Spooky footage has resurfaced of The Cure's Robert Smith predicting the date that Queen Elizabeth II would die.

In the video, which was filmed in 2012, the singer, 63, can be heard saying that Her Majesty would pass away on September 7.

Twitter users re-shared the clip following the sad news that Queen Elizabeth II died 'peacefully' at Balmoral on September 8, aged 96.

Beau Ryan has defended the new season of The Amazing Race after the show appeared to take a tumble in the TV ratings.

At first glance, the much-hyped return of the real-life adventure series seemed to be a disappointment for Channel 10, drawing just 451,000 metro viewers for its debut last week.

But the 37-year-old claimed on Tuesday the show's real audience was close to double that number.

'Channel 10 should be very happy that the launch episode of Amazing Race has gone up a whopping 28 per cent,' Vickery said in his share.

The debut of the first two episodes of Amazon's The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power last week has brought some racist trolls out of the woodwork... leading to some original Lord of the Rings movie trilogy stars to speak out.

Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan and Billy Boyd took to social media on Wednesday, showcasing new hats and t-shirts with a powerful message written in the Elvish language Neo-Sindarin, which translates to, 'You Are All Welcome Here.'

The shirts, hats and other merchandise were created by Don Marshall, the self-dubbed, 'Obscure Lord of the Rings Facts Guy' who has nearly 600K followers on TikTok, which are currently available on his official website.

Wood simply tweeted, 'You Are All Welcome Here' while tagging @LOTROnPrime and Don Marshall (@DonMarshall72) with the #RingsOfPower hashtag and the link to Marshall's website to purchase the t-shirts.

The show of solidarity came after The Rings of Power debuted on Amazon Prime Video, featuring a number of actors of color in primary roles.

These include Ismael Cruz Cordova as the elf Arondir, dwarf Sophia Nomvete as the dwarf Princess Disa and Nazanin Boniadi as the human Bronwyn.

There has been speculation that racist trolls have been 'review-bombing' the show in the audience ratings on Rotten Tomatoes, with several of the cast members of color getting hateful messages.

Katie Price has revealed that she attempted suicide after suffering from 'anxiety, depression and major trauma' following her horrific 2018 carjacking.

The reality star, 44, admitted she hit rock bottom after she was raped at gunpoint during the ordeal and tried to hang herself, but after passing out she 'saw her kids faces' and realised she 'never wanted it to happen again.'

Katie, who is set to detail her traumatic ordeal in a hard-hitting Channel 4 documentary, previously revealed to MailOnline that she was raped at gunpoint during her 2018 carjacking, which led her to suffer a mental breakdown.

Speaking during the documentary, which airs on Thursday, Katie revealed she came close to taking her own life after reaching rock bottom.

She said: 'I've got anxiety, depression and major trauma and I tried to kill mself. I tried to hang myself. I knocked myself out. I had black eyes, bruises around my neck, I didn't want to be here.

'But all I saw was the kids faces and I don't ever want that to happen again.

'It was a nightmare. I didn't give a s**t if I lived or died. I've been struggling with my mental health for some time.'

In the documentary, which was filmed in the aftermath of her car crash in September 2021, Katie also admitted the accident finally helped her realise she needed help, and she checked into rehab.

She said: 'Getting in the car was a terrible mistake I'm so sorry for. That was a prime example of me having been triggered and not knowing how to handle it, an example of my spiralling out of control because I needed help.'

The reality star also said she'll likely need therapy 'for the rest of her life,' after being diagnosed with PTSD.

Ahead of the documentary, Katie revealed that she was raped during a horrifying carjacking in South Africa in 2018.

She told MailOnline: 'The experience when I was filming with ITV in South Africa, we had no security, if we had security they would have been able to deal with the six guys that jumped us, held me at gunpoint and raped me.'

Katie was thrown out of the vehicle by the attackers, during her journey from Johannesburg to Swaziland in two people carriers with the production crew.

The vehicles were ransacked of laptops, iPads, passports, cash and jewellery – but the robbers left behind a fortune in camera gear which the crew had stored on board. The attackers were never apprehended.

Katie first discussed her harrowing experience during an episode of Channel 4's SAS: Celebrity Who Dares Wins in 2020, where she said: 'Police said it was a miracle they didn't kill us.'

During her new Channel 4 show, she candidly revealed: 'I hit severe depression a couple of years ago, depression on top of PTSD, I was suicidal, didn't want to be here. I tried to kill myself.

Katie detailed: 'I have had my eyes opened about a lot. When you go in The Priory, people assume that it must be for drinks or drugs.

'I have never ever been in The Priory for drink, drugs or addiction. I have been in the priory for trauma rehabilitation for PTSD.'

She continued: 'Because of what people believe, it affects me. There is a stigma that if you go in The Priory, you are a wrong 'un [one], but that's not true.

'I think people who go in there are brave because they are facing their demons and whatever their problems are to make themselves a better person.

'Mental health, it doesn't matter how big or how small that my seem, if it's big to someone then it's big to them. It's just different. Anything can happen.'

