Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu is on notice, with a new video calling on the federal government to arrest the world leader since he lacks the authority.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Mamdani made his case to the government to hold Netanyahu accountable and arrest him in response to the warrant issued by the International Criminal Court in November 2024.

Wayne also revealed that he’s long been fascinated by extraterrestrial life, questioning whether we’ve been thinking about aliens all wrong.

“We also have to understand what an alien is, none of us know. I’m saying that to say, we don’t even know if they’re from another planet. The only alien that we supposedly knew is the one from Roswell that lives, J-Rod.”

The Young Money boss was referring to the urban legend of J-Rod, an alleged extraterrestrial said to have lived on Earth. According to conspiracy theories surrounding the figure, J-Rod wasn’t from another planet at all, but from another point in time.

Weezy doubled down on the theory, explaining.

“J -Rod said, ‘I’m not from another planet.’ He said, ‘I’m from another time.’ He said that your world will end in a cataclysm, and some people will make it, a lot of people will, and they’ll have to live within the planet, basically going like ants. And that civilization, that time, will last so long that we’ll adapt to living there, and just like we adapt to everything else, we’re gonna start adapting to being an insect.”

It’s safe to say the rap legend has gone all the way down the rabbit hole.

With Spider-Man: Brand New Day set to release on July 31, Sony has released its final trailer for the superhero mash-up, and it’s looking like it’s going to be a box office hit. Already confirmed to feature The Punisher (Jon Bernthal), Hulk (Mark Raffalo), and possibly Jean Grey (Sadie Sink), the latest trailer sets the tone for Spidey’s latest adventure by showcasing how far he’s come in the Marvel Cinematic Universe over the years.

Now that he’s on his own without anyone having a memory of his world saving heroics, Spidey finds himself facing off with the likes of Scorpion, a newly reborn Savage Hulk, and an enemy that we’ve yet to see who’s been surprisingly kept under wraps this entire time. In a movie world filled with leaks and snitches, that’s pretty damn impressive.

Though rumors have the secret villain being everyone from Mister Negative to the Venom symbiote that he’s apparently tracking throughout the film, we won’t know for sure who’s the big baddie until the film swings into theaters next Friday. What we are being told is that the film will lead into Avengers: Doomsday (via a post-credits scene), which is set to be the next big Marvel film in December.

Pooh Shiesty has once again been denied bond as he awaits his 2027 trial.

The Memphis rapper reportedly offered the court a $700,000 bond package that included private security and 24-hour supervision if granted pretrial release. According to Texas Public Radio, the proposed level of monitoring would have been comparable to the security provided to an attorney general. 

A detention hearing took place Tuesday in Dallas, where the Shiesty Season rapper’s request was denied, marking his second unsuccessful attempt at being granted bond.

Senior U.S. District Judge David Godbey denied both of Shiesty’s proposals, stating that private security measures would not provide enough assurance that the public would be protected if he were released.

“No condition or combination of conditions.”

The high-profile case continues to produce new developments as several individuals have been implicated in the alleged robbery and kidnapping of Gucci Mane.

Big30, who is also accused of participating in the alleged crime, recently pleaded not guilty. While Pooh Shiesty and his father, Lontrell Williams Sr., remain behind bards, Big30 remains free, leading some online to speculate that he may have cooperated with authorities.

The Memphis rapper quikcly shut down those rumors, writing:

“Don’t believe the hype… NEVER WILL I EVER.”

It looks like the “leaks” were true: Victor Wembanyama will grace the cover of NBA 2K27, and Caitlin Clark and Derrick Rose will join him on separate editions of the game.

Today, 2K officially confirmed that Victor Wembanyama will be on the cover of the Standard Edition of NBA 2K27, capping off a stellar year for the San Antonio Spurs big, where he fell short of capturing an NBA title, losing to the New York Knicks in five games.

Still, he has nothing to hang his head about because he was also named unanimous Defensive Player of the Year, a first for the NBA.

Speaking on landing the cover, Weanyama said, “When you’re truly obsessed with basketball, the game doesn’t stop when you leave the arena. NBA 2K is the court that never locks up; it’s always open whether you’re in Paris or SanAntonio. It’s how you study the game, sharpen your IQ, and live basketball 24/7.”

Caitlin Clark, love her or hate her, has brought a new level of attention to the WNBA and is living up to the predictions that she would be one of the league’s biggest stars from the moment she suited up for the Indiana Fever.

