who go down to silence; it is we who extol the LORD, both now and forevermore. Praise the LORD. Ps. 115: 17-18 NIV

Be at rest once more, O my soul, for the LORD has been good to you. For you, O LORD, have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling, I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the LORD. 116: 7-8, 13

He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber; 121: 3

He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him. 126:6

Thank you to all who have been in prayer on behalf of our sister Jamie. Though we have not given much detail, we trust God will lead your prayers and thank you for your support.
