Where there's a reality show, there's bound to be a hotel connection. And that's just what we found while catching up on some old episodes of "Shark Tank" this past weekend.

Villy Customs is a high-fashion bicycle designer that lets you customize your ride from the seat to the wheels right down to the bell that you put on the handles.

While Villy Customs is mainly an online business (and a pricey one too with full bikes costing about $500+) we did some research and saw that they have a partnership with Omni Hotels. As it turns out, you can buy a piece of Villy at the Omni Dallas at the hotel's expansive Collections

Thanks to relatively low room rates for a high style hotel in Manhattan, the Hotel Americano is quickly making a name for itself. In fact, we have several friends who just go there for coffee or drinks. Now, were this fifty years ago, we'd all be talking instead about the Hotel Americana, the hot new hotel on the scene in 1962.

The Americana, at 7th Avenue and 52nd Street, towered 51 stories above Midtown and had 2,000 guestrooms, plus five restaurants and numerous ballrooms. Real-life Mad Men—the ad men of Madison Avenue—would absolutely have known it and gone for meetings and/or trysts there.

New York: Will The Hyatt Union Square in NYC Still Open in July?

We've been tracking the opening of Hyatt Union Square in New York for quite some time now, getting excited about the good eats coming to the hotel and the funky guestroom designs. But the question remains--when will this hotel open?

According to NYC & Company, the city's tourism organization which also tracks the development and openings of new hotels, the hotel should open in July. But we're not seeing so many good signs for that.

For starters, there's no website and of course, no reservations are being taken. Also, it looks like the hotel has a few key staffing positions to fill, like that of general manager.

While Sheraton Partners Up with Wine Spectator, Four Points Remains the Place for BestBrews

If you're staying at a Sheraton Hotel this summer, expect to find a new sort of happy hour in their lobbies.

USA Today reports that Sheraton has partnered up with Wine Spectator magazine to create a Social Hour where guests can sample premium wines with high grades from Wine Spectator. Beyond wine-tasting (sorry, no full free glasses will be poured), Sheraton will also unveil a new menu, Sheraton Selects, that pairs food with certain wines.

The Social Hour program is set to go worldwide with Sheraton Hotels in Phoenix, Boston, Los Angeles and Chicago kicking it off next week. The rest of Sheratons should follow suit by June 1.
