<p>At this point, it’s hard to say what processor the rumored HTC HD3 will feature.  There are other dual-core processors available from other manufacturers, but based on HTC’s history of using Qualcomm processors in their phones, it’s highly unlikely that they will be changing that relationship any time soon. </p>

<p>Tired of Android already?  If you’re looking to change things up a bit, keep in mind that HTC will be launching a slew of new Windows Phone 7 handsets before the end of the year.  The one we’re most excited about is the HTC HD3 (<a href="http://www.htcsource.com/2010/09/htc-hd3-skips-a-fwe-numbers-expected-to-launch-in-october/">or HD7 based on who you ask</a>) which is rumored to be powered by a Qualcomm dual-core 1.5 GHz processor and will feature 1GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, 8MP camera with HD video recording, 1800 mAh battery, and a humongous 4.5 inch AMOLED display.   As much as we love Android, there’s no denying that there rumored specs are enough to make the biggest fanboy tremble in his shoes. </p>
<p><a href="http://www.htcsource.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/wp7.jpg" rel="lightbox[3386]"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3387" title="wp7" src="http://www.htcsource.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/wp7.jpg" alt="" width="487" height="280" /></a><a href="http://www.htcsource.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/htc_schubert_video_1.jpg" rel="lightbox[3386]"></a></p>
<p>HTC is holding a press event on September 15th and many are speculating that they will be unveiling their fall Windows Phone 7 lineup.  We still have a week before anything is final and who knows, those rumored specs could be too good to be true.  For now, we’ll just have to wait.  The good news is that T-Mobile U.S.A. may be getting in on the HTC HD3 action and could launch the Windows Phone 7 handset as soon as November 17th. </p>
<p>As much as we all love out Android phones, is anyone willing to give Windows Phone 7 a try?</p>

<p>Some new information has come to light, revealing the price of the T-Mobile G2.  Leak screen shots show that the G2 will be selling for $199.99 for customers who choose to sing a new two year agreement with T-Mobile.  Those already on T-Mobile Even More Plus plans will be asked to hand over a cool $499.99 for the G2.  The price of the T-Mobile G2 is isn’t surprising at all since the majority of the higher end Android handsets have made their debut at the $199.99 mark.  We still don’t have any word on when T-Mobile plans to officially announce the G2, but the expected launch date of September 29th is only four weeks away from today. </p>

<p>Anyone ready to trade in their HTC HD2 already?  A new leaked document shows that the HTC D3 should be ready for customers by October 18th.  The leaked documents appear to be from O2 UK’s internal launch schedule. It’s not surprising that HTC will be rolling out a successor to the HTC DH2 (one of the most successful Windows Mobile handsets to date), but HTC has apparently chosen to bump up the numbers a little to coincide with the launch of Windows Phone 7.  The new handset is expected to be named the HTC HD7.  It’s nice that HTC wants to take advantage of the windows Phone 7, but let’s hope they don’t do that same with the successor of the Touch Pro 2. </p>

<p>Two new “official” renderings of the upcoming T-Mobile G2 have just hit the web.  There’s really nothing more to report besides the fact that Cell Phone Signal is claiming that the G2 will only be available in silver.  The fact that the G2 will only launch with one color option isn’t a shocker to any of us, but it is a little odd considering that all the other HTC phones on T-Mobile have had multiple color options.  Though the leaked ROM showed no signs of HTC Sense, we’re pretty sure that quite a few Android purists are happy to see the T-Mobile G2 renders confirm that the handset will be running a vanilla build of Android 2.2. </p>

<p>Interested in giving your Android phone a fresh new look? It&#8217;s not every day that we share new wallpapers with you guys, but what we have here are no ordinary wallpapers. After the the T-Mobile G2&#8242;s ROM got leaked the other day, <a href="http://twitter.com/Zapote21/ " target="_blank">@zapote21</a> did some digging around through the system files and came up with with six new wallpapers from HTC. The G2&#8242;s ROM did include other images, though <a href="http://twitter.com/Zapote21/ " target="_blank">@zapore21</a> has stated that the other images are simply what we have seen before on other HTC Sense handsets.</p>
<p>We&#8217;re hoping that a few new wallpapers will be enough to hold everyone over a few more weeks as we wait patiently for the launch of the T-Mobile G2. If the phone does feature the Snapdragon MSM7230 processor with the Adreno 205 GPU, it should be one of the best Android phones to hit the streets this fall.</p>
