The Fifth Edition is a return to the grand collection format, billions of years of science and history. Collected, curated, and artfully displayed, MM5 also happens to be the largest grand collection we've ever produced! Successful crowdfunding launch with over $700,000 raised from our global community of science and history enthusiasts!

As pictured below, the Fifth Edition collection begins with the stellar heart of our solar system. The core of a primitive celestial body formed in the cataclysmic heat and violent aftermath of the sun’s ignition. We'll journey from this exuberant beginning more than 4.6 billion years ago to visit with our closest neighbors in the cosmos.

Turning to Earth, we enter a world bathed in fire. Billions of years pass before the first stirrings of life, and then suddenly, it is everywhere.

We will explore it all… from armored fish in the ocean's depths to the conquest of land, and scrambling creatures covering the surface of our planet. We'll see the largest creatures ever to roam the earth as well as those who evolved to prey upon their majestic forms.

Our own chapter begins with the spark of creativity that has infused humanity since the earliest days. We'll delve into our fascination with the world before us. Soar with a ceaseless desire to explore every vista. We will find conflict and we will celebrate beauty. Then, we will turn outward to the stars, to which we seem so intent on returning.

The Fourth Edition of the Mini Museum is the latest personal collection of rare and unusual objects from Earth and beyond! The Kickstarter for this project funded in just a few minutes and closed with nearly $700,000 in pledges. All told, the Mini Museum has now had four consecutive campaigns succeed on Kickstarter, raising nearly $4MM in total. Love to all of our backers and supporters and to the Kickstarter community as a whole!

The Third Edition of the Mini Museum is the latest personal collection of rare and unusual objects from Earth and beyond! The Kickstarter for this project funded in just six minutes and once more we reached the $1,000,000 mark in pledges. With our third successful project, we join a group of just seven (7) teams who have executed three or more million-dollar campaigns on Kickstarter. Love to all of our backers and supporters and to the Kickstarter community as a whole!

The Second Edition of the Mini Museum continues the adventure from the original project. 26 all-new specimens, massive upgrades. Our Kickstarter funded in just 18 minutes and eventually reached over $1,000,000 in pledges. In seven years, only 14 teams out of hundreds of thousands have executed multiple million-dollar campaigns on the platform. So grateful to everyone who supported this project, especially our amazing backers.

The Mini Museum is an on-going adventure in the world of science and history. This initial project was our first successful Kickstarter in which we raised $1.2M to support the dream of our friend, Hans Fex. Only 0.1% of successful Kickstarters have raised more than $1,000,000. This wouldn't have happened without a lot of great friends and the support of thousands of people around the world.

Age of Dinosaurs is our first personal collection focused on a single topic: the Mesozoic Era. The Kickstarter for this project funded in just a few minutes and closed with over $600,000 in pledges. All told, the Mini Museum has now had five consecutive campaigns succeed on Kickstarter, raising nearly $5MM in total. Designed and created a small, open source javascript calendar component. It wasn't complex but it was fun to operate my first open source project and work with other developers who just needed simple functionality like this. Written in Javascript.

Dataferret was an early microservice built to provide calendar and task management functionality for public and private websites. Eventually sold to one of the larger clients. Built on the Microsoft IIS stack.

Written in Perl, AuthorStore was the first large scale book pricing search engine covering all online booksellers in the early days of the Internet.
