Clean Your Apartment Ceiling Fans with these Helpful Tips

Here at the Hillside Courtyard apartment community, our residents have plenty of great apartment amenities to live with. One of the great ones is the addition of the ceiling fans. However, there is one down side of the fans. They can be forgotten often when cleaning the apartment. That is why we have put together a reminder, as well as some helpful cleaning tips for you to use!

Make sure to clean your ceiling fan at least once or twice a month!

1) Try to clean the fan in your apartments in Daly City, CA monthly to avoid having a lot of dust when you decide to use it.
2) Get a ceiling fan duster, so you can dust it without a ladder.
3) If you do have a ladder (or a chair), using a damp rag can do the trick.
4) If it’s been a while since the last clean, try vacuuming the fan with the extension tools.
5) Once a year, clean the fixture (not the blades) and clean the globe of the center. You can wipe it with the damp cloth or scrub it in the sink.
