Wow, No updated my artblog been so long long time. LOL

Anyway, here is my latest hard-surface sketch practice in Zbrush4.

Well, its pretty challenge for me as newbie for sculpting hardsurface in ZB,

cause mostly I did in 3D app. So...need more practice pratice...^ ^

Basic workflow: started by zsphere to zsketch. Once get some idea from the shape,

then make it into mesh and sculpt it.

Brushes used was Standard, Clay, Pinch & hpolish. Enjoyed~!

Yo, here is my updated for Zsphere2's sketches. Quite surprise ab character posing by used their zsphere2's bind skin. Love it ^ ^

Of course wanna credit my fella friend who is great concept artist, Hoimun. Its was originally 2D design by him.

Story:
Fireantz Studios is having a composition crisis. And who else better to call than ART Ventura the CG Detective. Art Ventura is a carricature of Ace Ventura and has solved numerous mysterious CG cases. And now before you he and his pet monkey poses a smile in order to complete the mission.

Hi, its time to updated my artblog. XD
This baby Alien's shape was designed by famous artist,Bobby Chiu.
So,I called it Bob Alien. ^.-v

I started model the base mesh in maya.
Export to zbrush for detailing as usual.
Did a ZB's decimation, then render in hypershot with few passes.
( reflection, difuss, sss)
Then composited & color correction in PS .

Some refinement for the 3D sketch.

Concept & rules of this Demon: A Demon Lord with inborn fusion of power Death/Darkness.
It do not possess many human characteristics. Seldom taking an interest in fighting with their own hands, when provoked into combat, they are an almost godly foe to deal with.
