The Republican Party loves to bill itself as the party of family values, but its members always seem to be the exact opposite of that; case in point, the drama going on with Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) and her 21-year-old son, Tyler Boebert, who was arrested on Sunday on child sexual exploitation charges.

Raw Story reported on new details surrounding Boebert’s son and his alleged crimes. According to an affidavit obtained by The Denver Post, the investigation into Tyler Boebert began in 2024 after a Safe2Tell report claiming sexually explicit videos involving a minor were posted on Instagram.

Investigators revealed that Tyler Boebert, who was 18 at the time, could be seen having sex with an underage 17-year-old girl in a 43-second video.

He stands accused of producing, possessing, and sharing the sexually exploitative material.

While admitting that was her seed in the video, Boebert also copped pleas by claiming that her son had no idea he was being recorded at the time.

But the girl said aht aht aht and told investigators that Tyler Boebert made the video and, not only that, sent it to her phone.

According to the affidavit, at least six other people, including four juveniles, may have committed crimes connected to the sexually explicit material, and their names are redacted.

Per Raw Story:

“One person interviewed by the Garfield County sheriff’s deputy who investigated the incidents said videos were taken and shared back and forth to make others jealous,” the Post reported.

Boebert, of New Castle, was released the same day after posting a $10,000 bond. He faces three counts of sexual exploitation of a child and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, all felonies, and is scheduled to appear in Garfield County District Court on Aug. 19.

Latto isn’t letting the disrespect from Charleston White slide.

The controversial commentator recently claimed that Latto is 21 Savage’s “side chick” and alleged that the Atlanta rapper got pregnant by the married MC. He also questioned why Latto hasn’t faced backlash over the alleged relationship.

“Latto don’t get no backlash for getting pregnant by a married n*gga. What’s the problem, people? Being hypocritical again. She was the side b*tch that got pregnant.”

The Georgia Peach rapper quickly hopped on Instagram Live to address the claims, calling White out for spreading what she says are false statements while taking several personal shots at him.

“You old, ugly, skrawny, country, b*tch. I let y’all be loud and wrong for too long. I ain’t f*cking no married man, b*tch.”

Rather than backdown, White later celebrated getting a reaction from Big Latto, describing the exchange as “checkmate.” He also explained that his comments were part of his approach to “provoking thought and evoking emotions.”

The back-and-forth comes as Latto and 21 Savage recently welcomes their first child together. Latto revealed the news while announcing her sophomore album, Big Mama, giving fans a glimpse into a new chapter of her life.

21 Savage also appears on the album’s sixth track, “Hostage,” while other standouts include “GOMF” featuring GloRilla and “Business & Personal.”

With Latto making it clear to not play with her, it looks like this exchange with Charleston White is far from over.

Lil Durk’s lawyers have been working around the clock to build a strong defense for the rapper.

In his upcoming murder-for-hire trial, prosecutors have pushed to use Smurk’s music video for “Pissed Me Off” as part of their case.

They argue that the song and video show Durk allegedly preparing to retaliate following the killing of his close friend, King Von. Prosecutors claim these were among hints the OTF rapper gave before the alleged violence occurred.

According to court documents, Durk’s legal team pushed back, arguing that prosecutors made a number of errors in their request. The latest dispute comes after Durk’s team previously asked the court to prevent music videos from being shown as evidence during his trial.

Durk’s lawyers have outlined only two circumstances in which they would allow music videos to be presented as evidence. One would be if someone who allegedly received a reward from Durm for committing a crime appeared in the video. The second would be if the video demonstrated a relationship between Durk and one of his co-defendants.

As the trial approaches, Durk’s legal team continues to challenge the evidence prosecutors are seeking to introduce against him.

We all knew Donald Trump is a coward, unfit for the office, but this latest news takes the cake as reports reveal the Orange Menace went to great lengths to ensure his safety while using his staff and reporters as decoys.

Trump loves to boast on Truth Social as well as from the resolute desk that he is winning the war with Iran, but new reporting reveals that the country that allegedly is so decimated had Trump so shook and fearing for his life that he was put on a military jet instead of Air Force One.

