In the aftermath of September 11th, nearly two million tons of debris from the Twin Towers was taken to a landfill site on Staten Island called Fresh Kills. The rubble from the World Trade Center covers hundreds of acres. Steve Gillon visits the New York State Museum, which displays many of the artifacts recovered from Fresh Kills. He also visits the off-site storage facility to get an exclusive look at some of the larger items not on public display.
