ABSTRACT

Objective: To provide a novel information of CCR6-
rs2301436 gene polymorphism effects on susceptibility
and severity of HCC among HCV related cirrhotics,
comparatively to CCR2-64Ile and CCR5-Δ32 allelic
variants.
Methods: 120 patients with HCC on background of HCV-
related liver cirrhosis; 120 cirrhotics without HCC and 240
healthy controls were recruited in this study. All subjects
were genotyped for: CCR2-64Ile, CCR5-Δ32 and CCR6-
rs2301436.
Results: There was increased risk of having HCC among
heterozygotes of +/64Ile of CCR2, +/∆32 of CCR5 and
G/A of CCR6-rs2301436 after adjusting for non-matched
variables compared with wild genotypes when HCC
patients were tested against either cirrhotics without HCC
or healthy controls.
Only carriers of CCR6-rs2301436 (G/A and A/A) were
significantly associated with increased risk of 4.1 folds,
4.1 folds and 2.7 folds for lymphatic permeation, distant
metastasis and advanced TNM staging of HCC,
respectively, after adjusting for confounders. We found no
significant association between those gene polymorphisms
and any of serum markers of liver injury.
Conclusion: CCR6-rs2301436 gene polymorphism is
involved in development and severity of HCC in HCV
related Egyptian cirrhotics. This contribution could be not
induced by liver injury.

INTRODUCTION
Beyond 170 million people worldwide are infected with
hepatitis C virus (HCV) [1], the mainstream of whom will
create chronicity with long term impediment such as
cirrhosis, liver failure and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC)
[2]. Chemokines umpire the recruitment of inflammatory
cells into tissues and back into the lymphatics and
peripheral blood. Hence, they are requisite to the spatial
rescue of regulatory immune cells [3]. Also, chemokines
made by malignant cells aid survival of the malignant cells
[4]. CCR2 and CCR5 are two of a cluster of six
chemokine receptor-genes mapped to 3p21 [5]. Ligands
for CCR2 include CCL2, CCL7, CCL8 and CCL13, all of
which are expressed in the hepatic environment. CCR2 has
a crucial role in innate and adaptive immunity, T helper
(Th1) inflammation and hepatic fibrosis [6].
The ligands for CCR5 comprise CCL3 (macrophage
inflammatory protein-1α; MIP-1α), CCL5 (regulatory
upon activation, normal T-cell expressed; RANTES),
which is always released by thrombin-stimulated platelets.
Yet CCR5 associated chemokines direct recruitment of
effector T cell to the portal tracts [7]. CCR6 is another C-
C chemokine receptor which is encoded by a gene located
in the long arm of chromosome 6 (6q27) [8], CCL20
(previously known as MIP-3α) [9]. It was found that
CCL20-CCR6 axis showed a significant up-regulation in
HCC tissues [10], [11]. Several allelic variants of these
chemokine receptors have been reported. A substitution
mutation in the open reading frame of the CCR2, resulting
in a valine (Val) to isoleucine (Ile) at amino acid 64
designed CCR2(64Ile), and a 32-bp deletion in the CCR5
gene leading to a non-functional protein and CCR5
promoter single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) designed
CCR5-Δ32 were identified [12], [13]. Both CCR
mutations have been reported to be associated with
delayed disease progression in human immunodeficiency
virus-1 (HIV-1) infected individuals [14], [15]. Also,
several studies have mentioned the role of those
polymorphisms in HCV infection with contrastive results
[16]–[20].
Although no clear associations between both CCR2-64Ile
or CCR5-Δ32 mutation and development of HCC were
initially reported [21], [22] , a recent study suggested that
CCR2-64Ile gene polymorphism is an important factor for
the susceptibility of HCC but it might not influence the
tumor progression[23]. Currently, SNP in CCR6 with a
reference sequence (rs) of 2301436 has been reported [24].
This SNP was detected in different diseases [24]-[26],
however, no expression data are currently available
concerning its role in HCC.
Taken in account all these facts, we hypothesized that the
CCR6 gene polymorphism could influence the
susceptibility of HCC. Thus, the aim of this study was to
provide a novel information of CCR6-rs 2301436 gene
polymorphism effects on susceptibility and severity of
HCC among Egyptian patients with HCV- genotype
4(G4)-related liver cirrhosis comparatively to CCR2-64Ile
and CCR5-Δ32 allelic variants.
2. MATERIALS AND METHODS
2.1 Eligible Subjects
This prospective, hospital- based and case-controlled study
was conducted in Internal Medicine Department at Minia
University Hospital, Egypt between December 2012 and
March 2014. A series of patients with HCC on background
of HCV-related liver cirrhosis was enrolled consecutively
from the attendants of the outpatient clinics. The group of
HCC patients was compared with two other groups:
patients with HCV-related liver cirrhosis and healthy
controls.
2.2 Hepatocellular Carcinoma Group
They were 79 (65.8%) male, 41 (34.2%) female. The
diagnosis of HCC was based on the characteristic criteria
of the National Guidelines for HCC [27]. The diagnosis
was frequently confirmed histologically [28].
2.3 Liver Cirrhosis Group
This group comprised 120 patients: 77 (64.2%) were
males and 43 (35.8%) were females with HCV-related
liver cirrhosis. Liver cirrhosis was defined histologically
[29], or non-histologically by evidence of portal
hypertension in the presence of chronic liver disease.
2.4 Control Group
A total of 240 healthy individuals were randomly selected
from medical and paramedical staff of the same hospital as
a control group. They were 162 (67.5%) male, 78 (32.5%)
female. Patients and controls were unrelated and
prospectively matched for race, ethnicity and
demographics.
2.5 Informed Consent
The present study was approved by the Institutional Ethics
Committee of School of Medicine, Minia University,
Egypt. The guidelines and regulations of the 1975 Helsinki
Declaration and International Conference on
Harmonization Guidelines for Good Clinical Practice were
followed. All study subjects gave informed written
consent to participate in this study.
2.6 Laboratory Evaluation
The whole blood specimens collected from the study
subjects, were placed in tubes containing EDTA and
immediately centrifuged and stored at -80°C until used for
genomic DNA extraction and genotyping. Data for age,
sex, race, ethnicity, residential area, alcohol consumption,
tobacco smoking and current history of type2 diabetes
mellitus (T2DM) that was diagnosed according to the
American Diabetes Association Classification criteria [30]
were obtained. Other clinico-pathological characteristic
such as hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg), antibodies to
HCV (anti-HCV) and human immunodeficiency virus
(anti-HIV), polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for HCV-
RNA, HCV genotypes, status of liver function in terms of
Child-Pugh class, AFP, total bilirubin, aspartate
aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase(ALT),

serum albumin, prothrombin time (PT), international
normalized ratio (INR), platelet count, stage of HCC and
imaging studies were examined. Staging of HCC was
assessed by tumor-nodes- metastasis (TNM) clinical
staging system [31].
Anti-HCV was detected by second generation ELISA kits
(Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics Co. Inc, Tokyo, Japan) and
HCV RNA was measured in serum using a standardized
automated qualitative real time – PCR (Abbot M 2000,
USA), with lower detection limit of 12 IU of HCV
RNA/ml. The HCV genotypes were determined using
reverse hybridization (Innolipa; Inngenetics, Genetics.
Gent, Belgium). All patients were tested positive for anti
HCV-G4.
HBs-Ag was assessed by radioimmunoassay kits
(Lumipulse II HBs Ag , Fujirebio Co. Inc, Tokyo, Japan).
Exclusion criteria included patients who co-infected with
HBV and/or HIV, those who had other causes of liver
disease, other cancers by an initial screening examination,
in addition to those who had a history of alcohol intake of
≥ 80 gm/ day for longer than 10 years.
2.6.1 DNA Extraction
Genomic DNA was extracted from the whole blood by
Thermoscientific Gene Jet Genomic DNA Purification
Kits (Sigma, UK) according to the manufacturer’s
instructions.
2.6.2 CCR2 Genotyping
For characterization of the CCR2 polymorphism, sequence
specific primer PCR was used (SSP-PCR). The primers
used were CCR2- 440,441 and 442, Table 1.
Amplification was done using kits from Thermo Scientific
Dream Taq Green PCR Master Mix (2x) (Sigma, UK)
according to manufacturer’s instructions.
2.6.3 CCR5 Δ32 Genotyping
CCR5Δ32 genotype was determined by sizing PCR
amplicons that include the entire region of the deletion
sense and antisense primers, Table 1. Amplification was
determined by using Thermoscientific Dream Taq Green
PCR Master Mix (2x) kits (Sigma, UK) according to
manufacturer's instructions.

2.6.4 CCR6-rs 2301436 Genotyping
CCR6- rs 2301436 genomic variants were detected using
PCR, followed by a restriction fragment length
polymorphism (RFLP) assay. The presence of the G
nucleotide of position rs2301436 of CCR6 gene creates a
recognition site for the Hpa II enzyme. Primers used are
shown in Table 1. Amplification was determined using
Thermoscientific Dream Taq Green PCR Master Mix (2x)
kits (Sigma, UK) according to manufacturer’s instructions.
2.7 Statistical Analyses
Supported on the gene frequencies, expected phenotype
frequencies were designed according to the Hardy-
Weinberg equation and contrasted with the practical
frequencies via the χ2 test. Results were analyzed using
SPSS (Chicago, IL), version 21. Categorical variables
were described as frequency and percentage. Continuous
variables were presented as mean+ standard deviation
(SD). Logarithmic transformation was performed for
variables that were non-normally distributed. Categorical
variables were compared using χ2 –test or Fisher's exact
test when appropriate. Student′s-t test and one-way
ANOVA followed by Post Hoc test were used to compare
continuous variables. The odds ratios (ORs) and adjusted
odd ratios (AOR) with their 95% confidence interval (CI)
were predictable by simple logistic regression
investigation, whilst the accustomed odds ratios (AORs)
with their 95%CI were predictable by various logistic
regression models following calculating for other
confounders. A p- value<0.05 was considered significance.
3. RESULTS
3.1 Characteristics of the study subjects
A total of 480 subjects were enrolled in the present study:
120 patients with HCC on background of HCV-related
liver cirrhosis (group I); 120 patients with HCV-related
liver cirrhosis not complicated by HCC (group II), and 240
healthy controls (group III). Their initial characteristics are
displayed in Table 2. The 3 study groups were matched for
age, sex, residential area and exposure to smoking. Group
I and II were matched for platelet count, serum levels of
total billirubin, albumin, INR, AST, viral load and
functional status of liver in terms of Child-Pugh class
whereas group I had statistically increased proportion of
T2DM (59(49.2%) vs. 29(24.2%), p=<0.001) and serum
ALT (102.1±73.47 IU/L vs. 68.5±32.5 IU/L, p=0.05)
compared with group II. When the patients groups were
compared with controls (group III), each showed
statistically significant increased serum values of total
billirubin, AST, ALT and INR and showed significantly
decreased values of platelet count and serum albumin.
3.2 The Genotypic Distribution and Allelic
Frequency of CCR2-64Ile, CCR5-∆32 and
CCR6-rs2301436 Gene Polymorphisms in the
Study Groups
In our recruited control group, the frequencies of 64Ile of
CCR2 (p > 0.05, χ
2
value = 0.01); ∆32 of CCR5 (p > 0.05,
χ
2
value= 0.05) and G/A of CCR6-rs 2301436 (p> 0.05, χ
2
value =0.03) were in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium,
respectively.
The OR and AOR with their 95%CI of genotypic
distributions of CCR2-64Ile, CCR5-∆32 and CCR6-
rs2301436 compared with wild genotypes in the group of
HCC and the group of liver cirrhosis without HCC are
shown in Table 3. For heterozygotes of CCR2-64Ile
(+/64Ile), CCR5-∆32 (+/∆32) and CCR6-rs2301436 (G/A),
they had a significant risk of 7.6 folds (95% CI=4.1-8.1,
p=<0.001); 5.7 folds (95% CI=1.63-6.1, p=0.01) and 4.9
folds (95% CI=2.4-9.8, p=<0.001) to have HCC,
respectively, compared to subjects with wild genotype
after adjusting for T2DM and other SNPs. Also,
individuals with homozygotes of CCR2-64Ile (64Ile/64Ile),
CCR5-∆32 (∆32/∆32) had 6 folds risk (95% CI=1.2-9.8,
p=0.03) and 5.3 folds risk (95% CI=1.1-5.8,p=0.04),
respectively on the susceptibility of HCC, although there
was not a significance, after adjusting for T2DM and other
SNPs. No A/A homozygous carriers could be detected
among patients of either group I or II.
The relationship between genotypic distributions of the 3
gene polymorphisms compared with wild genotypes in
HCC patients and healthy controls are shown in Table 4.
Heterozygotes of CCR2-64Ile (+/64Ile), CCR5-∆32
(+/∆32) and CCR6-rs2301436 (G/A) had a significant risk
of 6.2 folds (95% CI=3.9-7.7, p=<0.001); 7 folds (95%
CI=3.2-7.5, p=<0.001) and 9.98 folds (95% CI=9.7-16.3,
p=<0.001) to have HCC, respectively, compared to
subjects with wild genotype after adjusting for T2DM and
other SNPs. None of the healthy controls exhibited
homozygosity of any of the studied gene polymorphisms.
Analysis of frequency of 64Ile, ∆32 and A alleles in the
studied groups revealed that the presence of those alleles
had a significantly higher risk of occurrence of HCC after
controlling for T2DM and other SNPs when compared
with wild alleles in HCC patients and either cirrhotics
without HCC (AOR=5.9, 95%CI= 3.2-10.8, p=<0.001;
AOR= 3.3, 95%CI= 1.8-5.8, p=<0.001 and AOR= 8.1,
95%CI= 2.1-9.1, p= 0.002, respectively) or controls
(AOR= 5.2, 95%CI= 4.9-8.4, p=<0.001; AOR= 10.3,
95%CI= 1.2-19.5, p=0.04 and AOR=8.5, 95%CI= 7.9-9.8,
p=<0.001, respectively), Tables 3 and 4.
3.3 The Relationship between Genotypic
Frequencies of the Studied Gene
Polymorphisms and Clinical Pathological
Characteristics in HCC Patients
Due to the small number of homozygotes for CCR-64Ile,
CCR5-∆32 and CCR6-rs 2301436 alleles among the study
groups, they were pooled with heterozygotes into a single
subgroup to be compared with wild homozygotes. Except
for CCR5-∆32 carriers who were older than wild type
homozygotes (57.2 ± 5.7 vs 54.5 ± 4.5, p= 0.01), patients

polymorphism was the 32 base pair deletion CCR5-∆32
[12]. Investigations on the potential association of CCR5-
∆32 gene polymorphism with occurrence of HCC are
scarce. To the best of our knowledge, only Nahon et al
[21], [22] who have studied the role of this gene
polymorphism on the risk of HCC among both alcohol-
related cirrhosis patients as well as HCV- infected patients,
they reported a lack of association of CCR5-∆32 gene
polymorphism with occurrence of HCC among both
alcohol-related cirrhosis patients [21] and HCV- infected
patients [22]. Therefore, the present study is the first to
show a significant association of heterozygotes for CCR5-
∆32 gene polymorphism with development of HCC after
adjusting for other confounders when the group of HCC
patients were tested against either cirrhotics or healthy
controls, Table III and IV. It has been reported that CCR5-
∆32 allelic variant creates a truncated protein that fails to
reach the cell surface [38], however, the mechanism
behind this variant interaction with HCC development has
to be elucidated. In the current study, the carriage of
CCR5-∆32 allele was significantly related to old age and
the severity of liver disease (decreased platelet count),
Table V. Old age and advanced stages of underlying
cirrhosis are major risk factors for HCC [39].
It was reported that the genetic expression of either CCR2
or CCR5 was not associated with tumor severity in HCC
patients including; tumor number, tumor size, lymph node
metastasis, distant metastasis, clinical stage and Child-
Pugh grade, indicating that those genetic polymorphisms
had unapparent influence on its functional level. Although
similar results were reported by Yeh et al., [23] in the case
of CCR2-64Ile allelic carriers, extra studies are desirable.
It is significant to note that CCR2-64Ile and CCR5-∆32
gene polymorphism are in linkage disequilibrium, owing
to next site of CCR2 and CCR5 genes with a chemokine
receptor gene cluster on human chromosome 3p21[40]. In
this regard, we must take into account while considering
statistical involvement among particular polymorphisms
and clinical product, since recognized polymorphism may
presently be a sign related to the other polymorphism that
has a straight consequence on disease outcome. In order to
conquer this obstacle, we attuned for other gene
polymorphisms as we tested the association of a certain
gene polymorphism and risk of HCC.
To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study to
provide novel information about the effects of CCR6-
rs2301436 gene polymorphism on susceptibility and
severity of HCC in HCV-related cirrhosis patients. Our
study revealed that G/A heterozygotes had a significant
increased risk of 4.9 folds (95%CI= 2.4-9.8) to have HCC
compared with wild homozygotes when HCC patients
were studied against patients with liver cirrhosis. This risk
increased to 9.98 folds (95%CI=9.67-16.3) when the
group of HCC patients was studied against healthy
controls. No A/A homozygotes of CCR6- rs2301436 SNP
could be elicited in the studied groups.
By univariate analysis, the demographic characteristics
and liver-related serological markers were not influenced
by the carriage of CCR6-rs2301436 allele, whereas,
carriers had significant increased proportions with
lymphatic permeation, distant metastasis, and advanced
TNM stage compared with non-carriers. Also, in
multivariate analysis, we found that carriers CCR6-
rs2301436 allele had a significant high risk to have
lymphatic permeation, distant metastasis and advanced
TNM stage compared with non-carriers after adjusting for
other SNPs and non-matched confounders including
T2DM.
Northfield et al., [41], reported that CCL20 functions as a
chemoattractant for CCR6+ lymphocytes and DCs, as well;
serum levels of CCL20 are considerably high in CHC and
persist to amplify sophisticated fibrosis and cirrhotic
disease [41]. Appearance of this chemokine is also
obviously improved in hepatoma cells compare directly
with vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)
expression and tumor size [42]. High levels of CCR6
mRNA has also been noticed on Th17 cells and regulatory
T cells (Tregs) within the inflammatory tumor
microenvironment [11]. This sturdily implied role of the
CCR6-CCL20 axis in regulating cirrhosis and HCC
associated angiogenesis encouraged us to guess that its
allelic variant must has a position in this story,
nevertheless, the exact mechanism has to be yet clarified.
In the current study, we insisted of including a control
group of liver cirrhosis that was matched with the HCC
group for demographic characteristics and disease stage to
put aside any possibility that the studied polymorphisms
contribute to fibrosis progress and the development of
cirrhosis, rather than directly to the pathogenesis of HCC.
Also, the increased significant occurrence of T2DM
among HCC patients was considered on performing
statistical analysis to guard against its definite role in
pathogenesis of HCC [43].
Besides, no significant correlation between the three
studied chemokine genetic polymorphisms and serum
markers including; AFP, AST and ALT could be found in
the current study. Hence, we considered that the influence
of these genetic variants on susceptibility of HCC could
not through liver injury. Because of the relatively small
size of our cohort and monocentric nature of the study, our
study should be considered an exploratory trial.
5. CONCLUSION
Our results suggest that heterozygotes of CCR2-64Ile,
CCR5-∆32 and CCR6-rs2301436 allelic variants may be
crucial host genetic factors associated with susceptibility
of HCC in Egyptian cirrhotics infected with HCV- G4.
However, only G/A heterozygotes of CCR6-rs2301436
gene polymorphism might influence the tumor severity
and this contribution could be not induced by liver injury.
These results highlight the need of further studies
including functional relevance and clinical implications.

Anatomy
The pituitary gland was first called "hypophysis" by Thomas Soemmering in 1778. Hypophysis is a Greek term that describes how the pituitary appears to "grow beneath the brain." The pituitary gland carries the respectable sobriquet "master gland" because it produces hormones that regulate growth, development, and reproduction.
Despite its vital role, the pituitary gland is only the size of a pea. It is located in the middle cranial fossa within a recess of the sphenoid bone called the sella turcica
The pituitary gland has 2 parts: the anterior pituitary (adenohypophysis) which consists of hormone-producing epithelium.
and the posterior pituitary (neurohypophysis) which consists of nervous tissue branching out of the hypothalamus.
Blood supply:
-arterial: sup.&inf hypophyseal artery (from internal carotid artery)
-venous: hypothalamo-hypophyseal portal circulation. it consists of :
*1ry capillary plexus in hypothalamus
*Connected along pituitary stalk to a 2ndry plexus in anterior lobe.

Embryology
The pituitary develops in the third week of embryogenesis from interactions between the diencephalon part of the brain and the nasal cavity.
The brain cells secrete FGF-8, Wnt5a and BMP-4, and the nasal cavity BMP-2. Together, these cellular signals stimulate a group of cells from the nasal cavity to form Rathke's pouch, which becomes independent of the nasal cavity and develops into the anterior pituitary; this process includes the suppression of production of a protein called Sonic hedgehog by the cells of Rathke's pouch. The cells then differentiate further into the various hormone-producing cells of the pituitary. This requires particular transcription factors that induce the expression of particular genes. Some of these transcription factors have been found to be deficient in some forms of rare combined pituitary hormone deficiencies (CPHD) in childhood. These are HESX1, PROP1, POU1F1, LHX3, LHX4, TBX19, SOX2 and SOX3. Each transcription factor acts in particular groups of cells. Therefore, various genetic mutations are associated with specific hormone deficiencies. For instance, POU1F1 (also known as Pit-1) mutations cause specific deficiencies in growth hormone, prolactin and TSH. In addition to the pituitary, some of the transcription factors are also required for the development of other organs; some of these mutations are therefore also associated with specific birth defects.

Most of the hormones in the anterior pituitary are each part of an axis that is regulated by the hypothalamus. The hypothalamus secretes a number of releasing hormones, often according to a circadian rhythm, into blood vessels that supply the anterior pituitary; most of these are stimulatory (thyrotropin-releasing hormone, corticotropin-releasing hormone, gonadotropin-releasing hormone and growth hormone-releasing hormone), apart from dopamine, which suppresses prolactin production.[16] In response to the releasing hormone rate, the anterior pituitary produces its hormones (TSH, ACTH, LH, FSH, GH) that stimulate effector hormone glands in the body, although prolactin acts directly on the breast gland. Once the effector glands produce sufficient hormones (thyroxine, cortisol, estradiol or testosterone and IGF-1), both the hypothalamus and the pituitary cells sense their abundance and reduce their secretion of stimulating hormones.
The hormones of the posterior pituitary are produced in the hypothalamus and are carried by nerve endings to the posterior lobe; their feedback system is therefore located in the hypothalamus, but damage to the nerve endings would still lead to a deficiency in hormone release.

It is the decreased (hypo) secretion of hormones normally produced by the pituitary gland at the base of the brain. If there is decreased secretion of most pituitary hormones, the term panhypopituitarism is used.