The Washington Post initially reported that Orange Mussolini flew to Turkey for the NATO summit on his Qatari-gifted jet, which we eventually learned is nowhere as safe as the original Air Force One.

Trump eventually told reporters that he would be leaving on July 8, and that he would be taking the “old one” referring to OG Air Force One and not the illegal gift from the Qatari government “for old time’s sake.”

He also noted that his new jet was not up to standard in terms of security measures and needed some upgrades; it will be going through that process.

Footage from TV crews showed Trump (or someone resembling him) boarding the left side of the old Air Force One as he was about to leave Turkey.

New reporting from the New York Times reveals that Trump wasn’t actually on Air Force One. He and officials in his administration were so spooked by Iran that he slipped away undetected in a catering truck and flew home on a military plane.

But what’s really pissing a lot of people off is the fact that Air Force One still took off, and was used as a decoy, and no one on the plane, which included Trump’s staff and the White House press pool, had any idea they were essentially on a plane that could have been blown out of the sky.

Now, normally, we can all agree that the safety of the president of the United States is paramount, even for Trump, but how his administration handled this situation puts in perspective how they feel about regular people, even those who work for them.

The new-look Heat with Giannis Antetokounmpo up against the Celtics, who traded away Jaylen Brown to the 76ers, will also garner interest. The Thunder, still one of the top young teams, will take on the Timberwolves and their do-it-all superstar, Anthony Edwards.

Closing out the games will be the Nuggets, led by Nikola Jokic, up against Stephen Curry, who wants to prove to the league he still has something left in the tank.

Carmine Agnello, the grandson of Mob boss John Gotti, attempted to delay reporting to prison to donate a kidney to his mother. Carmine Agnello’s mother, Victoria Gotti, was going to be the recipient of the organ, but a judge shut down the delay.

TMZ reports that Carmine Agnello, 40, attempted to get another delay in his prison bid after initially securing one previously to donate the kidney. Agnello’s mother was set to receive the kidney on August 3, but Ms. Gotti fell ill with an infection. Therefore, she was not medically cleared for the procedure.

Agnello fought for the extension, yet on Monday (August 10), the judge, who previously allowed for the delay, would not do so. The family stated that the request for delay was not a ruse to avoid prison and that Ms. Gotti’s infection was an unforeseen event and that they desperately wanted to get the kidney to her.

Carmine Agnello has since turned himself in to the Bureau of Prisons and was shipped to the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fairton in New Jersey to serve a 15-month sentence for wire fraud. Agnello yielded $1.1 million in the scheme connected to COVID-19 relief funds.

Lauryn Hill and her Diaspora Calling! music festival was held this past weekend in London, featuring one of her Fugees bandmates and more stars. However, the star-studded set was cut short due to curfew, to the dismay of some fans.

As spotted in The Sun, Lauryn Hill’s Diaspora Calling! festival took place last Friday (August 7) at the Milton Keynes Bowl venue. With Hill and her Fugees bandmate Wyclef Jean headlining, they were joined by Erykah Badu, YG Marley, Giggs, Fireboy DML, and Zion Marley, among other guests. The festival was hosted by comedian Dave Chappelle.

Hill and Jean were just warming up in their set before the venue cut the sound at 11 PM local time, which didn’t go over well according to accounts captured in The Sun. Jean, speaking with the outlet, expressed disappointment and hopes to make it up to the concertgoers.

From The Sun:

Speaking following the abrupt end to the show, Wyclef Jean told us: “We’re really sad how it ended.

“We was just getting started, so we’re hoping to continue next year.”

He added: “We had so much surprises on the line up and everybody showed up and we really felt the crowd, that love and that energy, it’s something that they need, something they feel, it just reminds you of unity.

“With so much division, the diaspora calling is just to remind everybody to come together.”

A sign was also displayed onstage amid the chorus of disdain, explaining that they were legal bound by a curfew to end the show at that time.

“THANK YOU EVERYONE. We’re sorry for the abrupt finish. As part of our licence we are legally required to finish the show at 11pm and cannot continue beyond this time. Megan Thee Stallion appears to be teasing that she’s back in her music bag.

