I got to know Phil and Rachel last fall when I photographed their engagement images last fall. They’ve been enduring the struggles of long distance with Phil living and working in Alaska. Now, they’re finally married and will be continuing their story together in the great white north.

Their wedding and reception were an intimate celebration at the Hickory Street Annex in Dallas. It’s a great place for a celebration and I was proud to be a part of Rachel and Phil’s. I wish the two of you my very best and am proud to have been trusted to be your wedding photographer!

Wendy and Luke’s Engagement Session in McKinney, Texas

Wendy and Luke are comfortable with themselves. That is the simplest way I can describe being around them. There is nothing forced or un-natural about their comfort with each other. They are the kind of couple that create a natural rhythm to my photography and I just go along for the ride.

Their wedding is coming up in just a few short weeks and will be a small affair with only the closest friends and family who really matter. I can’t wait to be along for the ride! Thanks Luke and Wendy!

Makenzie and Cody Wedding: St. Michael and All Angels-Stoneleigh Hotel

I’m proud to know Makenzie and Cody. You may have seen their engagement images from New Orleans a few weeks ago. I had to leave my wife, Lee home with our new daughter and Makenzie was nice enough to write Lee a note thanking her for letting me get away for a couple of days. Definitely the kind of people I love to work with.

Their wedding was no different. Our friends and family are reflections of who we are and I enjoyed every minute around Makenzie and Cody’s, even with the heat.

There were many great moments, here are a few of mine.

Michelle and Robert at Perkins Chapel in Dallas

I met Michelle and Robert over a year ago and instantly liked them. They have a very peaceful way about them. You know instantly that they’re the kind of folks that are easy to be around.

Robert and Michelle were married late last May at Perkins Chapel on the SMU campus in Dallas and celebrated afterwords at the Omni Park West.

Makenzie and Cody’s Wedding Guest Book

These albums are such a blast to make! I just finished Makenzie and Cody’s guest book design. I use the amazing Fundy Album Builder to design my layouts in Photoshop and the Fundy Album Proofer to preview the designs online. Sydney Leigh Holland

Lee and I are happy beyond words with the new member of our family. Baby Sydney Leigh was born on May 5th and has brought us nothing but joy. Anyone with children can understand the excitement we feel as we’ve begun to watch her grow.

We’re a month in and it’s gonna be a fun ride!