A $100,000 reward is now being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the death of Nolan Wells, the Mississippi teenager whose mysterious death has drawn national attention and renewed calls for transparency.

On Monday (July 20), Taylor Farms claimed that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) had apologized for incorrectly linking the fruit and vegetable producer as the source of lettuce that caused a cyclosporiasis outbreak throughout the nation. The company referred to a sample of lettuce taken from Taylor Farms de Mexico. A previous test had detected the parasite, but further testing by the agency said that it “concluded that the finding does not represent true amplification and should be considered a false positive.”

Kid Cudi and Kanye West have had a fruitful yet turbulent working relationship that has led to massive hits and public fallouts. Now, Kid Cudi says that he’s back in contact with Kanye West in a bid to repair their friendship.

Kid Cudi, 42, was on X at the top of this week, engaging candidly as he often does with his supporters. The public Q&A session on July 19 prompted a question from a fan about Cudder and Ye getting back together to work on music.

“Is there any chance that You and Ye will work together again? And when can we expect new Twitch streams?” asked the fan.

Sorry Marvel fans but after years of hope and hype, it seems like the long-awaited reboot to Blade is officially dead… for now.

Yesterday Marvel fans rejoiced as the latest and longest official trailer to Avengers: Doomsday dropped along with advanced ticket sales for it’s December 18th release date, but that joy was short-lived as Marvel Studios head honcho, Kevin Feige admitted defeat in the years long attempt to bring Blade into the current Marvel universe. Though there had been hope that Blade would ultimately make his way into the new “rebooted” Marvel universe that was supposed to be formed following the events of 2027’s Avengers: Secret Wars, Feige seemed like he had given up on introducing the “Daywalker” of a vampire into the main MCU.

According to Variety, the Marvel Studios president expressed his disappointment in the lack of progress on the Blade reboot during an interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast saying “I am feeling like a gigantic loser and failure that we didn’t get off the ground with Mahershala.”

Yeah, we all lowkey agree with your assessment, Mr. Feige.

Originally introducing Mahershala Ali as their new Blade at Comic Con back in 2019, the film never got off the ground as the film’s original director, Bassam Tariq exited the film just months before it was set to go into production. After that the film saw multiple screenwriters come and go as no one could seem to nail the proper story to introduce vampires into the main Marvel MCU. At one point rumors even had Marvel Studios courting none other than Jordan Peele to take on the project, but nothing came of those meetings and Blade remained in limbo.

Still, the introduction of “The Daywalker” seemed inevitable as Ali’s Blade made a quick voice cameo for a post-credits scene in Marvel’s 2021 film The Eternals, but that was as far as we got with the character.

It got to the point that OG Blade, Wesley Snipes took a swipe at the lack of progress on the franchise he made a juggernaut in the late 90’s tweeting “Blade, lordylordylordy folks still lookin for the secret sauce, ridin snowmobiles in traffic, kinda rough. Daywalkers make it look easy, don’t they?”

While that might’ve rubbed some studio execs the wrong way, Kevin Feige admitted that it was “very exciting” to have had Snipes reprise his role as Blade in 2024’s Deadpool & Wolverine.

Whether or not Feige has completely given up on Blade remains to be seen as rumors have swirled about a possible Midnight Sons project being eyed for a post-Secret Wars MCU that would team up Blade with Moon Knight, The Punisher and Doctor Strange (that would be something to behold), but as of now it seems like that’s just another fanboy pipe dream.

Now, I know you’re wondering why in the world Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, the latest installment in the Infinity Ward-developed world of Call of Duty, is at a sports convention? Well, the answer is quite simple: Call of Duty is the one thing that unites all professional sports together because you can literally find a superstar athlete from each league who picks up the sticks for the extremely popular first-person shooter video game.

So, it was a brilliant move to bring the game to Michael Rubin’s version of Comic-Con, but for professional sports fans and sports memorabilia fanatics.

There is something clearly wrong with Donald Trump. The current occupant of the White House always has to make himself the center of attention; that childlike behavior was on full display as Spain’s national team tried to celebrate its 2026 FIFA World Cup victory.

Despite what MAGA glazers are saying, those weren’t loud cheers and raucous applauding Trump was receiving at the World Cup Final match between Spain and Argentina; they were very much boos.

Trump, who keeps telling himself that he is beloved everywhere in the world, was clearly not being embraced by fans of both Spain and Argentina during the game.