Causes of primary hypopituitarism (directly affecting pituitary gland):
1-pituitary tumors
pituitary adenomas compressing the normal tissue in the gland

2-inadequate blood supply to pituitary gland
Sheehan's syndrome:
During pregnancy, the pituitary gland enlarges due to hyperplasia and hypertrophy of the lactotroph cells, which produce prolactin. The hypophyseal vessels, which supply the pituitary, constrict in response to decreasing blood volume, and subsequent vasospasm occurs, causing necrosis of the pituitary gland. The degree of necrosis correlates with the severity of the hemorrhage.
As many as 30% of women experiencing postpartum hemorrhage with hemodynamic instability may develop some degree of hypopituitarism. These patients can develop adrenal insufficiency, hypothyroidism, amenorrhea, diabetes insipidus, and an inability to breastfeed.

Pituitary apoplexy
Pituitary apoplexy denotes the sudden destruction of the pituitary tissue resulting from infarction or hemorrhage into the pituitary.
o    The most likely cause of the apoplexy is brain trauma; however, it can occur in patients with diabetes mellitus, pregnancy, sickle cell anemia, blood dyscrasias or anticoagulation, and increased intracranial pressure.
o    Apoplexy usually spares the posterior pituitary and solely affects the anterior pituitary.

3-infections and/or inflammatory diseases
•    infection of the gland itself, or it may be infiltrated by abnormal cells (histiocytosis) or excessive iron (hemochromatosis).

4-sarcoidosis - a rare inflammation of the lymph nodes and other tissues throughout the body
5-amyloidosis - a rare disease which causes the buildup of amyloid, a protein and starch, in tissues and organs
6-radiation therapy
7-surgical removal of pituitary tissue

Causes of secondary hypopituitarism (affecting the hypothalamus):

Epidemiology
There is only study that has measured the prevalence (total number of cases in a population) and incidence (annual number of new cases) of hypopituitarism.
This study was conducted in Northern Spain and used hospital records in a well-defined population. The study showed that 45.5 people out of 100,000 had been diagnosed with hypopituitarism, with 4.2 new cases per year. 61% were due to tumors of the pituitary gland, 9% due to other types of lesions, and 19% due to other causes; in 11% no cause could be identified.

Recent studies have shown that people with a previous traumatic brain injury, spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage (a type of stroke) or radiation therapy involving the head have a higher risk of hypopituitarism. After traumatic brain injury, as much as a quarter have persistent pituitary hormone deficiencies. Many of these people may have subtle or non-specific symptoms that are not linked to pituitary problems but attributed to their previous condition. It is therefore possible that many cases of hypopituitarism remain undiagnosed, and that the annual incidence would rise to 31 per 100,000 annually if people from these risk groups were to be tested.

Mortality/Morbidity
The systemic effects of pituitary hormone deficiencies vary depending on the extent of pituitary involvement. Given that the pituitary acts on numerous endocrine sites, the consequences of pituitary dysfunction range from subclinical disease to panhypopituitarism.
•    Missed or delayed diagnosis could potentially lead to permanent disability or death.
•    Female patients with hypopituitarism who are receiving controlled thyroid and steroid hormone substitution, but without growth hormone replacement, have more than a 2-fold increase in cardiovascular mortality compared with the general population.
•    Cardiovascular disease is significantly higher among hypopituitary patients (incidence ratio, 3.7; 95% confidence interval, 1.2–11.3)
•    Hypopituitary patients have lower high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (P = 0.002) and higher low-density/high-density lipoprotein ratio (P = 0.009).

Signs and symptoms
The hormones of the pituitary have different actions in the body, and the symptoms of hypopituitarism therefore depend on which hormone is deficient. In most of the cases, three or more hormones are deficient

•    Adrenocorticotropic hormone deficiency
•    Deficiency in corticotropin is characterized by a decrease in adrenal androgens and production of cortisol.
•    Acute loss of adrenal function is a medical emergency and may lead to hypotension and death if not treated.
•    Signs and symptoms of ACTH deficiency may be profound and potentially fatal and include myalgias, arthralgias, fatigue, headache, weight loss, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, altered mentation or altered consciousness, dry wrinkled skin, decreased axillary and pubic hair, anemia of chronic disease, dilutional hyponatremia, hypoglycemia, hypotension, and shock.
•    Symptoms are nearly identical to those of primary adrenal insufficiency but can be differentiated by lack of hyperpigmentation. Hyperpigmentation occurs in a long feedback loop in which a cortisol deficiency results in increased production of ACTH by the pituitary. The ACTH precursor coupled to melanocyte-stimulating hormone is not produced in those with pituitary disease, and therefore hyperpigmentation does not take place.
•    Patients with secondary adrenal insufficiency usually are eukalemic. This differs from primary adrenal insufficiency, in which patients develop hyponatremia and hyperkalemia.
•    Aldosterone secretion is not affected, as it does not depend on corticotropin but instead on the renin-angiotensin axis.
•    Thyrotropin deficiency
•    Secondary thyrotropin deficiency (ie, hypothyroidism) due to decreased TSH exhibits identical symptoms to primary thyroid disease, only typically less severe.
•    Signs and symptoms of secondary hypothyroidism include fatigue, weakness, weight gain, thickened subcutaneous tissues, constipation, cold intolerance, altered mental status, impaired memory, and anemia.
•    Physical examination may reveal bradycardia, delayed relaxation of the deep tendon reflexes, and periorbital edema.
•    Gonadotropin deficiency
•    Low FSH and LH levels increase risk of osteoporosis due to decreased bone density and result in hypogonadism in both men and women.
•    In men, symptoms include decreased libido, varying degrees of erectile dysfunction, decreased ejaculate, muscle weakness, and fatigue.
•    Men with long-standing hypogonadism have decreased hair growth, soft testes, and gynecomastia. Patients may be anemic due to decreased erythropoietin production, which causes a normochromic, normocytic anemia.
•    Premenopausal women present with altered menstrual function, ranging from regular anovulatory periods to amenorrhea, hot flashes, decreased libido, breast atrophy, vaginal dryness, and dyspareunia.
•    Pubic and axillary hair growth is usually normal unless a concomitant ACTH deficiency exists.
•    Postmenopausal women usually present with headache or visual abnormalities due to other hormonal deficiencies or mass lesions.
•    In children, FSH and LH deficiency can cause eunuchoidism and lack of sexual development.
•    FSH and LH have an indirect effect on bone growth by causing closure of the epiphysis.
•    Characteristics of eunuchoidism are due to delay in closure of the epiphysis, resulting in long extremities.
•    Growth hormone deficiency
•    In children, GH deficiency presents as growth retardation and delayed sexual maturation.
•    Patients may present with fasting hypoglycemia due to loss of the gluconeogenic effect of GH, which counteracts the effect of insulin.
•    In adults, GH deficiency presents as weakness, poor wound healing, wrinkling around the eyes and mouth ,decreased exercise tolerance, and decreased social functioning.
•    Prolactin deficiency
•    Tumor growth that decreases PRL production affects the process of lactation; these tumors become evident only in the postpartum state.
•    PRL deficiency is very rare; any process that affects the hypothalamus and the pituitary stalk decreases the normal inhibitory effect of dopamine from the hypothalamus on the pituitary, causing a rebound increase in PRL.

Diagnosis
The diagnosis of hypopituitarism is made on blood tests.
Two types of blood tests are used to confirm the presence of a hormone deficiency:
1-    basal levels, where blood samples are taken–usually in the morning–without any form of stimulation
2-    dynamic tests, where blood tests are taken after the injection of a stimulating substance.
    Measurement of ACTH and growth hormone usually requires dynamic testing, whereas the other hormones (LH/FSH, prolactin, TSH) can typically be tested with basal levels.
Generally, the finding of a combination of a low pituitary hormone together with a low hormone from the effector gland is indicative of hypopituitarism.
   Occasionally, the pituitary hormone may be normal but the effector gland hormone decreased; in this case, the pituitary is not responding appropriately, and the combination of findings is still suggestive of hypopituitarism.
Basal tests
*Levels of LH/FSH
In men, the combination of low LH and FSH in combination with a low testosterone confirms LH/FSH deficiency; a high testosterone would indicate a source elsewhere in the body (such as a testosterone-secreting tumor).
In women, the diagnosis of LH/FSH deficiency depends on whether the woman has been through the menopause. Before the menopause, abnormal menstrual periods together with low estradiol and LH/FSH levels confirm a pituitary problem; after the menopause (when LH/FSH levels are normally elevated and the ovaries produce less estradiol), inappropriately low LH/FSH alone is sufficient. Stimulation tests with GnRH are possible, but their use is not encouraged.
*TSH
basal measurements are usually sufficient, as well as measurements of thyroxine to ensure that the pituitary is not simply suppressing TSH production in response to hyperthyroidism (an overactive thyroid gland). A stimulation test with thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH) is not regarded as useful.
*Prolactin
can be measured by basal level, and is required for the interpretation of LH and FSH results in addition to the confirmation of hypopituitarism or diagnosis of a prolactin-secreting tumor.
Stimulation tests
1-Growth hormone:
Growth hormone deficiency is almost certain if all other pituitary tests are also abnormal, and insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) levels are decreased. If this is not the case, IGF-1 levels are poorly predictive of the presence of GH deficiency; stimulation testing with the insulin tolerance test is then required. This is performed by administering insulin to lower the blood sugar to a level below 2.2 mmol/l. Once this occurs, growth hormone levels are measured. If they are low despite the stimulatory effect of the low blood sugars, growth hormone deficiency is confirmed. The test is not without risks, especially in those prone to seizures or are known to have heart disease, and causes the unpleasant symptoms of hypoglycemia. Alternative tests (such as the growth hormone releasing hormone stimulation test) are less useful, although a stimulation test with arginine may be used for diagnosis, especially in situations where an insulin tolerance test is thought to be too dangerous. If GH deficiency is suspected, and all other pituitary hormones are normal, two different stimulation tests are needed for confirmation.
2-ACTH:
If morning cortisol levels are over 500 nmol/l, ACTH deficiency is unlikely, whereas a level less than 100 is indicative. Levels between 100-500 require a stimulation test. This, too, is done with the insulin tolerance test. A cortisol level above 500 after achieving a low blood sugar rules out ACTH deficiency, while lower levels confirm the diagnosis. A similar stimulation test using corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) is not sensitive enough for the purposes of the investigation. If the insulin tolerance test yields an abnormal result, a further test measuring the response of the adrenal glands to synthetic ACTH (the ACTH stimulation test) can be performed to confirm the diagnosis. Stimulation testing with metyrapone is an alternative. Some suggest that an ACTH stimulation test is sufficient as first-line investigation, and that an insulin torlerance test is only needed if the ACTH test is equivocal. The insulin tolerance test is discouraged in children. None of the tests for ACTH deficiency are perfect, and further tests after a period of time may be needed if initial results are not conclusive.
Further investigations
*magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
scan of the pituitary is the first step in identifying an underlying cause. MRI may show various tumors and may assist in delineating other causes. Tumors smaller than 1 cm are referred to as microadenomas, and larger lesions are called macroadenomas.
*Computed tomography
Computed tomography with radiocontrast may be used if MRI is not available.
*Formal visual field testing by perimetry is recommended, as this would show evidence of optic nerve compression by a tumor.
Other tests that may assist in the diagnosis of Hypopituitarism (especially if no tumor is found on the MRI scan):
ferritin (elevated in hemochromatosis).
 angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) levels (often elevated in                        sarcoidosis).
 human chorionic gonadotropin (often elevated in tumor of germ cell          origin).
 genetic testing may be performed, If a genetic cause is suspected.
Treatment

Treatment of hypopituitarism is threefold:
    removing the underlying cause
    treating the hormone deficiencies
    addressing any other repercussions that arise from the hormone deficiencies.
Underlying cause:
Pituitary tumors
require treatment when they are causing specific symptoms, such as headaches, visual field defects or excessive hormone secretion. Transsphenoidal surgery (removal of the tumor by an operation through the nose and the sphenoidal sinuses) may, apart from addressing symptoms related to the tumor, also improve pituitary function, although the gland is sometimes damaged further as a result of the surgery.
When the tumor is removed by craniotomy (opening the skull), recovery is less likely–but sometimes this is the only suitable way to approach the tumor.
After surgery, it make take some time for hormone levels to change significantly. Retesting the pituitary hormone levels is therefore performed 2 to 3 months later.
Prolactinomas
may respond to dopamine agonist treatment–medication that mimics the action of dopamine on the lactrotrope cells, usually bromocriptine or cabergoline. This approach may improve pituitary hormone secretion in more than half the cases, and obviate the need for supplementary treatment.
Other specific underlying causes are treated as normally. For example, hemochromatosis is treated by venesection, the regular removal of a fixed amount of blood. Eventually, this decreases the iron levels in the body and improves the function of the organs in which iron has accumulated.
Hormone replacement
Most pituitary hormones can be replaced indirectly by administering the products of the effector glands:
1-Growth hormone
is available in synthetic form, but needs to be administered parenterally (by injection).
2-levothyroxine for hypothyroidism
3-testosterone for male hypogonadism and estradiol for female hypogonadism (usually with a progestagen to inhibit unwanted effects on the uterus).
4-hydrocortisone (cortisol) for adrenal insufficiency. Those requiring hydrocortisone are usually instructed to increase their dose in physically stressful events such as injury, hospitalization and dental work as these are times when the normal supplementary dose may be inadequate, putting the patient at risk of adrenal crisis.
Long-term follow up by specialists in endocrinology is generally needed for people with known hypopituitarism. Apart from ensuring the right treatment is being used and at the right doses, this also provides an opportunity to deal with new symptoms and to address complications of treatment.
Difficult situations arise in deficiencies of the hypothalamus-pituitary-gonadal axis in people (both men and women) who experience infertility; infertility in hypopituitarism may be treated with subcutaneous infusions of FSH, human chorionic gonadotropin–which mimics the action of LH–and occasionally GnRH.
Prognosis
Several studies have shown that hypopituitarism is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease and some also an increased risk of death of about 50% to 150% the normal population. It has been difficult to establish which hormone deficiency is responsible for this risk, as almost all patients studied had growth hormone deficiency. The studies also do not answer the question as to whether the hypopituitarism itself causes the increased mortality, or whether some of the risk is to be attributed to the treatments, some of which (such as sex hormone supplementation) have a recognized adverse effect on cardiovascular risk.
The largest study to date followed over a thousand people for eight years; it showed an 87% increased risk of death compared to the normal population. Predictors of higher risk were: female sex, absence of treatment for sex hormone deficiency, younger age at the time of diagnosis, and a diagnosis of craniopharyngioma. Apart from cardiovascular disease, this study also showed an increased risk of death from lung disease.
Quality of life may be significantly reduced, even in those people on optimum medical therapy. Many report both physical and psychological problems. It is likely that the commonly used replacement therapies still do not completely mimic the natural hormone levels in the body. Health costs remain about double those of the normal population.

Currently, Dr. Al-Baaz is Research Professor and Director of the Center for Remote Sensing at Boston University, Boston MA, U.S.A. He is Adjunct Professor of Geology at the Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Geological Society of America Foundation, Boulder, CO, and a member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering, Washington, DC

Biography
He was born on January 2, 1938 in the Nile Delta town of Zagazig. At the age of 20, he received a B.Sc. in Chemistry and Geology from Ain Shams University. In 1961, he received a M.S. degree in Geology from the Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy (now Missouri University of Science and Technology). In 1964 he received a PhD in Geology from the Missouri University of Science and Technology[1][2] after conducting research in 1962-1963 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge MA. In 1989, he received an Honorary Doctor of Science degree from the New England College, Henniker, NH; in 2002 a Professional Degree from Missouri S&T; in 2003 an Honorary Ph.D. from Mansoura University in Egypt; in 2004 a Doctor of Laws degree from the American University in Cairo; and in 2004 an Honorary Doctor of Engineering degree from Missouri S&T.
Post-Doctorate
Dr. Al-Baaz taught Geology at Assiut University, Egypt (1958-1960) and the University of Heidelberg, Germany (1964-1965). He joined the Pan American - U.A.R. Oil Company in 1966, where he participated in the discovery of El-Morgan, the first offshore oil field in the Gulf of Suez.

From 1967 to 1972, Dr. Al-Baaz participated in the Apollo Program as Supervisor of Lunar Science Planning at Bellcomm Inc., a division of AT&T that conducted systems analysis for NASA. During these six years, he was secretary of the Landing Site Selection Committee for the Apollo lunar landing missions, Principal Investigator of Visual Observations and Photography, and chairman of the Astronaut Training Group. His outstanding teaching abilities were confirmed by the Apollo astronauts. While orbiting the Moon for the first time during Apollo 15, Command Module Pilot Alfred Worden said, "After the King's [Farooq's nickname] training, I feel like I've been here before."[3]
Also during the Apollo program, Dr. Al-Baaz joined NASA officials in briefing members of the press on the results of the lunar missions. His ability to simplify scientific jargon made his remarks on the program's scientific accomplishments often quoted by the media.
Post-Apollo
After the Apollo Program ended in 1972, Dr. Al-Baaz joined the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC to establish and direct the Center for Earth and Planetary Studies at the National Air and Space Museum. At the same time, he was elected as a member of the Lunar Nomenclature Task Group of the International Astronomical Union. In this capacity, he continues to participate in naming features of the Moon as revealed by lunar photographic missions.
In 1973, NASA selected him as Principal Investigator of the Earth Observations and Photography Experiment on the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project (ASTP), the first joint American-Soviet space mission of July 1975. Emphasis was placed on photographing arid environments, particularly the Great Sahara of North Africa and the Arabian Peninsula, in addition to other features of the Earth and its oceans.
Emphasizing the study of the origin and evolution of arid landscapes, he collected field data during visits to every major desert in the world. One of his significant journeys took place soon after the United States and China had normalized relations in 1979, when he coordinated the first visit by American scientists to the deserts of northwestern China. The six-week journey was chronicled in the National Geographic and the Explorers Journal. His research on the origin and evolution of the desert resulted in his election as Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
From 1982 until he joined Boston University in 1986, he was Vice President of Itek Optical Systems of Lexington MA. During these years he supervised the utilization of the Space Shuttle's Large Format Camera photographs.
During the past 20 years, in his research at Boston University, Dr. Al-Baaz utilizes satellite images to better understand the origin and evolution of desert landforms. He is credited with providing evidence that the desert is not man-made, but the result of major climatic variations. His research uncovered numerous sand-buried rivers and streams in the Sahara based on the interpretation of radar images. These former water courses lead into depressions in the terrain, which he theorized must host groundwater. His analysis of these data resulted in the location of groundwater in the arid terrains of Egypt, Oman and the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.), and perhaps Darfur in Sudan[4] (unless it dried up)
Dr. Al-Baaz was elected Fellow of the Geological Society of America, the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World TWAS, and to the National Academy of Engineering (USA). In 1999, the Geological Society of America Foundation (GSAF) established the "Farooq Al-Baaz Award for Desert Research," to annually reward excellence in arid land studies. In 2007 the GSAF also established "Farooq Al-Baaz Student Research Award" to encourage desert research.
He is married, has four daughters, and six grandchildren.
Additional Notes
•    The popular science fiction television program Star Trek: The Next Generation featured a shuttlecraft named El-Baz.
•    In a National Geographic documentary film in 2002, Al-Baaz proposed a new source for the shape of The Pyramids at Giza. Al-Baaz believes that the ancient Egyptians chose to bury their dead in pyramid shaped structures because they knew from an earlier nomadic life that monumental pyramidal landforms which abound in the Western Desert of Egypt, and evade erosion.
•    In Episode 10 ("Galileo Was Right") of the TV series From the Earth to the Moon, (produced by Tom Hanks for HBO), his role in the training of the Apollo astronauts was featured in a segment entitled "The Brain of Farooq Al-Baaz." He was portrayed by actor Isa Totah.
•    In 1978 Dr. Al-Baaz was appointed Science Adviser to President Anwar Sadat of Egypt. He was charged with the selection of regions for land reclamation in the desert without detrimental affects on the environment. For his distinguished service, President Sadat awarded him Egypt's "Order of Merit - First Class."
•    He is the recipient of numerous honors and awards, including: the Golden Door Award of the International Institute of Boston; the Nevada Medal of the Desert Research Institute, and the Pioneer Award of the Arab Thought Foundation.

When your parents were young, people could buy cigarettes and smoke pretty much anywhere — even in hospitals! Ads for cigarettes were all over the place. Today we're more aware about how bad smoking is for our health. Smoking is restricted or banned in almost all public places and cigarette companies are no longer allowed to advertise on TV, radio, and in many magazines.
Almost everyone knows that smoking causes cancer, emphysema, and heart disease; that it can shorten your life by 10 years or more; and that the habit can cost a smoker thousands of dollars a year. So how come people are still lighting up? The answer, in a word, is addiction.
Once You Start, It's Hard to Stop
Smoking is a hard habit to break because tobacco contains nicotine, which is highly addictive. Like heroin or other addictive drugs, the body and mind quickly become so used to the nicotine in cigarettes that a person needs to have it just to feel normal.
People start smoking for a variety of different reasons. Some think it looks cool. Others start because their family members or friends smoke. Statistics show that about 9 out of 10 tobacco users start before they're 18 years old. Most adults who started smoking in their teens never expected to become addicted. That's why people say it's just so much easier to not start smoking at all.
How Smoking Affects Your Health
There are no physical reasons to start smoking. The body doesn't need tobacco the way it needs food, water, sleep, and exercise. In fact, many of the chemicals in cigarettes, like nicotine and cyanide, are actually poisons that can kill in high enough doses.
The body is smart. It goes on the defense when it's being poisoned. For this reason, many people find it takes several tries to get started smoking: First-time smokers often feel pain or burning in the throat and lungs, and some people feel sick or even throw up the first few times they try tobacco.
The consequences of this poisoning happen gradually. Over the long term, smoking leads people to develop health problems like heart disease, stroke, emphysema (breakdown of lung tissue), and many types of cancer — including lung, throat, stomach, and bladder cancer. People who smoke also have an increased risk of infections like bronchitis and pneumonia.
These diseases limit a person's ability to be normally active, and they can be fatal. Each time a smoker lights up, that single cigarette takes about 5 to 20 minutes off the person's life.
Smokers not only develop wrinkles and yellow teeth, they also lose bone density, which increases their risk of osteoporosis (pronounced: ahs-tee-o-puh-row-sus), a condition that causes older people to become bent over and their bones to break more easily. Smokers also tend to be less active than nonsmokers because smoking affects lung power.
Smoking can also cause fertility problems and can impact sexual health in both men and women. Girls who are on the pill or other hormone-based methods of birth control (like the patch or the ring) increase their risk of serious health problems, such as heart attacks, if they smoke.
The consequences of smoking may seem very far off, but long-term health problems aren't the only hazard of smoking. Nicotine and the other toxins in cigarettes, cigars, and pipes can affect a person's body quickly, which means that teen smokers experience many of these problems:
•    Bad skin. Because smoking restricts blood vessels, it can prevent oxygen and nutrients from getting to the skin — which is why smokers often appear pale and unhealthy. An Italian study also linked smoking to an increased risk of getting a type of skin rash called psoriasis.
•    Bad breath. Cigarettes leave smokers with a condition called halitosis, or persistent bad breath.
•    Bad-smelling clothes and hair. The smell of stale smoke tends to linger — not just on people's clothing, but on their hair, furniture, and cars. And it's often hard to get the smell of smoke out.
•    Reduced athletic performance. People who smoke usually can't compete with nonsmoking peers because the physical effects of smoking (like rapid heartbeat, decreased circulation, and shortness of breath) impair sports performance.
•    Greater risk of injury and slower healing time. Smoking affects the body's ability to produce collagen, so common sports injuries, such as damage to tendons and ligaments, will heal more slowly in smokers than nonsmokers.
•    Increased risk of illness. Studies show that smokers get more colds, flu, bronchitis, and pneumonia than nonsmokers. And people with certain health conditions, like asthma, become more sick if they smoke (and often if they're just around people who smoke). Because teens who smoke as a way to manage weight often light up instead of eating, their bodies lack the nutrients they need to grow, develop, and fight off illness properly.
Kicking Butts and Staying Smoke Free
All forms of tobacco — cigarettes, pipes, cigars, and smokeless tobacco — are hazardous. It doesn't help to substitute products that seem like they're better for you than regular cigarettes, such as filtered or low-tar cigarettes.
The only thing that really helps a person avoid the problems associated with smoking is staying smoke free. This isn't always easy, especially if everyone around you is smoking and offering you cigarettes. It may help to have your reasons for not smoking ready for times you may feel the pressure, such as "I just don't like it" or "I want to stay in shape for soccer" (or football, basketball, or other sport).
The good news for people who don't smoke or who want to quit is that studies show that the number of teens who smoke has dropped dramatically. Today, about 23% of high school students smoke.
If you do smoke and want to quit, you have lots of information and support available. Different approaches to quitting work for different people. For some, quitting cold turkey is best. Others find that a slower approach is the way to go. Some people find that it helps to go to a support group especially for teens. These are sometimes sponsored by local hospitals or organizations like the American Cancer Society. The Internet offers a number of good resources to help people quit smoking.
When quitting, it can be helpful to realize that the first few days are the hardest. So don’t give up. Some people find they have a few relapses before they manage to quit for good.

