Christina Aguilera who was recently seen in the movie Burlesque, says her next album will be “honest and raw”.

Christina, who in recent months has been hounded in the press for her ballooning weight, said the songs would reflect her struggles over the past year.

“I’m recording my next album right now, and I’m really excited because I find myself in a very introspective stage of my life,” she said during an interview to promote the upcoming season of her reality series The Voice.  ”I’ve learned so much, have experienced so much, in leaps and bounds. It’s a journey of growth for me, continuously throughout my career. I’m excited to put it all down on paper through my lyrics and my voice.”

The album will be a follow up to 2010′s Bionic. 

Last week she was seen at Los Angeles Legoland celebrating her son Max’s 4^th Birthday.

The singer, along with boyfriend Matt Rutler, headed to California’s Legoland to celebrate Max’s fourth birthday.  The threesome, along with about 16 others, spent around five hours at the amusement park, and enjoyed time in Miniland Las Vegas and Hideaways. They also rode Treasure Falls and Lost Kingdom Adventure, and Max drove a car in Volvo Junior Driving School, an onlooker tells PEOPLE.

The singer shared her fond memories after the trip: “Spent today at Legoland with the love of my life. Happy bday Max!” Aguilera Tweeted.

To top off the day, Legoland created a vanilla cake with vanilla frosting and LEGO brick décor on it for Max. The birthday boy also got a birthday button when he got there – and he wore it the entire time.

The new season of The Voice kicks off on February 5.

So far reaching has the celebrity endorsement business grown; there are now start-up firms whose sole purpose is to match celebrities with brands to advertise. Some celebrities are known to command as much as $10,000 per 140-character tweet. But, clearly, businesses see this practice as a viable investment as it continues to grow unabated.

Celebrity endorsements have been around since the dawn of the entertainment business. P.T. Barnum was said to be one of the most prolific hucksters history has known. There were, of course, many others; especially professional athletes who have – since the days of Ted Williams and Babe Ruth – had a penchant for sales as a significant salary adjuster.

It seems there is no limit to products celebrities will endorse. Their advertisements have been especially good for weight loss diets, retail fashion and other lifestyle-oriented products. While the business has been especially healthy since the late 1970s when Olympian Bruce Jenner’s smiling face graced the now-ubiquitous Wheaties cereal box and launched a cottage industry among athletes. Now, the business has grown so much, many top athletes have sponsorship deals with values that eclipse their actual playing contracts.

The advent of social media has added another layer to the celebrity endorsement landscape; one that is not always transparent. Celebrities seem to be flocking to Twitter especially to promote businesses, services and products in addition to their favorite charitable causes. These tweets are reaching millions of subscribers in some cases at the swipe of a finger. The practice has become familiar enough that you might now notice some celebrities attaching hash tags – such as #ad or #spon – and the end of their tweets to relate their paid aspect.

The real question is not, “When will celebrities stop endorsing products?” But rather, “Does the practice work?” With the overriding influence celebrities and athletes have over popular culture, the answer would almost certainly be yes, at least under certain conditions.

And the Academy Award winning actor and director apparently sees something he likes in former Godfather’s Pizza executive, Herman Cain.

Cain rose out of nowhere to become a frontrunner in the primary race after Texas Governor Rick Perry’s shooting star exploded after several awkward – at best – gaffes that were broadcast worldwide. But just as quickly as he emerged as a front-runner, Cain started having his own problems – namely several women accusing him of inappropriate behavior during his pizza days and several of his own misstatements regarding foreign policy. And then there is the now (in)famous YouTube campaign advertisement featuring his smoking (and we don’t mean hot) campaign manager.

Cain has had some high profile celebrities come out against him – most notably heavyweights Morgan Freeman and Harry Belafonte. Even so, Cain is still gathering some support from the likes of comedian Dennis Miller, real estate mogul Donald Trump, and country music singers Trace Adkins and Lee Greenwood. Even Sarah Palin recently dismissed Cain’s candidacy, calling him “the flavor of the week.”

But Eastwood is more engaged politically than most on that list. The Libertarian former mayor of Carmel, California, who always votes Republican, favors free-market capitalism and is an advocate for cutting the budget without stimulus dollars to stimulate the economy. The director of the J. Edgar Hoover biopic “J. Edgar” seems unbothered by the speed bumps Cain is currently navigating.

“I love Cain’s story,” Eastwood recently told the L.A. Times, in an interview. “He’s a guy who came from nowhere and did well, obviously against heavy odds. He’s a doer and a straight-talker, which I don’t see enough of from either party.”

Strong words for sure. But we haven’t seen Eastwood sporting t shirt or showing up at any fundraising events, so it’s hard to say how deep the movie maverick’s support goes for Cain. Even so, the L.A. Times story should help Cain get some public polling traction nonetheless.

If you’re hankering for Italian food, try the Fabiolus Cafe, found on 6270 Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles. Formosa Cafe – Fancy a drink? This is the place to go. Actually the place offers a lot more than drinks and has an excellent full menu everynight. Formosa Cafe is really frequented by the celebs though mostly just for cocktails. The great thing about Formosa Cafe is that the prices are relatively reasonable and the ambiance will make you fill at ease. Big names that have been spotted there include Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Clark Gable, James Dean, etc (although you surely wouldn’t see them coming again!). Among those alive and breathing big stars that have been seen there include Bono, Nicolas Cage, Britney Spears, Jodie Foster, Kevin Spacey, an more.
