Time for my first Bout of Books 7.0 Challenge!

Escape Through the Pages has challenged us to create a poem out of book spines. Sounds easy enough, right? The catch is, that you can only add in as many extra words as you have books. *phew* This one took me a while to figure out, but here's what I came up with!

My Dark Life

like a Forbidden

Game

No, Not That Kind of Girl

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 13th and runs through Sunday, May 19th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, <div class="feedflare">

It seems it has been a few months since I've done on of these. No time like the present!

Time to spotlight some books and hopefully add them to your ever growing TBR pile.

So, sit back and relax, while I share with you some books that I am loving/pining for and think you should too.

Sunday/Monday - Book Review: The Magic Circle

Looking for a more intelligent thriller? Jenny Davidson weaves a story that draws on myth and legend, turning it into something completely intriguing.

Tuesday - Book Review: 24 Bones

Michael Stewart's story really blew me away. Rich with undertones of history and religion, it is a story that flies by. Highly recommended!

As I mentioned earlier today marks the day my blog turns a whopping THREE YEARS OLD!

*wipes tears* They grow up so fast...

Anyway I'll be celebrating all week by sharing some goodies with you, talking about what I love about blogging, and just being all around silly. I mean really, that's what I'm all about anyway. Am I right? Bring on the festivities!
