I was a skeptic of hoodia at first. It sounded too good to be true. I also saw many mixed reviews of the product working for some people and not others. The first day I tried this product, I was not hungry at all. That does not mean that I have not been eating. It is expensive but I did some research on Hoodia before choosing this product to buy and found that there were only 2 Hoodia products on the market that contain 100 per cent Hoodia and Desert Burn is one of the two companys. It is working very well for me... I take 2 capsules an hour before meal time and it really controls my hunger so that I don't feel the urge to over eat. Normally I can outeat anyone at the table. I have not noticed any side effects with this product. I would caution anyone buying this product to know that the effects of the Hoodia wear off after about an hour to an hour and half. So, in between meals you need to control snacking.

I went to the health food store and asked a salesperson for his recommendation on an appetite suppressant. He gave me 3 types, I asked him to pick one, he recommended Hoodia Extract by Source Naturals. Surprisingly, the stuff seems to work with no side effects. I took it that evening as I had just finished spin and an hour of weights back-to-back and this combination usually makes my hunger go crazy and I'll eat way more than I burned. It didn't occur to me until the next day that this stuff could have been a stimulant, thank goodness it isn't. Very surprised but the stuff seems to have kept my hunger in check!!!

I took it the next day too and it helped me be satisfied with just eating broccoli for dinner as that is all that would fit within the remainder of that day's calorie allowance.

I purchased this product from amazon about a week ago. After reading about this product I was really looking forward to trying it. I took several capsules today and noticed a strange mint or eucaluptus smell that lasted for a while. I normally get ravenous when i get home from work, so i took a couple capsules an hour before getting home. Unfortunately this had no effect on my appetite whatsoever. I still felt like snacking before dinner, and I also felt abnormally agitated - as if i had low blood sugar. Unfortunately I paid for two bottles of this stuff - very dissapointing.

I bought the product for my wife, not overweight but wanted to get rid of baby fat from pregnancy. It is not a miracle product but it does what it claims, curbs your appetite. My wife claimed that the product was most effective in the beginning but the effect worn off the longer she used it. I've had this hoodia combo for about a week and have lost 3 lbs. Thats a lot for anyone but I'm 5'8" and was at 141 now 138. My body tends to cling to weight in the low 140's and getting down is hard. Generally I plateau for weeks here. My goal weight tends to be 133 so it's really really made a quick difference.
I work out but that's not always enough. The Acai / vinegar combo has 125 mg of caffine per tablet and you take two in the morning. I've found that this is my replacement for coffee and it gives me that morning pick me up I always need. I didn't notice the caffine the first day and took them with my coffee and I got VERY jittery) I take my hoodia at the same time. Even on an empty stomach I have no nausea or jitters like many diet pills. I tend to have a sensitive stomach with these sort of things.

I started my new year's resolution that i was going to lose 24 pounds this year. I started in January by improving my diet but I still had some cravings that were getting in the way of my success. I purchased these at the end of January and have been taking them every day. I noticed after about a week that my weight was dropping and I was craving chips and other snacks much less. My only criticism is that you can buy these at a better price if you buy then in the 3 pack choice. I had reordered another set before I found that out. I live a very hectic lifestyle and don't always have the ability to hit the gym and eat right. It was definitely showing in my waist line.
