	&lt;p&gt;The Office of the Dean of Arts &amp; Sciences seeks an individual with strong organizational, analytical and writing skills and knowledge of grants administration to fill its available position of Associate Director, Arts &amp; Sciences Research Affairs. The Office of the Dean of Arts &amp; Sciences is responsible for the overall administration of the School of Arts &amp; Sciences at Tufts University. This includes oversight of the financial and administrative functions of the Schools academic departments, student services and other programs.&lt;br /&gt;
The Associate Director, Arts &amp; Sciences Research Affairs will be responsible for supporting the faculty and students of the School of Arts and Sciences in the grants submission process. This will require reviewing grants for research support primarily from federal and non-federal sources and ensuring compliance with sponsor and Tufts requirements. The goal of this position is to provide high quality services to the faculty and to maximize external funding for research. The Associate Director, Arts &amp; Sciences Research Affairs will:&lt;/p&gt;

    * Assist faculty by identifying funding opportunities, facilitating the development of the budgets and other administrative documents and navigating the internal routing process necessary for grant proposal submissions
    * Provide editorial support and guidance on the creation of grant narratives;
    * Work in partnership with the Dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and the Office of Research Administration and Sponsored Programs Accounting. 

	&lt;p&gt;Basic Requirements:&lt;/p&gt;

    * Bachelors degree
    * Minimum of five (5) years of related experience
    * Knowledge of grant accounting, budgeting, and monitoring systems
    * Knowledge of the regulations that govern federal research funding and related areas of regulatory compliance
    * Demonstrated ability to work in a collegial and helpful manner with faculty and administrative staff
    * Excellent communication skills both written and oral

	&lt;p&gt;Preferred Qualifications: Six to ten (6 10) years of experience in pre-award grants and contracts administration in a University or other non-profit setting is preferred. An advanced degree and experience with the natural or social sciences would be especially helpful.&lt;/p&gt;

Position Summary:  The Web Manager collaborates with the Marketing and Communications Team and senior staff to establish and implement web policies and standards (including brand standards), and recommend new web tools and approaches to support the college&amp;#8217;s strategic objectives. 

	&lt;p&gt;Under the direction of the Director of Interactive Marketing and Media Relations, the Web Manager creates and leads the implementation of a comprehensive web strategy to support external communications and sets the overall direction for the web site. This position provides expert technical consultation, leadership, and project management for the continuing development and maintenance of SOU&amp;#8217;s web presence in support of recruitment, marketing, fund raising and community outreach activities with focus on the external web presence. &lt;/p&gt;

	&lt;p&gt;In collaboration with senior university leadership, this position will be responsible for designing and maintaining campus web pages that communicate with, support and serve the college&amp;#8217;s external communities. This position works with campus IT leaders to support a strong web site. This position will be responsible for providing technical support, consultation, and direction for authorized web contributors on campus. The position supervises professional and student staff in the Web Office.    &lt;br /&gt;
Minimum Qualifications:&lt;br /&gt;
(Fundamental/critical requirements of the position)  * Expert-level web page development; technical knowledge and ability to develop web pages including coding &lt;span class="caps"&gt;HTML&lt;/span&gt;, &lt;span class="caps"&gt;XHTML&lt;/span&gt;, using web development software such as Dreamweaver, creation and maintenance of &lt;span class="caps"&gt;CSS&lt;/span&gt; and techniques for optimizing images. Millennium is the librarys integrated system which includes the universitys library collections database, as well as acquisitions, cataloging and circulation functional modules. Our services are high-use, high-profile and extended to users with rare exceptions for 24/7 service.&lt;/p&gt;

	&lt;p&gt;The University Library Systems Manager provides technical systems support for the shared technology services of the five Tufts Libraries including primary management and support of the libraries&amp;#8217; Innovative Interfaces Millennium server. She/he:&lt;/p&gt;

    * Serves as system manager for Solaris, Oracle and Millennium (in collaboration with staff in the University Information Technology department.);

    * Oversees the implementation of new Millennium/Innovative system products under the supervision of the &lt;span class="caps"&gt;ULTS&lt;/span&gt; Director;

    * Works closely with cross-library teams on projects related to the Millennium system;

    * Assists with staff workstation configuration for the Millennium system, in collaboration with IT staff from the individual libraries;

    * Assists with trouble-shooting of all aspects of the library system;

    * Provides training and documentation for the Millennium system for staff.

	&lt;p&gt;This position is on call for night and weekend support and does require some work at non-business hours.&lt;/p&gt;

The Director works with the departments content, technical development and project management teams (as well as partners with the University Information Technology Division) to provide advice on online marketing, website development, online applications and web initiatives that support and enhance the Universitys web strategy, including website templates, content management tools, multimedia, analytics, usability, information architecture. Other responsibilities include crisis communications planning, internal and external relationship building, policy development and budget planning.&lt;/p&gt;
