Courtney A. Kemp, Power’s original creator, is possibly building a streaming franchise with Nemesis, which has officially been ordered to a second season on Netflix.

Variety reports that Nemesis will return following a very successful first season on Netflix. The original series from the mind of Kemp premiered on the streamer back in May, spending five weeks on Netflix’s global top 10 English-language TV charts and eventually earning the top spot in its second week of availability.

Nemesis’ co-creator and executive producer, Tani Marole, spoke on the show’s return. “Season two, we’re very grateful to have it… We’re going to make sure those questions get answered — and even more questions are available for you to answer,” Marole said, according to Variety. “Make no mistakes, season two is going to be bigger and better.”

Kemp added, “I feel blessed to get a season two. We thank the fans…it’s because of them — there’s no other reason. It’s them showing up, them talking about it, and their huge social media response. The series, which stars Y’lan Noel (Insecure) and Matthew Law (Abbott Elementary), follows two men on different sides of the law. Noel plays an expert criminal who is butting heads with a brilliant detective played by Law.

The official logline for the show reads:

“‘Nemesis’ is the story of two men on either side of the law, the tale of what happens when an unstoppable force (an expert criminal (Noel)) meets an immovable object (a brilliant police detective (Law)). What starts as a crime series amped with thrilling life-or-death stakes and explosive action drives deeper to explore family, marriage, and personal identity— that which drives us, sustains us, and ultimately destroys us.”

We shall see if Nemesis is able to last long enough that it can earn some spinoffs.

LeBron James shocked basketball fans around the world after announcing that his time with the Los Angeles Lakers has come to an end. With retirement on the back burner for now, LeBron James’ agent, Rich Paul, gave some insight into the possibility of where the King will suit up next.

In a short posted by the Game Over podcast page, hosted by Rich Paul and Max Kellerman, the pair are seen chatting up the explosive news that LeBron James, who will be 42 at the end of the year, is still in the mix.

Of course, NBA fans have already made wild speculations on where James will go next. Could he return to his hometown team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and line up next to Donovan Mitchell and James Harden? Will he hop up the road to join Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors for one last hurrah? There are even rumors that he wants to play alongside Anthony Davis again, with the big man currently with the Washington Wizards.

Kellerman did his sports reporter’s best to get Paul to commit to a landing spot for his client on the record, but the Klutch Sports Group honcho saw the play and kept it elusive.

I think it’s more so having the ability to compete for the possibility to compete for winning a championship,” Paul said to Kellerman’s question of whether or not James wants to play in certain markets.

Paul went on to add that he’s spoken to over a dozen teams and added a cheeky nod to James’ golfing habit and how it’ll factor in where he goes.

“As long as there is indoor and outdoor golf, I think he’ll be fine,” Paul shared.

Lil Durk’s lawyers are pushing back against new RICO charges ahead of his trial next month.

In a new court filing, attorneys for the Chicago rapper is demanding for the newly filed charges to be separated from his August 20 trial or for the trial to be dismissed altogether.

His legal team claims in the filing that the feds introduced the new allegations at the last minute, forcing the defense to investigate the claims in the midst of preparing for trial.

Instead of asking for yet another delay, Durk’s attorneys are looking to spin the new charges into its own separate trial. If the court declines, then the defense will ask for the entire indictment to be dismissed.

The original case is tied to the August 2022 shooting that killed Lul Pab, the cousin of rapper and Durk’s op Quando Rondo. According to the filing, prosecutors spent almost two years building their case around that incident before introducing the accusation that Durk was involved in a multi-state criminal enterprise.

That accusation led to new charges, including racketeering murder and conspiracy to stalk.

The All My Life rapper has been locked up since October 2024, and he has consistently objected to previous delays in his case. The filing states that the timing raises constitutional concerns, as Durk’s legal team has about a month and a half to review roughly a terabyte of additional discovery and investigate new allegations across states.

A federal judge is scheduled to rule on the motion on July 27.

It’s safe to say fans shouldn’t expect to see Lil Wayne on a Verzuz safe anytime soon, unless he’s battling himself. 