Speaking about the dark place she experienced with her mental health at the time of last year's horrific drink-drive crash, Katie explained: 'I live in the countryside, I had no outlet, I needed to talk to someone and that night I let myself down.'

'I am not justifying anything, there was a reason why I got in the car and why my head was like that.

The former glamour model, who still goes to therapy, said: 'I might be 44 now and have therapy each week, but I wish I would have done this years ago. It would have stopped a lot of things that I might have said or reacted to.

'I have to accept [certain situations] and not bite back to anything anymore.

'It's hard for me to say because I don't want to sound bitter and I am not bitter. I speak to my therapist now about my situations.'

She added: 'I think people who go in there are brave because they are facing their demons and whatever their problems are to make themselves a better person'

As she deals with her PTSD and past trauma, Katie continued: 'I feel like I have to protect myself. I don't put anything on Instagram anymore. I don't need to justify myself anymore. I don't owe anything to anyone.

'I don't go on Instagram anymore and say, 'Well this is wrong,' it crosses my mind and then I countdown, and by the time I am at zero, I am just like 'Oh forget it.'

'I feel better and I feel stronger for that. I don't need to rectify or prove anything to anyone. I know the truth. I have grown up!'

In her latest documentary, Katie discusses what caused her mental health to deteriorate and the step's that she is taking in her recovery.

'There's a lot in the programme but there is a hell of a lot I haven't put in there, it's only 45 minutes but there is enough to know that I have been suffering,' she said.

Michelle Heaton looked incredible on Saturday as she slipped into a daring black mesh dress while performing on stage in Halifax.

The singer, 43, joined her Liberty X bandmates Kelli Young, 40, and Jessica Taylor, 42, for sizzling performance at Calderdale Pride.

Michelle pulled out all the stops in her ensemble, flashing a glimpse of her gym-honed figure in the see-through dress beneath which she wore a black bra and sparkling pants.

She swept her brunette locks up into a sharp ponytail and added a glamorous palette of make-up as she belted out tracks with her girls.

Meanwhile, Kelli and Jessica also looked gorgeous in similar black outfits, with the trio also sporting a rainbow trim on their ensembles.

It comes after Michelle candidly reflected on her addiction battle last month as she praised Vicky Pattison for being 'very honest' in her new alcohol documentary.

The singer took to Instagram to share a throwback selfie of herself from more than 15 months ago when she was in 'active addition'.

In a lengthy caption, she opened up about feeling like she was causing her husband Hugh Hanley and their kids Faith, ten, and AJ, eight, 'pain' amid her alcohol addiction.

Michelle candidly said that she was 'going to die' but felt 'powerless' and 'couldn't stop' until she accepted that she was an addict and followed a 12-step programme.

Her comments came in response to watching Vicky Pattison's Channel 4 documentary Alcohol, Dad And Me, which looks at her relationship with her father John, who has struggled with alcoholism for much of his life.

Michelle admitted that she saw herself in John's battle with alcoholism as she praised the TV personality, 34, for being 'very honest' in her new documentary.

She penned: 'This WAS me over 15 months ago, In active addiction. As an addict, I couldn't see, the turmoil, pain and hurt I caused my daughter, husband and loved ones.

'And I applaud that! If you or anyone you love is suffering there is help out there. And shows like this helps spread the word.

'In MY experience similar to Vicky's dad, I was never in control, I couldn't stop even though I wanted to. I HATED it, but had to have it. Was going to die, but couldn't stop. Could never be honest, with myself or others.

Michelle recently celebrated 14 months of sobriety after checking into The Priory in April last year in a bid to beat her alcohol addiction.

Speaking about going into the Priory in April 2021 to spend four weeks in rehabilitation, Michelle previously said: 'I was so scared that day but I knew I had nothing left. I was trapped in the four walls of my disease and I had nowhere to turn.'

The actress, 42, cut a glamorous figure in a diamanté-studded champagne mesh dress which she bizarrely paired with ballet shoes by the fashion house.

Katherine showed off her toned figure beneath the semi-sheer dress, with the beauty donning a light underwear set beneath.

The film star looked in good spirts as she posed on the red carpet alongside the likes of Emma Appleton, Lili Reinhart, Natasha Lyonne, Janicza Bravo and Kelsey Lu.

Attracting the biggest stars, the film festival is held annually on the island of the Lido in the Venice Lagoon. With movie screenings taking place in the historic Palazzo del Cinema on the Lungomare Marconi.

This year's line up will see divisive biopic Blonde, starring Ana De Armas as tragic screen icon Marilyn Monroe, battle it out for the competition's top accolade.

Brendan Fraser's moving drama The Whale, where he plays an obese professor, will also compete alongside films starring Cate Blanchett, Hugh Jackman and Colin Farrell.

Greta Gerwig, Adam Driver, and Don Cheadle star in the comedy horror and the film will also be part of the competition category.

Luca Guadagnino's coming of age horror romance Bones and All, starring Timothee Chalamet, will also battle it out in the competition segment, alongside the likes of Joanna Hogg's The Eternal Daughter featuring Tilda Swinton.
