<h2><strong>Other notes for Winstock 2012:</strong></h2>
<p>• <strong><span style="color: #993333;">BEANBAG TOURNAMENT:</span></strong> The second-annual Winstock 2012 beanbag tournament is set for <strong>Thursday, June 7</strong> on the Winstock festival grounds, beginning at <strong>6 p.m.</strong> This is a <strong>double-elimination</strong> tournament with a 64-team limit. The cost is <strong>$30 per two-person team</strong>.</p>
<p>Participants must have a Winstock 2012 ticket/wristband to participate. First prize: Two reserved seating tickets for Winstock 2013. Many other great prizes will also be awarded. <strong>Pre-register by: Friday, June 1.</strong></p>

At Winstock 2012, campers are encouraged to decorate their campsites <strong>according to their favorite Willie Nelson song from his 50-plus-year career of hits in country music</strong> to win a multitude of prizes.</p>
<p>All participants MUST register by 9 p.m. Friday, June 8 to be considered for judging. Registration will take place Friday, June 8 at the Winstock Information Tent from the time the gates open until 9 p.m. Judging will take place Saturday morning and winners will be posted by 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon at the Winstock Information Tent.</p>

<p>Sam Loebertmann &#8211; second team all conference and tied a school record for four triples in a season.</p>
<p>Sam Stender &#8211; defensive MVP, 2nd team all conference, captain, CMC athlete of the week, second all time career strikeouts at 382, and second all time career win/loss record of 42-22 career win/loss record.</p>
<p>Danielle Lachermeier &#8211; most improved player and tied a school record for four triples in a season.</p>
<p>Mikayla Kittock &#8211; Ms. Hustle.</p>
<p>Laura Pettit &#8211; Offensive MVP, first team all conference, captain, all academic all state, all section team, third all time career hits at 93, second all time career doubles with 15.</p>
<p>Katelyn Fritz &#8211; first team all conference, captain, named to the MN fastpitch coaches association all star game, broke the season record for doubles with 8, third all time career doubles at 13.</p>
<p>Team award &#8211; Bronze award for all academic all state.</p>
<p>STUDENTS/ATHLETES: Application forms for the summer speed and agility camp through Ridgeview Sports Medicine are available in the High School Office.  Please return completed forms to Mr. Decker ASAP.</p>
<p>BASEBALL: Lakers won last night. Game in Delano at 7:30 p.m. tonight.  Bus 5:30 p.m. from Howard Lake Memorial Park.</p>
<p>VOLLEYBALL:  High school girls interested in Volleyball next season (9th through 11th grade) meet before school at 7:40 a.m. Thursday, May 31 in the commons for summer camp information and many other items for next year.</p>
<p>FB:   Anyone interested in playing football next year – a meeting will take place at 3 p.m. today in Mr. Montgomery’s room.</p>

<p>Job Opportunity:  There is a nanny position available in Lester Prairie caring for 3 children from 2 families. Ages 11,9,7. <p>JV uniforms to Mr. Masters by noon on Thursday. Thursday afternoon $120.00  charge will be placed on your account.</p>
<p>2nd hour US History students – pick up your 3X5 card from Mr. Masters and turn it in before you leave today.  They will not be accepted after today.</p>
<p>Students who have medications in the office, please pick them up today or Thursday and take them home over the summer.</p>
<p>There will be a brief meeting today after school in Room 105 with Coach Gustin for girls basketball players.  We will discuss final information for summer activities.</p>

<p>Come have breakfast! Thursday and Friday the Crusader Dance Team will be holding a fund raiser by selling breakfast.  Sales will begin at 7:45 – 8:14AM.  Breakfast will be available at the Snack Shack.  Prices will range from $.50-$3.00.  Items included will be donuts, fruit, muffins and more.  Start your finals out with breakfast and support the Dance Team.</p>
<p>Four flash drives have been found in the Media Center.  Stop in if you are missing yours.</p>
<p>Seniors, please stop by the office and pick up your grade school records.  If you attended one of the area local grade schools you have a file to pick up.  Please do this today.</p>
<p>Anyone interested in bowling next year, please sign up in the office.  If you have any questions, please see Joshua Parrish.</p>
<p>Football Players – Turn in your $25.00 for the 7 on 7 passing league to Mr. Aurich.  Also, all football players who plan to lift with Coach Zupke need to turn in their $5.00 to Mr. Aurich.  Max out starts at the end of May.</p>