DJ Drama recently released the full episode of his Gangsta Grillz podcast featuring Weezy, which was originally recorded in 2023. During the conversation, the New Orleans legend was asked if he’d ever participate in a Verzuz battle. His answer was peak Tunechi, saying the only opponent worthy of facing him is…himself.

“The only thing that would make sense to me if it was Album Wayne vs Mixtape Wayne or Features Wayne, or something like that. I got too much material.”

Wayne doubled down on his stance, explaining that his competitive nature would make it difficult to face another artist without completely washing them.

“It’s not that no artist can, it’s that I’m too competitive. I wouldn’t want to embarrass anyone and if I am competing against someone, I will embarrass you, I don’t wanna embarrass nobody.”

According to the self-proclaimed Best Rapper Alive, he’s also looking out for his peers. Wayne joked that one bad Verzuz matchup could derail an artist’s career, and he’d rather not have that on his conscience.

Chris Brown was ordered by a jury to pay $13 million to a housekeeper who was attacked by a security dog in his home. The jury found that Chris Brown was negligent in curbing the dog, which was described as massive in a report.

Rolling Stone reports that on Tuesday (June 30), a California jury handed down their decision against Chris Brown in favor of Maria Avila, who worked as a housekeeper at the singer’s mansion. The attack occurred in December 2020, and Ms. Avila took the stand in the two-week trial to describe the extent of her injuries and the toll it took on her mental health.

Maria Avila’s sister, Patricia Avila, was working the housekeeping job together when the dog attack happened on December 12, 2020. Along with the housekeeper, Patricia Avila was awarded $885,000 for emotional distress, and Maria Avila’s husband, Oscar Olivo, was awarded $50,000, stating that the injuries to his wife affected their marriage and intimacy. The outlet credited Billboard for this portion of the report.

Michael C. Murphy Jr., who represents the housekeeper’s sisters, gave a statement to the outlet which read, “After more than five years of litigating against Chris Brown, we are thrilled that we were able to get justice for our client, Patricia. We are so happy for her and her family after everything they went through on that horrible day. It was an honor to represent her.”

Maria Avila spoke through an interpreter as she took the stand and said the attack has robbed her of the ability to do her work and has impacted her sleep, among other issues.

Brown also took the stand and was the first witness. He told the jury that the dog, named Hades, was growling outside and he rushed to Ms. Avila’s aid, who was lying down on the ground. Brown told jurors that he secured the dog and called his security guard to request medical aid. Brown shared that he didn’t immediately call 911 due to his celebrity status and fears it would be leaked to the media.

The singer claimed his manager told him to vacate the scene, a maneuver that was challenged by Ms. Avila’s lawyer, Nancy Doumanian.

“What would have been the problem with you being there and waiting for paramedics to get there with a woman bleeding in your driveway? Why would that be a problem for you as a celebrity?” Doumanian asked Brown.

We all saw this coming, but were just waiting to see who would pull the trigger first. Sony announced it will no longer produce physical PlayStation games beginning January 2028.

Did you hear it this morning? The collective screams from collectors of physical games as their worst nightmares have become reality.

Gamers woke up this morning to a PlayStation blog post announcing that, beginning in January 2028, the company will cease production of physical game discs, marking a significant change for the gaming industry, citing “consumer preferences” and “the shift from physical to digital.”

The blog post reads:

“As consumer preferences and the broader entertainment industry continue to shift away from physical discs to digital, physical game disc production for all new games releasing on PlayStation consoles will be discontinued starting January 2028.  Following this date, new games will be available on PlayStation Store and at retailers in digital formats only. This transition has no impact on games that already released, or will be releasing, prior to January 2028 in disc format.  

This is a natural direction for Sony Interactive Entertainment to adapt to consumer trends as the general preference for digital media significantly outpaces physical discs. This transition will enable us to align more closely with how most of our community prefers to access and play games today.

PlayStation ended the statement by saying it would continue to “prioritize” its resources to drive innovation in how gamers purchase games.

