A magazine is the section of the gun that stores and supplies the bullet to the chamber which is attached to a repeating firearm. When a gun holder fires a gun, the magazine operates by relocating the cartridges stored inside into a position where they may be loaded into the chamber to create impact. A detachable magazine is often referred to as a ‘clip’ and are heavily regulated by gun control laws because it is an important piece of most repeating firearm.  
Gun magazines are created in many shapes and sizes such as bolt action express rifles, that hold only a few rounds to machine guns that can hold hundreds of rounds. The guns that accept a wide variety of magazine usually use a box or drum magazine and some handguns can even feed from both magazines and belts. The most commonly used of magazine in modern firearms are the removable box type magazines. This cartridge in this magazine is located in either the column in a staggered zig zag manner or with each bullet placed one above the other. When the firearm starts to fire, then the cartridges are shifted to the top of the magazine by another bullet forced by spring tension to either a side by side or a single feed position.  
Certain gun magazines like single or multiple tubular magazine are used in most lever action rifles, and pump action shotguns whether round or flat nose. These magazines hold cartridges end to end  inside of a spring loaded tube, running parallel to the barrel or in the buttstock and is normally fixed to the firearm when being used. The main problem with tubular magazines was that when the bullet tip makes impact with the primer of the cartridge ahead of it during recoil, it would often times catch fire which made it very unsafe to use so it was made obsolete within armed forces when the pointed ‘splitzer’ bullets were introduced.
There are also cylindrical designed magazines like drum and rotary magazines which has a larger capacity than box magazines. Drum magazines are used primarily in light machines guns like the Heckler & Koch MG36, but these magazines are less reliable and complicated. In some drum magazines, the cylindrical chamber forces the loose rounds into an exit slot while the cartridge stays parallel to the axis of rotation. When the magazine is filled, then a wound spring forces the partition against the rounds. A single staggered column is pushed by a follower through a curved path. From there the rounds enter the vertical riser either from a single or dual drums. Other types of magazines include, Pan and Helical. There are also special high capacity magazines that were made to hold way more cartridges that the normal capacity but such magazines are usually banned. Magazine capacity is often limited by the design of the firearm, like for example internal, tubular, or rotary ones. Many pistols and rifle magazines are considered as “high capacity” by gun regulatory laws are really the factory standard magazines originally made for use with their respective firearms.

The brain will let the dominant eye take charge with an unobstructed view of the target object. This enables persons to aim and shoot quickly at target objects versus iron sights and telescopes.  
There are three different types of reflex sights, open sights, full tube sights and small tube sights. Open sights which are also called a mini reflex sights needs works with only one reflective surface. Generally it is lighter than full tube sights and don’t come installed with filters and other accessory options. Full tube sights are constructed with a cylindrical tube that has an optic glass which resembles a standard telescope sight. What makes arguing that the issue of gay marriage is a civil rights issue is my lack of understanding about why there is any argument at all. As I understand them, civil rights ensure equality for all. If you deny a demographic a right enjoyed by others simply because of who they are, then their civil rights are being violated. Case closed.

            But there are those who argue otherwise. Their arguments against gay marriage take many directions, but their oppositions are usually rooted in religion. This not only violates civil rights but also the constitutional separation of church and state. Oppositions to gay marriage trace back to religion so often, in fact, that I would argue that Proposition 8 is unconstitutional and any judge worthy of their position should see that.

            I will quickly dismiss the emptiest of arguments (though I admit there was much competition here). There are those who argue that the recognition of only heterosexual marriage has always been the case. That may be so, but I hope I don’t have to illustrate how slippery a slope the “has always been the case” argument can be. With the ‘has always been the case’ mentality, we never would have abolished slavery, given women the right to vote, passed the Civil Rights Act, and accomplished so many other things that we now casually accept as fundamental human rights. As a footnote, the ‘has always been the case’ crowd likes to add that though the Founding Fathers may not have specified that marriage defined as consisting of a man and a woman, that is what they meant. You know what? I don’t doubt that. I also don’t think that the Founding Fathers would have approved of interracial marriage.  But that is precisely why we have constitutional amendments and changing of laws. As we liberate our minds from antiquated conventions, we fix the constrictions that hinder us.

            Then there are the ‘end of civilization’ criers whose main quarrel with gay marriage is that homosexual couples can’t reproduce. Sadly, this is an argument that even many of us heterosexuals encounter all too often. One of the main offenses launched against interracial marriage was that it would bring the end of a ‘pure race’. No, this didn’t come from Adolf Hitler or anyone on the Third Reich. This comes from middle-class all-American citizens even to this day. Without going off into the tangent that this argument works only if you believe in the superficiality of racial differences, I still find it ridiculous that people would think that, somehow, because some people chose to date outside of their race, same-race couples would stop reproducing. When this argument is applied to gay marriage, even more holes pop out. I wonder if the same people who think gays should be denied the right to marry because they can’t reproduce (incidentally, when a homosexual couple genuinely wants to raise a child that would otherwise lack a good home, these very same people are the first to protest) would also deny the right to marry for a heterosexual couple that can’t or (gasp!) doesn’t want to have children. Besides, if this is their main issue with gay marriage than whether or not gays marry is beside the point. Married or not, homosexual couples will not reproduce. Given that, I don’t see why they wouldn’t want to at least partially fulfill their traditionalist bubble by letting them marry.