After taking some time to focus on her role in the Broadway musical Moulin Rouge!, the Houston rapper may have something new cooking up. Meg posted a series of photos on social media, including one that read “I’m back” and another teasing “Act III.”

The Hot Girl captain has also been killing the feature game, appearing on the remix of Bossman DLow’s hit “Motion Party” and linking up with Juvenile for his Unc anthem, “B.B.B” With her recent run of collaborations, it looks like Megan has been quietly warming up for what’s next.

Her last solo release was “Love Girl,” which dropped in October. A lot has changed since then, including the inspiration behind the record, which was reportedly tied to her relationship with Klay Thompson at the time.

If Megan is officially entering her next era, fans have plenty of reason to be excited about what she has in store.

Jacquees sits down with Hip-Hop Wired to discuss his new album Mood 2.

It’s been a long time in the making for the second part of the Mood series, 10 years to be exact. The first came out in 2016 and instantly became a staple in the Atlanta’s singers catalog. Que answers what the long wait was for Mood 2 to come out ten years after the first one.

“It just felt good right now. I feel like these songs fit the criteria of ‘Mood,’ this feels like ‘Mood 2.’ It’s the 10 year anniversary, this year I was able to put ‘Mood 1’ on all streaming platforms so it’s just a special time. These songs are really the mood I’m in, so it just made perfect sense.”

Jacquees also named “Accuse Me” as his favorite song from the new album.

Beyond his original music, Jacquees has become known for putting his own spin on other artists’ songs, or as he calls it, a “Quemix.” Day 1 fans will likely have Que’s “Persian Rugs” remix high on their list of favorites.

“I used to love the song, Party’s version. It was one of them songs that I heard and was like, ‘man if I would’ve done this, knowing my voice I would kill this song.’ I did this song right off of Peter Street. I remember when I was recording the song my homeboy had his girl in there, and once I started hitting them high notes and threw up the deuces and was like, ‘I’m out.’ That’s how I knew I was killing it.”

Back in 2018, Jacquees and Chris Brown announced plans to release a collaborative project together. Since then, it’s been crickets.

Now, Que has confirmed that the project is pretty much done, they just have to handle the business side of things.

The Decatur singer also spoke about his artist Tyler Watts singing to Mariah The Scientist and Young Thug reaction. At first, Watts was worried Thug felt a way, but Jacquees assured him that Thugger wasn’t tripping.

Amazon continues to torture us, first with the god-awful theatrically released $75 million documentary Melania, which was a massive flop, and now this new docuseries is on the way that promises to give the idiots who watch it a look at “a part of the first lady that hasn’t been seen yet,” and it’s already being panned.

Jezebel’s Claire Guinan mocked the news that senior adviser Marc Beckman announced a follow-up series with a “completely different look” and “full new experience for viewers.”

Guinan sarcastically remarked Melania was “ready to dust off her sex pest film crew” for more content.

She speculated the series will showcase Melania’s hat collection, her cryptocurrency venture, or “lunatic musings on replacing teachers with AI humanoid robots.”

“This docuseries could finally prove my theory that Melania is less a person and more a performance artist. A persona, if you will. But if I were betting my Melania coin, I would wager it’s just going to be more regime-sponsored slop,” she wrote.

“Never thought I would be wishing for one less woman in film, but here we are.”

Drake continues the “20 v. 1” and is sending out more shots.

The Iceman MC seemed to take a jab at JAŸ-Z and Roc Nation during a Kick livestream on Saturday (Aug. 8), marking the 9th anniversary of online casino site Stake with a $1M giveaway.

Fans have been speculating about the reasoning behind the beef. One such rumor comes from OVO fanboy DJ Akademiks, who claims that the beef started back when Drake refused to partner with music streamer Tidal, which JAŸ co-owns.

Instead, he went to partner with Apple Music. However, it is worth noting that the two collaborated on wax after the fact.

The two have always been competitive. However, fans speculate that JAŸ tapping Drake’s op Kendrick Lamar for the Super Bowl Halftime Show may have been the straw that broke the camel’s back.

