Our parents, as is usual, are not so savvy about purchasing goods online. So, it was fantastic that I could help mum access the internet when faced with the ultimate challenge of buying kitchen carts. So, what actually are kitchen carts, and who actually stock them online? Mum was chuffed when her kitchen carts search led to Cymax. Fears were diminished by the way the Cymax guys processed her order with care, and the knowledge they had about t kitchen carts. Well done Cymax, yet another convert.

The focal piece of this process is to take time to find the right sort of sofa. By going the whole hog through the use of these awesome sectionals, I now have the complete flexibility to organize and tailor my new sofa to the exact shape of my room, it looks fantastic.

And these are usually young people who "live" technology far more then their adult counterparts.

So,....... despite the headline grabbing attentions the IPhone has generated throughout the latter half of last year, we actually find that the smartphone our teenagers are angling after is the Android based BLACKBERRY CURVE.

Indeed, this unsuspecting trend seems to follow what was happening in the USA last year, where, generally, the Android system outsold the its Apple counterpart.

So why might be making important observation ?- despite that Apple still seems to dominate our media headlines.

Firstly, the young people think the Blackberry is a very cool looking, status giving phone, which could be put alongside it's Apple rival.

Then there is COST!!! - You can presently get a Blackberry Cure handset free on contract - and then pay only between £10.00 and £15.00 per month for a whole bucket full of minutes and texts.

Finally, - no wonder rumour has it that Apple are about t to launch their kid brother to the IPhone, to be known as the IPhone Nano - It has been suggested that this will cost only £125.00 to purchase, and will Apple's attempt to stop this Android invasion in its tracks!!!

Surely, the owner of this company, Joey Houssian has to come clean after remaining silent for so long by publically explaining these events which were described as an “execution” of the 100 dogs.

All of our CUTE MEMORY team have children who like to regularly get together, play outdoor things, do fantastic picnics etc. Therefore, it was a real find when one of my colleagues brought along what is known as CGEAR MULTIMAT to have our picnic on. Indeed, the mat itself became the focus of our kids attention for the whole afternoon.

Why was this so?? - So, there is nothing worse, in my experience, to get dirt and sand kicked onto your freshly laid towel or blanket when you are just getting settled on the beach or campsite/picnic area.

However, this newly acquired MULTIMAT had us all truly amazed when the grains of sand on it just simply disappeared like magic. So ..... where did they go?? According to the manufacturers from Australia, the mat is made of a special type of mesh which lets sands particles etc slip through it, but then importantly doesn't let them resurface.

Originally designed for the US Military in providing safe combat helicopter landing zones in sandy deserts etc., these mats have now been adapted for beach towels, campsite use, and outdoor picnic rugs - so - no more sand to kicked onto your rug to spoil your lovely sandwiches.

Check out these couple of videos to see these brilliant CGEAR MULTIMATS in action, as well as the science behind them
Therefore, I have found the LIFE LOGGING FREE APP DEEPVUE created by a guy called ALEX VALLI which lets the images I take from my car journey to tell a visual story. I already have a Flickr account, (which is great), but what DEEPVUE does is to provide GPS tracking reference to WHEN and WHERE the image was taken - In other words it provides a VISUAL INSIGHT into that 40 minute segment of my day when I am travelling/returning from work. And, the fascinating thing about using this APP - is that NO TWO WORK JOURNEY'S are ever the same!! Check it out at www.deepvue.com - it will quickly become your invisible companion for any visual journey.

You might well find actually emphasising this MASSIVE IMPACT very difficult for these young people to truly appreciate - mainly because they have simply grown knowing nothing else than either owning or seen mobile phone technology. being used all around them. For many, of course, SMS communication is a everyday necessity..!!!!

Therefore, a great way, we have found, of initially bringing home these massive developments in such a short time frame is to introduce the subject by showing them the following great movie we found - Go ahead and have a viewing::
By the way ...........it's fantastic if you can get hold of one of the first early 1970's "BRICK LIKE" HANDHELD PHONES to show them

Indeed, this vision is not that far away with the development of SKINPUT, a collaboration between Chris Harrison from Carnegie Mellon University, and Microsoft Research.

Using the bodies natural muscle movements and tensions when touched SKINPUT will allow users to automatically move through menus and select different options that are projected onto different areas of your hands and arms. When combined with the newest generation of small projectors, they are able to present a very clear and truly body interactive experience - Now interaction with your your whole body will provide the only truly mobile device you will ever need.

So .......... please check out the video below:

Our schools seem driven by the pressure to stimulate INSPIRATIONAL long-term planning and decision making strategies to drive our organisations forward.

Where do you go, what resources can/should you use....???

A great starting point on this journey is to take a look at the web based resource called VISION MAPPER.

It provides a whole range of longer-term planning questions/strategies which then go onto present some "key" decision making which your school both as individuals, groups, and as a whole can get into and investigate. It is also great to report that this resource actually will enable your school to create concrete plans which are both REALISTIC and ACHIEVABLE

And, to top it all - this great vision creating resource is absolutely FREE and waiting to be used straight away.
Talking to friends it seems that <place w:st="on"><city w:st="on">vancouver</city></place> attractions offer a range of thrills, spills, culture, and relaxation myself and family are desperate for. In particular, those truly famous quality retreats situated by the turquoise waters of Moraine Lake, Banff National Park provide a fantastic backdrop for fishing, rafting, and horseback riding - on my “must do” list.. Alternatively, I have been told the spectacular <placename w:st="on">McKenzie</placename> <placetype w:st="on">Beach</placetype> near Vancouver Island is a must visit, showing the diverse range of what <place w:st="on"><city w:st="on">vancouver</city></place> attractions clearly offer.

They say every city has a beating heart. If the examination of London's major road arteries by designer Pedro Miguel Cruz is anything to go by, the UK capital is heading for cardiac arrest.

This July, Cruz -- based at the University of Coimbra in Portugal -- took GPS tagging data from 140 vehicles belonging to delivery company eCourier. He then mapped the speed and position of each of them over a 24-hour period to show traffic movement. Shown ABOVE is the snapshot of data monitored at 10am.

In the visualisation, each vehicle leaves a colour trail corresponding to its speed. "Green means 50kph, but most are a yellowish colour meaning the speed is less than 25kph," says Cruz. " The red areas mean the vehicles are at a standstill." The amber glow illustrates that the majority of the city centre is filled with cars travelling at little more than walking speed.

Could it help rethink traffic management? "Yes, it's a good tool to spot problematic areas," says Cruz. "But it's nothing traffic-control companies don't know already"

Called their DIDGET DEVICE, it simply, and brilliantly, encourages children to take their necessary pin-brick blood sugar tests for diabetic children- by then linking it to any Nintendo DS. The more you do this, the more points you receive within the game playing environment of the DS.

Deliciously simple - we would love to see this time of interaction with game based technology in schools. The possibilities are surely endless... !!!! - ONCE AGAIN SIMPLE WINS..!!!