            I won’t waste time to controvert religious fringe groups. If there is one thing I’ve learned it’s that you can’t argue with fundamentalists. Suffice to say, then, that barring the happiness and freedom of two people simply because they think what they’re doing is immoral is not only wrong on all levels but also illegal, and they know it. Maybe I am just one of those ‘do-gooders that doesn’t know what he’s talking about’, as I was labeled by a wing-nut with whom I was debating gun control on an internet forum, but I can’t see anything wrong about two people loving each other. Remember, the sad reality of the times we live in is that it takes a lot of courage for gays to be open about their homosexuality and even more courage to fight for their rights. You can be sure that the gay couples who chose to fight for their right to marry are dead serious about their devotion and love to each other. I don’t see how anybody can have anything but admiration for such people. If you can’t respect their right to happiness simply because they are gay, then the problem is with you. No one is asking you to attend a gay wedding, associate with gay couples, or even “agree” with gay marriage. That is your right. What you don’t have a right to do is bar anyone’s pursuit of happiness because you don’t like who they are.

            I almost flew over the edge the other day when I stumbled on a group on Facebook supporting California Proposition 8. One woman posted on the wall saying that she was happy the proposition passed because Christians have rights too. Ho-ho-ho, how common it is of the victor to cry victimhood. Is anyone denying Christians the right to practice their religion? Are Christians being asked to agree with gay marriage and attend the ceremonies? No, so please don’t play the victim card with me.

            And no, nobody has the right to vote on gay marriage. Normally, I fully encourage the government to act on the will of the people but whether or not two people marry is up to them and them alone. Third parties have no say in such a personal decision. Some call it progress, but I think that just the fact that outsiders have a say on whether or not a homosexual couple has a right to marry like everyone else, is in itself offensive. Civil rights are, after all, a fundamental pillar to a country that prides itself as the ‘land of the free’. If gays are denied the right to marry, then how can anyone be safe from discrimination? This is why it is in the greatest interest of all Americans to eliminate Proposition 8. It contradicts the very concept of the United States.

The Infrastructure Planning Commission (IPC) has just gone live and will be responsible for determining planning applications for energy projects above 50 MW, or in the case of offshore wind, 100 MW. The IPC is expected to greatly speed up the planning process for new projects, something the government has been severely criticised for in the past. Some of the new projects that the IPC will be considering include projects belonging to RWE AG (PINKSHEETS:RWEOY) (Essen, Germany), Centrica plc (PINKSHEETS:CPYYY) (Windsor, England) and Renewable Energy Systems Limited (Kings Langley, Hertfordshire, England).

In the meantime Germany cancels an agreement with Iran due to Israeli pressures. Israeli sources reported that Germany has decided to cancel a trade agreement signed between a German company and Iran to rebuild the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas.

“Italy, in assessing international sanctions against Iran to try to stop its policy of expanding nuclear power, will primarily safeguard the best interests of peace rather than defend the trade and industrial relations with Tehran” said the Secretary General of the Ministry Giampiero Massolo during a press conference with U.S. Ambassador to Italy, David H. Thorne.

Italian Foreign Minister Frattini warned that “against Iran” there is needs sanctions shared as well as a single European voice to condemn the violence and provocation.

The Bismarck guidelines for creating a super state required a main point: you need a common enemy. Today enemies are Iran and Islam.

The Obama speech at the Al-Hazar University in Cairo does count anything, is the wrong approach and Europeans with German leadership have perfectly realize his limitation.

The Senate’s official gatekeeper, said the Drudge Report, a conservative news aggregator, and whitepages.com “are responsible for the many viruses popping up throughout the Senate,” according to an e-mail to the Environment and Public Works Committee.

In the very body sworn to protect and defend the Constitution, an e-mail is circulating warning U.S. Senate staffers not to view one of the most popular news sites on the Web, claiming it could spread computer viruses.

The Senate Sergeant-at-Arms, the chamber’s official gatekeeper, said the Drudge Report, a  news aggregator, and whitepages.com, a telephone directory site, “are responsible for the many viruses popping up throughout the Senate,” according to an e-mail from the Environment and Public Works Committee obtained by FoxNews.com.

Another e-mail from a separate office warned that staffers who had visited the Drudge Report or White Pages had experienced viruses on their PCs. “Please avoid using these sites until the Senate resolves this issue,” the e-mail read. “The Senate has been swamped the last couples of days with this issue.”

But the Drudge Report suggested that politics might be behind the warning, noting in an original story that the e-mail came as the “health care drama in the Capitol reaches a grand finale.” The Drudge Report noted that it served more than 29 million pages Monday without an e-mail complaint about “‘pop ups,’ or the site serving ‘viruses. The site was seen 149,967 times since March 1st from users at senate.gov and 244,347 times at house.gov. [10,825 visits from the White House, eop.gov]” the Drudge Report wrote.

Sensing that there is a full court press on to advance the healthcare bill, others are taking note.

Major business groups say President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul is a job killer, and they’re launching a multimillion-dollar ad campaign to take that message to voters. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Manufacturers, and groups ranging from contractors to retailers said Tuesday the Democratic health care bills would raise their expenses, while failing to control health care costs.

Advertisements will start airing nationwide Wednesday on cable television and shift in a few days to 17 states, targeting moderate and conservative Democrats whose votes are critical to passing the bill in the House. The campaign is estimated to cost between $4 million and $10 million, with the insurance industry paying part of the cost.