On the track “Whisper My Name,” Drake said, “I’ll take $500K, not the dinner, I never could learn sh*t from none of y’all,” a clear nod to the infamous internet debate.

He also added on “2 Hard 4 The Radio” the mention of Hov in the Epstein Files: “Damn, y’all was really island hoppin’ back then Huh, now y’all names got redacted Yeah, now a n*gga gotta fact check, what?”

JAŸ fired back during his infamous Roots Picnic freestyle, dismissing Drake’s breaking of his record for most number one albums by a rapper: “N*gga, I’m up ten wrong chart, champ, you gotta look up again N*ggas look up to Hov, I never looked up to them. Them crackers got your publishin’, gangster, go talk tough to them.”

As for the alleged “subpoenas” that the 6 God is now mentioning, it could be about some legal moves that are about to go down. After all, fans have been alleging that Roc Nation may have ties to lawsuits against him.

However the beef started, it appears that it may be a while before we see these two in the booth together anytime soon.

Believe it or not, there was a time when President Barack Obama wearing a tan suit to a press conference was turned into a “scandal” by Fox News and right-wingers in 2014. Even though his predecessor, George W. Bush, wore a similar suit during his own presidential run, he didn’t have any swag to go with it, so no one noticed or cared.

Unfortunately for Obama, the tan suit combined with his swagger and aura proved to be too hot to handle for insecure Republicans and right-wingers, and they immediately called him “un-presidential” for daring to style and profile on the world stage. Now it seems we know where he got the idea to rock the “controversial” tan suit: none other than Larry David! Who knew?

For the season finale to Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness, Larry David plays an aide to Barack Obama during his second term who convinced him to wear the “infamous” tan suit that led to many a snowflake melting down in anger. Reassuring Obama about his choice of attire, David confirms that Obama looked “Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good” before adding, “People are going to be talking about this for a long, long time.”

Boy did they ever. The tan suit “scandal” came years after right-wing media tried to paint Obama as an elitist who was out of touch with the American people for choosing mustard over ketchup on a hamburger during a visit to a restaurant in Virginia. No, seriously. That happened.

While the ridiculousness of right-wing media has been on display for more than a decade now, we do miss the days when Obama wearing a tan suit was considered the “worst” thing a president could do. Now we have a president who’s had 300 bank accounts closed due to money-laundering concerns, among many other impeachable offenses. No one on the right even blinks. Go figure.

The Democratic Party’s nominee for the Senate from Michigan, Abdul El-Sayed, has captured the nation’s attention including that of President Donald Trump. But when Trump made a bigoted attack on El-Sayed, the latter responded with a scathing observation about Trump’s marriage.

On Saturday (Aug. 8), Trump went on his Truth Social media platform and posted a side-by-side comparison of himself and First Lady Melania Trump with a photo of El-Sayed and his wife Dr. Sarah Jukaku. He captioned the post “Two VERY DIFFERENT America’s (sic)” and used El-Sayed’s full first name.

The Islamaphobic post was raised during El-Sayed’s appearance on CNN’s State of the Union with Jake Tapper on Sunday morning (Aug. 9). The doctor replied, “Yeah, he’s right. One in which your overlords are two people who don’t like each other but joined in the interest in making billions of dollars off of you, or two people who genuinely love each other enjoying some pancakes together, who want to come together to build the kind of America where they can raise a family and know that that family is going to have the good things.”

Bastion of toxic masculinity plus trans and homophobia, Boosie Badazz let his disdain for the LGBTQ industry get the best of him, forcing him to apologize to fellow rapper ASAP Rocky.

Boosie Badazz had to say sorry to ASAP Rocky after going off on a possible AI-generated photo featuring Rihanna’s baby daddy in a thong.

Last Thursday (August 6), Boosie took to X (formerly Twitter) to issue his mea culpa to the “Praise The Lord” creator for making a complete ass out of himself after he was fooled by a doctored photo of A$AP Rocky with his cheeks out.

“MY BAD ASAP IF THAT PHOTO WAS PHOTOSHOPPED BRO I SAW THAT SHIT I WAS LIKE FUCK NO I COULDNT BELIEVE MY EYES REAL N***A HAD TO SPEAK THATS MY BAD IF IT WAS PHOTOSHOPPED BRO #love,” Boosie said in his post.

