They are pretty bad. You get no shell access, their script support is horrible, and the support rotates so often that you rarely get the same person twice on the same subject and NEVER get the same person twice in a row on the same issue. There is no continuity in support, and overall their inability to understand the scope of the support request is telling.

I too also had a horrible experience with Dot5. Their site claims all these uptime numbers but they fell well below what they advertised! Since I moved to Tigersites, I've been getting what they have advertised! I'm glad I got rid of Dot5!

Before I (we)continue to give our opinions I think it would be fare at tis time to ask where you are or are not with your golf game, then perhaps some real sound advice; please provide us your new swing!!

James

Chris, you have a classic beginners swing, and almost a reverse pivot delevloping in yr back swing, but since you don't fall backwards on yr down swing you have managed to recover. Think about pulling back with your right hand, and pulling fwd with yr left hand. You should feel the correct weight trfr take place in yr legs.

Shorten the back swing, take it back to 9 o'clock on the dial, avoid the full swing until you reach the majors.

I have believe golf is about the 3 R's : Relaxation-Rhythm-Rotation. Yr feet should form a solid base, there on upwards you should become more and more relaxed, with the hands being the most relaxed.

The power comes from you body, yr torso, your hips. Beginners try to swing with their arms and try to lift the ball into the air. You right arm sh be a lot straighter than in the pics, probably suggesting you have stayed back on the ball and tried to lift.

Once you start rotating and stop swinging with the arms it becomes an easy game.

Find a set up that works for you. Correct ball position. Take a practice swing, check where yr scuffs begin and end and where this is in relation to yr feet. The ball sh be at the beginning of the scuff postion.

And remember the 3 Rs.

Have fun,
Brett NZ

You need to start from scratch...I suggest to you Ben Hogan's book (five lessons)...but you also have to read other books...to get a perspective.

After reading Ben Hogan's book, you will see that you broke just about every fundamentals in the golf swing.

By the way, I saw the perfect swing video, it falls short of explaining many keys to proper take away and backswing fundamentals...such as not to turn the hips too quickly on the backswing.

If you do not reach the proper backswing position at the top of the swing, it is pretty hard to hit the ball consistently. However, if you do reach that position, it is hard to make a bad shot...

Good luck to you.

The hands "hold" the golf club; the "body" moves the club; and the club face hits the ball! Not the other way around. your swing is not all that bad

Yeah I too have to deal with Dot5 as my client hosts his site there. It seems ok for HTML static site, but when I uploaded a PHP-MYSQL site, it's HORRIBLY slow. I also upload the same site to bluehost (no advertising purpose here, just a comparison), it's fast again. Dot5 got problems with querying database I guess. And for PhPMyAdmin, function import a full database file always time out. I got to sql table by table, and it took me 3 hours - RIDICULOUSLY LONG. I would give Dot5 my middle finger.
