In the 50th episode of Higher Things Radio Pastor Borghardt opens with a monologue on the Gospel lesson for this past Sunday, the Parable of the Unjust Steward. After his monologue, Pastor Borghardt will interview Rev. John Drosendahl of Our Redeemer and Peace Lutheran Churches in North Carolina. Pastor Drosendahl will cover the forgotten Sola, the one we apparently missed at this year's summer conference. Then Pastor Borghardt will speak with Rev. Daniel Burhop of University Lutheran Chapel in Boulder, CO. Pastor Burhop will talk about how to survive college as a Lutheran Christian in the world today. Lastly, Pastor Borghardt will call up Rev. Jonathan Fisk of St. John Lutheran Church in Springfield, PA a question from a youth listener. Will Pastor Fisk be able to point us to the Gospel? Tune in and find out!

In the 49th episode of Higher Things Radio Pastor Borghardt will pick up where he left of with Stan Lemon, the Webmaster of the Higher Things Website, discussing his sectional from the Sola conferences on parables. After talking the texts with Stan Lemon, Pastor Borghardt calls up Pastor Mark Buetow (Stans boss!) and throws him a curve ball by asking him about speaking in tongues. After the curve ball Pastor Borghardt will chat with Pastor Buetow about the Divine Service and worship in lieu of this year's conferences.