After Jennifer Hudson received a well-deserved ovation for her rendition of the “Star Spangled Banner,” Trump booed loudly when his orange behind was shown in his box.

Fox then quickly cut from Trump, focusing on an aerial shot, but the boos can still be heard.

The boos didn’t end there. After the match was over, Trump was again showered with well-deserved boos as he and FIFA president Gianni Infantino made their way to the field to hand out medals to the players.

Trump’s embarrassing World Cup Final moment didn’t end there. Talks of Trump’s mental fitness once again flared up because he wandered into a photo of Spain’s World Cup celebration, leading to Infantino trying to pull him out of the flick.

In a blow to Trump’s fragile ego, Spain dropped their official pic, and to everyone’s joy, they photoshopped his bloated behind out of the picture.

The World Cup Final continues the streak of Trump getting ferociously booed at sporting events, trying to show he is just as loved as Barack Obama, who frequents NBA games and other professional sporting events and always receives warm receptions.

Looks like we have some new Kendrick Lamar music coming sooner than expected. 

After an historical 2024 that saw the Compton MC dominate headlines with his back-and-forth with Drake, release the knock-out blow “Not Like Us,” and cap off the year with GNX, Kendrick is back. Fans can expect his latest vocals when “How To Pray” drops on August 28.

The upcoming track is a collaboration between DJ Dahi and Amber Mark, with Kendrick lending a featured verse that already has fans counting down the days until its release.

Childish Gambino gave the world a sneak peek during his Gilga Radio show, previewing a snippet of the song and immediately sending social media into a frenzy.

As expected, Kendrick stans are loving what they’ve heard so far. One user wrote, “This song is way better than all the 3 drakes albums that had 80% words of bi## and f### and all those curse words. You can clearly tell difference in talent.”

Others were simply excited to hear Kendrick back in his bag, with one fan commenting, “This the Kendrick I love, sorry that GNX can stay over in LA.”

A longtime feud between two of New York hip-hop radio’s biggest personalities has taken an explosive new turn. Funk Flex is accusing DJ Enuff of taking money under the table.

Recent comments from Democratic Senator John Fetterman during a television appearance have left him open to high criticism, particularly for his apparent devotion to Israel and his ties to the late Senator Lindsey Graham.

Fetterman appeared on “Sunday Morning Futures,” hosted by Maria Baritomo on Sunday (July 19), which airs on Fox News. Baritomo and Fetterman were discussing the current war in Iran, when she made the segway. “You are a Democrat, yet you’re not afraid to reach across the aisle,” she began, “and yet your colleagues are even attacking the legacy of the late South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham.”

A potentially tense situation for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is approaching in the fall, as New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has voiced his intent to arrest the politician for war crimes if he steps foot in the city.

Mamdani expressed those sentiments during an interview with The New York Times, which was published on Saturday (July 18). He was asked on what he would do given that Netanyahu is reportedly planning to attend the United Nations General Assembly taking place in New York in September.

“I believe that Prime Minister Netanyahu belongs in The Hague,” Mamdani replied. “He’s a war criminal who has been charged by the International Criminal Court. And what you will find is that is an opinion that is held by many purely because of what his actions have wrought over these last many years.”

He added, “I’ve also said that I will follow the laws that we have here in New York City because I believe that there is an importance in following the law as a leader who presides over our city.” When asked for clarification, Mamdani stated again that he would do what would be permissible within the law, stating that “we won’t be writing our own laws to that end.”

Mamdani has consistently stated that he believes Netanyahu should be arrested per the November 2024 ruling of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands. That ruling alleged that Netanyahu and other Israeli officials committed war crimes against the Palestinian people, including “starvation as a method of warfare, and … murder, persecution, and other inhumane acts”.

Netanyahu has brushed aside Mamdani’s threats, and has in turn accused him of being anti-semitic and in league with the Hamas militant organization. He told WABC in an interview that “I think the problem is that he doesn’t recognize and he doesn’t care that those who hate the Jews and Israel ultimately hate America.”

The U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Mike Waltz, called Mamdani’s words “political theater”, listing reasons why arresting Netanyahu would be highly difficult.

Legendary DJ and Hip-Hop tastemaker Bigga Rankin has reportedly passed away, according to Think It’s A Game Records.

The record label shared the heartbreaking news in a social media post, honoring the Southern Hip-Hop icon’s impact on both the culture and the countless artists he helped along the way.

“A timeless legacy, an icon, a voice that changed lives, built careers, and inspired generations. There will never be another Bigga Rankin,” the caption says.