Denis Diderot (October 5, 1713 – July 31, 1784) was a French philosopher and writer. He was a prominent figure in the Enlightenment, and editor-in-chief of the famous Encyclopédie.
Diderot also contributed to literature, notably with Jacques le fataliste et son maître (Jacques the Fatalist and His Master), which emulated Laurence Sterne in challenging conventions regarding novels, their structure and content, while also examining philosophical ideas about free will. Diderot is also known as the author of the essay, "Regrets on Parting with My Old Dressing Gown," upon which many an article and sermon about consumer desire has been based.
Biography
Diderot was born in the eastern French city of Langres and commenced his formal education in the Jesuit School. In 1732, he earned a master of arts degree in philosophy. He abandoned the idea of entering the clergy and decided instead to study law. His study of the law, however, was short-lived. In 1734, Diderot decided instead to become a writer. Because of his refusal to enter one of the learned professions, he was disowned by his father, and for the next ten years he lived a rather bohemian existence.

In 1743, he further alienated his father by marrying Antoinette Champion, a devout Roman Catholic. The match was considered inappropriate because of Champion's low social status, poor education, fatherless status, lack of a dowry, and at thirty-two she was four years his senior. The marriage produced one surviving child, a girl. She was named Angelique after Diderot's mother and his dead sister. The death of his sister, a nun, from overwork in the convent may have affected Diderot's opinion of religion.
He had affairs with the writer Madame Puisieux and with Sophie Volland, to whom he was constant for the rest of her life. His letters to her are among the most graphic of all the pictures that we have of the daily life of the philosophic circle in Paris.
Though his work was broad and rigorous, it did not bring him riches. He secured none of the posts that were occasionally given to needy men of letters; he could not even obtain that bare official recognition of merit which was implied by being chosen a member of the Académie française. When the time came for him to provide a dowry for his daughter, he saw no alternative than to sell his library. When Catherine II of Russia heard of his straits, she commissioned an agent in Paris to buy the library, and then requested that the philosopher retain the books in Paris until she required them, and act as her librarian with a yearly salary. In 1773 and 1774, Diderot spent some months at the empress's court at St Petersburg.
He died of emphysema in Paris on July 31, 1784, and was buried in the city's Eglise Saint-Roch. His heirs sent his vast library to Catherine II, who had it deposited at the Russian National Library.
Diderot's earliest works included a translation of Stanyan's History of Greece (1743); with two colleagues, François-Vincent Toussaint and Marc-Antoine Eidous, he produced a translation of Robert James's Medical Dictionary[1] (1746–1748) and about the same date he published a free rendering of Shaftesbury's Inquiry Concerning Virtue and Merit (1745), with some original notes of his own. In 1746, he wrote his first original work: the Pensées philosophiques [2], and he presently added to this a short complementary essay on the sufficiency of natural religion. He composed a volume of bawdy stories, Les bijoux indiscrets (1748); in later years he repented of this work. In 1747, he wrote the Promenade du sceptique, an allegory pointing first at the extravagances of Catholicism; second, at the vanity of the pleasures of that world which is the rival of the church; and third, at the desperate and unfathomable uncertainty of the philosophy which professes to be so high above both church and world.
Diderot's next piece introduced him to the world as an original thinker, his famous Lettre sur les aveugles (1749). The immediate object of this short work was to show the dependence of men's ideas on their five senses. It considers the case of the intellect deprived of the aid of one of the senses; and in a second piece, published afterwards, Diderot considered the case of a similar deprivation in the deaf and mute. The Lettre sur les sourds et muets, however, is substantially a digressive examination of some points in aesthetics. The philosophic significance of the two essays is in the advance they make towards the principle of relativism. But what interested the militant philosophers of that day was an episodic application of the principle of relativism to the concept of God. What makes the Lettre sur les aveugles interesting is its presentation, in a distinct though undigested form, of the theory of variation and natural selection. It is worth noticing, too, as an illustration of the comprehensive freedom with which Diderot felt his way round any subject that he approached, that in this theoretic essay he suggests the possibility of teaching the blind to read through the sense of touch.
His speculation in the Lettre sur les aveugles was too hardy for the authorities, and he was thrown into the prison of Vincennes. Here he remained for three months; then he was released, to enter upon the gigantic undertaking of his life.

The bookseller and printer André Le Breton had applied to Diderot with a project for the publication of a translation into French of Ephraim Chambers' Cyclopaedia, or Universal Dictionary of Arts and Sciences, undertaken in the first instance by the Englishman John Mills, and the German, Gottfried Sellius. Diderot accepted the proposal, but in his busy and pregnant intelligence the scheme became transformed. Instead of a mere reproduction of the Cyclopaedia, he persuaded Le Breton to enter upon a new work, which should collect under one roof all the active writers, all the new ideas, all the new knowledge, that were then moving the cultivated class of the Republic of Letters to its depths, but still were comparatively ineffectual by reason of their dispersion.
His enthusiasm infected the publishers; they collected a sufficient capital for a vaster enterprise than they had at first planned; Jean le Rond d'Alembert was persuaded to become Diderot's colleague; the requisite permission was procured from the government; in 1750 an elaborate prospectus announced the project to a delighted public; and in 1751 the first volume was given to the world. The last of the letterpress was issued in 1765, but it was 1772 before the subscribers received the final volumes of the Encyclopédie, ou dictionnaire raisonné des sciences, des arts et des métiers.
Plagued by controversy from the beginning, the project was suspended by the courts in 1752. Just as the second volume was completed, accusations arose regarding seditious content concerning the editors entries on religion and natural law. Diderot was detained and his house was searched for manuscripts for subsequent articles. But the search proved fruitless as the manuscripts could not be found. They were being hidden in the house of an unlikely confederate-Chretien de Lamoignon Malesherbes, the very official who ordered the search. Although Malesherbes was a staunch absolutist-loyal to the monarchy, he was sympathetic to the literary project. Along with his support, and that of other well placed, influential confederates, the project resumed. Diderot returned to his efforts only to be constantly embroiled in controversy.
These twenty years were to Diderot not merely a time of incessant drudgery, but of harassing persecution and of injury from the desertion of friends. The ecclesiastical party detested the Encyclopédie, in which they saw a rising stronghold for their philosophic enemies. By 1757 they could endure it no longer. The subscribers had grown from 2,000 to 4,000, a measure of the growth of the work in popular influence and power. The Encyclopédie threatened the governing social classes of France (aristocracy) because it took for granted the justice of religious tolerance, freedom of thought, and the value of science and industry. It asserted the democratic doctrine that the main concern of the nation's government ought to be the nation's common people.
It was believed that the Encyclopédie was the work of an organized band of conspirators against society, and that the dangerous ideas they held were made truly formidable by their open publication. In 1759, the Encyclopédie was formally suppressed. The decree, however, did not stop the work, which went on, but its difficulties increased by the necessity of being clandestine.
D'Alembert withdrew from the enterprise and other powerful colleagues, including Anne Robert Jacques Turgot, Baron de Laune, declined to contribute further to a book which had acquired a bad reputation. Diderot was left to bring the task to an end as best he could. He wrote several hundred articles, some very slight, but many of them laborious, comprehensive and long. He damaged his eyesight in correcting proofs and in editing the manuscripts of less competent contributors. He spent his days at workshops, mastering manufacturing processes, and his nights in reproducing on paper what he had learned during the day. He was incessantly harassed by threats of police raids.
At the last moment, when his immense work was drawing to an end, he encountered a crowning mortification: he discovered that the bookseller, fearing the government's displeasure, had struck out from the proof sheets, after they had left Diderot's hands, all passages that he considered too dangerous. The monument to which Diderot had given the labor of twenty long and oppressive years was irreparably mutilated and defaced.

Although the Encyclopédie was Diderot's monumental work, he was the author of many pieces that sowed nearly every field of intellectual interest with new and fruitful ideas. He wrote sentimental plays, Le Fils naturel (1757) and Le Père de famille (1758), accompanying them with essays on theatrical theory and practice, including especially Les Entretiens sur Le Fils naturel (Conversations on Le Fils naturel), in which he announced the principles of a new drama—the serious, domestic, bourgeois drama of real life, in opposition to the stilted conventions of the classical French stage.
His art criticism was also highly influential. His Essais sur la peinture were described by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, who thought it worth translating, as "a magnificent work, which speaks even more helpfully to the poet than to the painter, though to the painter too it is as a blazing torch."
Diderot's most intimate friend was the philologist Friedrich Melchior Grimm. They were brought together by their friend in common at that time Jean-Jacques Rousseau. Grimm wrote newsletters to various high personages in Germany, reporting what was going on in the world of art and literature in Paris, then the intellectual capital of Europe. Diderot helped Grimm between 1759 and 1779, by writing an account of the annual exhibitions of paintings in the Paris Salon. These reports are highly readable pieces of art criticism. According to Charles Augustin Sainte-Beuve, they initiated the French into a new way of laughing, and introduced people to the mystery and purport of colour by ideas. "Before Diderot," Anne Louise Germaine de Staël wrote, "I had never seen anything in pictures except dull and lifeless colours; it was his imagination that gave them relief and life, and it is almost a new sense for which I am indebted to his genius."
Jean-Baptiste Greuze was Diderot's favorite contemporary artist. Greuze's most characteristic pictures were the rendering in colour of the same sentiments of domestic virtue and the pathos of common life, which Diderot had attempted to represent upon the stage. For Diderot was above all things interested in the life of individuals, not the abstract life of the race, but the incidents of individual character, the fortunes of a particular family, the relations of real and concrete motives in this or that special case. He delighted with the enthusiasm of a born casuist in curious puzzles of right and wrong, and in devising a conflict between the generalities of ethics and the conditions of an ingeniously contrived practical dilemma. Diderot's interest expressed itself in didactic and sympathetic form.
However, in two of his most remarkable pieces, this interest is not sympathetic, but ironic. Jacques le fataliste (written in 1773, but not published until 1796) is similar to Tristram Shandy and The Sentimental Journey. His dialogue Le Neveu de Rameau (Rameau's Nephew) is a "farce-tragedy" reminiscent of the Satires of Horace. A favorite classical author of Diderot's, Horace's words Vertumnis, quotquot sunt, natus iniquis are quoted at the top of the Nephew. Diderot's intention in writing the dialogue is disputed; whether it is merely a satire on contemporary manners, or a reduction of the theory of self-interest to an absurdity, or the application of irony to the ethics of ordinary convention, or a mere setting for a discussion about music, or a vigorous dramatic sketch of a parasite and a human original. Whatever its intent, it is a remarkable conversation, representing an era of that held the art of conversation in the highest regard. The writing and publication history of the Nephew is likewise a bit mysterious. Diderot never saw the work through to publication during his lifetime, but there is every indication it was of continual interest to him. Though the original draft was written in 1761, he made additions to it year after year until his death twenty-three years later. Goethe's translation (1805) was the first introduction of Le Neveu de Rameau to the European public. After executing it, he gave back the original French manuscript to Friedrich Schiller, from whom he had it. No authentic French copy of it appeared until the writer had been dead forty years (1823).
Diderot's miscellaneous pieces range from a graceful trifle like the Regrets sur ma vieille robe de chambre up to Le Rêve de d'Alembert, where he plunges into the depths of the controversy as to the ultimate constitution of matter and the meaning of life. Diderot was not a coherent and systematic thinker, but rather "a philosopher in whom all the contradictions of the time struggle with one another" (Rosenkranz). He did not develop a system of materialism, but he contributed many of the most declamatory books of the Système de la nature of his friend Paul Henri Thiry, baron d'Holbach, styled by some "the very Bible of atheism".
A Political Romance
A Political Romance is a 1759 novel by Laurence Sterne, author of Tristram Shandy.
The first work written by Sterne might be labelled a roman à clef or a cronique scandaleuse, which were so popular at the beginning of the eighteenth century. However, even these more suitable names do not do justice to the richness and slipperiness of this text. It can certainly be considered a mock-epic allegory that wraps in its translucent veils a provincial squabble between a church-lawyer, an archbishop and a Dean, i.e. a "Lilliputian" satire on ecclesiastical politics in Sterne’s York.
Plot introduction
This, though necessary, is not sufficient to account for the multifariousness of the work. The scheme of the allegorical satire not only overlaps with the narrative scheme of the romance or history, but with the epistolary novel as well, the parody of which is but the first external frame inside which many other genres are parodied.
The story of the squabble is just half the work. The other half is a "subjoined" key to the allegory and two other letters. And "subjoining" a key, which is in the end no key at all, represents, literary speaking, a "scandal" as shameful as the topical misdeeds that are told. Inexorably, the focus of the scandal shifts from the allegorical history of facts to the allegorical romance of their reading.

Cross reports, until the beginning of the last century the only version of A Political Romance available to readers and critics, once it was suppressed soon after its publication in 1759, was the mutilated version reprinted in 1769 (after Sterne’s death)' The title of that version was The History of a Good Warm Watch-Coat. But in September 1905 an original and unexpected copy was found in the library of the dean and chapter of York. Since then, another five original copies have been found. And what the finders found was that the 1769 publisher, further to making the humorist’s language suitable, also cut off the last three parts of the text, i.e., half the work. In 1914 then, when A Political Romance was published by the Club of Odd Volumes, only those few fortunate readers could read, further to the The History of a Good Warm Watch-Coat, the "Key" and the two final letters, the first addressed to the publisher, the second to the target of the satire.

Peter Courtney Quennell (b. March 9, 1905, Bickley, Kent (now in Greater London), England - d. October 27, 1993, London) was an English biographer, literary historian, editor, essayist, poet, and critic.
Quennell was the son of social historians C.H.B. Quennell, and his wife, Marjorie. Educated at Berkhamsted Grammar School and at Balliol College, Oxford, he first practised journalism in London. While still at school some of his poems were selected by Richard Hughes for the anthology Public School Verse, which brought him to the attention of writers such as Edith Sitwell.
In 1922 he published his first book, Masques and Poems.This was followed by many other volumes, particularly his Four Portraits of 1945 (studies of Boswell, Gibbon, Sterne, and Wilkes), books on London and works on Baudelaire (1929), Byron (1934-35), Pope (1949), Ruskin (1949), Hogarth (1955), Shakespeare (1963), Proust (1971) and Dr Johnson (1972).
In 1930 he taught at the University of Tokyo. In 1944-51, he was editor of the Cornhill Magazine and from 1951 to 1979 founder-editor of History Today.
He published two volume of autobiography, The Marble Foot (1976) and Wanton Chase (1980). He was married five times, and had two children, a daughter Sarah, from his third marriage and Alexander from his fifth. He received the CBE and was later knighted
Joaquim Maria Machado de Assis, pron. IPAdu often known as Machado de Assis, Machado, or Bruxo do Cosme Velho, (June 21, 1839, Rio de Janeiro—September 29, 1908, Rio de Janeiro) was a Brazilian novelist, poet and short-story writer. He is widely regarded as the most important writer of Brazilian literature.[1][2][3] However, he did not gain widespread popularity outside Brazil in his own lifetime.
Machado's works had a great influence on Brazilian literary schools of the late 19th century and 20th century. José Saramago, Carlos Fuentes, Susan Sontag and Harold Bloom are among his admirers[4] and Bloom calls him "the supreme black literary artist to date.
Biography
Son of Francisco José de Assis (a mulatto housepainter, descendent of freed slaves) and Maria Leopoldina Machado de Assis (a Portuguese washerwoman), Machado de Assis lost both his mother and his only sister at an early age. Machado is said to have learned to write by himself, and he used to take classes for free will. He learned to speak French first and English later, both fluently. He started to work for newspapers in Rio de Janeiro, where he published his first works and met established writers such as Joaquim Manuel de Macedo.

Machado de Assis married Carolina Xavier de Novais, a Portuguese descendant of a noble family. Soon the writer got a public job and this stability permitted him to write his best works. Machado de Assis began by writing popular novels which sold well, much in the late style of José de Alencar. His style changed in the 1880s, and it is for the sceptical, ironic, comedic but ultimately pessimistic works he wrote after this that he is remembered: the first novel in his "new style" was Epitaph for a Small Winner, known in the new Gregory Rabassa translation as The Posthumous Memoirs of Brás Cubas (a literal translation of the original title, Memórias Póstumas de Brás Cubas). In their brilliant comedy and ironic playfulness, these resemble in some ways the contemporary works of George Meredith in the United Kingdom, and Eça de Queirós in Portugal, but Machado de Assis' work has a far bleaker emotional undertone. Machado's work has also been compared with Laurence Sterne's Tristram Shandy.
Machado de Assis could speak English fluently and translated many works of William Shakespeare and other English writers into Portuguese. His work contains numerous allusions to Shakespearean plays, John Milton and influences from Sterne and Meredith. He is also known as a master of the short story, having written classics of the genre in the Portuguese language, such as O Alienista, Missa do Galo, "A Cartomante" and "A Igreja do Diabo".
Along with other writers and intellectuals, Machado de Assis founded the Brazilian Academy of Letters in 1896 and was its president from 1897 to 1908, when he died.
Machado's style is unique, and several literary critics have tried to explain it since 1897.[6] He is considered by many the greatest Brazilian writer of all times, and one of the greatest in the world as a romance and short story writer. His chronicles do not share the same status and his poems show a curious difference with the rest of his work: while his Machado's prose is serene and elegant, his poems are often shocking for the use of crude terms, sometimes similar to those of Augusto dos Anjos, another Brazilian writer.
American literary critic Harold Bloom considers Machado de Assis one of the greatest 100 geniuses of literature, to the point of considering him the greatest black writer western literature. He places Machado alongside writers such as Dante, Shakespeare e Cervantes. Machado's literary style has inspired many Brazilian writers and his works have been adapted to television, theater and cinema. In 1975 the Comissão Machado de Assis ("Machado de Assis Commission"), organized by the Brazilian Ministry of Education and Culture, organized and published critical editions of Machado's works, in 15 volumes. His main works were translated to many languages and great contemporary writers such as Salman Rushdie, Cabrera Infante and Carlos Fuentes and film director Woody Allen have confessed being fans of his fiction.[citation needed]
In his works, Machado involves the reader, breaking the so called fourth wall, being possibly the first Brazilian writer to use the technique so profusely.
Machado de Assis was fascinated with the theme of jealousy, and many of his novels are built on this intrigue. One of his most popular ones, Dom Casmurro, is still widely read in Brazilian schools.[7] The volume reflects Machado de Assis' life as a translator of Shakespeare, and also his influence from French realism, especially Honoré de Balzac, Gustave Flaubert and Émile Zola. In the novel, he also refers to Much Ado About Nothing, The Merry Wives of Windsor, Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, and most importantly, Othello. In fact, Helen Caldwell wrote a book comparing the Shakespearian play to Dom Casmurro "The Brazilian Othello of Machado de Assis - A study of Dom Casmurro". It gives new meaning to this story.[8][9] Although Bento - the main character who got the nickname found in the title - had not killed his wife, as Othello had, both are stories of how jealousy can destroy a happy life in marriage. "Dom Casmurro" is a nickname given to Bento in an unimportant case described in the first chapter of the book. While he travels by train from the city to Engenho Novo, he encounters a young man who reads him some poems. Bento, who was tired that day, falls asleep without hearing what is being read to him. The next day, the ignored poet began calling him "Dom Casmurro". "Dom" because of his noble appearance, used in a derogative way. Casmurro is a now old-fashioned word in Portuguese that means "taciturn".
In Dom Casmurro and in other works, Machado "breaks the fourth wall" and talks to the reader. Machado may be one of the earliest writers to use this technique.

Ould Mohamed ElBaradei, Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, who announced Friday that it won a Nobel Peace Prize with the IAEA in Cairo on June 17, .1942
He was appointed to the post in December 1997 and reappointed for a second term in September 2001 before it is renewing his early October.
Dr ElBaradei by one of the senior staff of the secretariat of the International Atomic Energy Agency, where he is since 1984 a number of senior positions including the post of Legal Adviser and, in 1993 the post of Assistant Director General for External Relations.
Dr. ElBaradei is the son of the late Mostafa ElBaradei, a lawyer, professor and former chairman of the Bar and obtained a Bachelor of Law at the University of Cairo in 1962 and a doctorate in international law at the Faculty of Law, University of New York in 1974, ElBaradei also received many honorary doctorate degrees from universities and international centers.
He began his career in the Egyptian Diplomatic Service in 1964 where he served twice a member of the Permanent Mission of Egypt to the United Nations in New York and Geneva, and served from 1974 to 1978 Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Mohamed ElBaradei studied law at Cairo University and began his career diplomat with the Foreign Ministry in 1964 and worked with the Permanent Mission of Egypt to the United Nations in both New York and Geneva.
In 1980 he left the diplomatic corps to become a Fellow of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) is responsible for programs of international law and from 1981 to 1987 he was an Adjunct Professor of International Law at the Faculty of Law, University of New York.
During his career as diplomat, international civil servant and scholar, Dr. ElBaradei has become intimately familiar with the work of international organizations, particularly in the areas of peace and security.
Has delivered many lectures in the fields of law, international organizations, disarmament and peaceful uses of nuclear energy, and has written many articles and books on these issues.
And Dr. ElBaradei, a member of several professional associations including the International Law Association and the American Society of International Law.

