I’m so excited! It’s the return of BETH!!!!

She’s never really been much of a smooth talker.

That’s right we are now officially on our Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday schedule.

Though if you haven’t yet, now is a great time to checkout our Kickstarter. Only a few days are left so the clock is ticking fast.

Now that we’ve hit the magic 100% mark I have some Stretch Goals to share.

• Exclusive Cover – Should we hit $5,000 anyone who pledges $25 or more will get the option of getting a book with the regular cover or a Kickstarter Exclusive Cover.
• Tales of Holiday’s Past – Should we hit $8,000 anyone who pledges $30 or more will get a copy of “Tales of Holiday’s Past.” In addition to what’s already been posted online, this book will contain more than 30 new pages of story.

The new “ToHP” stories will only ever see the light of day if we print a second graphic novel. So if you are interested in seeing at least 30 new pages of story then back the Kickstarter ASAP. Here are a few that I know would be included:

• “The Devil Amongst Us” – An action pack horror piece where The Bunny & Santa team up to take on the Jersey Devil.
• “Opposite Opposite Day” – A short story focusing on what happens to Opposite Day on his day.
• “Boy Meets Girl” – We get to see exactly what went down the first time Taylor (Labor Day) met Anna (Memorial Day).

We added a bunch of new pledge levels for the Kickstarter yesterday. The biggest is one where you can vote and save one character and I won’t kill that character in Volume 2!

If the Kickstarter is successful, those who pledge $50 or more will get to vote on which character I’m not allowed to kill off in Volume 2.

• SAVE A CHARACTER – For $50 you will get one vote in our “Save a Character Poll.” The winning character will earn a reprieve that will allow them to survive Volume 2 and live to see Volume 3! Included with this are all previous rewards (add $10 for international shipping).

I’ll allow you to save any character that is currently alive in Volume 2!

This is the last week of the Kickstarter and it’s SOOOO CLOSE! Who can pushes up to the 100% mark???

Tegan actually hasn’t taken the PSATs or SATs yet. I’m not sure how she would do on either one.

We are wrapping up our third week of the Kickstarter. If you plan to get a copy of the book now is the time!

And we are back to Tegan and the normal world!

Also I wanted to be clear. Volume 2 isn’t a done deal, but we have eight months worth of buffer. Plus we have people contracted for it. So it will be finished.

It’s Volume 3 and beyond that I’m worried about. Without a physical Volume 1 to sell, I can’t afford to pay for Volume 3. That’s why this kickstarter is so important (I received some emails from people asking for clarification). It’s now or never for Book 1. We won’t be following this up again with another Kickstarter.

Seriously guys, we need your help. The Kickstarter is starting to stagnate and we are really worried.

Right now there are only 41 backers and a good chunk of those are friends. I know there are a lot more than 41 of you who regularly read the comic. If you are a fan and have any intention of ever owning a book now is the time. Otherwise there may never be a book.

That really matters because “Holiday Wars” is funded out of my pocket and without a book to sell at conventions to generate some income I’m not sure how much longer I can keep the comic going.