The label continued by thanking Bigga Rankin for his contributions to music and the lives he touched throughout his career.

“Thank you for everything you gave to us and to the culture. We love you dearly, and you will be deeply missed. We thank God for blessing us with your presence, your gifts and your love. We are so grateful for our time with you.”

At the time of publication, no cause of death has been reported. Bigga Rankin was 50 years old. His legacy extends far beyond Florida, leaving an undeniable mark on Southern Hip-Hop through his work as a DJ, A&R, and industry mentor.

Serving as an A&R at Think It’s A Game Records, Bigga played a pivotal role in helping launch YFN Lucci’s career. Earlier this year, he shared a throwback photo of himself and the Atlanta rapper, reflecting on Lucci’s journey.

“I watched this man give 110% even when life was throwin’ punches. From makin’ 25K to doin’ shows for free just to build his name. City after city, no complaints, just grind.”

After seeing one big bad shelved for another, a cast announcement just using chairs, a bunch of random clips, and cryptic messages from the Russo brothers, we finally have our first Avengers: Doomsday trailer: spoiler alert, it was worth the wait.

MCU fans woke up on a glorious morning to the arrival of the first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday that Marvel Studios had loaded in the chamber for a while, since many people had already seen it at Cinema Con and other special events.

If you were skeptical it wouldn’t keep the same energy as other previous trailers for Avengers films, you need not worry because it does deliver.

The trailer opens with a tease of Robert Downey Jr.’s take on a Latverian accent as he is Victor Von Doom, aka Dr. Doom, not a variant of Tony Stark. Doom was thrust into the big bad position after Jonathan Majors fumbled the bag and was given the boot, forcing Feige and co. to hard pivot from Kang as the next epic threat in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Thor (Chris Hemsworth) takes over narration duties, and we get glimpses of the heroes coming together from their pockets of the multiverse, and in some instances, beef with each other.

The God of Thunder pretty much tells them we need to put our petty squabbles aside because Dr. Doom is unlike any foe they have faced before, and that says a lot because they have faced Thanos.

In one scene, we see Thor trying to take out Doom with Stormbreaker, only to see the villain repel the legendary weapon with only two fingers. That leads into Thor telling the assembled heroes they need a miracle, and in walks Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), much to the amazement of the mighty Asgardian, who says “it’s impossible” with Rogers proving he is still worthy by summoning Mjölnir.

Bruh.

The trailer drop comes with the announcement that presale tickets for easily one of the most anticipated films of the year are now available for purchase.

As expected, the fans are talking, and the consensus is that we’re back up.

According to Carton and Wayne, The Joint Venture Show will cover everything from sports and music to “half-baked takes,” celebrity fueds, and random headlines making waves online.

The podcast comes shortly after Lil Wayne opened up about his relationship status with Madi Canon. During a recent Instagram post, he confirmed that the two are no long together and that they were never engaged.

Despite their breakup, Wayne had nothing but kind words for his former partner.

“Had a beautiful thing going with an amazing person.” He later added, “I don’t want to be a burden to such an amazing person.”

With a new podcast on the way and plenty of topics to unpack, the world will get to see an even more unfiltered version of Mr. Carter that they’ve never seen before.

On Thursday evening (July 16), President Donald Trump delivered a primetime address to the nation, focusing on a topic that he refuses to let go of – election interference and “vulnerabilities.”

In the 25-minute speech, he reiterated his previous false claims that the 2020 election (which he lost to former President Joe Biden) was “rigged,” and went on to claim that “Our elections were left vulnerable to being rigged and stolen, and the trust of the American people was lost. This cannot be allowed to continue.”

Trump stated that China was involved in stealing 220 million United States citizens’ voter files and that the intelligence proving that was covered up by insiders with the “deep state,” which extended to state voting rolls. He then announced a release of newly declassified documents by the CIA and other intelligence agencies to back up his claims. He would also attack mail-in voting, despite doing the same in March.

On social media, critics stepped in to disprove Trump’s claims. Representative Thomas Massie of Kentucky called Trump out in a post on X, formerly Twitter, stating that there was no cover-up of readily available voter information.

As Knicks fans continue to rejoice and bask in the glory of New York’s first NBA championship in 53 years, the Knicks players have been seen making all kinds of publicity rounds in New York City in recent weeks, but Jordan Clarkson seems to have inserted himself into a little drama as he continued to celebrate his first NBA championship.

