I like to chew bubble gum..And the best out there is Bubble Yum. But does it have spider eggs?  Or spider leg’s, or mixed with spider web’s?

I have to admit there is something magical about Bubble Yum.  I remember gettting my first pack. It was so much better than the hard 1 cent stuff that I got a the 7-11 that I was totally amazed.

There has to be something to it right? Some kind of secret ingredient!!

Yo’ I don’t care  if Bubble Yum has spider’s in it!

Quiktrip is the king of convenience stores.  I talk to people all the time that are not from the OK area. When they discover QT they are simply amazed.

If you don’t have a Quiktrip in your town your missing out.

I have never seen a better convenience store for all of those goodies with almost no nutritional values.  WAIT tho… QT is different…They even have fruit and salad and health drinks. They now offer fresh made sandwiches. They just keep expanding and getting better and better… You dig?

Do I get that healthy stuff?
Hell no… It will take a doctor to tell me that there is very limited time if I don’t change my ways… But even that may not make me go into a health food frenzy. (I love to eat food that’s good) Lunch Time!

I remember back in the day QT used to have “Quittin Time Beer” There would be commercials on the TV with a dog named Lamar to help serve the ghetto sud’s.

I wonder if that brew was better than the “Beast”??? That would be “Milwaukee’s best” in party lingo… Or, I think that’s how it went… Maybe it was Meister Bro’… Hmmm?

Sept 3,2010 was a sad day for Tulsa OK. The Admiral Twin Drive In burned completely to the ground. This Tulsa icon has been around since the 1950′s.

So now when I go rolling down I244 at night I will  no longer see a movie playing in the night. It’s just pitiful.

The Admiral Twin is full of history and was featured in “The Outsiders” by Francis Ford Coppola.  It’s been seen everywhere. That is a very popular movie.  Lord have mercy folks!

As I write this post the more I remember about that groovy place:

• I partied there. (many times)
• I snuck in there. (Trunk)
• I saw the Exorcist there (first run)
• 2nd time I ever kissed a girl was there. (she broke up right after lol)
• My friends back yard was the movie. (Free movies)
• On the school bus I remember seeing the film crew and vintage cars in place for the filming of “The Outsiders” (daily)

Anybody have similar memories… Thousands I’m sure.
