Beyond iconic, Bettie Page born April 22, 1923 passed this evening at the age of 85 in Los Angeles. A pop deity, Page's influence during her rather short stint as the world's most famous pin-up is incomparable. Thank you, Miss. God bless you.

We've loved Janelle/Wonderland Society's work for about a year now. The direction of production team, Outkast - mainly Big Boi, wasn't lost on the sound of the group headed by "Cindy Mayweather". It also wasn't the only reason why we loved her.
Yes, we'll admit we got really worried when she signed with P. Diddy. Her original sound and message was so compelling, inspirational and made me particularly optimistic for R+B (in whatever modern tone it's now taken). Yet, this first video release for Many Moons, a track released prior to her signing, is bringing back hope. Solangel Knowles and Rihanna can thank Janelle for the obvious inspiration.

Hmmm... So the lingerie mogul put a little rubber on this year's runway which was done well (who was that - is that House Of Harlot?), tons of costume body jewelry and piecemealed lingerie pieces. To give VS credit, we understand the concept of the "show piece" versus the actual product, but really?! Some of this year's looks appear a little tacked together.