This isn’t the first time Boosie has had something to say about A$AP’s alleged choice of underwear. Nearly 2 months ago, he hopped on Elon Musk’s trash platform to call out the Harlem rapper after footage of Rocky jumping on the stage during his Don’t Be Dumb Tour appeared to show him wearing a thong.

Keeping that same homophobic energy he has become legendary for, an angry Boosie wrote: “THIS GOTTA BE AI. I KNOW THIS N***A AINT GOT A THONG ON… RAPPERS WEARING THONGS IS ABOUT TO BE A FASHION! IM GOING BACK TO SLEEP, THIS WORLD COMING TO A END.”

The “Wipe Me Down” rapper’s latest apology came after Rocky addressed the thong gate during a recent interview with Jason Lee, in which he revealed that he turned the viral moment into a financial win by dropping his own line of thongs.

“I created a thong line because they said I was wearing thongs,” Rocky told Lee. “They Photoshopped me, and that shit was crazy. The thing is, though, you gotta take situations like that, and you gotta spin it and capitalize off that. Yo, we already sold out on the fucking thongs first night!”

“I be laughing. So I can’t get mad when the joke is on me,” Rocky added. “Boosie, he older so he really think that is what it is. Boosie bugged out for that.”

The alleged thong turned out to be a microphone pack, according to Rocky.

Jamaica Rising Day Parade held its inaugural event in Brooklyn over the weekend, just days after Jamaica celebrated its 64th year of independence. Held in the borough’s Flatbush neighborhood, the Jamaica Rising Day Parade is not only the first to be held in New York but the first to take place in the United States.

As reported by Gothamist, the parade was held on the morning of August 8 on the corner of Church and Ocean Avenues. The procession went from there up to Lincoln Road, according to the report. DJ Danglez, a member of the Federation Sound system crew, provided the musical backdrop.

A$AP Rocky is set to launch the global run of his Don’t Be Dumb tour after wrapping the North American leg in July. With some downtime, A$AP Rocky sat down recently with Jason Lee and chopped it up about a variety of topics, including Tyler, The Creator’s sexual identity.

A$AP Rocky doesn’t do a lot of press, yet he’s one of the most charismatic artists in Hip-Hop today. Naturally, casual fans tune in due to his relationship with Rihanna and their growing family, but longtime fans have followed his arc since his days of developing the A$AP Mob and his musical career.

As a guest on The Jason Lee Show, Rocky allowed himself to relax and had a freewheeling chat with the show’s host, clearly banking on their offscreen friendship. While Rocky discovered a great number of topics, including the loss of A$AP Yams, fashion, fatherhood, and more, he also seemingly dropped a bombshell.

Lee inquired at one point if Tyler, The Creator was trolling about his sexual identity or if he was truly gay. Rocky tried to dodge the question, but Lee was relentless, causing Rocky to jokingly quip, “That n*gga gay” as the pair laughed.

Rocky doesn’t confirm or deny, but did say, “Look, it walk like a duck, quack like a duck” and says that Tyler certainly plays as if he is.

Other standout points of the interview were Rocky gushing about his romance with Rihanna, his children, and confirming that his love is in the studio working on music. Just don’t expect the pair to be doing a joint project together.

Rumors are swirling that Drake and Lil Yachty may be at a crossroads.

The two rappers were frequently spotted together in 2022, with Yachty reportedly playing a hands-on role in Drake and 21 Savage’s collaborative album, Her Loss. Boat even made an appearance on the project, providing ad-libs on “BackOutsideBoyz.”

An alleged reference track for “Jumbotron Sh*t Poppin’” also surfaced online, featuring Yachty’s vocals.

Since that era, however, we haven’t seen much of the two rappers together. During a recent stream, Drizzy talked about celebrating Stake’s 10-year anniversary by hitting the water, suggesting they should be “on a yacht… even though I hate boats.”