Gamers Are Worried About Game Preservation

Still, that didn’t do much to quell the anger from gamers who collect video games and believe in game preservation.

Sony’s recent actions by contacting PlayStation Store users to inform them that movies distributed from StudioCanal, like Total Recall, T2: Judgment Day, and telling them, “you will no longer be able to access your previously purchased content from Studio Canal, and it will be removed from your video library,” also isn’t helping matters.

Then Rockstar Games has pretty much killed off any hope that we will get a physical release for GTA 6.

It pretty much confirms critics of an all-digital world that we are basically renting these games and movies, not owning them, even though we are paying full price for them.

This also confirms that if and when the PS6 arrives in 2028, there will be only one SKU: an all-digital console model.

It’s truly the end of an era, which now makes that classic clip from 2103 of Shuhei Yoshida and former PlayStation executive Adam Boyes even more iconic, and a reminder of the golden age of gaming that no longer exists.

During the New York rapper’s boo, Claressa Shields’, press tour stop in Atlanta ahead of her upcoming fight, he caught up with Hip-Hop Wired. The entire city has been on cloud nine after the Knicks brought home their first NBA championship since the 1970s.

Knicks super fans like Spike Lee, Fat Joe, Timothée Chalamet, and countless others packed Madison Square Garden throughout the team’s historic playoff run, proudly repping the orange and blue court side.

In true New York fashion, Papoose isn’t satisfied with just one championship. He wants the Knicks to run it up. So when asked whether the team should make a splash in free agency and pursue the newly available LeBron James, Poose didn’t hesitate.

“Some dudes from New York who speak against their own hometown, they say sh*t like, ‘Us New Yorkers go to other cities and we think we run every thing.’ I be like damn, you from New York, why you talking down against your own hometown? I’m not one of them dudes, but right now? I’m gonna be one of them dudes, if LeBron James is saying he wants to come to the New York Knicks, you gonna complain about that? Are you f*cking kidding me?”

He doubled down, saying he’d welcome King James with open arms because adding a player of his caliber only strengthens the franchise.

Boxing star Claressa Shields stopped by “MiAsia in The Midday” on Hot 107.9 Atlanta to deliver major news: she will face middleweight champion Kaye Scott on August 15 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. The fight puts two championship belts on the line and positions Shields to make history in the city she now calls home.

Megan Thee Stallion got another legal W this week, as blogger Milagro Gramz has been ordered to pay up immediately.

In a decision obtained by Complex on Monday (June 29), Judge Cecilia M. Altonaga denied Gramz’s request to hold off on paying the $75K judgment to Meg in her defamation case until after her appeal.

Last year, Gramz (real name Milagro Elizabeth Cooper) was found liable for teaming up with incarcerated rapper Tory Lanez to harass and defame the Houston rapper. Among other things, Gramz promoted a sexually explicit deepfake video of Megan to her followers.

Earlier this month, Gramz claimed in court that paying the full judgment would overwhelmingly affect her financial security. In court filings, she said she is self-employed and that her income fluctuates month to month. 

“I do not possess substantial liquid assets and do not have the financial resources necessary to immediately satisfy the judgment,” she wrote. 

In addition, the blogger claimed that the case raises “serious legal questions,” and that she has a good shot at a successful appeal. 

Unfortunately for her, the judge didn’t buy it.

In her ruling, Judge Altonaga says that “the Court has no reliable basis to evaluate Defendant’s finances. She says that there was no evidence to prove that Gramz would be in financial distress if she paid the $75K now.

As for Gramz’s appeal, the judge says that she failed to show “any likelihood of success.”

“She merely argues that her appeal concerns ‘significant issues regarding post-trial rulings, the reinstatement of the defamation verdict, and other issues,’ without explaining why those matters are likely to resolve in her favor,”

Judge Altonaga continued. “Even if the Court considered those arguments, Defendant offers merely generalized disagreement with the jury’s verdict and the Court’s post-trial rulings, which is not a showing that she is likely to succeed on appeal.”