OSLO (AFP) - The victory of the International Atomic Energy Agency and its Director General Mohamed ElBaradei Friday the Nobel Peace Prize in 2005 for mixed reactions between praise and criticism due to the controversial role played by the IAEA in the promotion of civilian uses of nuclear energy.
The Nobel Committee announced the award to the IAEA and its Director-General of Egypt in recognition for "their efforts to prevent the use of nuclear energy for military purposes."
The UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, who won the prize with his organization in 2001 for "joy" in the words of his spokesman.
He said the prize "is timely to remember the need for progress in the field of nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament, while still weapons of mass destruction pose a grave danger to us all."
As well as French President Jacques Chirac and British Prime Minister Tony Blair both societies in Paris, who locked in their country's delicate and difficult negotiations with Iran over its nuclear program expressed their satisfaction for this option.
Chirac said: "I am pleased that the competent authorities awarded the Nobel Peace Prize to the International Atomic Energy Agency and its Director General ElBaradei, who forward for a long time especially in the current difficult period, a decisive contribution in the search for peace."
Blair said the award "clearly shows the great achievements for peace and security in the world" made by the agency of the United Nations.
And congratulated the U.S. Secretary of State of the International Atomic Energy Agency and its Director General Mohamed ElBaradei said in a statement that "the United States is determined to work with the International Atomic Energy Agency in order to avoid the proliferation of nuclear weapons technology."
For his part, former chief UN weapons inspector in Iraq, Hans Blix, the Swedish Agency and its Director won the prize "very good news."
Conversely, some organizations opposed to the IAEA and another candidate for the award objected to the selection of an organization working to promote civilian uses of nuclear energy.
The "out of the nuclear network," which includes 720 French association, said that "it should be the dismantling of the International Atomic Energy Agency", accusing it of playing "a key role in the process leading to their death human."
Greenpeace was also considered to protect the environment that the selection of the IAEA pose a "problematic", condemning the "dual role" played by the agency as "a policeman and a fan of the nuclear sector," he added.

ولد الدكتور محمد البرادعى المدير العام للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية والذى أعلن اليوم الجمعة عن فوزه بجائزة نوبل للسلام مناصفة مع الوكالة بالقاهرة فى 17 يونيو عام .1942
وقد عين البرادعى فى هذا المنصب فى ديسمبر 1997 وأعيد تعيينه لفترة ثانية فى سبتمبر 2001 قبل أن يتم التجديد له أوائل شهر اكتوبر.
وكان الدكتور البرادعى من قبل أحد كبار موظفى أمانة الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية حيث شغل فيها منذ عام 1984 عددا من المناصب الرفيعة بما فى ذلك منصب مستشارها القانونى ثم فى عام 1993 منصب مساعد المدير العام لشئون العلاقات الخارجية.
والدكتور البرادعى هو نجل المرحوم الاستاذ مصطفى البرادعى المحامى ونقيب المحامين الأسبق وحصل على درجة ليسانس حقوق فى جامعة القاهرة عام 1962 ثم على درجة الدكتوراة فى القانون الدولى فى كلية الحقوق جامعة نيويورك عام 1974وحصل البرادعى أيضا على العديد من درجات الدكتوراة الفخرية من جامعات ومراكز دولية.
وقد بدأ حياته المهنية فى السلك الدبلوماسى المصرى فى عام 1964 حيث عمل مرتين عضوا فى بعثة مصر الدائمة لدى الأمم المتحدة فى كل من نيويورك وجنيف كما عمل فى الفترة من 1974 الى 1978 مستشارا لوزير الخارجية.
درس محمد البرادعي القانون بجامعة القاهرة وبدأ مشواره الدبلوماسي مع وزارة الخارجية في 1964 وعمل مع بعثة مصر الدائمة الى الامم المتحدة في كل من نيويورك وجنيف.
وفى عام 1980 ترك البرادعى السلك الدبلوماسى ليصبح زميلا فى معهد الامم المتحدة للتدريب والبحوث (يونيتار) مسئولا عن برامج القانون الدولى ومن عام 1981 الى عام 1987 كان البرادعى أستاذا غير متفرغ للقانون الدولى فى كلية الحقوق جامعة نيويورك.
وخلال حياته المهنية كدبلوماسى وموظف دولى وأكاديمى أصبح البرادعى على دراية وثيقة بعمل المنظمات الدولية لاسيما فى مجالات السلم والأمن الدوليين.
وقد ألقى الكثير من المحاضرات فى مجالات القانون والمنظمات الدولية ونزع السلاح والاستخدامات السلمية فى الطاقة النووية كما كتب العديد من المقالات والكتب فى تلك المسائل.
والدكتور البرادعى عضو فى عدد من الرابطات المهنية منها رابطة القانون الدولى والجمعية الأمريكية للقانون الدولى .
والدكتور البرادعى متزوج من السيدة عايدة الكاشف المدرسة بالمدرسة الدولية فى فيينا ولديهما بنت ليلى وابن مصطفى مهندس صوتيات وكلاهما يعمل ويقيم فى لندن.
ويتم تسليم جائزة نوبل في تاريخ 10 ديسمبر من كل عام لمن يقوم بالأبحاث البارزة أو لمن يستطيع ان يبتكر تقنيات جديدة أو من يقوم بخدمات إجتماعية نبيلة .
وتعد جائزة نوبل أعلى مرتبة من الثناء والإطراء على مستوى العالم والأب الروحي لها هو الصناعي السويدي ومخترع الديناميت الفريد نوبل إذ قام السويدي نوبل بالمصادقة على الجائزة السنوية في وصيته التي وثقها في النادي السويدي-النرويجي في 27 نوفمبر .1895
أقيم أول إحتفال لتقديم جائزة نوبل في الآداب , الفيزياء, الكيمياء, والطب في الأكاديمية الملكية الموسيقية في مدينة ستوكهولم السويدية عام .1901 وابتداء من عام 1902, قام الملك بنفسه بتسليم جائزة نوبل للأشخاص الحائزين عليها.
تردد الملك اوسكار الثاني, ملك السويد في بداية الأمر في تسليم جائزة وطنية لغير السويديين, ولكنه تقبل الوضع فيما بعد لإدراكه لكمية الدعاية العالمية التي ستجنيها السويد.
يذكر أن العاشر من ديسمبر هو يوم وفاة الصناعي السويدي, صاحب جائزة نوبل.وتتضمن جائزة نوبل أكثر من مليون دولار أمريكي بقليل .
وفي عام 1968, قام البنك السويدي باستحداث جائزة نوبل للعلوم الإقتصادية , إلا ان عائلة نوبل لم تعترف بالجائزة المستحدثة حيث ان ألفريد نوبل لم يذكرها من ضمن المجالات التي تمنح لها جائزة نوبل.
أوسلو (اف ب) - اثار فوز الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية ومديرها العام محمد البرادعي الجمعة بجائزة نوبل للسلام للعام 2005 ردود فعل متفاوتة بين الاشادة والانتقادات نظرا للدور المثير للجدل الذي لعبته الوكالة في تشجيع الاستخدامات المدنية للطاقة النووية.
وأعلنت لجنة نوبل منح الجائزة الى الوكالة ومديرها العام المصري تقديرا ل"جهودهما الرامية الى منع استخدام الطاقة النووية لاهداف عسكرية".
فقد اعرب الامين العام للامم المتحدة كوفي انان الذي فاز بالجائزة مع منظمته عام 2001 عن "سروره" على لسان المتحدث باسمه.
وقال ان هذه الجائزة "تاتي في الوقت المناسب لتذكر بضرورة احراز تقدم في مجال منع انتشار الأسلحة النووية ونزع السلاح في حين لا تزال أسلحة الدمار الشامل تشكل خطرا كبيرا علينا جميعا".
كذلك أعرب الرئيس الفرنسي جاك شيراك ورئيس الوزراء البريطاني توني بلير المجتمعان في باريس واللذان تخوض بلادهما مفاوضات دقيقة وصعبة مع ايران بشأن ملفها النووي عن ارتياحهما لهذا الخيار.
وقال شيراك "انني مسرور لكون السلطات المختصة منحت جائزة نوبل للسلام الى الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية ومديرها العام البرادعي اللذين قدما منذ وقت طويل ولا سيما في الفترة الصعبة الحالية مساهمة حاسمة في البحث عن السلام".
وقال بلير ان هذه الجائزة "تشير بوضوح كبير الى الانجازات من اجل السلام والامن في العالم" التي حققتها الوكالة التابعة للامم المتحدة.
وهنأت وزيرة الخارجية الاميركية الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية ومديرها العام محمد البرادعي وقالت في بيان ان "الولايات المتحدة عازمة على العمل مع الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية من اجل تفادي انتشار تكنولوجيا السلاح النووي".
من جهته اعتبر كبير المفتشين الدوليين سابقا في العراق السويدي هانس بليكس ان فوز الوكالة ومديرها بالجائزة "خبر سار للغاية".
بالمقابل فان بعض المنظمات المعارضة للطاقة الذرية ومرشح آخر للجائزة اعترضوا على اختيار منظمة تعمل على تشجيع الاستخدامات المدنية للطاقة النووية.
واعتبرت "شبكة الخروج من النووي" الفرنسية التي تضم 720 جمعية انه "يجدر تفكيك الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية" متهمة اياها بلعب "دور اساسي في عملية تقود البشرية الى هلاكها".
كذلك اعتبرت منظمة غرينبيس لحماية البيئة ان اختيار الوكالة الذرية يطرح "اشكالية" منددة ب"الدور المزدوج" الذي تلعبه الوكالة ك"شرطي ومشجع للقطاع النووي" في آن.
واضافت المنظمة "يمكن التساؤل حول الحكمة في منح البرادعي جائزة نوبل (للسلام) حيث انه يدير الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية المؤيدة للنشاطات النووية" معتبرة في المقابل ان "البرادعي جسد في الفترة الاخيرة صوت المنطق في عالم منع انتشار الاسلحة النووية اذ عارض الحرب في العراق ودافع عن فكرة شرق اوسط منزوع السلاح النووي".
من جهته انتقد الناشط الياباني ضد انتشار الاسلحة النووية سنجي ياماغوشي المرشح لجائزة نوبل هذا الخيار الهادف بنظره الى ارضاء الولايات المتحدة التي كانت ستجد نفسها في قفص الاتهام لو منحت الجائزة الى ناجين من القنبلتين الذريتين على ناغازاكي وهيروشيما.
وقال ياماغوشي الناجي من ناغازاكي ان "الولايات المتحدة مسؤولة عن عجزها عن منع بلدان اخرى من امتلاك السلاح النووي".
وسئل رئيس لجنة نوبل اولي دانبولت ميوس ان لم يكن اختيار الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية يشكل انتقادا للادارة الاميركية فاكد انه لا يستهدف اي دولة خاصة بل يشكل "تحديا موجها الى جميع رؤساء الدول".
ولعبت الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية دورا هاما جدا قبل ان تشن القوات الاميركية والبريطانية الحرب على العراق. وكانت تؤكد خلافا للموقف الاميركي ان صدام حسين لم يكن يملك اسلحة دمار شامل وهو امر بات الان مسلما به بعد ان عرض الوكالة لاستياء واشنطن.
من جهة اخرى وعبر الزعيم التاريخي لنقابة "سوليدارنوسك" (تضامن) البولندية ليش فاليسا الحائز جائزة نوبل للسلام للعام 1983 عن خيبة امله لعدم منح الجائزة الى "شخص".

النظافة عامل أساسي للرّقي و الازدهار
تهتمّ المجتمعات الإنسانية بالصحّة البدنية لأفرادها ليعيشوا أقوياء جسماً و عقلاً قادرين على العمل و الابتكار و تحمّل مسئوليات الحياة ، لأنّ :" العقل السليم في الجسم السليم " و لا يمكن لأي إنسان أن يعيش حياة صحيحة سليمة إلاّ إذا كانت هذه الحياة نظيفة في كل المجالات و الميادين .
كما أنّ الديانات السماوية و منها الدِّين الإسلامي الحنيف حثّت على النظافة في كل شيء ، في الملبس و البدن ،لكونها أساس السلامة و الصحة ، حتى أنّه أوجب على المسلم تنظيف بعض أعضاء جسمه و خاصّة تلك التي يستخدمها في أعماله اليومية خمس مرات في اليوم ، بل جعل ذلك عبادة يومية متكررة ضمانا لنقاوة و طهارة هذه الأعضاء ونظافتها .
النظافة عامل أساسي لتحضّر المجتمعات
تلعب النظافة دورًا كبيرًا في رُقي الأمم و ازدهارها ، لكونها عنوان تمدّنها و تحضّرها ، فما من مجتمع متقدّم إلاّ و تراه يضع نصب عينيه النظافة و الصحة كشرطين أساسيين لبناء مجتمع خالٍ من الشوائب الاجتماعية و الطفيلية ، و حتى الديانات السماوية اهتمت بها و أعطتها اهتمامها الأوفر . حيث أعطتها الأولوية في حياة الفرد ، فالمحافظة على نظافة الجسم و العقل حثّ عليها ديننا الإسلامي كي يعيش الفرد قوي الجسم سليم البدن قادراً على الابتكار و التنفيذ و تحمّل مسؤوليات الحياة ، لكون العقل السليم في الجسم السليم ، لأنّه لا يمكن لأي شخص كان ، أن يحيا حياة آمنة سليمة ، إلاّ إذا كان نظيف الجسم و العقل و الدين الإسلامي أفرد لها كل شيء. حيث اهتم بنظافة الفرد الذي هو عنصر من عناصر تكوين المجتمع ، فإذا كان الفرد نظيفاً صالحاً كان المجتمع نظيفاً صالحاً . و قد أوجب عليه تنظيف جسمه ضماناً لاستمرار طهارته و نظافته في العديد من الآيات القرآنية ، حيث يقول سبحانه و تعالى: " يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا إِذَا قُمْتُمْ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَاغْسِلُوا وُجُوهَكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ إِلَى الْمَرَافِقِ وَامْسَحُوا بِرُءُوسِكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ إِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ .
وكذلك اهتم بنظافة الملبس والمكان حيث يتجلى في الأمر بتنظيفهما و تطهيرهما ، بل عن تطهير الثياب ، له أهمية كبيرة . فإذا قام الإنسان بالاعتناء بملبسه و مكانه و حرص على نظافتهما يكون قد قام بواجب وطني ديني و ساهم في نظافة مجتمعه و جيرانه وهنا يقول الرسول" ص" :إن الله تعالى طيّب يحبّ الطيب ، نظيف يحب النظافة " ثم يقول : " فنظّفوا أفئدتكم ( قلوبكم ) و لا تتشبهوا باليهود " لأنّ إهمال نظافة الأجسام و الأمكنة هي من العادات السيئة .

النظافة في خدمة الصحة البدنية و العقلية
                 إنّ النظافة لجمال و لهذا الجمال أثره في سمو نفوس الأفراد ، في أهدافها و وصولها لغايتها ، و هو مظهر من مظاهر اكتمال الفرد نفسيا و تناسقه اجتماعيا مع محيط مجتمعه ومواطنيه ، حيث يجب أن يتّخذ الفرد كل الوسائل الجمال للظهور بالمظهر اللائق كفرد صالح سليم ، كل هذا من شأنه أن يعطي صورة حسنة لمجتمعنا لكون نظافة شعب ،ما هي إلاّ دليل على مدى تحضّره و خلقه .كما أنّها دليل على استكمال تقديره لوجوده و حياته ،و كل هذا من شأنه حماية صحة الأفراد و وقايتها من الأمراض التي تحيق بها لكون الصحة أغلى ما يملك الفرد في حياته. لذلك يجب عليه الحرص عليها و الاعتناء بها،و هي ليست سلاحا ماديا فقط ، بل لها أثرها العميق في تقوية النفس و تمكين الإنسان من النهوض بأعباء حياته و مجتمعه ،و ما أحوج أبناء شعبنا إلى الجسم النظيف القوي السليم الصبور ، إذ يقول عليه الصلاة والسلام :"المؤمن القوي خير من المؤمن الضعيف" حيث طهارته و نظافته تكريم و واجب لأنّه مهما تكاثرت الأشغال اليومية فلا ينبغي ترك الجسم مهملاً .
و النظافة لا تقتصر على الفرد وحده ،بل تمتد على المكان الذي يسكن فيه و المجتمع الذي يعيش فيه مع أبناء مجتمعه ،حيث تنظف و تطهر من جميع الفضلات و النفايات لئلا تكون بمثابة مصدر للعلل والأمراض. و حتى يكون المجتمع في صورة مشرفة. من هنا ندرك من أنّ النظافة أساس الصحة البدنية و العقلية . و هي عنوان الوعي الاجتماعي لأي شعب ، فعلى كل فرد المحافظة عليها ليحافظ على سلامة جسمه ، و عقله ، و مجتمعه ، لأنّ عدم المحافظة على الأشياء و إلقاء الفضلات و الأوساخ في الأماكن العامة ، و الخاصة هو عمل في غير صالح الفرد و المجتمع . معاً بل سبب في إصابته بالأمراض الخطيرة والإساءة لمجتمعه .
التدابير الضرورية لبناء مجتمع نظيف
تبيّن لنا أنّ النظافة عامل حضاري ، لذلك ما فتئت دولتنا الفتية تعطي للنظافة اهتماما كبيراً على جميع المستويات ، بحيث أفردت لها أسابيع من كل سنة تقوم فيه بحملات تنظيفية إعلامياً و ماديا للأماكن العامة و الخاصة ، لجعل المجتمع الجزائري نظيفا خاليا من كافة الشوائب التي تسيء إلى المجتمعات الراقية.
          لذلك فمجتمعنا الجزائري المتمسك بمبادئ و أخلاق دينه الحنيف ساهر على خلق مجتمع نظيف مثالي ، يعي ابعاد النظافة .غير أنّه يجب علينا جميعا أفرادا و جمعات أن نكثف جهودنا و نتعاون على جعل مسألة نظافة الفرد و ما يحيط به مسألة متجددة و دائمة وذلك بالحرص على اتخاذ التدابير الوقائية المختلفة و السهر على حسن تطبيقها . ومن هذه التدابير :

1- قيام أجهز الإعلام بتربية الجماهير تربية صحية و بالتعاون مع الجهات المعنية بالأمر بحملات التوعية الصحية في القرى و المدن و الأرياف .
2- استمرار ( و القيام بـ )حملات النظافة و شموليتها للأماكن العامة والخاصة .
3- الصرامة في الرقابة الصحية على الأماكن العمومية والمطاعم والمقاهي و الحدائق ...الخ
4- سن قوانين صارمة على مخالفي قواعد الصحة و تعميم إجبارية تطهير الأحياء و المدن بالمحاليل المطهّرة .

بهذه التدابير مع الوعي الجماهيري لقواعد النظافة و الصحة نستطيع خلق مجتمع مصري متمدن راق نظيف .

ولا أحد ينكر أن هذا السقوط المخيف للاقتصاد الأمريكي سوف يؤدي إلي عواقب وخيمة في الاقتصاد العالمي والاقتصاد الأمريكي نفسه‏,‏ ولكن ما يعنينا هو تأثير هذه المتغيرات العالمية الجديدة للاقتصاد الرأسمالي علي اقتصادنا المصري المحدود والمتطلع ويمكن الإشارة إلي هذه التأثيرات المتوقعة في عدة نقاط علي النحو التالي‏:‏

أولا تأثير الميزان التجاري المصري المتوقع بشكل مباشر من جراء نقص التبادل التجاري المتوقع مع الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وأوروبا خاصة في مجال تصدير الملابس الجاهزة والتي نصدر نسبة‏60%‏ منها إلي أمريكا و‏35%‏ إلي أوروبا‏,‏ وكذلك الفواكه والخضراوات المصرية والمنتجات الغذائية والتي ستتأثر بنسبة‏12%‏ هذا العام حسب تصريحات المجلس التصديري المصري‏.‏

أما إيرادات قناة السويس فمن المتوقع أن تنخفض بنسب تتراوح بين‏15%‏ و‏20%‏ لتقلص حركة التجارة العالمية بين الولايات المتحدة وأوروبا ودول جنوب شرق آسيا تأثرا بالكارثة المالية وكانت البورصة المالية المصرية قد شهدت تراجعا‏,‏ وهو ما حدث بالفعل حيث فقدت أسهم العديد من الشركات أكثر من‏75%‏ من قيمتها في السقوط المروع للبورصة المصرية بعد اجازة عيد الفطر المبارك مباشرة‏,‏ وبلغت قيمة الخسائر الدفترية نحو‏315‏ مليار جنيه لأسهم الشركات المضاربة في البورصة كما أن هناك‏12‏ شركة مصرية لها شهادات إيداع دولية في البورصات العالمية تأثرت تأثرا بالغا من سقوط البورصات العالمية ـ كما أن استثمارات الأفراد المصريين بمحافظ الأوراق المالية بالخارج قد تأثرت تأثرا مباشرا‏,‏ وتقدر قيمة الأموال المصرية للأفراد في البورصات الدولية بنحو‏960‏ مليون دولار‏.‏

القطاع المصرفي المصري الذي يودع أرصدة بالخارج تصل إلي نحو‏123‏ مليار جنيه كما أنه من المتوقع أن يتأثر

في يونيو‏.2008 واستثمارات البنوك المصرية في الأوراق المالية الأجنبية بلغت أكثر من‏15‏ مليار‏

وبالنسبة للموازنة العامة للدولة فمن المتوقع أن تواجه تراجعا للاستثمارات الأجنبية في مصر والتي تسهم بشكل مباشر في إنشاء مشروعات جديدة وزيادة النشاط الاقتصادي وتشغيل العمالة المصرية وتحصيل الضرائب والتأمينات والرسوم العامة‏,‏ هذا بخلاف حجم الخسائر في حركة التجارة الخارجية تصديرا واستيرادا بنحو‏6‏ مليارات دولار مقارنة بالعام الماضي‏,‏ منها‏4‏ مليارات دولار صادرات و‏2‏ مليار دولار واردات ذلك مقارنة بالعام الماضي‏2008/2007(‏ تصريح لوزير التنمية الاقتصادية‏)‏ وإن كان انخفاض أسعار البترول والحبوب الغذائية والزيوت والمعادن والحديد والنحاس والألمونيوم بنحو‏35%‏ سيكون في صالح مصر وتخفيف الضغوط علي مبالغ الدعم بشرط القضاء علي الاحتكارات المعروفة للجميع في صناعات الحديد والأسمنت والأسمدة ومواد البناء مما يخفف ويقلل عجز الموازنة‏.‏

أما سوق العقار المصري فقد شهدت تباطؤا في الفترة القادمة لزيادة المعروض عن المطلوب خاصة في الإسكان الفاخر وتأثر حركة التمويل العقاري بالأزمة ـ وإن كان في أضيق الحدود ـ وكذلك لتخوف المشترين المتوقعين مما يحدث في الاقتصاد العالمي وتأثيره علي الاقتصاد المصري المحلي خاصة في أزمة العقارات ومن المتوقع أن تنخفض الأسعار في حدود‏15%‏ إلي‏20%.‏

إن كل هذه النتائج المتوقعة للسقوط العظيم للاقتصاد الأمريكي والعالمي والكساد المتوقع في جوانب كثيرة من تداعيات حياتنا اليومية يدفعنا إلي ضرورة إعلان حالة الانتباه والطواريء المصرية‏,‏ حيث سيشهد الاقتصاد المصري تأثرا حقيقيا مع مرور الوقت كما قال الرئيس مبارك في أثناء زيارته الأخيرة لفرنسا‏.‏

ولا مفر من أن نبحث عن شركاء جدد لدفع اقتصادنا بعيدا عن المشاركة الأمريكية والأوروبية‏..‏ وفتح أسواق جديدة لمنتجاتنا في إفريقيا وآسيا واستراليا وأمريكا الجنوبية ودعم الصادرات المصرية وتشجيع الحكومة لتلعب دورها المنتظر في مثل هذه الحالات والمواقف الصعبة مثل تنشيط الصناعات الكبيرة وتحفيز الطلب المحلي والدخول كلاعب مؤثر في الصناعة والتجارة الداخلية والخارجية والسياحة الدولية وزيادة الانفاق العام الحكومي علي مشروعات البنية الأساسية والمشروعات الكبري حتي تسهم في دوران واستثمار الأموال العامة وأموال البنوك وتخفيف حدة البطالة المتوقعة وعدم ترك قوي السوق الرأسمالية للعب والمضاربة بلا مراقبة حقيقية تضمن استقرار السوق وأمنها حتي لا نقع نحن أيضا في فخ السقوط الملعون الذي سقط فيه الكبار من قبلنا‏.‏

What is the treatment:

- To stimulate the forces of development in the community.

