..The SoCal Dance Tour is a dance competition that consists of Hip Hop dance crews and BBoy crews competing here in SoCal. These dance competition events for the HipHop dancers and the BBoy Battles are held separate, but equal. The Tour goes to the four main Southern California areas: Inland Empire, Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego. Each competition will have one winner, however the top four will advance to the fifth and final event in September to compete for the SoCal Dance Tour title, the trophy, and $2,000.00. The individual winners of each of the four preliminary events will also be awarded $1,000. Which means one hip hop dance crew and one bboy crew can potentially earn up to $3,000. Along with the title of winning the first annual SoCal Dance Tour!!! Along with all this, the crowd will also not be let down, with tons of giveaways at each and every event. Our goal is to provide knowledge and support through entertainment, to teach the mainstream audience the truth behind real hip hop as to what the media has portrayed it to be. Hip Hop Dance Crew Competition- Hooty and phaze1 will be hosting four events, one in each of the biggest counties in Southern California: L.A./O.C./S.D./I.E. All crews are welcome to compete in any of the four preliminary events.The top 12 crews from each preliminary event will be invited back to the Final Event in September. The winner of each preliminary event will get a cash prize of $1000 and the winner of the Final Event will receive a cash prize of $2,000 along with the trophy and the title of being the 2009 SoCal Dance Tour Champions. Eminem To Perform At 2009 MTV Movie Awards

Em's performance will come just a few days after the May 19 release of his much-anticipated new album, Relapse, (featuring the single and video 'We Made You,' which premiered on MTV last week). Viewers can vote online and on their mobile phones to select the nominees for the 18th annual Movie Awards. On May 4, the nominees will officially be announced, and viewers will once again be able to vote for their favorites online and from their mobile phones. The second round of voting closes on May 18, with the exception of the Best Movie category, which will remain open throughout the show. Eminem won't be the only performer taking the stage at the Movie Awards — last year, Coldplay and the Pussycat Dolls had the honors — but we're not ready to reveal who will be joining him on May 31 just yet. Additional performers and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.