According to reports from NBC, former National Basketball Association players Malik Beasley and Ed Davis were indicted in the newest phase of the federal government’s sprawling investigation into gambling in the league on Monday (June 29).

In the unsealed indictment, prosecutors from the United States District Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York claim that Beasley reached an agreement with Davis while he was a member of the Milwaukee Bucks in 2024 to manipulate his performance so Davis and other co-conspirators could place fraudulent wagers on games he was in.

Davis, referred to as the “gatekeeper,” became friends with Davis when the two were teammates on the Minnesota Timberwolves during the 2020-2021 season. Davis, who last played in the league in 2022, would loan Beasley millions to cover his numerous gambling debts.

The bets totalled thousands of dollars, according to prosecutors, with some amounting to $75,000 that led to payouts of $121,000. Key games that Beasley engaged in deliberate manipulation included a Jan. 26, 2024, Bucks-Cleveland Cavaliers game and games in March 2024 against the Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Clippers.

The scheme apparently fell apart in the game against the Nets, after Beasley went over on his rebounding prop – he was supposed to go under. Davis was then instructed by the other co-defendants in the indictment to pay up on the lost bets or have Beasley fix more games, but Davis balked after another NBA player, Jontay Porter, was indicted for gambling.

Beasley has been out of the league since his name was first mentioned in the initial stages of the probe, costing him a 3-year, $45 million contract with the Detroit Pistons. He and Davis are the fifth and sixth former and current NBA players named in the investigation involving members of four Mafia families.

Damon Jones, a former player with the Miami Heat and assistant coach, pled guilty in April to two counts of conspiracy to commit wire fraud. He stated that he used “insider information” to get the edge in sports bets. He was indicted along with former Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups and Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier.

For years now the popularity of the Air Jordan 11 had been steadily falling off as uncalled for color ways and over saturation had killed off their value on the secondary market and ultimately overall interest in the silhouette, but this year that won’t be the case.

A year after the Air Jordan 11 “Gamma” had holiday shoppers in a chokehold, making it damn near impossible to cop a pair even as stock numbers circled a massive 2 million pairs, Jordan Brand is set to bring back another classic grail in the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” this coming December. We expect these to be just as highly sought after as its “Gamma” predecessor.

According to Sneaker News, the official images of the upcoming pair have been released, and judging by the looks of things, it’s going to be as close to the original “Space Jam” 11s from the late 90s as can be. While the re-issued Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” of 2016 featured a high-cut patent leather look with the “45” etched on the heel tab instead of “23” (which many sneaker heads did not appreciate), it was actually more faithful to the original pair than the retro versions of 2000 and 2009.

When the shoe returned again in 2016, Jordan Brand selected the “Space Jam” to debut its Remastered initiative, rebuilding the Air Jordan 11 with a shape and construction more faithful to Michael Jordan’s original on-court pair. It was a fitting choice for one of the brand’s most revered silhouettes, and the community responded in loads because it turned out to be Trevor the “largest and most successful shoe launch in the history of Nike” as of 2017.

With 2026 marking the 30th Anniversary of the film, expect all the stops to be pulled. While we don’t know what Jordan Brand has planned in terms of marketing, we do have a first detailed look at the upcoming 2026 pair. Again, the product team is sticking true to original shapes and materials, keeping the “23” at the heel-tab. and the JUMPMAN JAM on the tie-bar on the tongue. Details surrounding the shoe’s packaging have yet to be disclosed.

Now that we’re getting a re-release with the “23” on the heel tab, you can bet your bottom dollar sneaker heads will secure multiple pairs of these, hence making these another potential impossible cop come December.

No word yet on what kind of stock numbers we can expect, but given Jordan Brand’s holiday history when it comes to its Retro 11 releases, we’d expect anywhere from 1 to 2 million pairs to be readily available on Dec. 12.

After making his debut as host of the 2026 BET Awards, the Atlanta comedian had social media buzzing with his skits, celebrity interactions, and quick-witted humor throughout the night. From reviving his Belly Gang Kush inspired character to sharing hilarious moments with Ray J and Keke Palmer, Druski kept the audience entertained from start to finish.

