The New Santa Monica Place Opening August 6th

The new Santa Monica Place is due to open on August 6th, 2010.

Having ripped open the roof opening the mall to the skies they have taken advantage of the proximity to the ocean, something the old mall never did.

New stories include the only Bloomingdale’s SoHo concept store outside Manhattan and a new Nordstrom, as well as several exciting new specialty stores.

There will be a Dining Deck taking advantage of the spectacular ocean views.

Santa Monica is going to be a true entertainment destination with the combination of the new Santa Monica Place, Third Street Promenade with its street artists, restaurants and movies and, of course, Santa Monica Pier.