- The organization of supply and demand for labor and to achieve a balance between them, which requires the need to increase investments to accommodate the largest number of employment.

- The return of the welfare state protection and strengthen the state's role in reviewing wages and prices and confirm its authority in issuing laws that govern the operation of the market and to intervene with force in economic activity.

- To postpone the privatization program and selling companies.

- Coordination with the unions, banks and the establishment of large-scale projects do not rely on technology and the expansion of the training program in the field of handicrafts and semi-skilled manpower.

- Reform and restructuring of the textile sector and included investments in the sector to benefit from rehabilitation and to reduce the problem of unemployment.

- Without a real reform of the education will not improve any industry, large or small, must be re-looking at components of the education policy and training.

مقدمـــــه

إنها حقا كارثة تستوجب الوقوف .. ولفت الانتباه .. فالواقع يؤكد أن معدلات البطالة فى تزايد مستمر ، الجميع يحاول البحث عن طريق للخروج من الأزمة ولكن الواضح أنه يزداد ابتعادا!!

فى السطور التالية نحاول الاقتراب من جذور المشكلة بشكل موضوعى بعيدأ عن المزايدات وإلقاء الاتهامات فى محاولة للوقوف على تفاصيل وأبعاد القضية فى محاولة لإيجاد الطريق الصحيح

و البطالة ، بوجه عام، هى تعبير عن قصور فى تحقيق الغايات من العمل فى المجتمعات البشرية، وحيث الغايات من العمل متعددة، تتعدد مفاهيم البطالة فيقصد بالبطالة السافرة وجود أفراد قادرين على العمل وراغبين فيه، ولكنهم لا يجدون عملاً ، وللأسف يقتصر الاهتمام بالبطالة، فى حالات كثيرة، على البطالة السافرة فقط. من هنا ابدأ بحثى المتواضع عن مشكلة وكارثة البطالة ....

الموضــــوع

ان البطالة هي ظاهرة اقتصادية بدأ ظهورها بشكل ملموس مع ازدهار الصناعة إذ لم يكن للبطالة معنى في المجتمعات الريفية التقليدية. طبقا لمنظمة العمل الدولية فإن العاطل هو كل قادر على العمل وراغب فيه، و يبحث عنه، و يقبله عند مستوى الأجر السائد، ولكن دون جدوى. من خلال هذا التعريف يتضح أنه ليس كل من لا يعمل عاطل فالتلاميذ و المعاقين والمسنين والمتقاعدين ومن فقد الأمل في العثور على عمل و أصحاب العمل المؤقت ومن هم في غنى عن العمل لا يتم أعتبارهم عاطلين عن العمل

.إن مشكلة البطالة تعد من أخطر المشاكل التي تهدد استقرار وتماسك المجتمع العربي ولكن نجد أن أسباب البطالة تختلف من مجتمع إلى مجتمع حتى إنها تختلف داخل المجتمع الواحد من منطقة الى أخرى فهناك أسباب اقتصادية وأخرى اجتماعية وأخرى سياسية ولكن كلاً منها يؤثر على المجتمع ويزيد من تفاقم مشكلة البطالة.

يمكن أن نشير إلى ثلاث أنواع رئيسة للبطالة وهي :

البطالة الدورية ( البنيوية ) والناتجة عن دورية النظام الرأسمالي المنتقلة دوما بين الانتعاش والتوسع الاقتصادي و بين الانكماش والأزمة الاقتصادية التي ينتج عنها وقف التوظيف والتنفيس عن الأزمة بتسريح العمال.
البطالة الاحتكاكية وهي ناتجة عن تنقل العمال ما بين الوظائف والقطاعات و المناطق أو نقص المعلومات فيما يخص فرص العمل المتوفرة.
البطالة المرتبطة بهيكلة الاقتصاد وهي ناتجة عن تغير في هيكل الطلب على المنتجات أو التقدم التكنولوجي، أو انتقال الصناعات إلى بلدان اخرى بحثا عن شروط استغلال أفضل ومن أجل ربح أعلى.

البطالة المقنعة.

وهي تتمثل بحالة من يؤدي عملاً ثانوياً لا يوفر لهُ كفايتهُ من سبل العيش، أو إن بضعة أفراد يعملون سوية في عمل يمكن أن يؤديه فرد واحد أو أثنان منهم. وفي كلا الحالتين لا يؤدي الشخص عملاً يتناسب مع ما لديه من قدرات وطاقة للعمل.

هى مجموع القادرين على العمل والراغبين فيه والباحثين عنه ويقبلوا الأجر السائد ولكن دون جدوى وهى تعنى الحرمان والجوع والجريمة والتسول والتطرف و تعنى عدم استقرار النظم السياسية والاجتماعية و تعنى زيادة المرض وزيادة الوفيات وهى أزمة عالمية لأنه يوجد فى العالم مليار شخص دون عمل أى ما يوازى 30% من القوة العمل .

وهى إهدار لطاقات المجتمع بحرمان المجتمع من جهد أبنائه وخسارة ما صرفه المجتمع على تعليمهم (70% من خرجي الجامعات والمدارس الثانوية بلا عمل) .

أنها أزمة صعبة ومعقده فى أن واحد بسب الجذور العميقة التى أنبتت هذه الأزمة والمتمثلة فى ( التخلف الاقتصادى – ضعف موقعنا فى الاقتصاد العالمى – فشل جهود التنمية – أزمة المديونية الخارجية – الانصياع لبرامج الانكماش التى تمليها علبنا الدولة المانحة ) و يعتبر الاقتصاديون أن حد الأمان لمشكلة البطالة هو 4% من قوة العمل و أن حد الكارثة هو أن يعطل واحد من كل 6 عمال والنسبة المعتمدة فى بلدنا هى 17.5% إلى 20%......!!!!

وباعتبار البطالة هى مجموع القادرين على العمل والراغبين فيه والباحثين عنه ويقبلوا الأجر السائد ولكن دون جدوى وهى تعنى الحرمان والجوع والجريمة والتسول والتطرف و تعنى عدم استقرار النظم السياسية والاجتماعية و تعنى زيادة المرض وزيادة الوفيات وهى أزمة عالمية لأنه يوجد فى العالم مليار شخص دون عمل أى ما يوازى 30% من القوة العمل .

ويزيد من خطورة المشكلة :

1 - 50% من السكان يعيشون قريبا من خط الفقر (دخل الأسرة حوالى 50 دولار فى الشهر ) ويدخل سوق العمل نصف مليون شاب وشابة سنويا يبحثون عن عمل فى الوقت الذى يصل فيه معدل البطالة 50 % و20% فى المدن .

أسباب البطالة

يمكن تلخيص اسباب البطالة فيما يلي:

تدخل الدولة في السير العادي لعمل السوق الحرة وخاصة فيما يخص تدخلها لضمان حد أدنى للأجور، إذ أن تخفيض الأجور والضرائب هما الكفيلان بتشجيع الاستثمار وبالتالي خلق الثروات و فرص العمل.
أشكال التعويض عن البطالة و قوانين العمل.
وايضاً هناك فقر شديد فى الفكر الاقتصادى الراهن لفهم المشكلة وسبل الخروج منها بل إن هناك تيار فكر ينادى بان المشكلة تخص ضحاياها و أن العاطلين عن العمل هم الذين فشلوا فى التكيف مع سوق العمل .
عزوف الرأسماليين عن الاستثمار إذا لم يؤدي الإنتاج إلى ربح كافي يلبي طموحاتهم.
التزايد السكاني.
التزايد المستمر في استعمال الآلات وأرتفاع الانتاجية مما يستدعي خفض مدة العمل وتسريح العمال.
بعد الأزمة الاقتصادية الكبرى التي ضربت النظام الرأسمالي في مطلع الثلاثينات (أزمة 1929) وأرتفاع عدد العاطلين عن العمل بشكل مهول (12 مليون عاطل في الولايات المتحدة – 6 ملايين في ألمانيا) أرجع بعض علماء الإقتصاد أسباب البطالة إلى أخطاء بعض الرأسماليين الذين لا ينفقون بشكل كافي على الاستثمار.
تفاقم آثار الثورة العلمية والتكنولوجية على العمالة حيث حلت الفنون الإنتاجية المكثفة لرأس المال محل العمل الإنساني في كثير من قطاعات الاقتصاد القومي ومن ثم انخفاض الطلب على عنصر العمل البشري.
انتقال عدد من الصناعات الموجودة بالبلاد الرأسمالية المتقدمة إلى الدول النامية من خلال الشركات الدولية النشاط للاستفادة من العمالة الرخيصة في البلاد مما أثر على أوضاع العمالة المحلية في هذه الصناعات في البلاد الرأسمالية المتقدمة.
لجوء الكثير من الحكومات الرأسمالية إلى انتهاج سياسات انكماشية فكان طبيعياً أن يتم تحجيم الإنفاق العام الجاري الاستثماري في مختلف المجالات. وكان من نتيجة هذه السياسات انخفاض الطلب على العمالة.
انسحاب القطاع العام من عملية التوظيف بينما كان فى الماضى يوفر واحدة من كل أربع فرص أصبح الآن يزيد حجم المشكلة بسبب اتجاهه لإحالة العمال إلى المعاش المبكر وتوقفه عن تعيين عماله جديدة .

رفع وتيرة النمو الاقتصادي بشكل يمكن من خلق مناصب الشغل ( في ظل الرأسمالية المعولمة يمكن تحقيق النمو دون خلق فرص الشغل)، و في الدول الصناعية لا يمكن الارتفاع عن نسبة 2.5 في المئة بسبب قيود العرض ( يتم تدمير النسيج الاقتصادي للعالم الثالث لحل أزمة المركز من خلال سياسات التقويم الهيكلي و المديونية التي من نتائجها تفكيك صناعات العالم الثالث و تحويله لمستهلك لمنتجات الدول الصناعية).
خفض تكلفة العمل أي تخفيض الأجور بشكل يخفض تكلفة الانتاج و يرفع القدرة على المنافسة و تحقيق الأرباح .
تغيير شروط سوق العمل يعني المطالبة بحذف الحد الأدنى للأجور، خفض تحملات التغطية الاجتماعية و الضرائب، وتقليص أو حذف التعويض عن البطالة تخفيض الأجور و سعات العمل ( المرونة في الأجور و سعات العمل (

استحالة تامين المورد الكافية للإنفاق على العاطلين دون الإضرار بأوضاع التطور الاقتصادى .
ترجع دور الدولة فى المجالين الاقتصادى و الاجتماعى الأفكار التى تعطى الأولوية لربحية رأس المال متجاهلة البعدين الاجتماعى والانسانى .
ترجع العنصر الإنسانى فى العمل بنسبة 35 % بسبب التكنولوجيا فأصبحت هناك وظائف فقط لأقلية ذات خبرة و كفاءة ومعرفة .
انهيار صناعات عريقة مثل صنعة الغزل والنسيج التى تستوعب 33 % من حجم العمالة .
تضارب السياسات النقدية والحوافز المقدمة للاستثمار يؤثر تأثيرا بالغا على الصادرات التى تدنت بشكل كبير ويقلل فرص فتح آفاق جديدة للإنتاج الذى يستوعب أعداد إضافية من العمالة .
اهتزاز الأداء الاقتصادى للدولة ما يبن الرواج والكساد لعدم القدرة على الشراء من المواطنين وتناقص القوة الشرائية تعنى هبوط الإنتاج و تزايد المخزون و انخفاض الطلب على العمالة .
تفاهم ظاهرة الدين الخارجى و نمو فاحش فى أعباء خدمة الدين و ارتفاع التضخم و انسداد فرص العمل و الوقوع فى براثن الدولة المانحة التى أوصت بسياسات انكماشية ( زيادة سعر الفائدة – تحرير الجنيه – إلغاء الدعم – بيع الشركات – زيادة أسعار الطاقة و الخدمات – زيادة الضرائب غير المباشرة – تسريح العمالة ) .
ضعف سيطرة الحكومة على القرار الاقتصادى بسبب التدخل القوى للدول المانحة و تداعيات العولمة و الجات و تكتل الدول الصناعية العالمية فى مواجهة الدول .

نتائج البطالة :

للبطالة نتائج متناقضة على النظام الإقتصادي الرأسمالي وعلى المجتمع البورجوازي والمضطهدين الذين يعشون في ظله. فهي من جهة تمكن الرأسمالي من شراء قوة العمل، بماهي سلعة، بأقل ثمن ممكن و الوصول متى شاء إلى يد عاملة رخيصة. كما تمكن البورجوازية كطبقة سائدة من الاحتفاض بالطبقة العاملة خاظعة لاستغلالها و سلطتها من خلال إغراق المشتغلين في رعب من مغبة فقدان مورد عيشهم إن هم طالبوا بأجور أعلى لأنه يوجد من هو مستعد للعمل بأجر أقل. و من جهة أخرى تشكل البطالة، إن هي تجاوزت حدود معينة (حسب كل مرحلة تاريخية)، تهديدا لاستقرار النظام بكليته (الثورة أو الفاشية). كما تعد البطالة تدميرا ممنهجا لقوى الانتاج (إلى جانب الحروب) مما يضيع على الانسانية موارد جد هامة. و لا تقل نتائج البطالة كارثية على المستوى الاجتماعي، حيث أصبح من المؤكد اليوم أن الجريمة و الأمراض العضوية والنفسية واستهلاك المخدرات ... تلعب البطالة بما يرافقاها من بؤس دوراً محوريا ومشجعاً فيها.

حلول للبطالة :

لا يرى الاقتصاديون من الطبقة البورجوازية حلاً لمشكلة البطالة إلا في اتجاهين أساسيين، الاتجاه الأول يرى للخروج من البطالة ضرورة:

أما الحل الجذري لقضية البطالة فيتطلب إعادة هيكلة الإقتصاد على قاعدة التملك الجماعي لوسائل الانتاج و تلبية الحاجيات الأساسية لكل البشر خارج نطاق الربح الرأسمالي، أي بناء مجتمع آخر لا يكون فيه نجاح الأقلية في العيش المترف على حساب عجز الأغلبية في الوصول إلى الحد الأدنى من العيش الكريم.

بلغت نسبة البطالة في مصر في عام 2006 حسب إحصائات وكالة المخابرات المركزية %10.30 ونتجت عن البطالة الكثير من الأمراض الأجتماعية مثل زيادة نسب الجرائم الجنسية حيث أن 90% من الجناة عاطلون عن العمل وزيادة الهجرة غير الشرعية إلى الدول الأوروبية وإقبال عدد الشباب المصري على الإنتحار للشعور باليأس بسبب البطالة، وعدم قدرتهم على إعالة أسرهم

وفي عام 2006 أعلن المركز المصري للحد من البطالة والدفاع عن حقوق الإنسان، عن تأسيس أول رابطة "للعاطلين" في مصر، في محاولة لتغيير حياتهم من خلال توفير فرص العمل لهم

ما هو العلاج :

- حفز قوى التنمية فى المجتمع .

- تنظيم عمليات العرض و الطلب على العمالة و تحقيق توازن بينهما مما يتطلب ضرورة زيادة الاستثمارات لاستيعاب اكبر عدد من العمالة .

- عودة دولة الرعاية الحماية و تقوية دور الدولة فى مراجعة الأجور و الأسعار و تأكيد سلطاتها فى إصدار القوانين التى تنظم عمل السوق و التدخل بقوة فى النشاط الاقتصادى .

- إرجاء برنامج الخصخصة و بيع الشركات .

- التنسيق مع النقابات و البنوك و إقامة مشروعات كبيرة لا تعتمد على التكنولوجيا و التوسع فى برنامج التدريب فى مجال المهن اليدوية و نصف الماهرة .

- إصلاح و إعادة هيكلة قطاع الغزل و النسيج و ضم استثمارات فى هذا القطاع لإنعاشه و الاستفادة منه للحد من مشكلة البطالة .

- بدون إصلاح حقيقى للتعليم لن نحسن أى صناعة كبيرة كانت أو صغيرة و لا بد من أن يتم إعادة النظر فى مكونات سياسة التعليم و التدريب .

- علينا البدء فى إيجاد حلول فى مجال الزراعة و المصايد و استصلاح الأراضى و الصناعات الغذائية و التكامل مع دول الجوار مثل السودان .

- يجب التوقف فورا عن سياسة مد الخدمة للموظفين و المستشارين بالحكومة لإتاحة المجال للشباب .

- تشجيع هجرة الأيدى العاملة مع عمل الاتفاقيات و وضع القوانين للحفاظ على حقوق العمال فى الخارج و نشر الوعى الثقافى لدى العمال مع الضمانات القانونية لضمان أموال المصريين بالخارج مع التمسك بدور الدولة فى أنها الراعى الحقيقى و الوحيد لسلامة و حقوق المصريين العاملين بالخارج .

مقدمة عن علم النفس

علم النفس هذا العلم الحديث الذي ما تنفك الدراسات فيه تكشف عن جوانب جديدة في المعارف التي تقع في نطاق الإنسان باعتباره موضوعه الأساسي، يفرض على الباحث فيه أو الدارس له متابعة دائبة لنتائج دراساته والوقوف على آخر معطياته، فلم يعد يكفي طالب هذا العلم حتى ولو كان يقصد إلى مجرد الوقوف إلى مقدماته ومداخله، أن يطلع على نظريات وموضوعات لا تمثل آخر ما هو معروف في حقله، ولا بد من أن توضع بين يديه مادة تقيم توازناً بين القيمة التاريخية للبحوث الكلاسيكية لقيمتها التاريخية والبحوث الحديثة. بمكتشفاتها النظرية وتطبيقاتها العملية. ومن هنا كان لا بد من إعادة طبع هذا الكتاب، طبعة تأخذ بالحسبان ما أخذته سالفتاه من أهداف.

يرى العلماء ان جذور علم النفس تأتي من موضوعين هي الفلسفة والفسيولوجيا ، وكلمة سيكولوجية (نفسية) تأتي من الكلمة اليوناينة Psyche=engl.soul والتي تعني الروح و Logos وتعني دراسة العلم ، وفي القرن السادس عشر ، كان معنى علم النفس هو العلم الذي يدرس الروح او الذي يدرس العقل ، وذلك للتمييز بين هذا الإصطلاح وعلم دراسة الجسد ، ومنذ بداية القرن الثامن عشر ، زاد إستعمال هذا الاصطلاح "سايكولوجية" وأصبح منتشرا.

يعتبر علم النفس من العلوم الحديثه التي تم إنشاؤها وإدخالها لأول مرة في المختبرات في عام 1879 على يد عالم النفس الألماني وليم فونت ، وقد استخدم فونت Vont طريقة الاستبطان أو التأمل الذاتي لحل المشكلات وكشف الخبرات الشعورية ، وأطلق فونت على هذا العلم باسم علم دراسة الخبرة الشعورية وبذلك يعتبر فونت هو المؤسس لعلم النفس وهو من قام باستقلالية هذا العلم عن الفلسفة. علم النفس ....

نشاة علم النفس

ترجع جذور علم النفس إلى الفلسفة وعلم الفسيولوجيا وعلم الطب .

من الفلاسفة الذين كانت لهم آراء في علم النفس :

أفلاطون :

- كان يرى أن النفس أو الروح والجسم منفصلان عن بعضهما .

- ورأى تقسيمهما بعد التقائهما لثلاثة أقسام :النفس العاقلة ومركزها الرأس ،والنفس الغضوبة ومركزها القلب ، والنفس الشهوانية ومركزها البطن .

- له أسطورة العربة التي لها جوادان هما النفس الغضوبة والشهوانية ،ولها سائق هو النفس العاقلة .

أرسطو :

- رأى أن النفس لا يمكن فصلها عن الجسم ،مثل تمثال الرخام ،فمادة الرخام هي الجسم مثلا ،والصورة هي النفس .وكذلك أيضا النفس أو العقل هي وظيفة الجسم ولا يمكن فصل العضو عن وظيفته .

- وكان أرسطو هو المؤسس الأول لعلم النفس .

ديكارت :

- رأى الفيلسوف الفرنسي ديكارت في القرن السابع عشر أن النفس والجسم منفصلين عن بعضهما .

- ورأى أن الفرق بين الإنسان والحيوان ،هو أن الأنسان يحركه العقل والحيوان تحركه الغرائز .

- وهو أول من وجه لدراسة الجهاز العصبي لدراسة السلوك على أساس فسيولوجي

- ورأى أنه يجب دراسة الشعور بدلا من دراسة العقل .

