Do you suffer from back, neck, shoulder, hip or knee pain? Are you having challenges moving around, or playing your favorite sports?

Pain is only a symptom. The root cause may actually be located elsewhere in the body. Recent research has shown that all parts of the body: joints, muscles and ligaments are interconnected and form a continuous fabric, referred to as the Tensegrity Matrix. This is also true of bone, which has been shown to become distorted with injury, leading to many types of joint and muscle pain. Therefore, an injury in one part of the body can lead to strain and pain in another (see diagram above). Most treatments focus on the area of pain, but this frequently fails because that area may, in fact, not be the cause of your problem.

Matrix Repatterning

Matrix Repatterning is a revolutionary form of therapy that is designed to precisely locate the source of the problem, which results in lasting pain relief and a permanent solution to the problem. Certified practitioners precisely detect where the body is holding the most restriction, which is an indicator of previous and current injuries. Then, using gentle manual pressure, they are able to unravel deep layers of tension, resulting in lasting relief of tension and pain. Treatment often provides lasting relief within 6 to 12 treatments.

“More than 20 years ago, I had a work-related injury to my right knee. I had surgery with no results. I altered my walk to compensate for the pain which caused lower back, shoulder and neck problems. I had many years of physiotherapy, chiropractic treatments, and pool therapy, which helped but never cured my condition. Since receiving Matrix Repatterning, I have had no shoulder, low back, neck or knee pain.

Thank you Dr. Roth; you have changed my life!”

FACTS:

Forty-five percent of normal adults snore at least occasionally.

25 percent are habitual snorers

Problem snoring is more frequent in males and overweight people

Snoring usually grows worse with age.

Besides the obvious disruption of sleep for those sharing the same room or bed, the sufferer is at risk for reduced oxygen supply to the brain, increased risk of heart disease and motor vehicle collisions, as well as many other effects due to sleep deprivation.

Our research has demonstrated that the correction of many common structural imbalances in the head, neck and chest, can alleviate this condition in most cases.

WHAT CAUSES SNORING?

Snoring is caused by partial obstruction of the air flow through the nose, mouth or throat. This causes the walls of the throat to vibrate during breathing, resulting in the distinctive sounds of snoring. Air flow can be obstructed by mechanical imbalance in several different parts of the body. Some of these problems may be caused by injuries, such as strains and impacts such as falls. In some cases impact injuries can lead to internal injury to the fluid-filled internal organs. This may result in the enlargement of organs, such as the liver, spleen or heart, resulting in downward tension on the esophagus and throat, which causes the tongue to be pulled further into the airway.

Injuries & Upper Airway Obstruction:

Head Injury

Facial Injury

Neck Injury

Visceral (Internal Organ) Injury

SLEEP APNEA

Sleep apnea is a common disorder resulting in pauses in breathing during sleep, caused by complete obstruction of air flow in the upper airway. Breathing pauses can last from a few seconds to minutes. They often occur 5 to 30 times or more an hour. Typically, normal breathing then starts again, sometimes with a loud snort or choking sound. The most common form of sleep apnea is due to mechanical obstruction of the airway. Untreated sleep apnea is associated with heart disease, stroke and an increased risk for work-related and driving accidents. The Sleep-Strip is a disposable mini-computer, which can used to monitor sleep apnea.

Matrix Repatterning is a gentle, scientific form of treatment provided by certified health professionals. It has been clinically proven to resolve the underlying factors associated with many conditions including snoring & sleep apnea; back, neck, shoulder, hip and knee pain, headache & TMJ and various other conditions associated with structural imbalance.

Playing sports comes with exhilaration — and risks. Certainly playing a contact sport like hockey, especially on the professional level, comes with the risk of injury. Injuries are part of a professional athlete’s life. But injuries can also take place on a pee-wee football field, the ski slopes, or a local bike path. In fact, Health Canada estimates that approximately 300,000 sports- and recreation-related concussions occur in Canada each year. And women and girls are just as likely as men and boys to sustain a brain injury playing sports.

Sports-related brain injuries can unfortunately happen in countless ways. A football player can sustain a traumatic brain injury (TBI) in a head-to-head collision. A cheerleader can fall on her head during a “basket toss.” A skier can smash into a tree. A skateboarder can lose control and fall against a curb.

In the last several years, sports and concussion have received a lot more attention and scrutiny — so much so, that rules in certain games are changing, and laws are being implemented to keep athletes of all ages and skills safe. But coaches, parents, and athletes need to learn about brain injury to prevent injury and make the best decisions if an injury does occur. Here is some basic must-know information:

An athlete can sustain a concussion or brain injury without necessarily losing consciousness.

A concussion can have serious and long-term health effects, and even a seemingly mild “ding” or bump on the head can be serious.

A concussion changes how the brain normally functions— in the short or long-term, depending on the severity of the injury and the time taken to recover.

What to do?

Prevention – do all you can to make sure injuries don’t happen in the first place:

Wear a helmet. There are specialized helmets for almost every sport. Make sure all helmets are properly fitted and maintained and are worn correctly and consistently.

Follow safety rules for each sport.

Never let children in or near water without adult supervision.

Be familiar with your equipment like your bike or ATV. Make sure it is in good working order and adheres to safety standards.

Be familiar with terrain before biking, horseback riding, waterskiing, swimming, or rock climbing.

Take Action – if an athlete has sustained a concussion — recently or ever — it’s crucial for the athlete, teammates, coaches, and parents to take the appropriate steps:

Know the signs and symptoms of concussion.

Seek medical attention, even if you think the brain injury is “mild.” A healthcare professional will be able to decide when it is safe to return to sports.

Do not return to play with a known or suspected concussion until evaluated and given permission by an appropriate healthcare professional. (Second concussions that occur before you have recovered [second impact syndrome] can be very serious.)

Tell your coach or child’s coach about any recent concussions.

Sports bring risks, but they also come with myriad benefits like fitness, good health, confidence, friendship, and team sportsmanship. They just need to be played safely. If you or a member of your family or your team has sustained one or more head injuries, and are suffering from symptoms such as headaches, ringing in the ears, dizziness, memory loss, mood changes or sleep disorders, suggest they seek professional attention.

Matrix Repatterning, provided by certified health professionals, has been clinically proven to resolve many of the underlying factors associated with head injury and concussion.
