			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The following information has been gathered from various Internet sites and publications. I have detailed Hot flash Triggers and how to avoid them. I personally tested &amp; tried each suggestion to see how I was affected. Each time I experienced Hot flashes that were horrible! In some instances I may have been due for a &ldquo;hot flash&rdquo; however, by the food I ate and drank the &ldquo;Hot Flash&rdquo; was more intense and longer.</p>

<p>As you read and then implement these ideas and recommendations into your lifestyle many of you will eliminate hot flashes, others will experience hot flashes to a lesser degree and some of you may experience immediate relief, however what is important to remember is to improve your lifestyle choices concerning your health.</p>
<p>I assure you that no matter what category you find yourself in your hot flashes will not be a life long trial. Most women experience them for 3-4 years. (It just seems like 20 years)</p>
<p><strong>Lifestyle alterations may include:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Exercise regularly:</strong></p>
<p>Walking, running, weight lifting for 20 minutes 3 times a week is all you need.</p>
<p>If you have bone density issues (ostiopenia or osteoporosis), add weight training to your exercise routine. Weights will also help strengthen. Calcium/magnesium may also help.</p>
<p>Exercise will lower your negative cholesterol and raise good cholesterol.</p>
<p><strong>Nutrition:</strong></p>
<p>What you eat and drink affects the length and number of hot flash occurrences:<br />
<u>Sugar</u> and <u>alcohol</u> are the 2 top triggers of hot flashes</p>