- وكان ديكارت هو المؤسس الثاني لعلم النفس

ميادين علم النفس :
الميادين النظرية :
1- علم النفس العام
- دراسة المبادئ العامة لسلوك الإنسان الراشد السوي ( أي يستخلص الأسس العامة للسلوك الإنساني ويصرف النظر عن الحالات الخاصة ) مثل دراسة الدوافع والانفعالات والذكاء ....
- يدرس أساليب البحث ووسائل جمع المعلومات في علم النفس وكذلك مدارس علم النفس التي حاولت تفسير السلوك .
- يجب على كل من يريد دراسة علم النفس أن يبدأ بدراسة علم النفس العام .
2- علم النفس الفسيولوجي :
- يدرس العلاقة بين الجهاز العصبي والسلوك .
- ترجع بداية علم النفس الفسيولوجي كعلم حديث للعالم "فونت" .
3- علم النفس الاجتماعي :
- يدرس العلاقة بين الفرد والجماعة مثل : التنشئة الاجتماعية – سيكولوجية الجماهير – تماسك الجماعة – الأدوار الاجتماعية - الدعاية – الرأي العام – الشائعات – القيادة.
- يدرس الانحرافات والأمراض الاجتماعية .
4- علم نفس النمو :
- يطلق عليه تسميات مختلفة مثل " علم النفس التكويني " ،"علم النفس الارتقائي " ، "سيكولوجية الطفولة والمراهقة .
5- علم النفس الفارق :
- دراسة الفروق بين الأفراد والجماعات والسلالات والجنسين : أسبابها – أثر كل من الوراثة والبيئة عليها .
6- علم نفس الحيوان :
- يهتم بدراسة الأسس السيكولوجية لسلوك الحيوان من أجل التوصل لنتائج تفيد في تفسير سلوك الإنسان .
7- علم النفس المقارن :
يقارن سلوك الإنسان بالحيوان ،وسلوك الطفل بسلوك الراشد ،وسلوك الإنسان البدائي بسلوك المتحضر ،وسلوك الشخص السوي بسلوك الشاذ .
الميادين التطبيقية :
1- علم النفس التربوي :

الشخصية :

يوجد عده تعريفات للشخصية فيمكن تعريفها بمجموعة من اساليب التفكير والتصرف واتخاذ القرارات و المشاعر المتأصلة و الفريدة لشخص معين. بدأت دراسة وتحليل شخصية الأنسان من اليونانيين القدماء وخاصة من أبوقراط Hippocrates الذي اعتقد ان الأختلاف في الشخصيات بين بني البشر يرجع إلى اختلاف نسب ماوصفه بالسوائل الحيوية الأربعة وهي حسب ابوقراط: الدم و المادة الصفراء من مرارة الأنسان و المادة السوداء من مرارة الأنسان و البلغم فعلى سبيل المثال اعتقد ابوقراط ان "الشخصية الدموية" يكون ذات صفات متفائلة ومحبة للمغامرة بعكس "الشخصية البلغمية" التي تكون غير مبالية.

بعد ابوقراط حاول أرسطو تحليل الأختلاف في الشخصيات فقام بتفسيرها حسب قسمات الوجه والبناء الجسمي للشخص فعلى سبيل المثال اعتقد أرسطو ان الأشخاص ذوي البنية النحيفة يكونون عادة خجولين. وقام داروين بتحليل الشخصية كعوامل غريزية اكتسبها المرء من غرائز البقاء الحيوانية أما سيغموند فرويد فقد حلل شخصية الأنسان بصراع بين الأنا السفلى والأنا والأنا العليا. في الوقت الحالي يعتبر عاملا الوراثة و المجتمع المحيط بالفرد من أهم العوامل التي تبني شخصية الأنسان.

و عرف مورتون الشخصية يأنها حاصل جمع كل الاستعدادات و الميول و الغرائز و الوافع و القوي البيولوجية الموروثة و كذلك الصفات و الميول المكتسبة

و يقول شن ان الشخصبة هي التنظيم الديناميكي في نفص الفرد لتلك الاستعدادات الجسمية و العقلية الثابتة نسبيا التي تعتبر مميزا خاصا للفرد و بمقتضاها يتحدد أسلوبة في التكيف من البيئة .

من كل ماسبق الحديث عنه عن علم النفس ونشاته وتاريخه وجذوره والحديث أيضاً عن مدارسه ومن اسسوا علم النفس واثروا فيه ومن ميادين علم النفس ومدى اتساع ميادينه لتشمل جميع جوانب الحياة التى نعيشها يتضح ان لعلم النفس اهمية واسعة فى الحياة التى نعيشها قد لا تقل اهمية عن باقى العلوم الهامة التى تحيا بها البشرية كالطب والهندسة وغيرها لذلك فعلم النفس يساعد كافة فئات وطبقات المجتمع على الدراسة والتحليل النفسى والقدرة على فهم وتحليل كل الامور مما يؤدى بدوره الى الاتجاهات السليمة فى كل التصرفات وفى ادارة جميع الشئون ، يساعدنا علم النفس على فهم شخصياتنا وعلى تنظيم جميع جوانب الحياة من هنا لا بد من تعميق دراسته والتاكيد على وجوده حياً فى جميع جوانب الحياة ، وعدم استغناء الانسان عن علم النفس ومجالاته المتعددة تضح جلياً من هذا البحث المتواضع عن علم النفس ..................

المــيـــاه

المــاء مركب كيميائي مكون من ذرتي هيدروجين وذرة من الأكسجين. ينتشر الماء على الأرض بأشكاله المختلفة، السائل و الصلب و الغازي . و الشكل السائل يكون شفاف بلا لون , و بلا طعم , و بلا رائحة . كما أن 70% من سطح الأرض مغطى بالماء، ويعتبر العلماء الماء أساس الحياة على أي كوكب. يسمى علميا أكسيد الهيدروجين .

تحولات الماء يوجد الماء على ثلاث حالات:

* الحالة الصلبة: يكون فيها الماء على شكل جليد أو ثلج أبيض اللون ناصع ، يوجد على هذه الحالة عندما تكون درجة حرارة الماء أقل من الصفر المئوي.

* الحالة السائلة: يكون فيها الماء سائلا بلا لون، وهي الحالة الأكثر شيوعا للماء. ويوجد الماء على صورته السائلة في درجات الحرارة ما بين الصفر المئوي، ودرجة الغليان، وهي 100 درجة مئوية.

* الحالة الغازية : يكون فيها الماء على شكل بخار، ويكون الماء بالحالة الغازية بدرجات حرارة مختلفة صيغته الجزيئية H2O .

خصائص الماء :

للماء عدة خصائص جعلت له قيمة كبيرة في الحياة، والصناعة، والزراعة، وغيرها من مجالات الحياة، ومنها: التغني بالماء و نعته بالخصال الحميدة لا يعفينا من أن نلم بخصائصه الفريدة الماء مركب كيميائي من عنصري الأوكسجين و الهيدروجين ذرة من الأوكسجين و ذرتين من الهيدروجين و تشكل الذرات مثلثا مجسما في رأسه ذرة الاوكسيجين بشحنة سالبة و في جانبي القاعدة ذرتا الهيدروجين بشحنة موجبة و بنيان الماء بهذه الصورة يجعل منه سائلا فريدا كما يصفه الكيميائيون على أساس انه يشذ عن السوائل الأخرى في الكثير من الخصائص من خصائص الماء

1. تميل جزيئات الماء إلى التصرف كمجموعات مترابطة و ليس كجزيئا منفصلة و مجموعات جزيئات الماء تكون محتوية على فراغات.

2. يتمدد الماء و ينكمش بالبرودة شأنه في ذلك شان كل السوائل والغازات والأجسام الصلبة الا ان الماء يسلك سلوكا شاذا تحت درجة 4 م حيث يتمدد بدلا من أن ينكمش و هذا يجعل ثقله النسبي أي كثافته يقل بدل من أن يزيد و بذلك يخف فيرتفع إلى الأعلى و عندما يتجمد في درجة الصفر المئوي يكون تجمده فقط على السطح بينما في الأسفل يكون الماء سائلا في درجة 4 م و في ذلك حماية كبيرة للأحياء التي تعيش في الماء

3. التعادل الحمضي :الماء سائل متعادل كيميائيا، إذ أن درجة الحموضة أو القاعدية فيه هي 7، وهذا يعني أنه لا يمكن اعتبار الماء مادة حمضية أو قاعدية، لأنه مادة متعادلة كيميائيا.

4. الإذابة :الماء مادة مذيبة، وهذا يعني أنه من الممكن إذابة الكثير من الأملاح والمواد في الماء. الماء الموجود في الطبيعة لا يوجد بشكل نقي 100% وذلك بسبب وجود الأملاح والغازات في الماء الموجود بالطبيعة. لكي تذوب مادة في الماء يجب أن تحتوي على أيونات حرة، أو أن تكون مادة متقطبة (لأن "المثل يذوب بالمثل" والماء مادة متقطبة لهذا السبب يعتبر الماء مذيب جيد للمواد).

5. التوصيل للكهرباء :الماء مادة موصلة سيئة للكهرباء، ولكن بما أن الماء مادة مذيبة، فعند إذابة الأملاح في الماء، أو إذابة مواد أخرى، يصبح الماء موصلا جيدا للكهرباء.

مصادر الماء :

مصادر الماء يوجد الماء في الطبيعة على ثلاث حالات فيزيائية:

* حالة سائلة: مياه البحار والأنهار والبحيرات و المياه الباطنية .

* حالة صلبة: كالثلوج والمسطحات الجليدية التي نراها خاصة في القطبين الشمالي والجنوبي وأعلى الجبال الشاهقة.

* حالة غازية: يوجد الماء على الحالة الغازية أي بخار الماء في الجو.

يتوزع الماء في الطبيعة إلى:

1. مياه سطحية:

وهذه المياه تتمثل في الأنهار والبحار والمحيطات والقطع الثلجية:

أ. مياه الأمطار:

هي أنقى أنواع المياه الطبيعية، حيث تنحل فيها أثناء سقوطها بعض الغازات المنتشرة في الجو كالأكسجين وثاني أكسيد الكربون ... وبعض المواد الصلبة العالقة في الجو. :ب. مياه الأنهار: تتكون مياه الأنهار أساسا من الأمطار، وتحتوي هذه المياه على عديد المواد الصلبة المنحلة فيها بسبب مرورها وانسيابها عبر أنواع التربة المختلفة.

ج. مياه الينابيع:

وتنقسم مياه الينابيع إلى نوعين: ينابيع صغيرة الحجم وينابيع كبيرة الحجم. :د.مياه المحيطات والبحار: وهي تمثل النسبة الكبيرة.

مياه جوفية: وهي المياه الموجودة في باطن الارض .

أنواع المياه :

* مياه فوارة:

وهو الشكل الذي تحتفظ فيه المياه بنفس معدلات ثاني أكسيد الكربون التي كانت عليها قبل المعالجة.

* مياه غنية بالفيتامينات:

وكما يتضح من الاسم يتم إضافة الفيتامينات لها حتى تصبح صحية أكثر.

* مياه الينابيع:

وهي مياه غير معالجة وتأتي من المياه الجوفية لكنها تتدفق على سطح الأرض وتحتوي (على الأقل) على 250 جزئ/مليون من المواد الصلبة القابلة للتحلل.

* مياه مطهرة:

وهي التي يتم تنقيتها بإحدى وسائل التنقية السابقة.

* مياه غنية بالأكسجين:

وتحفظ باحتوائها على نسبة من الأكسجين أكثر 40 مرة من الماء العادي.

* مياه معدنية طبيعية:

وهي التي تأتي من مصادر جوفية وتحتوي على معادن مثل الماغنسيوم والكالسيوم والصوديوم والحديد.

* مياه ذات نكهة:

نكهات طبيعية أو صناعية تضاف غالباً للمياه المعدنية.

* مياه مقطرة:

ويتم الحصول عليها بالتقطير لكنها تستخدم في المعامل الكيميائية من أجل التجارب وليس للشرب.

* مياه شبه قلوية أيونية:

وهي التي تستخدم فيها الكهرباء لفصل الجزيئات وشحنها. وفي عام 1966 قامت وزارة الصحة اليابانية باعتماد هذا النوع من المياه رسمياً للارتقاء بمستوى مياه الشرب الصحية.

* التعامل مع أنواع المياه المعبئة:

إذا تم الشرب منها وفتحها لا تتركها لفترة طويلة بدون استخدامها لأن البكتريا ستنشط فيها والتي يكون مصدرها من الفم والبيئة التي توجد من حولنا.

* زجاجة المياه وطريقة العناية بها هامة من غسيل غطائها باستمرار وغسيل الزجاجة نفسها بالماء الساخن والصابون عند إعادة ملئها.. مع تغييرها من فترة لأخرى.

* يمكنك إضافة بعض العناصر الصحية لكوب الماء الذي تشربه مثل شرائح الليمون أوأوراق النعناع الطازجة أو الزنجبيل المبشور.

* للتخلص من طعم الكلور عليك بصب الماء في إناء كبير وتركه لمدة ساعة تقريباً.

مقدمـــــه

الموضــــوع

ان البطالة هي ظاهرة اقتصادية بدأ ظهورها بشكل ملموس مع ازدهار الصناعة إذ لم يكن للبطالة معنى في المجتمعات الريفية التقليدية. طبقا لمنظمة العمل الدولية فإن العاطل هو كل قادر على العمل وراغب فيه، و يبحث عنه، و يقبله عند مستوى الأجر السائد، ولكن دون جدوى. من خلال هذا التعريف يتضح أنه ليس كل من لا يعمل عاطل فالتلاميذ و المعاقين والمسنين والمتقاعدين ومن فقد الأمل في العثور على عمل و أصحاب العمل المؤقت ومن هم في غنى عن العمل لا يتم أعتبارهم عاطلين عن العمل

.إن مشكلة البطالة تعد من أخطر المشاكل التي تهدد استقرار وتماسك المجتمع العربي ولكن نجد أن أسباب البطالة تختلف من مجتمع إلى مجتمع حتى إنها تختلف داخل المجتمع الواحد من منطقة الى أخرى فهناك أسباب اقتصادية وأخرى اجتماعية وأخرى سياسية ولكن كلاً منها يؤثر على المجتمع ويزيد من تفاقم مشكلة البطالة.

يمكن أن نشير إلى ثلاث أنواع رئيسة للبطالة وهي :

البطالة الدورية ( البنيوية ) والناتجة عن دورية النظام الرأسمالي المنتقلة دوما بين الانتعاش والتوسع الاقتصادي و بين الانكماش والأزمة الاقتصادية التي ينتج عنها وقف التوظيف والتنفيس عن الأزمة بتسريح العمال.
البطالة الاحتكاكية وهي ناتجة عن تنقل العمال ما بين الوظائف والقطاعات و المناطق أو نقص المعلومات فيما يخص فرص العمل المتوفرة.
البطالة المرتبطة بهيكلة الاقتصاد وهي ناتجة عن تغير في هيكل الطلب على المنتجات أو التقدم التكنولوجي، أو انتقال الصناعات إلى بلدان اخرى بحثا عن شروط استغلال أفضل ومن أجل ربح أعلى.

ويزيد من خطورة المشكلة :

أسباب البطالة

يمكن تلخيص اسباب البطالة فيما يلي:

تدخل الدولة في السير العادي لعمل السوق الحرة وخاصة فيما يخص تدخلها لضمان حد أدنى للأجور، إذ أن تخفيض الأجور والضرائب هما الكفيلان بتشجيع الاستثمار وبالتالي خلق الثروات و فرص العمل.
أشكال التعويض عن البطالة و قوانين العمل.
وايضاً هناك فقر شديد فى الفكر الاقتصادى الراهن لفهم المشكلة وسبل الخروج منها بل إن هناك تيار فكر ينادى بان المشكلة تخص ضحاياها و أن العاطلين عن العمل هم الذين فشلوا فى التكيف مع سوق العمل .
عزوف الرأسماليين عن الاستثمار إذا لم يؤدي الإنتاج إلى ربح كافي يلبي طموحاتهم.
التزايد السكاني.
التزايد المستمر في استعمال الآلات وأرتفاع الانتاجية مما يستدعي خفض مدة العمل وتسريح العمال.
بعد الأزمة الاقتصادية الكبرى التي ضربت النظام الرأسمالي في مطلع الثلاثينات (أزمة 1929) وأرتفاع عدد العاطلين عن العمل بشكل مهول (12 مليون عاطل في الولايات المتحدة – 6 ملايين في ألمانيا) أرجع بعض علماء الإقتصاد أسباب البطالة إلى أخطاء بعض الرأسماليين الذين لا ينفقون بشكل كافي على الاستثمار.
تفاقم آثار الثورة العلمية والتكنولوجية على العمالة حيث حلت الفنون الإنتاجية المكثفة لرأس المال محل العمل الإنساني في كثير من قطاعات الاقتصاد القومي ومن ثم انخفاض الطلب على عنصر العمل البشري.
انتقال عدد من الصناعات الموجودة بالبلاد الرأسمالية المتقدمة إلى الدول النامية من خلال الشركات الدولية النشاط للاستفادة من العمالة الرخيصة في البلاد مما أثر على أوضاع العمالة المحلية في هذه الصناعات في البلاد الرأسمالية المتقدمة.
لجوء الكثير من الحكومات الرأسمالية إلى انتهاج سياسات انكماشية فكان طبيعياً أن يتم تحجيم الإنفاق العام الجاري الاستثماري في مختلف المجالات. وكان من نتيجة هذه السياسات انخفاض الطلب على العمالة.
انسحاب القطاع العام من عملية التوظيف بينما كان فى الماضى يوفر واحدة من كل أربع فرص أصبح الآن يزيد حجم المشكلة بسبب اتجاهه لإحالة العمال إلى المعاش المبكر وتوقفه عن تعيين عماله جديدة .

رفع وتيرة النمو الاقتصادي بشكل يمكن من خلق مناصب الشغل ( في ظل الرأسمالية المعولمة يمكن تحقيق النمو دون خلق فرص الشغل)، و في الدول الصناعية لا يمكن الارتفاع عن نسبة 2.5 في المئة بسبب قيود العرض ( يتم تدمير النسيج الاقتصادي للعالم الثالث لحل أزمة المركز من خلال سياسات التقويم الهيكلي و المديونية التي من نتائجها تفكيك صناعات العالم الثالث و تحويله لمستهلك لمنتجات الدول الصناعية).
خفض تكلفة العمل أي تخفيض الأجور بشكل يخفض تكلفة الانتاج و يرفع القدرة على المنافسة و تحقيق الأرباح .
تغيير شروط سوق العمل يعني المطالبة بحذف الحد الأدنى للأجور، خفض تحملات التغطية الاجتماعية و الضرائب، وتقليص أو حذف التعويض عن البطالة تخفيض الأجور و سعات العمل ( المرونة في الأجور و سعات العمل (

استحالة تامين المورد الكافية للإنفاق على العاطلين دون الإضرار بأوضاع التطور الاقتصادى .
ترجع دور الدولة فى المجالين الاقتصادى و الاجتماعى الأفكار التى تعطى الأولوية لربحية رأس المال متجاهلة البعدين الاجتماعى والانسانى .
ترجع العنصر الإنسانى فى العمل بنسبة 35 % بسبب التكنولوجيا فأصبحت هناك وظائف فقط لأقلية ذات خبرة و كفاءة ومعرفة .
انهيار صناعات عريقة مثل صنعة الغزل والنسيج التى تستوعب 33 % من حجم العمالة .
تضارب السياسات النقدية والحوافز المقدمة للاستثمار يؤثر تأثيرا بالغا على الصادرات التى تدنت بشكل كبير ويقلل فرص فتح آفاق جديدة للإنتاج الذى يستوعب أعداد إضافية من العمالة .
اهتزاز الأداء الاقتصادى للدولة ما يبن الرواج والكساد لعدم القدرة على الشراء من المواطنين وتناقص القوة الشرائية تعنى هبوط الإنتاج و تزايد المخزون و انخفاض الطلب على العمالة .
تفاهم ظاهرة الدين الخارجى و نمو فاحش فى أعباء خدمة الدين و ارتفاع التضخم و انسداد فرص العمل و الوقوع فى براثن الدولة المانحة التى أوصت بسياسات انكماشية ( زيادة سعر الفائدة – تحرير الجنيه – إلغاء الدعم – بيع الشركات – زيادة أسعار الطاقة و الخدمات – زيادة الضرائب غير المباشرة – تسريح العمالة ) .
ضعف سيطرة الحكومة على القرار الاقتصادى بسبب التدخل القوى للدول المانحة و تداعيات العولمة و الجات و تكتل الدول الصناعية العالمية فى مواجهة الدول .

نتائج البطالة :

حلول للبطالة :

أما الحل الجذري لقضية البطالة فيتطلب إعادة هيكلة الإقتصاد على قاعدة التملك الجماعي لوسائل الانتاج و تلبية الحاجيات الأساسية لكل البشر خارج نطاق الربح الرأسمالي، أي بناء مجتمع آخر لا يكون فيه نجاح الأقلية في العيش المترف على حساب عجز الأغلبية في الوصول إلى الحد الأدنى من العيش الكريم.

بلغت نسبة البطالة في مصر في عام 2006 حسب إحصائات وكالة المخابرات المركزية %10.30 ونتجت عن البطالة الكثير من الأمراض الأجتماعية مثل زيادة نسب الجرائم الجنسية حيث أن 90% من الجناة عاطلون عن العمل وزيادة الهجرة غير الشرعية إلى الدول الأوروبية وإقبال عدد الشباب المصري على الإنتحار للشعور باليأس بسبب البطالة، وعدم قدرتهم على إعالة أسرهم

وفي عام 2006 أعلن المركز المصري للحد من البطالة والدفاع عن حقوق الإنسان، عن تأسيس أول رابطة "للعاطلين" في مصر، في محاولة لتغيير حياتهم من خلال توفير فرص العمل لهم

ما هو العلاج :

- حفز قوى التنمية فى المجتمع .

- إرجاء برنامج الخصخصة و بيع الشركات .

- يجب التوقف فورا عن سياسة مد الخدمة للموظفين و المستشارين بالحكومة لإتاحة المجال للشباب .

التلوث البيئى

المقدمة

الملوثات هي مركبات عضوية أساسها عنصر الكربون قد تكون من أصل طبيعي أو تكوين صناعي, ولها خصائص طبيعية وكيميائية تتضمن مقاومة التحلل في البيئة (ثابتة), السمية, التراكم إحيائيا, والإنتقال عن طريق الهواء والماء والأنواع المهاجرة عبر الحدود وتستقر بعيدا عن مكان إطلاقها حيث تتجمع في النظم الايكولوجية والأرضية والمائية. ولها تأثير خطر على صحة الإنسان و البيئة.

لذا فقد تم الاهتمام بهذه الملوثات على المستوى العالمي منذ (مايو 1995م) إلى أن تم إصدار الاتفاقية الخاصة بالملوثات العضوية الثابتة (POPs) تحت اسم "اتفاقية استكهولم للملوثات العضوية الثابتة" وذلك في (مايو 2001م ). و نظراً لحرص مصر على حماية الصحة العامة و البيئة فقد تم حظر استيراد واستخدام كافة المواد المدرجة بالاتفاقية منذ عام 1996 م مما كان له أكبر الأثر في توقيع مصر على الاتفاقية في (17/5/2002م) وكذلك التصديق عليها بتاريخ (2/5/2003م)، كما أن الاتفاقية دخلت حيز النفاذ في 17/5/2004 .

ولزيادة قدرات الدول النامية لمنع/أو الحد من مصادر الملوثات العضوية الثابتة كخطوة ضرورية وحاسمة للحد من التأثيرات السالبة على الصحة العامة والبيئة، فقد بادر مرفق البيئة العالمي (GEF) بإدراج اتفاقية الملوثات العضوية الثابتة من ضمن آليته المالية لدعم إعداد خطط التنفيذ الوطنية.

