The lyrics and the tune are very similar to the 1971 hit ballad “A Horse with No Name,” a No. 1 hit single for the group America in 1971.

“The band was honored that Michael chose to do their song and they hope it becomes available for all Michael’s fans to hear,” Jim Morey, America’s current manager, told TMZ.

Morey was also Jackson’s manager in the late 1980s and early 1990s, according to TMZ.

The 40-year old actress, still best-known for her role in NBC’s ‘Friends,’ is reported to be getting up-close and personal with co-star, Gerard Butler, while filming ‘The Bounty’ in Atlantic City.

In the movie, Jen plays Gerard’s ex-wife, and his job as a bounty hunter requires him to arrest her. But the pair’s behavior, both on and off-set, has made people wonder if there’s something between them, and neither actor is exactly dispelling the talk.

“After they finish a scene, they stick around so they can hang out with each other,” says one source. “Neither is in any rush to leave.”

The two met at the Toronto Film Festival in September and the rumors were instant. Now their work on the set may have fanned all those sparks to a flame, “Jen and Gerard often practice kissing scenes - even after the cameras stop rolling. And Jen will say, ‘I think we need to do that again,’” a source told The Mail. “She says Gerard’s a great kisser.’

And 39-year old Gerard’s also said to be keen, “He’s been after Jen since Toronto!” says one insider. “He really has a thing for her and wants to date her - at least, that’s what he’s telling Jen.”

But this isn’t exactly Jen’s first movie fling – Right after her divorce from Brad Pitt in October ‘05 she met Vince Vaughn on the set of her 2006 turkey, ‘The Break Up.’ That lasted a year. Next was male model, Paul Sculfor, then an on/off fling with John Meyer that kept us here at Hot Momma in headlines for months.

When that flamed-out in March, Jen was instantly smitten with her ‘Hangover’ co-star, Bradley Cooper - and was said to be ‘crushed’ when he told reporters the pair were ‘just friends.’

“It made her look desperate, which is the one thing she dreads,” says a friend. “She had no idea why Bradley denied they were dating - she just assumed he wanted things kept private. But when she confronted him, he let her down easy. Now she feels used and upset, and her dating life’s back at square one.”

But don’t fret for poor Jen – love’s not too far: With six films in development, her fondness for co-stars should keep her love-struck for days!

Before she checked into rehab, Mischa told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show, “I don’t ever intend to do something this stupid again.”

All of which causes concern when you learn that Mischa, 23, called the LAPD yesterday and asked for medical assistance, “Shortly after 3 p.m., a patrol car responded to her home to assist her with medical issues,” Karen Rayner of the LAPD told E News. “No-one was arrested and no-one else was involved.”

It’s not known if these ‘issues’ were resolved on the scene, but the London-born actress was then ‘escorted to another location,’ according to the LAPD. Was that a hospital? They wouldn’t say. And Mischa’s reps are not sharing a word.

Jon, 32, is now dating Hailey Glassman, the 22-year old daughter of Kate’s tummy-tuck surgeon, and the new couple have  been making some plans. Sources confirm the pair had a secret meeting aboard fashion designer Christian Audigier’s yacht last weekend, at which Hollywood’s favorite jeweler, Edouard Nahum, showed the new lovebirds a selection of rings.

The winning item was a 24ct-gold skull, surrounded by four, glorious black diamonds. Price? $180,000.

“They’re engaged, but nobody is allowed to say.” a source close to Edouard confirmed.”We’ve been warned to keep it a secret.”

And what do you when you’re secretly hitched? You wear your flashy new ring to the club so your friends can find out, natch! And that’s just what Hailey has done – the girl was seen schmoozing and dancing at the VIP Room in St. Tropez late Monday night, with the new rock on her finger for the whole world to see. “Hailey was flashing her ring around, and she and Jon were kissing and hugging,” says a fellow clubber.

Next on the schedule is a wedding, of course. And the venue is currently Vegas. “They are already talking about staying at the Venetian on their wedding night, and what sort of dress she’ll wear,” we are told.

Winehouse, 25, burst on the scene with her multi-Grammy-winning album “Back to Black” in 2006. But her career since then has been blighted by drugs ( Fielder-Civil admitted intriducing Amy to hard drugs), repeated arrests and a marriage that was more like an undeclared war.

The couple were married in June 2007, but a few weeks later the groom was in jail for assault. And things clearly went downhill from there. In the court documents, Blake, 27, says he found living with Amy ‘intolerable.’ For her part, Amy acknowledged constant drug usage and several affairs and agreed not to contest the divorce. The split now becomes final in six weeks and a day.

Amy spent the last few months on the Caribbean island of St.Lucia, desperately trying to break her drug habit and rekindle the talent that won her five Grammys in one single year. But her comeback so far has been ridiculed by both the press and her fans, and she is due to stand trial in London next week on a charge of assault. If found guilty she’d be back in jail for up to three years, so her future career is not looking good.

According to the New York Post, Jefferson was scheduled to marry former New Jersey Nets dancer Kesha Ni’Cole Nichols. Jefferson, formerly of the Nets, was recently traded from Milwaukee to San Antonio and evidently also broke off his engagement with his fiancée, just before the weekend, according to sources.

She immediately called her family and friends to say the ceremony was off. But Jefferson waited much longer, to tell his guests.

Many showed up at the Mandarin Oriental in New York City expecting to see a wedding but instead they found that Jefferson had gone MIA. However, he did lend his friend his AMEX Black credit card and told him to treat the guests to a fun night without him.

As we reported on Friday, new evidence apparently points to the anesthesia drug, Propofol [aka, ‘Diprivan,’] as the prime cause of death. Several vials of the drug were found in the Holmby Hills mansion which Michael was renting when he died on June 25.

Sources also confirm there is ‘plenty of powerful evidence’ that links Dr, Conrad Murray – the physician appointed by those in charge of Michael’s comeback at London’s 02 arena – as the person who administered what may soon be regarded as the critical dose.

Officers with the LAPD have had ‘multiple conversations’ with Dr. Murray, but his lawyer would give no clues on their outcome, or even confirm that his client gave Jackson the drug. The Doctor has not yet been served with subpoenas or warrants, and the LAPD would only describe their inquiry as ‘active and ongoing.’

Since Michael’s loss, a large quantity of Propofol has been recalled by the makers, Teva Pharmaceuticals, after samples were found by the FDA to be contaminated. It’s not yet known if Mr. Jackson was given any of the tainted product.

Mr. Arquette, a well-known home-decor geek, was addressing reporters from his new habitat in a small plastic box, dangling high over Madison Square Garden, where he’s raising awareness for the ‘Feeding America’ cause.

In 1996’s first Scream, David, 37, played Deputy Dwight ‘Dewey’ Riley and was slated to die - but test audiences loved the character so much, the script got re-written and Dave returned in both 97’s Scream II, and the critically-savaged third outing that bowed in 2000.

And he is clearly quite jazzed by the prospect of part four; “I fell in love with Courteney on ‘Scream,’ so the opportunity to bring Dewey back, and for her to play that bitchy character again is going to be really fun,” he told the guys up at E.

One star who is not, so far, on board to return is Neve Campbell, but David told reporters he thinks she’ll agree.

When quizzed on the story, Arquette turned coquette, “Kevin has put out the broad strokes, but I don’t think I’m at liberty to share.” was his close-lipped reply. The premiere is scheduled for October next year.
