Our float will be in "The Street Parade" on Saturday the 23rd of August. <span style="font-style: italic;"><br /><br />But we need help! </span>Any interest in helping in the parade by being a member of the crew on the float? It was the first blue sky day in days of rain! The kids were from 4 youth groups plus a few local families.<br /><br />We played 2 games and the kids got very involved. The sauna only got to 50 degrees due to 30 kids going in and out, the kayaks were in continuous use and many of our hardy aussie kids braved the 14 degree water. We had supper and then a huge group of about 30 went to the glowworm tunnel and it sounded as if the train was back! Another group went on a night walk through bush, creeks and past the cows – quite freaky!<br /><br />A perfect day and what seemed like the launch of “Katapult”<br /><br />We plan to enter a float in the Banana festival. As the theme is “Medieval Madness”, we will put Katapult on the float and invite the crowd for an all day Katapult session the following Sunday the 31st. We need lots of participating combatants!
