Private Lesson is an efficient and essential way to learn Tango. You can feel the teacher’s body and your teacher can fix your particular dancing problem by one-on-one teaching. To be a complete dancer, follower needs to understand well what the leader do while he is leading and leader needs to understand what the follower needs when the follower is responding the lead.

We are proud to present Damián Esell and Nancy Louzán’s First Tango Workshop in Hong Kong scheduled for the period from 23 to 29 September 2009.

Damián and Nancy are world class Argentine Tango dancers and also the respectable teachers of Candy and Anita of the Trio Spin Studio. Over the past ten years, the masters have travelled around Europe, North America and Asia giving workshops and performing in tango festivals.

Damián and Nancy embrace the traditional tango qualities and incorporate elements of new age tango in their dances. That’s why you will find their dances creative and lively.

1. Close Embrace Tango Mini-Workshop on 23 June and 26 June 2009

Tango is walking in a embrace, therefore “EMBRACE” is an important element in Tango. But there are many many ways to embrace which will lead to different feelings and different levels of flexibility. In the close embrace mini-working, we want you to experience

* the feeling of close embrace
* your arms are not function as leading parts, they are free to hug your partner.
* close with the partner but you are still able to move freely.

Class 1. Close embrace – The Embrace & Technique 23 Jun (Tue) 20:30-21:30
We will concentrate on proper posture, balance, and comfortable embrace which can made you have fun when dancing in close embrace.

Class 2. Close embrace – Application & Step Combination 26 Jun (Fri) 21:00-22:00
We will teach you popular steps for dancing in close embrace, so that you enjoy tango on a crowded dance floor.
Suitable for men and ladies in all level. We also give a lot of tips for intermediate & advanced level to turn their embrace into a comfortable “abrazo”.