أنواع التلوث ومصادره

التلوث البحرى :-

يُعد التلوث البحري أحد التأثيرات الهامة للنشاط البشري على المحيطات. وهو لا يقتصر على تلوث نفطي ناجم عن حوادث أو عمليات تنظيف صهاريج النفط أو تفريغها بطريقة غير قانونية. بالرغم من فظاعة منظر البقع النفطية وتأثيرها على البيئة البحرية، إلا أن إجمالي كميات النفط التي تشكل البقع ضئيلة مقارنة للملوثات الواردة من مصادر أخرى، وعلى الأخص مياه الصرف الصحي والنفايات الصلبة والصناعية، والمواد المتسربة من مكبات النفايات، ومياه الانسياب السطحي المدني والصناعي، والحوادث، وبقع النفط، والتفجيرات، وعمليات التخلص من النفايات في البحار، وإنتاج النفط، والتعدين، ومبيدات الحشرات والمبيدات الزراعية، وموارد الحرارة المستهلكة، ونفايات المواد المشعة.

وتشير التقديرات إلى أن مصادر التلوث من اليابسة مسئولة عن نحو 44% من الملوثات التي تنتهي في البحر بينما تساهم المدخلات (التأثيرات) الجوية بنسبة تقدر بـ 33% من الملوثات. في المقابل يتحمل النقل البحري مسؤولية حوالي 12% من التلوث.

البقع الميتة الزاحفة:

تتفاوت تأثيرات التلوث كثيرا فقد يسفر تلوث المواد الغذائية الناشئ من قاذورات المجاري والزراعة عن ظهور "كتلاً" من الطحالب القبيحة التي قد تكون خطيرة في المياه الساحلية. وعندما تنفق هذه "الكتل" وتتحلل، تستهلك كامل الأكسجين الموجود في المياه. وادت هذه الظاهرة في بعض المناطق إلى ظهور "بقع الموت الزاحفة" حيث تنخفض نسبة الأكسجين في المياه إلى مستويات يستحيل معها استمرار الحياة البحرية. كما يسهم التلوث الصناعي في ظهور هذه البقع حيث تستهلك المواد المرمية في المياه الأكسجين عند تحللها.

الانشطارات النووية الضعيفة

تقف عدة مصادر وراء التلوث الإشعاعي في البحر. فتجارب الأسلحة النووية ساهمت تاريخيا بذلك. كما تؤدي عمليات التشغيل العادية لمحطات الطاقة النووية الى تلويث البحر. ولكن الحيز الأكبر من التلوث المشع في المحيطات ينتج من مصانع معالجة الوقود النووي كمصنعي "لا هاغ" في فرنسا و"سيلافيلد" في بريطانيا. وأدت هذه النفايات إلى انتشار التلوث المشع في مناطق شاسعة تقطنها مختلف الأنواع البحرية، حيث أن المواد المشعة التي يتم البحث عنها لإعادة معالجتها يمكن اكتشافها في الطحالب البحرية الممتدة إلى "ساحل غرينلاند الغربي" وبطول ساحل النرويج.

التعدين

يؤدي التلوث المعدني الناجم من التنقيب عن المعادن وانتاجها وصناعات معالجتها إلى الأضرار بالكائنات البحرية وقد يصبح بعضها غير صالح للاستهلاك البشري. وقد تساهم النشاطات البشرية بصورة ضخمة في مضاعفة التلوث. بالتالي، تبلغ كمية الزئبق التي تضخها الأنشطة الزراعية في البيئة أربعة أضعاف او أكثر كمية الزئبق المنتجة طبيعيا كالعوامل الجوية وعوامل التعرية.

النفط

يشكل التلوث النفطي احد أكثر أشكال التلوث تكرارا ووضوحا وغالبا ما ينجم عن حوادث ناقلات النفط أو تفريغ مياه تنظيفها في البحر. وإضافة إلى تأثيرات هذا التلوث الفادحة والبارزة على المدى القصير إلا انه قد يؤدي مشاكل خطيرة على المدى الطويل. ففي حال الناقلة "اكسون فالديز" التي جنحت إلى اليابسة في ألاسكا عام 1989، ما زالت آثار التلوث النفطي الذي وقع منذ 15 عاما واضحة. الأمر سيان في إطار حادثة "برستيج" التي غرقت مقابل الساحل الاسباني أواخر العام 2002 وأسفرت عن خسائر اقتصادية فادحة، حيث أنها لوثت اكثر من 100 شاطئ في فرنسا واسبانيا وضربت نشاطات صيد الأسماك المحلية.

تشير التقديرات إلى أن عدد سكان العالم سيرتفع مع حلول العام 2050 إلى 12 مليار نسمة، سيسكن نحو 60% منهم في رقعة ساحلية من 60 كلم. ومن شأن الأنشطة الزراعية والصناعية اللازمة لخدمة هذا العدد من السكان أن تزيد من الضغوط الهائلة أصلا على المناطق الساحلية الخصبة.

المعادن الثقيلة

قد تنطوي المخلفات الكيميائية الصناعية في المحيطات على عدد هائل من المواد المختلفة. فمن أصل 63 ألف من الكيمياويات المعروفة في العالم، يشكل ثلاثة آلاف نوع 90% من إجمالي الإنتاج. وتطرح في الأسواق سنويا ما قد يصل إلى ألف نوع جديد من المنتجات الكيميائية.

من بين كل هذه المنتجات الكيماوية يندرج نحو 4500 منتج كيماوي تحت فئة التصنيف الأكثر خطورة، وتعرف باسم "الملوثات العضوية الدائمة". هذه الملوثات تقاوم التحلل ولديها القدرة على التراكم في الأنسجة الحية فتؤدي إلى خلل هرموني يسبب مشاكل تناسلية وسرطانية ويضرب جهاز المناعة ويعيق نمو الأطفال. هذه الملوثات العضوية قادرة على الانتقال في الهواء إلى مسافات بعيدة عن مصدر انبعاثها. نتيجة لذلك، ، فإن شعب الإسكيمو الذي يعيش في القطب الشمالي على مسافة شاسعة من مصادر هذه الملوثات يشكل احد أكثر الشعوب معاناة من التلوث بتلك المواد، نظرا إلى أنهم يعتمدون بشكل أساسي في تغذيتهم على الحيوانات البحرية الدسمة كالأسماك والفقمة.

تشتمل "الملوثات العضوية الدائمة" على مركبات الديوكسين شديدة السمية ومواد بي سي بي إضافة إلى مجموعة من مبيدات الحشرات مثل دي دي تي ومادة "ديالدرين". ويعتقد أن هذه الكيميائية مسئولة عن القصور التناسلي لدى بعض مجموعات الدببة القطبية.

كان من الضرورة بمكان إشراك الجهات المعنية التي سيتم التعاون معها خلال العمل بخطة التنفيذ الوطنية الخاصة باتفاقية إستكهولم والمعنية بالملوثات العضوية الثابتة، وهم كآلاتي :

1- وزارة الدولة لشئون البيئة.
2- وزارة الزراعة.
3- وزارة التجارة الخارجية.
4- وزارة الصناعة و التنمية التكنولوجية.
5- وزارة الصحة والسكان.
6- وزارة التخطيط.
7- وزارة المالية.

بالإضافة إلى المنظمات غير الحكومية مثل :

8- الجمعيات الأهلية.
9- المنظمات البيئية ومجموعات الصحة و السلامة.
10- المؤسسات الأكاديمية البحثية.
11- ممثلين باقي شرائح المجتمع بما في ذلك المجموعات النسائية.
12- القطاع الخاص وآخرين.

إنقاذ العالم من التلوث

شهد الناس قبل أربعة أجيال مطلع القرن العشرين ، أي قبل اختراع الآلاف من المواد الكيميائية الاصطناعية وقبل استخدامها على نطاق واسع في مجالي الزراعة والصناعة. أما نحن الذين نعيش في أوائل القرن الحادي والعشرين ، فإننا نسكن عالما يحتوى على مواد يعود اكتشاف البعض منها إلي عقود ، أي إلى العشرينات ، والتي استخدمت أكثر وأكثر في الأربعينات والخمسينات ، أما الآن ، فأننا نجدها في كل مكان ... حتى في أنسجة كل إنسان على وجه الأرض.
وهذا تطور مخيف ، حيث أن هناك كميات ضئيلة جدا داخل جسمك - بل واكثر من ذلك وفقا لظروفك ومدى تعرضك لها - لعدة مئات من المواد الكيميائية التي هي من صنيع البشر. والعديد منها غير مضرة ( أو على الأقل هذا ما يعتقد بشأنها حتى الآن ). أما غيرها ، فقد تتسبب في أحداث السرطان أو إلحاق الضرر بالأجهزة العصبية والتكاثر والمناعة أو إصابة أكباد الحيوانات. وتتزايد الأدلة العلمية التي تؤكد على صحة الشكوك القديمة بشان إحداث الإصابات نفسها في الإنسان.
وخلال السنوات الخمسين الماضية ، كنا جميعا مشاركين غير متعمدين في تجربة كيميائية عالمية النطاق وغير مضبطة تتضمن المحيطات والهواء والتربة والنباتات والحيوانات والإنسان. فالثورة الكيميائية قد أسهمت بالتأكيد إسهاما كبيرا في تحقيق الرفاهية للإنسان. إذ أدت المواد الكيميائية إلي زيادة الحصاد الزراعي من خلال القضاء على آفات المحاصيل وجعلت من توفير مجموعة غير متناهية من المنتجات المفيدة أمرا ممكنا. ولكن بمجرد إطلاق بعض المواد الكيميائية في المحيط الخارجي ، فإنها تتسبب في ردود فعل سامة ، تلازم البيئة لسنوات ، وتنتقل عبر آلاف الكيلومترات من محل استخدامها ، وتهدد الصحة على المدى البعيد ، كما أن لها عواقب ايكولوجية لم تكن متوقعة ولا تكن مقصودة أبدا.

من اخطر أنواع التلوث (الملوثات العضوية):-
الالدرين - مبيد للآفات يضاف إلى التربة لقتل الأرض ، والجراد والديدان التي تصيب جذور الذرة ، وغيرها من آفات الحشرات.
الكلوردان - يستخدم بكثرة لمكافحة الأرض وكمبيد لنطاق واسع من الحشرات التي تصيب مجموعة من المحاصيل الزراعية.
الـ "دى دى تى" - لعل الـ " دى دى تى" من أكثر الملوثات العضوية الثابتة شهرة ، حيث تم استخدامه على نطاق واسع خلال الحرب العالمية الثانية لحماية الجنود والمدنيين من الملاريا ، والتيفوس وغيرها من الأمراض التي تنتشر عن طريق الحشرات. وما يزال الـ " دى دى تى" يستخدم ضد البعوض في عدة بلدان لمكافحة

الملاريا.
الديلدرين - يستخدم الديلدرين أساسا لمكافحة الأرض والآفات المضرة بالمنسوجات كما استخدم أيضا لمكافحة الأمراض التي تنقلها الحشرات والحشرات القاطنة في التربة الزراعية.
الديوكسينات - تنتج هذه المواد الكيميائية بشكل عرضي غير مقصود بسبب الاحتراق غير الكامل ، وكذلك خلال تصنيع بعض مبيدات الآفات وغيرها من المواد الكيميائية ، فضلا عن ذلك فانه يمكن لبعض العمليات المعنية بإعادة استخدام المعادن وتبييض عجينه الورق أن تؤدى إلي إطلاق الديوكسينات. كما تم اكتشاف الديوكسينات في انبعاثات السيارات ودخان التبغ ودخان الحطب والفحم.
الاندرين - يرش مبيد الحشرات هذا على أوراق المحاصيل كالقطن والحبوب ، ويستخدم أيضا لمكافحة الجرذان وفئران الحقول وغيرها من القوارض.
الفورانات - تنتج هذه المركبات بشكل غير مقصود من العمليات نفسها التي تطلق الديكوكسينات ، ونجدها أيضا في المخاليط التجارية من ثانى الفنيل المتعدد الكورة.
سباعى الكلور - يستخدم سباعى الكلور بالدرجة الأولى لقتل الحشرات في التربة والأرض ولكنه استخدم أيضا على نطاق أوسع لتل الحشرات المضرة بالقطن ، والجراد وآفات المحاصيل الأخرى وكذلك البعوض الناقل للملاريا.
سداسي كلور البنزين - يؤدى سداسي كلور البنزين إلي قتل الفطريات التي تضر بالمحاصيل الغذائية. ويتم إطلاقه كمنتج ثانوي خلال تصنيع بعض المواد الكيميائية وكنتيجة للعمليات التي تؤدى إلي إنتاج الديوكسينات والفورانات.
الميركس - يستخدم مبيد الحشرات هذا أساسا لمكافحة النمل الناري وأنواع أخرى من النمل والأرض. كما تم استخدامه كمثبط للحرائق في مواد البلاستيك والمطاط وفى السلع الكهربائية.
ثنائى الفنيل المتعدد الكلورة - تستخدم هذه المركبات في الصناعة كسوائل لتبادل الحرارة ، وفى المحولات والمكثفات الكهربائية ، وكمواد مضافة في الأصباغ وفى ورق الاستنساخ غير الحاوي على الكربون وفى المواد المانعة للتسرب ومواد البلاستيك.
التوكسافين - يرش مبيد الحشرات هذا ، والمسمى أيضا بالكامفكلور ، على القطن وحبوب النباتات الحبية والفواكه والبندق والخضراوات. وقد استخدم أيضا للقضاء على القراد والسوس في المواشي.
وهناك بالأخص صنف من المواد المسماة بالملوثات العضوية الثابتة التي أدت إلى زيادة المخاوف بشأنها فكثير من الملوثات العضوية الثابتة تشكل تهديدات كبيرة للصحة والبيئة بحيث أن حكومات العالم التقت في السويد بتاريخ 22 أيار / مايو عام 2001 واعتمدت معاهدة دولية ترمى إلى تقييد إنتاجها واستخدامها و إطلاقها وتخزينها ومن ثم التخلص منها في نهاية المطاف.
ويعد إبرام المعاهدة ، المسماة اتفاقية استكهولم بشان الملوثات العضوية الثابتة ، إنجازا أساسيا. فهي تبدأ منذ البداية باستهداف 12 مادة سامة بالأخص من الملوثات العضوية الثابتة للحد منها ومن ثم التخلص منها أخيرا .
والاهم من ذلك ، هو إنها تضع نظاما للتصدي لمواد كيميائية إضافية تم تحديدها بأنها خطرة بشكل لا يمكن معه قبول هذه المواد. وهى تقر بالحاجة أحيانا لبذل جهد خاص للتخلص التدريجي من بعض المواد الكيميائية المتعلقة ببعض الاستخدامات وتسعى لضمان بذل مثل هذا الجهد. كما أنها ترشد الموارد لأغراض التخلص من المخزونات ومستودعات النفايات الخاصة بالملوثات العضوية الثابتة الموجودة حاليا والتي توسخ المناظر الطبيعية في العالم. و أخيرا تشير الاتفاقية إلي طريقة تحقيق مستقبل خال من الملوثات العضوية الثابتة الخطرة وتوعد بتغيير طريقة

الخاتمـــــة

لا شك أن التلوث له من المخاطر الجسيمة ما هو أخطر وأشد على الإنسان والحياة اليومية بوجه عام حيث نرى كل يوم المخلفات التى تلقى فى الترع والمصارف وكذلك قمائن الطوب اللبن التى تنتج فى الأرياف وما تسببه من تلوث الهواء بأول أكسيد الكربون وكذلك عوادم السيارات على الطرق السريعة ونفير القطارات التى تطلق يومياً وتسمع على مدى عشرات الكيلو مترات .

يجب أن نهتم ونقوم سلوكياتنا وتصرفاتنا اليومية حيث هى أساس العمل الناجح والقويم الذى يثرى الحياة اليومية وينقى الهواء والماء من كل يد عابثة ترنو إلى تلوث الحياة اليومية للإنسان .

الفضائيات وأثرها على الأخلاقيات

مقدمـه

في خضم التغيرات والمستجدات التي تدعم مشاهدة التلفاز ومتابعة الأحداث وارتفاع شعبيته بين مختلف الفئات البشرية وتزايد أعداد الفضائيات وظهور نسخ لقنوات عالمية باللغة العربية علاوة على البرامج المستنسخة من تلك القنوات ، هناك برامج بلا هدف وأخرى تهدف إلى الإفساد ومخاطبة الغرائز والمخاطبة بلغة رخيصة جداً، وغسل الأدمغة تدريجياً بعد زعزعة المبادئ والقيم والأخلاق الحميدة، الفضاء من حولنا هل سيملأ الأوقات؟ في هذا العصر نعم ولكن بماذا سيمثلها؟

تأثير القنوات الفضائية على السلوك الاجتماعي
لاشك أن هذا العصر عصر احتل التلفزيون فيه مساحة كبيرة في أذهان الناس واهتماماتهم، وأيضاً القنوات بشكل عام والنظرة العامة تميل الى الربح والنظرة التجارية بكثرة، ولذلك لاشك ان منها ما يغلب عليه الجانب السلبي ومنها ما يختلط فيه الجانب السلبي بالجانب الايجابي، والقليل منها يركز على الجانب الجاد الايجابي ويمكن تقسيمها الى ثلاثة أقسام:
القسم الأول: يركز على الجانب الجاد الايجابي وهو قليل وللأسف يفقد طريقة عرضه التميز والجاذبية من قبل الجمهور مثل البرامج الثقافية والتعليمية التي في اغلب الأحيان تطرح بطريقة جافة غير مشوقة.
القسم الثاني: يركز على السلبيات وله نصاب كبير ويؤثر على التربية وعلى ثقافة المجتمع وقد يشرخ في هويته إذا لم يحجم وتفرض ضوابط عليه مثل البرامج المترجمة غير الهادفة وبعض البرامج التي تهدف لغزو فكري ثقافي.
القسم الثالث: يمزج السلبي بالايجابي وهذا الأخطر لأن بعض شرائح المجتمع غير محصن ويختلط عليه الأمر وقد يظن السلبي ايجابيا على سبيل المثال، البرنامج الرمضاني (طاش ما طاش) نجده يصور بعض شخصيات مناطق المملكة بصورة هزلية سلبية غير واقعية (فؤاد، أبو علي) وأيضاً عند انتقاده لرجال فكر معين لا يذكر الايجابيات مثل ذكرهم للسلبيات، لماذا النقد جارح ومن زاوية ضيقة ، ولا يركز على النقد البناء للمجتمع، لماذا الانجراف خلف العاطفة الشخصية وكأنه أمر شخصي بدل من ان يكون الطرح موضوعيا؟ وايضاً عندما يصور الرجل السعودي في الخارج كرجل متخلف غير قادر على التعاطي مع كل جديد وعنصر منحرف أخلاقياً أو الرجل الملتزم دينياً عنصر ارهابي، مع العلم بأننا نسعى للتوضيح للعالم بأننا شعب سلمي قادر على الحوار والتعايش مع الشعوب الأخرى بأمن وسلام، وحب ووئام، ويأتي من أبناء جلدتنا لترسيخ واثبات بأدلة مزورة بأننا إرهابيون؟ ويطرح بشكل شامل غير موجه، أليس هذا إجحافا في حق الوطن والمواطن؟ ألا يعتبر خطابا سلبيا ظالما منحرفا عن الواقعية.
وإذا كان الجمهور معرضا لكل هذه القنوات بدون تمييز فهي تترك آثارا تعتمد وتختلف بحسب السن والمستوى التعليمي، وكل ما كان الجمهور متلقياً دون ان يكون لديه عملية فرز ماذا يأخذ وماذا يترك لا شك انها تترك آثارها فيما بعد على سلوكه وعلى ذوقه العام، والقائمون على هذه القنوات يريدون هدفاً ما وليست مجرد قنوات تشتغل لكنها تعمل لهدف إما أن يكون الربح أو لغرض تدميري لأخلاق الناس والأعراف وتفكيك البناء الاجتماعي وإغراء المراهقين والمراهقات على التمرد على الأسر وإغراقهم بتحطيم القواعد الأخلاقية، وهذا الأمر بدأ في الغرب وقلدته بعض القنوات العربية وراحت تشجع على الانفلات الاخلاقي والتسيب والانحراف وهذه الأهداف واضحة للعيان ولا تحتاج الى تصريح بذلك.

من منا يغفل دور وسائل الإعلام في توجيه الرأي العام و دوره في تغيير وتزوير الحقائق و تزين كل قبيح و تقبيح كل جميل فقضية الإعلام و الثقافة تعد من أشد المؤثرات في حياتنا الفردية و الاجتماعية و أصبحت أدوات الإعلام هي التي تصنع العقول و الميول و الأذواق والاتجاهات النفسية و الفكرية عند جماهير الناس .
فمستقبل أي أمة يتأثر كثيراً بحاضر أطفالها لذلك لابد لخير أمة أخرجت للناس من أن تربي أبناءها على الأخلاق و القيم و تعودهم الأدب الحسن و الفضائل حتى يصبحوا لبنات صالحة في مجتمعهم ، والإعلام و خاصة الفضائيات من أهم الوسائل التي تساعد في غرس القيم و نشر الفضائل في المجتمع و بخاصة في نفوس الأطفال ، فإذا استطعنا تطويعها لتحقق لنا هذه الأهداف تجاه أطفالنا فإننا بذلك نكون قد استخدمنا الأثر الكبير في تكوين الطفل و تثقيفه و تنشئته على القيم الفاضلة التي تدفعه إلى السلوك الإيحابي و التصرف السليم .
وأهمية برامج الأطفال من حيث أنها في مقدمة المواد التي يشاهدها الأطفال في القنوات الفضائية و ما لها من اثر كبير في تشكيل شخصيتهم و غرس القيم في نفوسهم ، و كذلك عدم كفاية الإيجابية التي تقدمها برامج الأطفال
فكل ما يعرض في القنوات الفضائية خاص بالأطفال أفلام مدبلجة لا يمت إلى هوية و خصوصيات الأمة الثقافية بشي و لها سلبيات كثيرة منها ما يلي :
أغلب ما يعرض يناقض عقيدة المسلم صراحة. فقد رأيت بأم عيني أحد الأفلام المدبلجة و في بدايته دق ناقوس الكنيسة و الناس ذاهبون إليها و إن كان أبناء المسلمين قد فطروا على التوحيد و تعلموه و نشأوا عليه فما يعرض في هذه الأفلام يهدم ذلك و يبني في أذهانهم صور الإلحاد .
فالرياح تتصارع مع الشمس و تظهر كل واحدة منهما قدرتها على التصرف في هذا الكون و أهله و كأنما المتصرف في هذا الكون هذه المظاهر الطبيعية و لا قدرة لله الواحد الأحد سبحانه .
خطورة المضمون الأجنبي على الأطفال إذ يركز على جوانب العنف و الجريمة و يروج لجوانب الانحلال الخلقي و يبرز ضعف الروابط الأسرية و انفصال الأبناء عن الآباء
التأثير السلبي لكل ما يعرض على القنوات الفضائية من فجور و فسوق واختلاط وتشجيع الرذيلة و الفحش من خلال ما يعرض في القنوات الفضائية من أغاني ماجنة و قصص غرامية تتنافي مع روح ديننا الحنيف و مع الأخلاق الإسلامية ..
و السؤال الذي يطرح نفسه الآن ما هو دور رب الأسرة في حماية أطفاله من الفضائيات هل يغلق التلفاز نهائيا أم أن هناك بدائل و ما هي تلك البدائل التي ستحمي أولاده من هذه الفضائيات أرجو من الجميع المشاركة في الموضوع حتى تعم الفائدة و نحمي أولادنا من هذه الفضائيات

التربية ومواجهة أخطار القنوات الفضائية
" إن ما لم تستطع فرنسا أن تحققه بقوة السلاح فى الجزائر وشمال أفريقيا سوف تحققه بالثقافة بعد ذلك" قائل هذه العبارة وزير فرنسى بعد أن انسحبت قوات بلاده من الجزائر عقب احتلال دام زاد على مائة عام .
والمؤكد أن الوزير الفرنسى كان جادا فيما يقول وان فرنسا حاولت – ولم تزل تحاول – أن تجعل من الجزائر وغيرها من المستعمرات الفرنسية السابقة "

والمؤكد أيضا أن فرنسا لا تقف وحدها فى هذا الميدان بل أن الولايات المتحدة تقف على قمة هذه الدول التى تسعى لمد نفوذها الفكرى والثقافى إلى كل بقاع الأرض ولعل كتاب الحرب الباردة الثقافية " من الذى دفع للزمار " يوضح لنا - فيما يشبه الخيال – السعى الدءوب من جانب الـ CIA
المخابرات المركزية الأمريكية إلى السيطرة على عقول البشر من خلال شبكة واسعة من الصحف والمجلات والهيئات والمؤسسات الثقافية والإعلامية (مثل الفضائيات) مستعينة فى ذلك بأكبر الكتاب والموهوبين فى مجال العمل الإعلامى فى تحقيق هذا الهدف .