He also had the internet talking after spotting Love Island star Olandria Carthen in the crowd and calling her “fine sh*t,” adding another funny viral moment.

Following the award show, Druski revealed that he received a congratulatory text from comedy legend Chris Rock. In the message, Rock didn’t just praise his performance, he declared Druski the greatest host in BET Awards history.

A viral video displaying a young Black boy showing off some serious yo-yo skills has gone wide, and folks are wondering who the talented trickster is. His name is Oliver B, known as @oliver_yoyos on social media, and it appears he has a bright future ahead of him.

Based on what we could find on social media, young Oliver B is an expert at complex yo-yo tricks and shows off his talent quite vividly on his Instagram page.

We learned from Instagram that Oliver, who appears to be of elementary school age, made his first appearance at the 2026 National Yo-Yo Contest, which took place in Las Vegas last weekend.

In a post with yo-yo expert Graeme Steller, who also hosted the contest, Oliver shared his gratitude with his fans and spectators.

Donald Trump Jr. scored a big-time Hip-Hop act to grace the stages of his exclusive, members-only club in Washington, D.C. Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson will perform at the Executive Branch this coming Fourth of July weekend.

In a story broken by The Daily Beast on the word of sources, it was learned that 50 Cent will perform at the Executive Branch on July 3. The club, which is invitation-only, has been described in past reports as a nightclub for wealthy persons within the MAGA social sphere.

President Donald Trump has rolled out all the stops for America’s 250th anniversary, including a reportedly underattended state fair display on the National Mall. The show at the Executive Branch is also connected to President Trump’s “Freedom 250” campaign, according to the outlet.

Trump Jr. co-owns the club, which is in Washington’s swank Georgetown neighborhood, and has an annual membership of $500,000. Trump Jr. owns the space with financiers Omeed Malik and Christopher Buskirk of 1789 Capital.

According to another source that knows the inner workings of the club, 50 Cent joins past performers Busta Rhymes, Ja Rule, and Timbaland in rocking sets there.

The Pink Friday 2 rapper posted a smiling selfie of her and the Tesla founder in a post on X, formerly Twitter. “Thank you for saving free speech, Elon,” Minaj wrote in the caption, referring to Musk’s acquisition of the platform in 2022.  “Happy Birthday Love always From Gag City & the Barbz! ”

Tay-K legal team is reportedly looking to temporarily pause the rapper’s appeal as they continue challenging his murder conviction.

The Texas rapper has been fighting his conviction in the 2017 killing of photographer Mark Saldivar. who was fatally shot in San Antonio. Prosecutors alleged Tay-K was involved in the incident, which ultimately led to his conviction.

According to newly filed court documents, Tay-K’s attorneys have asked the court to temporarily pause the appeal while additional legal issues are addressed. The request comes after investigators reportedly recovered an iPhone from a vehicle connected to the case.

His legal previously filed a motion to suppress the cellphone evidence, arguing that law enforcement lacked probable cause to seize the device. However, the trial court denied that motion.

Now, Tay-K’s attorneys are seeking a more detailed explanation from the court regarding its ruling before moving forward with the appeal. In the filing, they argue that written findings are necessary to ensure a fair appellate review.

“The need for detailed findings of fact and conclusions of law is essential to this case. Although the trail court made some off hand comments about the existence of probable cause, Counsel respectfully submits these remarks are insufficient for full and fair appellate review of [Tay-K’s] suppression claims. Without concise, written findings of fact and conclusions of law, it is impossible to adequately brief the suppression issues raised by this appeal.”

If the request is granted, Tay-K’s appeal would be temporarily put on hold until the court provides the additional findings requested by his legal team.

After weeks of lustful pandering, it seems that DJ Akademiks finally landed a date with social media influencer Daphne Joy.

Fat Joe just picked up a significant victory in his ongoing legal battle. A federal judge has sanctioned the attorney representing his former hype man, calling out the lawyer’s conduct during the discovery process and ordering additional steps as the case moves forward.