<p>Mayer Lutheran Summer Speed and Agility Camp</p>
<p>Ridgeview Speed and Agility is designed to help the student-athlete train over the summer to get ready for their upcoming sports season. The staff of athletic trainers, many with Master’s Degrees in exercise physiology, has designed a program to help athletes get faster, stronger and more agile. Professional programming and supervision will ensure that they are using proper technique and they gain the greatest benefit to enhance their sport performance. Program details: this is an 8 week program, Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 12 &#8211; August 2from 7:30 &#8211; 8:30 AM. The cost is $200.00. This program is offered through Ridgeview Rehab Specialties.</p>

<p>Track uniforms need to be turned in by Thursday, May 31 to Mr. Weber!  Please make sure your name is with<br />

<p>Any parent interested in volunteering to paint in the Lester Prairie School for the week of June 4-8 or June 11-<br />
15, please contact Mike McNulty at the school (320-395-2521).  There will be people painting in the morning,<br />
afternoon, and into early evening.</p>
<p>Registration forms for the Prairie Days 5K can be picked up in the office at school.  The run will be on July 21.<br />
Additional information can be found at school.</p>
<p>Students in grades 7-12:  If you want a printout of your report card, you will need to make a request for this in<br />
the office.  Otherwise, grades will posted online.</p>
<p>The Cross Country sign up form is in the office.</p>
<p>Your child(ren) need a positive balance in their lunch account or they will not be allowed to eat.</p>
<p>Final Call: Looking for Young Ladies to become an LP Ambassador. They would travel around the state of<br />
Minnesota representing our little community at parades and events along with attending social events here in<br />
town. This is a great accomplishment for your resume&#8217;s! You may also win a trip to the Aquatennial to represent<br />
our community and try for the title which is awarded a $40,000 scholarship. Please Call: Melissa Williams 320-<br />
395-8433 if interested.</p>
<p>On June 1 the Lester Prairie schools will be moving all school room items into the gymnasium so that our<br />
school project may begin June 4.  I am looking for students in grades 7-12 who will be willing to come to the<br />
school that morning at 8am to help move.  There is a sign up in the office.  Please make sure that when you sign<br />
up you will be here.  Lunch will be provided.  Thank you for helping make Lester Prairie a great school.<br />

<p>Due to the Lester Prairie School project, there will NOT be school on Thursday, May 31 for all grades.<br />
Graduation practice and the senior class plans are still in place for this day.  I am sending out this notice 3-<br />
weeks ahead so families can make plans for the students.</p>
<p>Found:  A pair of glasses in a black Callaway case.  Please claim in the office.</p>
<p>Elementary Basketball Camp Form for next year’s 1st through 6th graders (Boys and Girls) was sent home with<br />
the students.  The camp will be held June 11-14.  The camp will be held at Holy Trinity Gym due to remodeling<br />
at LP Schools.</p>
<p>Basketball Players Grades 7-12 (boys and girls):  The Mini Camp Forms and Bulldog Breakfast Club forms are<br />
in the LP School Office for you to pick up.  Work on your basketball skills this summer.  All camps will be held<br />
at Holy Trinity Gym due to remodeling in LP Schools this summer.</p>
<p>Students who have obtained their driving instruction permit need to see Mr. Bjork to get on the Behind The<br />
Wheel schedule.</p>
<p>Since the weather is getting nicer and we are looking forward to wearing our summer outfits, it is a good time to<br />
remind everyone about appropriate dress for school.  The following items are not permitted to be worn at<br />
school:  Short-shorts, spaghetti straps, short skirts, muscle shirts, no underwear showing.  Please be respectful to<br />
others and dress appropriately.</p>
<p>Reminder &#8211; No student is permitted to ride in a vehicle between 8:15 am &#8211; 3:15 pm without permission from the<br />
office.  This permission slip will be kept on file.</p>
<p>Driver&#8217;s Education students:  For those that signed up for the June class if you want to purchase a printed copy<br />
of the Minnesota Driver&#8217;s Manual, you  need to bring Mr. Bjork an additional $8.00.  Many of you already paid<br />
for one but some missed that in the registration form.  You need to either purchase a book from me or print out<br />
the PDF file from the Dept. of Public Safety website.  See Mr. Bjork if you have questions.</p>