According to TMZ, Clarkson got himself into a situation with Travis Scott of all people while turning up at Zero Bond this past Saturday night (July 18). While details about their encounter are unknown, it seems like there was some kind of issue between the Grammy Award-nominated rapper and someone else in the club that led to the NBA role player attempting to play peacemaker before things went really left.

A source familiar with the situation tells TMZ … a man was allegedly filming Travis Scott chatting with another attendee inside the NYC hot spot when Travis allegedly confronted him.

We’re told members of Travis’ entourage then allegedly began throwing bottles … and Jordan jumped in to de-escalate the situation. Both were ultimately removed from the venue.

We wouldn’t be surprised if the “attendee” that Travis Scott confronted was Knicks guard and New York native Jose Alvarado. He’s not that famous, so people don’t recognize him off rip, keeps it gully both on and off the court and is Jordan Clarkson’s go-to man in New York City. He probably told Travis Scott he ain’t got bars like New York rappers and things went left, which led to Clarkson getting involved. Just sayin’.

Though no one’s come out with an official story as to what led to the dust-up, there were ample celebrities in the house such as 50 Cent, Jake and Logan Paul and Alix Earle. It’s only a matter of time before someone says something about that night.

The saxophones are getting louder for lame influencers and two of the loudest voices in the manosphere, Andrew Tate and his brother, after they cuffs were slapped on them by U.S. Marshals in Miami on Saturday night.

The best part is that there is a video of the arrest happening.

U.S. Marshals Service tells NPR that the two influencers who gained popularity by giving a safe space to he-man woman-hating incels, building a social media empire glorifying wealth, male dominance, and misogyny, were taken into custody on a sealed warrant.

According to the website, the Tate brothers’ extradition is being sought after by British authorities on rape and sex trafficking charges.

Per NPR:

The brothers were taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service on a sealed warrant, agency spokesperson Brady McCarron told The Associated Press, placing the United States at the center of an international legal saga that has stretched from Romania to Britain.

British prosecutors announced Saturday that they were seeking the brothers’ extradition on charges alleging they raped and trafficked women between 2010 and 2017.

The dual U.S. and British citizens moved to Romania in 2016. They were arrested there in 2022, accused of participating in schemes to lure women for sexual exploitation. They denied those allegations, and the case didn’t go forward because of legal and procedural irregularities.

The Tate brothers are expected to appear before a judge in a Miami federal court early next week, according to a person close to the situation who spoke on the grounds of anonymity.

As for the pending charges they are facing in the United Kingdom, they are being accused of abusing women from north of London, where they grew up.

The Tate Brothers’ Attorney Slams The Charges

As expected, the Tate brothers’ attorney, Joseph McBride, has dismissed the charges out of the U.K., calling them “filth and slander” while admitting that he didn’t get to speak with his clients immediately after their arrest.

“They’re pulling out all the stops to make sure these guys never get their day in court,” McBride said.

“We are confident that once a competent judge sees the facts, and once the Department of Justice confronts this egregious abuse of its own authority, Andrew and Tristan Tate will walk free. America does not do Britain’s political dirty work.”

Eric Benét says there’s no love lost between him and JAŸ-Z, nearly a decade after being name-dropped on 4:44.

The R&B singer caught a stray back in 2017 when Hov took aim at him on “Kill Jay-Z,” rapping:

“You almost went Eric Benét / Let the baddest girl in the world get away / I don’t even know what else to say / N*gga, never go Eric Benét.”

The “baddest girl in the world” lyric was a reference to Halle Berry, whom Benét was publicly divorcing at the time. Shortly after the song’s release, Benét took to social media to let JAŸ-Z know he wasn’t taking the lyric personally.

“Hey yo #Jayz! Just so ya know, I got the baddest girl in the world as my wife….like right now!”

Fast forward to today, and Benét says his feelings about the bar haven’t changed one bit.

“There was no animosity about that.”

The singer also admitted he wishes he never tweeted about the lyric, explaining that his response made people assume he was upset when that wasn’t the case.

According to Benét, the two have since laughed about the moment together.

“We were like chilling in Havana with cigars and sh*t having a good time laughing about the whole thing.”

Cyclospora, the cause of the rising cases of cyclosporiasis across the country, reportedly linked to produce, has become a buzzword of late. With the Cyclospora outbreak ravaging much of the nation, some are examining the connection between President Donald Trump‘s cuts to the CDC as a possible root cause.