Twista has found himself in legal trouble over allegations that he failed to pay his federal income taxes over several years.

The Chicago rapper pleaded not guilty in federal court after being charged with five counts of willfully failing to pay income taxes. The charges stem from tax years spanning 2019 through 2023.

According to court documents, Twista continued earning income from live performance, album sales, streaming royalties, and other business ventures during that time while allegedly failing to satisfy his federal tax obligations. 

Prosecutors also allege that the rapper was repeatedly notified by both the IRS and his personal accountants about his outstanding tax debt but failed to resolve the issue.

Court filings further claim that Twista entered into agreements with third-party companies to receive advances on future royalty payments. Prosecutors argue the arrangement was designed to keep those funds out the IRS’s reach.

During the same period, authorities allege Twista continued spending freely, including the purchase of four luxury vehicles, while his unpaid tax balance grew to more than $440,000.

If convicted on all five counts, Twista could face up to five years in federal prison. He is currently scheduled to be sentenced on October 22.

This shouldn’t be a shock to anyone, but Donald Trump’s Great American Fair was an epic flop, and his loyal fans couldn’t hide it.

Critics of Orange Mussolini wasted no time clowning him when videos began appearing showing that attendance at the Great American Fair was less than stellar.

Instead of celebrating America’s 250th anniversary, the weekend, thanks to the Trump-linked group Freedom 25, was more about celebrating the current occupant of the White House.

That dynamic led to the fair stumbling out of the game, with many of the music acts pulling out of the event, all claiming they were unaware the event would be closely tied to Trump.

In response to no one wanting to hit the stage at the Great American Fair, Donald Trump pitched himself as the main act, proposing he was gonna put on the greatest rally ever.

Weeeeeelllll that wasn’t the case.

Trump kicked things off with one of his epic “speeches” that didn’t seem to be a hit with his MAGA faithful, as videos of people leaving while he was rambling hit the internet.

Then came the weekend, and things didn’t get any better for Trump and his Great American Fair. The Atlantic’s Kelsey Ables described the struggle fair as an event with “holograms, free Frosties and a lot of Donald Trump.”

Parnas even shared video footage from the fair, and, yeah, there was barely anyone there.

It was so bad that not even Trump’s glazing machine, Fox News, and his MAGA loyalists could spin the fair positively. In fact, they further highlighted how much of a flop the Great American Fair was by reporting live from the event and dropping videos begging people to come out.

The one music act who was still proud to perform, Vanilla Ice, had to cancel his performance because Mother Nature did us all a favor by bringing heavy rain.

So what was there to do? Well, according to Parnas, actual baptisms were performed at the Trump fair, and if that wasn’t enough for you, one MAGA fan dressed up as Uncle Sam allegedly got caught pleasuring himself at the family-friendly event.

Bruh.

We all saw this coming, but apparently, Trump didn’t, and of course, he went on his sh*tty platform Truth Social to try and paint his epic failure as a great success, while taking shots at former presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

“Do you think people appreciate what a fantastic job we did in building and operating the Great American State Fair at the National Mall, packed with happy people, and everybody loving it?”

“Ask yourself this simple question, ‘DO YOU THINK THAT OBUMA [sic] OR SLEEPY JOE BIDEN COULD HAVE DONE IT?’ THE ANSWER IS NO,” he continued.

Over the weekend, Skepta fired off a few tweets regarding what he viewed as inappropriate interactions with North West at Paris Fashion Week. In one video shared by Big Smoke, West, 13, is greeting a fan with her hand out, who then leans in for a hug.

The veteran Grime artist shared another tweet stating that he tried not to involve his opinion but couldn’t abide by what he saw.

“My fans know I try to stay out of peoples business but damn the way grown men, complete strangers, try to use North makes me sick,” Skepta wrote.

One X user wrote in response, “With all those piecing she’s only a child by age not outlook. She basically skipped being a teenager,” which Skeppy replied with, “WOW!! Protect your kids people. Protect your kids!”

