The Little Rock Farmers’ Market has been a staple in downtown for nearly three decades, and today it is held in the River Market’s two outdoor, open-air pavilions from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Thursday and Saturday from April through October.

In addition to snagging a bargain on local fruits and veggies, you can also find an array of homemade arts, crafts and baked goods.  So check out this seasonal list of vendors to plan your visit, grab some reusable bags and come out to the market for an afternoon of shopping, dining and fun.

Enjoy a picnic at War Memorial Park!

Picnics are the best.  Not only do you get the excuse to indulge on some delicious summer salads and airy desserts, but entertainment is as easy as packing a Frisbee in a basket and inviting along a few extra friends.
