Now, since I'm a bibliophile, I can't think of a better way to spread love than in bookish form. 



Below are four very different books, each one dealing with that age old quest for love. 

All were read in 2011, and still are my favorites.

I had a very good time creating and inhabiting and utilizing the character of Grandma Post. In fact, I came to love her scenes so much that she eventually emerged on the page much more fully than I’d probably originally intended. Now that I’ve been done writing about her for quite awhile I actually miss her sometimes. That probably sounds strange, but it’s true.

On Fantasy World-Building

I've been a lifelong fan of fantasy fiction. Perhaps that isn't saying much given that I've yet to reach my thirtieth year, but nonetheless I've read an awful lot of it. Since you are some of the most bookish people I know dear readers, I come to you with a call for help!

I work in an after school program with kindergartners. Our library of books for them is sadly lacking, since this is the first year we've had a kindergarten program. It's so sad! Oh to be surrounded by wonderful books.
