Q: “How come my account was deleted? I didn’t delete it from my end!”

A: We’ve had quite a few calls lately from members claiming their account was being deleted without their consent.

Please understand we NEVER delete accounts from our end for any reason other than this one:

When you mark “A NEW AD NOTIFICATION” emails as SPAM from your Gmail, Yahoo, or AOL email…we’ve been instructed and are required by these providers to remove the account.

It’s against the SPAM laws to keep sending emails to people who mark it as spam.

Other than that, we do not delete any accounts. So if you want to stay a member, PLEASE DO NOT mark our Notification Email as spam.

Q: In my “payment history” it says that I have been cleared off for the month, but I have not received my payment in my PayPal account yet. What’s up with that?

A: All accounts that have accumulated over $25 are cleared out on the 1st of each month. As soon as it’s cleared, they are moved to your “payment history” area of your account.

To be fair to our advertisers(who are the reason for our success), we manually check all accounts before payment approval. Once approved, members are paid on the 15th of the following month.

For example: If your account is cleared on January 1st, your are paid directly to the PayPal e-mail listed on the 15th of February.

The reason for the 45 Net (instead of 30 Net) payment is because we tried a new payment system a year ago that did not quite work out. Due to switching our current system, we had to delay the payments to net 45. We have updated the terms of services to reflect this.

Please view the comment section of your payment history where the status of your payment will be posted.

Hello and welcome! This is a quick update and one that we are very excited about!

A New Look for Hits4Pay!

We have redesigned Hits4Pay and will be switching the pages sometime today. The goal is to make it a lot more user friendly and simple for members to use. I hope that you will like it.

Since Hits4Pay is a large site with hundreds of pages and complicated scripts running behind the scenes, you may experience small flaws and even interruptions in the next 24 to 48 hours. We will be working on correcting all those minor problems.

You may also see some ‘virtual dust’ that we’ll be cleaning up as we see them… so please be a little patient. We also have some exciting new opportunities (other than cash incentives) coming up in the first week of August, 2011.

What are Hits4Pay Contest Ads?

In the first week of August, 2011, Hits4pay will be running a monthly contest where we give away cool prizes like iPods, laptops, vacation packages, iPads…etc to one contest winner per month.

As always, thank you for your comments and feedback from the last update.

We have made some changes to our member database that may display a lower ‘count’ on your referrals in your account. Nothing to worry about, “all your referrals” are INTACT.

Let me explain.

I’ll put this in a Q & A format so it is clearly explained.

Question: Why is my number of referrals showing lower than it was before?

We have made some changes to our database to make it more efficient and faster to extract information for our members and advertisers. But, the most significant reason is to protect our servers and IP’S from being blocked by ISP’s.

Here is why…

Since we started, we have accumulated hundreds of thousands of inactive members who join hits4pay but never login or participate in our program.

Many of these members have old outdated email addresses that no longer work. As we send our advertiser’s offers to these invalid emails, they obviously are bounced back to our mail servers. As a result, active and participating members have less of a chance of receiving paid offers. This also affects our advertisers because their offers are going nowhere.

The scariest part is that these outdated email addresses are actively used by ISP’s as ‘SPAM CATCHERS’ — and are often flagged for SPAM.

In order to avoid this mess, we are forced to move all members who have never logged in to their hits4pay account in the past 18 months to a ‘SECONDARY DATABASE’.

This will help us focus our attention on ‘Active Members’ and provide them with more ‘Paid Ads’ to view.

Not to worry. If your referrals are in the secondary database it doesn’t suggest that you lost them, they are simply moved to the secondary database so that your ‘Active Referrals’ can get more ‘Paid Ads’.

At any time in the future, if your ‘Inactive Referrals’ log in to their account and decide to participate, they will INSTANTLY be transferred to your ‘Active Referral’s’ database.

Currently, our programmers are working to give you more stats inside your members area. You’ll be able to see a list of ‘Active Referrals’ and ‘Inactive Referrals’ separately. You will also be given their contact information so that you may have the option to assist them to participate.

If you are currently seeing a lower referral count, then you are viewing the ‘Active Referral’ count. As soon as our programmers finish working on this, you will be able to access the ‘Inactive Referral’ list.

I hope that I have succeeded in explaining the reason, cause, and effect if this change we have made.

While you are at it please login to your account and check if you have any ‘Paid Ads’ waiting to be viewed now!

I hope you all had a great weekend…

Can you believe summer is almost here already?

It already feels like it here in New York, but at least it’s supposed to rain this weekend and cool things down a bit…

As always, thank you for your feedback on the last update…

This week, I wanted to address a very important question that I was asked:

“I have more than $25 in my account from referrals viewing ads. Why wasn’t my account cleared out on the first of this month?”

Have you had this same issue?

It’s great that you’ve referred hundreds or even thousands of referrals to do the work for you, and yes, you will get paid for it…

…but our policy requires everyone that wants their account to be clear, to view at least one e-mail ad on their own.

If you haven’t been receiving any, please login to your account and make sure you have an active e-mail address linked to it.

Here’s an example of what I mean with the scenario above:

Let’s say you have 2,000 referrals reading and viewing e-mails and making you money. However, you have not logged in yourself and read one…

…in that case, your account won’t be cleared until you do (read one).

But don’t worry…

…if this has happened to you, your account will simply hold your money for you until you read an e-mail. Here, go ahead and login to your account now and see if you have any ads or emails waiting to be viewed.

That’s about it for this update!

We’re still working on the new lead program that I mentioned. After it’s finished, you’ll be able to win a ton of cool prizes (iPods, laptops, etc).