The latest ultra-exclusive friends-and-family Nike Air Force 1 was revealed by the good people over at Sneaker News, who captured images of the JAŸ-Z-inspired Air Force 1, which commemorates the 30th anniversary of the iconic rapper’s debut album, Reasonable Doubt. With Jay-Z already doing his own thing in New York City to celebrate the release of his classic record, Nike took it upon themselves to also celebrate the man who helped catapult their white-on-white Air Force 1 sneakers to must-have status in the late 90s. Seriously, there were times when the white-on-white Air Force 1s were hard to find during the summer months.

This particular pair, though, pays tribute to the legend himself, and the details will have sneaker heads wishing these would see a general release.

A first look at the upcoming release, which pays tribute to Jay-Z’s iconic 1996 debut album while quietly referencing one of the most coveted Air Force 1 collaborations ever produced. The all-white design appears to utilize the coveted 2001 Air Force 1 shape while focusing on a series of subtle storytelling details.

The most significant nod appears at the heel; the right shoe features the legendary Roc-A-Fella Records logo, immediately recalling the ultra-rare Roc-A-Fella Air Force 1 that has long stood as one of sneaker culture’s ultimate grails before it re-released in 2017. Opposite it sits the official Reasonable Doubt logo with 1996 underneath, tying the project directly to the album’s 30th anniversary. The Nike branding on the heel features the dots above the logo mirroring the distinctive graphic treatment found on the album cover.

These go hard.

Of course, these will more than likely remain a friends-and-family exclusive, but don’t be surprised if you see a pair or two up for sale on the secondary market for a grip.

The 2026 BET Awards have concluded, and with the dust settled, the accolades, performances, and more. With Clipse and Teyana Taylor clearing the competition by notching the most BET Awards, fans are dissecting the wins and notable subs online.

Taking place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, the BET Awards, hosted by Druski, were another crowd-pleasing feather in the cap for the network. Clipse took home three awards, including Album Of The Year for Let God Sort Them Out, Best Group, and Best Collaboration for their track “Chains & Whips” featuring Kendrick Lamar.

Teyana Taylor’s awards include The Fashion Vanguard Award, Best Actress, and Video Director of the Year, under the nickname “Spike-Tey.”

The Best Male Hip Hop Artist went to Kendrick Lamar, beating out Drake, J. Cole, and Lamar’s cousin, Baby Keem, among others. Cardi B won for Best Female Hip Hop Artist, beating out Megan Thee Stallion, Doechii, GloRilla, and more.

The Album Of The Year award going to Clipse has sparked some dialogue online regarding the Virginia duo’s win, with some fans seeing it as a snub towards Wale’s excellent everything is a lot… album.

Dame Dash isn’t done taking shots at his favorite op, JAŸ-Z.

As Hov continues celebrating the 30th anniversary of Reasonable Doubt, he’s been making rounds with special fan experiences. including pop-ups dedicated to both Reasonable Doubt and The Blueprint. The celebrations also come on the heels of his recent appearance at Roots Picnic, where his freestyle had the Hip-Hop world talking for days.

Many fans believe the NYC rapper slipped a few shots at Dame Dash during the performance, though he never mentioned his former business partner by name. 

In true Dame fashion, he wasn’t about to let it slide. A recent video surfaced where Dash mocked one of JAŸ-Z’s Reasonable Doubt pop-ups, questioning why anyone would want to celebrate the album inside a New York City subway station.

“What the f*ck are we doing at a train station? I haven’t been on the subway since I was like ten. I don’t even know what it looks like. It’s in Brooklyn. Thinlk about this: they made the n*gga do that and walk down.”

Earlier this month, Dash doubled down by releasing a underwhelming diss track titled “Cheap Teeth” alongside one of his new artists. The record was intent as a response to what he believed were shots aimed at him during Hov’s Roots Picnic freestyle.

On the song, Dame accuses JAŸ of having “cheap teeth” and even throws in a jab about his breathe.