Interesting choice of words considering Yachty’s nickname is “Boat.” Now, this could simply be an innocent comment being taken out of context, or it could be another subliminal shot, something Aubrey is no stranger to.

DJ Akademiks even reacted to the comment, seemingly in disbelief while hoping the Boy wasn’t taking a shot at the Atlanta rapper.

“That wasn’t a sneak diss at Yachty, right? This n***a said, ‘Might be on a yacht, even though I hate boats.’ Nah, nah, nah. That can’t be a diss at Yachty. No, no, no, no, no, no.”

Drake has not confirmed if this was a shot at Lil Yachty or simply a harmless comment about boats.

Cam’ron and Vic Mensa are going back and forth after comments about Africa sparked an unexpected debate.

Killa and Vic beefing in 2026 definitely wasn’t our bingo card, but here we are. The exchange started after the Dipset rapper addressed his heritage during a recent conversation.

“I’m not African, I f*ck with Africans… I’m not African, bro. [Co-host] Sen [City] went to Africa and told me people stink.”

Vic Mensa quickly responded in a video, calling Cam’ron’s remarks “ridiculously disrespectful and ignorant.” Before explaining why he disagreed, Mensa made it clear there wasn’t any personal animosity.

“I love Killa so let’s approach it empirically.”

After Vic’s response made the rounds online, it eventually reached Cam’ron, who fired back. The rapper-turned-podcaster argued that his comments had been taken out of context, saying he never claimed Africans “stink” and was simply repeating what someone else had told him.

“Yo homeboy, why is you click baiting, talking about, ‘I said the people in Africa stink,’ because I didn’t say that, I was repeating what somebody said. You click baiting and clout-chasing.”

Cam’ron then took a jab at Mensa’s Roc-A-Fella tattoo.

“I’m disappointed in you. But what do I expect in a n*gga with a Roc-a-Fella tattoo on his neck?”

Mensa had the final word in the exchange, challenging the Purple Haze rapper to take a DNA test to learn more his ancestry.

“Culturally, you resonate with America. Fine, that’s a nationality. You may have European or indigenous blood, but your ancestral origin is overwhelmingly African. Take a DNA test. You tell me what it says.”

Foot Locker is on the verge of launching a brand new platform and have enlisted the timeless talents of the Ticallion Stallion, Method Man to help them get their point across. In a new commercial spot, Johnny Blaze (Method Man) narrates the styles and looks of the sports culture that Foot Locker has helped foster over the decades from the tennis shoes in the late 70’s to the rise of the Air Jordans in the mid 80’s. From there sneaker culture seemingly took over pop culture and has since become a force to reckon with in the money markets.

Looking to help remind the masses as to why sneaker culture is what it is today, Complex is reporting that Foot Locker is working with Hartbeat on a 36-part short-form docuseries called Sole Stories that will feature creators and sneaker enthusiasts who’ll share their own stories on how sneakers became a big part of their lives and ultimately an obsession.

Method Man for once knows what sneaker culture is all about and couldn’t be more than happy to be a part of Foot Locker’s latest initiative.

“As someone who has been part of sneaker culture for decades,” Method Man said, “this project felt personal. Sneakers have always been bigger than footwear. They represent where you’re from, what inspires you, and the moments that shape you. That’s what makes this campaign so authentic. It celebrates the culture that’s brought people together for generations while reminding us that the next chapter is still being written.”

On Wednesday (August 5), President Donald Trump appeared before an audience in Las Vegas, Nevada to discuss his administration’s economic policy. But many on the Internet were paying to his apparently new hairpiece, and roasting him for how bad it looked. 

Trump addressed the crowd at the Red Rocks Casino Resort and Spa, focusing on promoting new tax policies and touting one part of his “One, Big Beautiful Bill” agenda, which was the “No Tax on Tips” policy. He was joined by a fellow Republican, Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo.

“This past filing season, 440,000 tipped workers right here in Nevada saved an average of $10,000 on their taxes,” Trump claimed. “That’s all because of the fact that I said I was going to do it, and I got it done. And the Democrats will terminate it if they ever take office.”

Those watching clips from the speech online immediately noticed that something was different about his hair, fueling speculation that he might be sporting a new wig.