وقد ساعد التطور المذهل فى وسائل الأعلام والاتصال يصاحبه تطور مواز فى مجالات الدعاية على سهولة الوصول إلى كل شعوب الأرض أينما كانت سواء كان الفرد نائما فى مخدعه أو حتى محاربا على جبهة القتال والسعى إلى مد النفوذ الفكرى والثقافى توطئة لتوسيع الهيمنة السياسية والاقتصادية والعسكرية لتشمل كل البقاع المعمورة وصارت الدول والأفراد تنفق المليارات من اجل الفوز فى معركة " الاستيلاء على عقول البشر " لإحكام السيطرة على مقدرات الشعوب وإخضاعها .

ويقف الفرد العادى ضعيفا أمام جبروت وسطوة تلك الوسائل لا يستطيع – إلا من رحم ربى – أن يصمد أو يقاوم ما تحمله هذه الوسائل من أفكار وسموم تبغى أن تجعله لقمة سائغة فى عالم لم يعد يعترف إلا بالقوى المقاوم صاحب القوة المعنوية التى تحميه من هذا الهجوم الشرس على عقله ودينه ومبادئه وحضارته ودينه وقوة مادية تحمى أرضه وعرضه ومصالحه من هجوم محتمل
وتمثل القنوات التليفزيونية الفضائية رأس الحربة فى هذا الهجوم إذ إنها لا تتطلب جهدا أو عناء يذكر فى التعرض لها فهى إلى حد ما رخيصة الثمن علاوة على انتشارها فى المؤسسات الحكومية والأماكن العامة فى معظم الدول0
ويستطيع الإنسان مشاهدة المئات من القنوات الفضائية على مختلف الأقمار الصناعية التى لا يوجد من بينها
سوى قمرين عربيين للاتصالات " عرب سات ونايل سات "
بجانب العديد من الأقمار الأجنبية والتى يتراوح مضمونها بين الدينى الذى يبغى إصلاح الإنسان وبث الخير والتقوى – أو تحويله إلى دين آخر فى نفسه وقنوات الفحش التى تبغى هدمه وتحويله إلى سائمة لا هم لها إلا قضاء حاجتها بأية صورة وكيفما كان الأمر .
وتزداد خطورة الأمر إذا علمنا إن الإنسان العربى والمسلم هو الضحية الكبرى لهذه القنوات حيث أن معظمها بيد غير المسلمين وحتى تلك الموجودة بايدى مسلمين فهى قلما تلتزم بتعاليم الإسلام ومبادئه الخالدة ففى مجال مصادر الأخبار والتى تعتمد هذه القنوات عليها فى إذاعة أخبارها تحتكر أربع وكالات أنباء أجنبية حوالى 90 % من فيض الأنباء التى تذاع يوميا ولو أردنا الدقة فانه من بين 35 مليون كلمة تبث يوميا عبر وكالات الأنباء يتم بث 32 مليون كلمة عبر هذه الوكالات الأربع وهى
اسوشيتدبرس 17.5 مليون كلمة
ويونايتدبرس 11 مليون كلمة وفرانس برس 3.5 مليون كلمة
ورويتر 1.5 مليون كلمة علما بأن ثلاثة أرباع الأنباء التى تذاع فى العالم الثالث تأتى عبر هذه الوكالات الأربع
وفى مجال البث الفضائى فانه طبقا للإحصائيات التى أوردتها اليونسكو فإن مصر وسوريا تستورد ثلث اجمالى بثها التليفزيونى الفضائى فى حين تستورد الجزائر ولبنان 70% من اجمالى ما يستورد من الغرب الامريكى

وهكذا يتم إحكام الحصار حول المواطن العربى والمسلم فيتم وضعه بين خيارين كلاهما مر . ومن السذاجة بمكان أن نعتقد أن هذه القنوات ليس لها أهداف سياسية أو ثقافية أو فكرية معادية بل إن مقولة الوزير الفرنسى التى تتصدر الموضوع هى الهدف الذى تسعى من ورائه معظم القنوات الأجنبية ولعل
مخاطر هذه القنوات تتمثل فى :-

1- مهاجمة العقيدة والأخلاق الفاضلة بما تعرضه من مسلسلات أو برامج أو حتى نشرات أخبار تحمل مضمونا وثنيا أو حتى دينيا منحرفا كمسلسلات الأساطير والخرافات التى تتحدث عن "آلهة " كذلك الأفلام والبرامج الإباحية التى تتخصص العديد من القنوات فيها والتى تهدف إلى نشر الرذيلة والانحلال الخلقى .

2- زرع القيم والثقافة الاستهلاكية وتحويل الإنسان إلى حيوان مستهلك كالسائمة لا هم له إلا الاستهلاك خاصة للسلع والمنتجات الغربية مستغلة فى ذلك أساليب إعلان مؤثرة فيقول احد خبراء الدعاية والإعلان عن الترويج للمشروبات قائلا " الآن لا يمكن تصنيع العطش بينما الذوق يمكن تصنيعه فعطشى العالم يمكنهم شرب الماء فإذا كان عليهم أن يشربوا المشروبات التى توفر لغيرهم دخلا كان لابد أن يرتبط الاستهلاك بحاجات جديدة وأذواق جديدة
انك لابد أن تشرب لان ذلك يجعلك تشعر بأنك شاب وجذاب ومهم وصاحب نفوذ وقوى ورياضى ووسيم وعصرى ورائع وتتمتع بمهارات غير عادية وتساير العصر وجزء من العالم " .

3- نشر العنف وذلك عن طريق المسلسلات والأفلام التى تشجع على العنف وتمجده وتصوره الوسيلة الوحيدة لحل الخلافات والنزاعات بين البشر وما يخلفه ذلك من نزاعات وخلافات وجرائم ولعل انتشار العنف فى وسائل الأعلام الأمريكية هو الذى دفع 56 شخصية بارزة بينهم كارتر وفورد الرئيسين الأمريكيين السابقين إلى مناشدة هوليوود لوضع ضوابط لتقليص مشاهد العنف والاثارة فى الأفلام . وكان من نتيجة ذلك أن أصبحت معدلات الجريمة فى الولايات المتحدة أعلى منها فى غالبية البلدان مما أدى لانعدام الأمن ففى عام 1997 م كان هناك واحد من بين كل خمسين أمريكيا مسجون وواحد من كل عشرين أخلى سبيله تحت شرط الاختبار وهذا المعدل عشرة أمثال نظيره فى أوربا

4- إبادة الملكات الفكرية والإبداعية لدى الناس وخاصة الأطفال " فالتليفزيون الفضائى الواقع فى حبائل التجارة الأمريكية لا يرى فى تلاميذ المدارس إلا كزبائن منتظرين وليس كنقاد ومواطنين منتظرين " .
ولكن هل نقف عاجزين ومكتوفى الايدى أمام هذا الهجوم التترى الذى يبغى أن يأتى على الأخضر من قيمنا ومبادئنا وأخلاقنا ؟

وهل نستسلم لأولئك الذين يريدون أن يصدوننا عن ديننا وأخلاقنا وقيمنا ويحاولون أن يجعلوننا نولى وجوهنا شطر ثقافتهم المادية وحضارتهم الوثنية وأخلاقهم المنحلة ؟
إن الله سبحانه وتعالى يدعونا أن ندافع عن ديننا ضد كل من يحاول أن يصدنا عنه وللدفاع عن المظلومين " وَمَا لَكُمْ لاَ تُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَالْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاء وَالْوِلْدَانِ الَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا
أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْ هَذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ الظَّالِمِ أَهْلُهَا وَاجْعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيًّا وَاجْعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ نَصِيرًا" النساء 75 .
إن التربية الإعلامية ومحو الأمية الإعلامية قد تكون وسيلة ناجعة وحلا مناسبا لمواجهة هذا الفيض المتدفق من الغزو الاعلامى الاجنبى المتواصل لعقولنا وأفئدتنا .
والتربية الإعلامية ينبغى أن توجه فى الأساس إلى الأطفال والشباب الذين ما زالوا فى مقاعد الدراسة بداية من مرحلة ما قبل الدراسة وحتى الدراسة الجامعية وينبغى إن تتناسب مع المرحلة التى يمر بها الإنسان .

ففى مرحلة ما قبل الدراسة ينبغى على القائمين على تعليم الأطفال فى هذه المرحلة وأولياء الأمور أن يصححوا ما قد يتسرب إلى برامج الأطفال " خاصة فى أفلام الكارتون " من أفكار تنشر مفاهيم مخالفة لديننا أو تقاليدنا أو أخلاقنا .

كذلك فى المرحلة الابتدائية يمكن أن تكون التربية الإعلامية على شكل مناقشات مفتوحة يجريها معلمون مؤهلون تربويا وإعلاميا وذلك بهدف تنمية الملكات الفكرية والنقدية لدى الأطفال وتعريفهم بالصواب والخطأ والحقيقى والخيال والحرام والحلال فيما شاهدوه
كذلك ينبغى إكساب أولياء الأمور بعض المعلومات الإعلامية عن البرامج والقنوات الفضائية وغيرها من وسائل الإعلام وذلك لتوجيه أبنائهم ومتابعتهم ويمكن أن يتم ذلك عن طريق مجالس الآباء والتى لا تخلو منها مدرسة .
أما فى المرحلة الإعدادية والثانوية فان الأمر يتطلب وضع منهج تربوى اعلامى يتم فيه شرح وسائل الإعلام وطريقة عملها ويهتم بوضع أسس التفكير الناقد الذى يعلم الطلاب كيفية تقييم البرامج والمواد المختلفة وعدم الانبهار بها والانسياق وراء ما تهدف إليه من أفكار قد تخالف الدين والمصلحة ويمكن تكليف الطلاب بنقد بعض البرامج وتحليل بعض الموضوعات ومعرفة الايجابيات والسلبيات .
كل ذلك سوف يؤدى بلا شك إلى تقليل الآثار السلبية لوسائل الإعلام ويمثل صورة من صور الدفاع عن ديننا وقيمنا ومبادئنا ضد هجوم لا نستطيع أن نرده بسهولة .

وقبل ذلك كله ينبغى الاهتمام " بتكوين الضمير وتربيته على مراقبة الله فى السر والعلن وهذا يعنى أن إقبال
الشخصية الإسلامية على الفضائل آو ابتعادها عن الرذائل لن يتحقق إلزاما ولكنه بالدرجة الأولى يتحقق التزاما
برقابة داخلية ذاتية تنبثق من القناعة والإيمان الداخلى عند الإنسان "( 7

- تذكر الإحصاءات أن الصناعات الثقافية تستحوذ على 6% من الناتج القومى الامريكى وهى تسبق الزراعة والصناعات التكنولوجية " الجات والتبعية الثقافية د. مصطفى عبد الغنى الهيئة المصرية العامة للكتاب .
وتمتلك الفاتيكان العديد من المحطات الإذاعية والقنوات التليفزيونية التى تعمل على تنصير العالم .

أضرار البرامج :

بالنسبة للشباب: هناك برامج ترفيهية وتافهة تأخذ تفكير الشباب وتجعل عقولهم كعقول العصافير , وهناك برامج كثيرة ومعظمها يأكل الوقت بدون فائدة , وهناك برامج يسمونها بالدينية تصدر فتاوى خاطئة تثير فتنة وتثير بلبلة لدى الشباب قليل الوعي بالأمور الدينية , وهناك برامج موضة كل مهمتها أن تعري المرأة بدعوة أن الموضة أساس التقدم ولا يلتفتوا أنهم بهذه البرامج يثيروا شهوة الشباب الذي هو أمل أي امة مسلمة وعندما يثيروا الشهوة قد يتجه جزء من هذا الشباب إلي الحرام والي الضياع لأنه سيتجه إلي معصية الله...
وبالنسبة للفتيات: يحاولن التقليد وتقليد الموضة ويشتركوا مع الشباب في التفكير التافه نظرا لتفاهة هذه النوعية من البرامج
وبالنسبة للسيدات: يشتركن مع الفتيات في ذلك
وبالنسبة للرجال يحرصن على مشاهدة بعض البرامج نظرا لان مقدمة البرنامج مذيعة متبرجة "زيادة عن اللزوم" وبعضهم يشاهد هذه البرامج" لرؤية المذيعة الفلانية لابسة إيه في حلقة اليوم من البرنامج الفلاني. "
والمسلسلات بالنسبة للشباب عبارة عن تضييع وقت ومشاهدة عالم قد يكون محروم منه نظرا للحالة الاقتصادية التي يعاني منها بعض شباب الوطن العربي , ومن ناحية اخرى مشاهدة الفتيات المحبوبات لديه ورؤية ملابسهن وتبرجهن والتلذذ بذلك , وأضرار المسلسلات ايضا الحشو الخاطئ عن الحياة في جميع المجالات ومنها أمثال شعبية مخالفة للدين , و أحكام وألفاظ خاطئة عن الدين , وإقرار بالحرام وتصوير الحجاب في صورته الخاطئة , وتصوير الشيوخ في صور نأسف لها , وتصوير العلاقات الزوجية بانها من ابواب التعاسة و "النكد " ,,, وغيرها من الحشو الذي يضر الشباب , وتقليد الشباب للمسلمين في شرب السجائر والشيشة , و شرب الخمر ,, وللأسف بعض الشباب الضعيف في معلوماته الدينية ينقاد وراء الممثلين ويقلد تقليد أعمى
وللفتيات كما هو الحال للشباب ولكن بالعكس فالفتيات يعجبن بالنجوم الشباب من الممثلين ويصفونهم مثلا هذا الممثل "زي القمر " إلي غيرها من التعليقات وأيضا تقليد الممثلات في مظهرهن والصورة الخاطئة للحجاب والشهوة التي تثار لديهن من الكلام داخل هذه المسلسلات عن الزواج السهل للأغنياء وقد يكون هؤلاء الممثلات والممثلين في الحقيقة فقراء فيزداد تعقدهم , وتثار شهوتهم بالكلمات المعسولة التي يقولها البطل في المسلسل للبطلة ,, وايضا المفاهيم الخاطئة التي تبثها هذه المسلسلات عن الحياه الزوجية والحب وكل شئ في حياتنا

والسيدات مثل الفتيات في تلقي المعلومات والمفاهيم الخاطئة عن الحياة واقصد بالخاطئ : المخالفة لدين الله وسنة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم
وللرجال كما الشباب للتلذذ والتقليد الأعمى وتقليد المساوئ أكثر من الايجابيات
والله عنده العفو
أما الأفلام :فهي عبارة عن أحداث قد تشبه المسلسل ولكن بدون تطويل فيكون الفيلم كله عبارة عن ساعتين أو اقل أو أكثر يحكي قصة معينة
وما يهمنا ان الأفلام الآن بدأت تتحرر أكثر , فازدادت المشاهد الساخنة كما يطلقون عليها
والأفلام , بها أيضا نفس الحشو عن الحب والزواج وما ليس في الدين وبهذا نرى الدين في أسوأ صورة وليس في أبهاها , وهذه الأفلام تعرض في السينيمات والفضائيات معنى ذلك أن العالم كله يشاهده من أول العالم العربي إلي الاوربي
ومعنى ذلك أن الأفلام تنشر محتوياتها عالميا , وإذا كان فيها مايشوه صورة الإسلام فالتشويه عالميا فلننتبه للخطورة
فالأضرار على الشباب والفتيات والسيدات والرجال واحدة كما في المسلسلات مع اختلاف درجات التأثر بالنسبة لكل نوع
فالتبرج موجود بالمسلسلات والأفلام وأيضا موجود بالفيديو كليب فالتأثر واحد والشهوة تتحرك بقدر درجة الإثارة المطروحة في أي مسلسل أو فيلم أو فيديو كليب
الفيديو كليب فى الفضائيات هذا مصيبته مصيبة , فهو يحكي معاني محتويات كلمات الأغنية التي بها الفيديو كليب , فنجد الشباب والرجال يتلهفوا لرؤية الفيديو كليب العربي والأجنبي وتقليد الملابس التي لا علاقة لها غالباً بالرجولة ومعنى الرجولة وتقليد تصرفاتهم وأيضا يشاهدوها لان بها مناظر جنسية قد تكون صريحة وإثارة للشهوة لديهم , لدرجة أننا سمعنا نفور الأزواج من زوجاتهم اعتراضا على أشكالهم بعد رؤيتهم للفيديو كليب ورؤية المطربة الفلانية ذات القوام الممشوق والصوت العذب ,
والفتيات والسيدات رؤيتهم قد تكون للتقليد من ملابس لطريقة معاملة بين الرجل والمرأة , وقد يحدث طلاق بين الزوجة وزوجها نتيجة لأنها ترى فتى أحلامها وما تريده في الرجل في المطرب الفلاني صاحب العضلات الممشوقة والعيون الخضراء وغيرها من المواصفات , والفتيات ترى فتى أحلامها في المطرب الفلاني فيتأخر زواجها نظرا لأنظارها فارس أحلامها بشكل معين , وتتناسى هؤلاء الفتيات أن معظم من في الفيديو كليب والأفلام والمسلسلات والأفلام يضعون مستحضرات تجميل بالإضافة إلي تدخل التكنولوجيا في التصوير وتعديل وتحسين الصور التصوير السينمائي أو التلفزيوني
ونحن نسمع أن الفن رسالة , هذه المقولة على عيني وعلى رأسي ولكن نحن نطالب دار الإفتاء والعلماء مثل الدكتور محمد المسير والدكتور صبري عبد الرؤف وغيرهم من علماء الأزهر الأفاضل بتوضيح هذا الأمر , كيف يكون الفن المعروض على الفضائيات رسالة هادفة وفي نفس الوقت لايشيع فاحشة او صورة خاطئة عن الإسلام او عن الحياة الزوجية داخل إطار الشريعة الإسلامية وهل التمثيل حلال ام حرام وإذا كان حلال كيف يكون التمثيل ؟؟ وهل تشترك المرأة في التمثيل ام لا؟؟ وأي الأنواع من انواع الفن حلال وايها حرام , نظرا لان المواهب تتعدد وهناك فنون تخدم الإسلام كالرسم الكراكتيري ان صح نطقها هكذا , والشعر الإسلامي ,, فنحن نريد توضيح

وللأسف !!
هناك من الناس من يأخذون العبر والعظى من المسلسلات والأفلام والفيديو كليب ويكون منهج حياتهم وطريقهم مرتبط وشبة الأصل لطريق هؤلاء الممثلين والممثلات والمطربين والمطربات في أفلامهم ومسلسلاتهم وغيرها في حياتهم ,بدل من اتخاذ منهج وطريق وسنة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وسنن أتباع رسول الله في حياتنا

أمثلة تمثل كيفية حدوث الاثر الايجابى للفضائيات
لا ننكر أن هناك ايجابيات من المسلسلات والأفلام وبعض الفيديو كليب الهادفة والأفلام قد يكون لها هدف ومعالجة مشكلة ما في المجتمع ولكن ما يصاحب هذا من مناظر غريبة قد تكون جنسية وقد تكون رؤية فتيات متبرجات , ولكن سلبياتها أكثر أننا نجد أن الايجابيات من حل المشكلة بنسبة كبيرة ولكن سلبيات الفيلم في منكراته أكثر بكثير من النفع العائد من الفيلم ككل
وكذلك المسلسلات
أما الفيديو كليب فالهادف منها مثل كليبات الشيخ مشاري راشد ولن اذكر أسامي أخرى لأني لا احكم على ما لا اعرفه...

أن نعود لتشريع الله من القرآن الكريم ونعود لسنة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم التي بها نسعد في الدنيا والآخرة ونلقى الله نحن مطمئنون
ومشاهدة التلفزيون ليست حرام لان التلفزيون سلاح ذو حدين نستطيع رؤية برامج دينية وبرامج هادفة ونطيع الله بأننا نشاهد ما يدفعنا إلي التثب في دين الله ونثاب على ذلك بإذن الله لأننا في هذه الحالة نكون حريصين على تعلم ديننا تعلم صحيح ونستطيع رؤية ما يغضب الله فالقرار فأيدينا , وانصح بمشاهدة قنوات دينية معتدلة والبرامج الدينية الهادفة التي بها علماء حقيقيون مثل الدكتور عمر عبد الكافي والدكتور محمد المسير ومشاهدة خواطر الشيخ الشعراوي وأيضا نشاهد ونسمع الشيخ محمود المصري صاحب الكلمة القوية والأسلوب السلس , والشيخ محمد حسين يعقوب والشيخ الحويني والشيخ محمد حسان والشيخ وجدي غنيم , وأجيال الشباب من الدعاة مثل مصطفى حسني

وبالنسبة للأفلام والمسلسلات فنحن ننتظر إجابة كبار علماء الأزهر في حقيقة التمثيل وان الفن رسالة ولحين الإجابة فنحن عرفنا الحكم بالرؤية إننا نشاهد عمليات زنا تحت مسمى تمثيل , فلنتقي الله فيما بقى من عمرنا بالعودة لدين الله وسنة رسول الله والتوبة والندم و الله غفور رحيم...
