We’ll simply DrunknMunky clothing is being seen more and more on hip hop acts whether its the US or the UK, Jay Z was spotted sporting a DrunknMunky Hoody as well as Busta Rhymes as well as UK acts Black Twang and Blade.

It seem we can’t get enough of DrunknMunky Clothing and this is passing on to the fans of many of these hip hop acts, whilst out in a club last week (Hip Hop of course) it seemed that 10% of people were wearing a DrunknMunky hoody or a cap or a t-shirt if interested check out our Drunkn munky clothing section in the Hip Hop Shop section of our website.

So wht is the coolest pair of trainers to wear in the hip hop game, the bling bling aspect may not look for a pair of cheap puma trainers. With many group creating their own brand of shoes whether it’s wu wear of somthing else, 50 cent and Jay Z have thier own brand, so who’s weaing puma, well we’ve heard a rumour of a big US act who will be signing up with Puma we’ll let you know more as we hear it.

Us Hiphop acts like to chill out on Cane Furniture

Anouther bizarre insight we’ve been given here at the figures of speech is that a number of US rap artists have been buying Cane furniture! A little strange I know but is seems the heavy weight hip hop characters seem to have a cane fetish (That’s not getting caned fetish).

We’ve not been given any direct names as that probably isn’t the best news for their reputation management the gangster rap scene wouldn’t look the same if they weren’t blingin and rockin a smith and weston, any way as soon as we find out a few names we will name and shame them purely for the good of the industry,

Hip Hop Clubs and Geothermal Drilling

A Ground Source Heat Pump installed via geothermal drilling would be an idea solution to provide heating and cooling for a new build hip hop venue. The cooling would provide a low temperature for all those wild hip hop break dancers.
Geothermal drilling uses the same techniques as used in site investigations. Geothermal systems are designed on the results of geothermal desk studies.

It seems to find an appropriate place for a hip hop venue doesn’t require architects, site investigations or geothermal drilling or geothermal desk studies. In fact in firstly planning the size of the venue you require and the sort of night you require, will there be mc’s on, will there be breakdancers?

Planning a nite like this can make it easy to know what is the right directions to turn in terms of venue.

Hip Hop Artists wearing Superdry clothing

It seems that another urban brand is being recognised more and more on videos; album covers or in shows. The brand is Superdry Clothing.

Artists from the US to Europe and the UK have been seen wearing the brand more and more. From appearing in the urban scene in 2003 Superdry clothing is a brand to look out for away from the standard realms of clothing which appears when the next big rap act goes big.

People are sick and tired of the same clothing and so it’s nice that an actual brand non band affiliated is breaking through.

Hip hop Dancing and Ballroom and Latin

Well if you’ve been watching any TV these days you may see a common theme between dancing. There’s a lot of Hip hop style dancing out there from body popin to break dancing but you will see that many of the actors in the movies actually started doing Ballroom and latin.

Now it’s not to say that the next hip hop video you going to see the actors wearing ballroom dresses or Latin dresses, but its how the perception is given in films that these actors are from the crime and hustle, when most of the time they just aren’t.

Its seems that with all the commotion over in the US and more and more gun and vehicle crime even the hip hop acts and rappers are protecting their vehicles with some form of vehicle tracking. Whether its a car jacking or a car being stolen vehicle tracking is a requirement so under used these days. More and more people feel the need to use this as a method so they do not loose the precious cars. Word to the wise if your making it big in the hip hop game then more and more people will become haters and more and more people will want a piece of your fortune.

Think “Vehicle tracking” for a true solution on car crime.

M.U.T.E Manchesters Underground Talent Exposed

Figures of Speech perform @ The Music Box - Friday 11th April

Figures of Speech performed live @ the music box courtersy of M.U.T.E Manchesters Underground Talent Exposed. Monk, Mischeif and little Ne through down a set including “Nod to this” and “suck on these”; small crowd but a live atmosphere, they then proceeded to go back in the day performing the classic “buddha life” then hit into a beat box, joined by MC’s Locksmith and Sadistic finishing with a freestyle run to be remembered.
