Description: Visit the Apple Festival for Hinton’s kick off to Fall Fun! Enjoy live music, great food, hayrides, and of course, lots of delicious apples! Be among the first to enjoy the 2018 Hinton’s Corn Maze sponsored by ABE 93.7, LaRue County’s radio station. Hinton’s FarmLand play area will be open for kiddos to enjoy lots of “down on the farm” fun! Take a hayride around the farm and search for the first ripe pumpkins if you wish. But remember, this day is about celebrating apples!

The farm market will be stocked with several varieties of fresh apples and FRESH apple cider. When you get hungry, Hinton’s Kitchen will be grilling hamburgers and hot dogs. Or, skip straight to the sweet stuff and treat yourself to a yummy caramel apple, Hinton’s own Caramel Apple ice cream, our famous Apple Dumplins, or some of each!

Stop in a Hinton’s Orchard location today to get your produce fix.  The Farm Market is open Monday – Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays 1 – 6 p.m.  Hinton’s Elizabethtown location is closed on Sundays.

Flowers, vegetable plants, and herbs are a huge focus of the spring season. Whether you need ready-made hanging baskets and pots or want bedding plants and vegetable slips for your own creation, Hinton’s Orchard will take care of what you need! In addition to plants, you will find asparagus and other seasonal vegetables at the beginning of the season. In May sweet strawberries begin ripening, usually lasting through early June. Strawberries are available in both markets or you can pick your own berries at the farm.

Freshly baked bread can be found nearly every day in both markets. Be careful though. Once you smell that freshly baked bread, it is hard to resist. Homemade peanut butter, varieties of fruit butters and preserves, and salsas are also available at the Elizabethtown and Hodgenville location.

The farm market has become famous for our soft service ice cream throughout the year. Choose from vanilla or our seasonal flavor – strawberry, peach, caramel apple, or pumpkin pie.

Hinton’s Kitchen bakes many different items seasonally. Different flavors of muffins, homemade turnovers, caramel apples, and homemade apple and pumpkin pies can be found on the shelves at both markets at different times of the year. You can pick your own strawberries or apples and then enjoy a delicious strawberry or apple turnover.

During the Thanksgiving season, Hinton’s Kitchen will be busy making desserts including pumpkin, apple, and pecan pies available for pre-order. Let us help put your feast together with a tasty dessert!

On weekends during the fall season, Hinton’s Kitchen serves hamburgers, hot dogs, chili and our famous apple dumplins.

Dixie Avenue is now open for business Monday – Saturday 9 am to 6 pm.

The Elizabethtown market will be stocked with pansies, cabbage, broccoli, and other leafy green transplants.  Vegetable seeds, seed potatoes and onion sets are also available.  Even if you are not ready to plant, pick up fresh baked bread, homemade turnovers, fresh ground peanut butter, or gourmet food items inside the market.

New spring items are arriving every day!  Pick up items for a special Easter basket or to decorate your home for the holiday.  Pansies are perfect for Easter!  Stop in at Hinton’s Orchard & Farm Market this week to find treats for your family!

The Farm market will open on Tuesday, April 17th.  Lots of great things are growing at Hinton’s to make Spring beautiful!

Our Elizabethtown store will reopen in late March and our Farm Market will reopen in mid April.  Please keep up with what’s going on at the farm through our Facebook page.

Fruit baskets, preserves, fruit butters, Kentucky Proud items, holiday decorations, wreaths, and more continue to be available.  Christmas trees are completely sold out for the season and apples are in very short supply.

Thank you for business in 2017.  You helped make it our most successful year yet.  The Hinton family and our great staff look forward to serving you again in 2018 for all of your plant and fruit and vegetable needs.  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