Lil Wayne’s bounce-back game is A1, as the rap legend was caught in 4K sliding into a reality TV star’s DM.

Shortly after announcing to the world that he’s single, Weezy isn’t wasting no time getting back in the field. Teen Mom star Rachel Beaver recently revealed that the New Orleans rapper popped up in her inbox. To be fair, according to the screenshots, she kicked things off first.

Beaver opened the conversation by telling Tunechi, “Fly me out I won’t say anything like the last one.” Well, the screenshots are out now, but we digress.

Wayne responded by asking for her number.

From there, the conversation moved to text messages, where the two appeared to be figuring out a time for Beaver to link up with the self-proclaimed greatest rapper alive in Los Angeles.

Beaver later spoke with TMZ, saying she doesn’t see anything wrong with having a little fun and getting a free flight to the West Coast.

“I don’t care if you’re Lil Wayne or Joe on the corner…you’re paying for my flight. That’s how I roll, and that’s just how it works.”

Later in the exchange, Wayne kept it short and direct, sending Beaver a late-night text saying, “want u.”

There’s no confirmation that the meetup has happened, but based on the messages, both sides seem down to make it happen.

Busta Rhymes has been teasing a sequel to his 2007 mixtape, Dillagence, built atop beats from the late, great J Dilla. Now, it appears that day is nearing soon after Busta Rhymes dropped off a new single, “SPAZZZ,” featuring production from J Dilla, although some fans have raised questions.

The track “SPAZZZ” is an aggressive track that opens with Busta Rhymes’ signature baritone over Dilla’s bouncy but hard-driving track.

“Blundering fools be wondering ‘who’s that?’/Bus’ Rhymes, reincarnatin’ the boom-bap/Powerful blow, you should probably move back/Take notes, study my sh*t, school a new jack,” opens the verse from Busta.

The beat switches after the first 16 bars, and here is where questions from fans began to crop up online. According to rapper J. Scienide, this portion of the track may have been created by Virginia producer Nottz or Black Milk.

In the song’s third act, the track again, while booming, doesn’t sound like signature Dilla, with J. Scienide saying the beat was crafted by Kev Brown, who has worked with Busta in the past. In fact, on the third verse, Brown is mentioned during a clever segment of the song.

Busta said in a 2020 GQ interview that he’s sitting on over 300 beats from Dilla, and said he intended to put verses over the works in due time.

If it is true that Nottz or Black Milk and Kev Brown should have credits on “SPAZZZ,” perhaps Busta Rhymes just made a misstep in uploading the record to DSPs. That said, we invite listeners to make their own determinations below.

Lil Durk is slated to face trial in the murder-for-hire plot that led to the death of rival Quondo Rondo’s cousin later this month, and there are new developments. Lil Durk was hit with a fourth superseding indictment, adding to a list of charges as prosecutors gather more evidence, with the rapper’s defense attorneys arguing the findings.

XXL examined court documents related to Lil Durk’s case, revealing that prosecutors filed the latest indictment on July 31. Durk was hit with a single grand jury indictment of interstate stalking, taking his number of charges from six to seven.

As noted in the report, prosecutors divided a combined stalking allegation in half, one for tracking Quando Rondo with a dangerous weapon, and one for the death of Saviay’a Robinson aka Lul Pab, the cousin of Rondo. The idea was that to avoid any legal hiccups in court, the government thought it best to break down the charge into two charges.

Durk’s other charges include murder in aid of racketeering, conspiracy to commit interstate stalking, conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire, interstate facilities to commit murder-for-hire resulting in death, and a firearms charge.

While prosecutors and the defense team will argue the motions on August 13, Lil Durk will stand trial on August 20.

At that time we were competing against all of the morning shows and he [Ryan Cameron] was just ruthless with it and his team was to. You gotta have everyone on the same page. There is no such thing as a weakest link, we all in this together, teamwork makes the dream work, all that.”

The Chicken-N-Beer MC has spent more than two decades delivering hit records, and many of them continue to take on a life of their own thanks to social media. One of the latest examples is “Roll Out,” which has become online as the “nosey” song.
