Snaffle bits are the most common bits used for schooling, however many horses aren’t handled using it. Some pointers in finding the right bit are the following:
- check for stronger bits. For example, pelham.

- additional parts that go with the bit, like a new mouth piece or a flash.

-maybe your horse needs something to chew on or play with on the bit. Some bits have extentions to them that are really useful

-ALWAYS CHECK THE SIZE. If the size of the bit is not the ideal one it can cause injuries, bleeding and general discomfort.

Moving Through the Gaits.