Forbes reports that thousands of American citizens have been stricken with Cyclospora cayetanensis, the parasite that causes explosive diarrhea, stomach cramping, fatigue, fevers, and nausea. While health officials are still trying to determine the starting point for the parasite, outside observers are wondering aloud if the Trump administration CDC cuts have hindered efforts.

“The lack of information on possible sources for the outbreak is frustrating,” said Craig Hedberg, PhD, professor of Environmental Health Sciences, School of Public Health at the University of Minnesota. “It is normal for public health and regulatory officials to be somewhat guarded with information about potential sources of contamination while the investigation is ongoing. This may be necessary to provide opportunities to trace possible sources of contamination.”

Official case numbers vary, but in Michigan, more than 2,600 cases have been reported, with over 30 other states adding to that total. And because there has not been an identified root cause, questions are cropping up about how foodborne disease surveillance operations are being handled and how the federal funding cuts for public health efforts may have had an impact.

“Have the funding cuts to public health impacted the current activities related to the Cyclospora outbreak? I think they have,” said Barbara Kowalcyk, PhD, director of the Institute for Food Safety and Nutrition Security at George Washington University, as told in a report from The Guardian.

What has materialized in the week is news that lettuce from the Taylor Farms company, which supplies chains like Taco Bell, may be a source of the parasite. A quick scan of the FDA’s recalls page didn’t reveal anything, but officials in Michigan believe that salad kits and pre-packaged lettuce are the potential culprit.

In addition to the mysterious origins, staffing cuts at the agencies investigating the outbreak are also undermining efforts to curtail its spread.

“It’s like putting a puzzle together. You start taking pieces out of your puzzle – it’s harder to see the whole picture, and that’s what we’ve done. We’ve taken pieces out of the whole puzzle,” Kowalcyk added.

Desiigner has largely disappeared from the music front, making headlines earlier this year due to an alleged domestic violence incident. According to a new report, Desiigner was arrested again on alleged domestic violence charges along with three other counts.

Local outlet WBTW reports that Desiigner, real name Sidney Selby III, was arrested in Horry County, South Carolina, on Wednday (July 16) on charges of second-degree domestic violence; two counts of malicious injury to animals, personal property, injury value more than $2,000 but less than $10,000; and one count of malicious injury to animals, personal property, injury value $2,000 or less.

The outlet examined the police report, which adds that Selby and a woman were arguing about televisions mounted to a wall in the Conway area of the county. The report adds that the woman claims that Selby grabbed her phones, damaged them with a hammer, and she fled the scene holding a young child and calling for assistance from neighbors.

Selby allegedly followed the woman to the yard of a neighbor’s home, where she claimed he threw her to the ground after grabbing her and tossing her belongings over a fence. After fleeing to the neighbor’s home, Selby allegedly damaged the property of the neighbor using a hammer and screwdriver.

Selby was granted a $1,500 bond on one of the malicious injury charges, but the other charges did not have bonds set.

This is the second arrest for Selby in Horry County. Back in March of this year, Selby was arrested for third-degree domestic violence and was later released on a $1,500 bond. The legal finality of that case was not reported.

As the Pooh Shiesty case continues to unfold, more details surrounding the alleged kidnapping and robbery of Gucci Mane are coming to light.

The Memphis rapper’s co-defendant, Terrance Rodgers, has requested a detention hearing after being accused of accepting payment for his alleged role in the crime. Federal prosecutors claim Rodgers was compensated for participating in the alleged robbery and kidnapping plot.

According to court documents, Rodgers allegedly received $5,000 for his involvement. 

“Rodgers did not participate in this offense based on pure altruism alone. Instead, Rodgers appeared to have been compensated for his role.”

Prosecutors allege that multiple individuals involved in the incident were paid, suggesting the crime was financially motivated. The latest court filings continue to paint a clearer picture of how authorities believe the events unfolded.

Caught in 4K, photos have surface online showing some of those accused of receiving payments flexing large amounts of cash on social media shortly after the alleged crime took place.

Alongside Rodgers, two other men were reportedly paid $5,000 each for their involvement. A leaked text message circulating online criticized the men for accepting what the sender described as a low payout.

“Stupid b*ch a** n*gga yo whole crew full of lames n*gga paid y’all 5K a piece for a 15 mill hit y’all some suckas.”

Pooh Shiesty remains behind bars awaiting his July 21 hearing. Unlike his father, Lontrell Williams Sr., and Big30, who are currently out on bond, Shiesty was denied early release.
